Nissan reveals details about new 2019 GT-R models

2019 Nissan GT-R Nissan announces details about new 2019 GT-R, which is already on sale at Nissan dealers worldwide. With starting price of $99,990 for 2019 GT-R Pure model, this becomes the most affordable of all four machines in the lineup. So, let’s see what buyers will get for their money.

First of all, the GT-R Premium features 11-speaker Bose audio system, Active Noise Cancellation and Active Sound Enhancement systems and Titanium exhaust system.

On the other hand, there’s the GT-R Track Edition, which is designed to deliver some more aggression on the road and the track by incorporating GT-R NISMO components and drivetrain systems.

And as we talk about NISMO, GT-R NISMO is the ultimate GT-R machine in the lineup – it offers a total of 600hp output and numerous NISMO drivetrain changes and additions. Also, this is the vehicle that comes in limited number in North America. It features motorsport-inspired technologies, optimized aerodynamics, suspension and drivetrain upgrades.

Also, there are three interior packages – Amber Red, Kuro Night and Rakuda Tan. All are available with GT-R Premium and come along with three premium exterior color finishes. There’s also an All-Weather Package for Pure and Premium grades. Furthermore, all 2019 GT-R models come equipped with LED headlamps with integrated LED Daytime Running Lights.

In terms of drivetrain system, 2019 GT-R Pure, Premium and Track Edition grades come with 3.8-liter DOHC 24-valve V6 engine that produces a total of 565hp 476lb-ft of torque. Such an output is distributed via 6-speed manual transmission to all wheels, by ATTESA E-TS AWD system. GT-R NISMO is rated 600hp and 481lb-ft of torque and also features personalization options and interior design tweaks.

2018 Nissan LEAF NISMO RS All-new Nissan LEAF NISMO RC, an electric sports vehicle, has been unveiled in Tokyo. Sexy and capable, new family member showcases design team’s dedication and capability for delivering a contemporary design and refined drivetrain system.

With two electric motors, new AWD system and aggressive body expression, the track-ready machine adopts Nissan’s vision for electric power and zero emission goals. A key component in the project is brand’s Intelligent Mobility vision, which features new battery technology and drivetrain components from LEAF lineup – world’s best-selling electric vehicle.

LEAF NISMO RC, as mentioned, is powered by two electric motors, placed at opposite ends of chassis. The combined power output is measured at 240Kwh and 640Nm of torque. Also, the new AWD system ensures enhanced stability and massive cornering capabilities. The power is managed independently to each axle and instantly supplies torque to the tire with the most grip, which leads to more confident and strict track behavior.

Also, the team has decided to mark all the changes and additions with some additional exterior features. New Nissan LEAF NISMO RC is based on the original LEAF NISMO RC design and showcases long hood with signature V-motion grille, distinctive silver-and-black paint color scheme with NISMO red accents. Nissan Sentra reveals further surprises for 2019 model year

2019 Nissan Sentra SR Turbo Nisan announces further details for the new 2019 Nissan Sentra, brand’s sexy answer to the demands of 2019 season year. Geared with tons of features and refined drivetrain system, the latest family member has a lot to demonstrate – and we are eager to review it, so let’s waste no more time and see what this bad boy has for us!

As expected, there’s new upgrade package that includes 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, rear disc brakes, Blind Spot Warning system, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Intelligent Cruise Control, power sliding glass moonroof with tilt feature, central room dim lamp and dual illuminated visor mirrors. This is a so-called Special Edition Pack and is present or can be installed to any of the 6 trim levels.

In terms of drivetrain system, the 2019 Sentra adopt the efficient and yet agile 124hp 1.8-liter 4-cylinder engine, paired to an advanced Xtronic gearbox with fast and yet smooth shifts. For SR Turbo and NISMO trim levels there’s a 1.6-liter Direct Injection Gasoline turbocharged engine that produces a total of 188hp and can be paired to either 6-speed manual or exclusive and fine-tuned Xtronic gearbox.

Furthermore, every vehicle in the lineup features the already mentioned 17-inch 10-spoke aluminum-alloy wheels, lower body sill extensions, rear spoiler with integrated LED brake lights, fog lights and chrome exhaust tip finisher. Exclusively for NISMO trim level, engineers have included signature “layered double wing” design treatment in the front, side and rear lower body panels, while the interior features NISMO front seats with logo and additional side bolstering.

Nissan reveals details for the 370Z lineup. What should you know?

2017 Nissan 370Z Coupe Nissan announces details for the2017 370Z Coupe, 370Z NISMO and 370Z Roadster. Already on sale, ne latest members of the Nissan Z lineup have a lot to demonstrate. Good news is that prices remain the same as for the 2016 models, but the improvements are worth mentioning. So, let’s waste no more time and see what is going on here!

The most boring one. 370Z comes with neat performance features, but the same old expression. Offered in three trim levels, the vehicle comes with massive power output of 332hp via a 3.7-liter DOHC V6, mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. There is also a 7-speed automatic available as an optional feature. Oh yeah, it also includes paddle shifters. Not bad.

Nissan proudly unveils the 2017 GT-R NISMO. Check it out!

Beautiful and confident, the new 2017 Nissan GT-R NISMO made its global debut at the Nürburgring race, known as the longest and one of the toughest race tracks in the world. Also, this was the place where the new GT-R NISMO was tested, tuned and refined.

And just like the GT-R Premium, the 2017 GT-R NISMO features redesigned face and overall more aggressive fascia. Also, in order to keep the engine cool, the engineering team geared the car with special dark chrome V-Motion grille. Also, the reinforced hood avoids deformation at extreme speed and allows it to keep its aerodynamics at high levels. We all see what is happening here: Nissan team makes everything possible to blend capabilities with aesthetics. And in our opinion we see a more than satisfactory result.

Furthermore, the 2017 GT-R NISMO benefits from overall refreshed interior. In fact, the whole cabin has that more upscale feel and offers incredible feel of comfort. The dashboard and the steering wheel are covered in high-quality Alcantara suede, while the central stack layout has been improved and simplified with tons of utility systems. And let’s not forget about the 8-inch touch-panel monitor with large icons, the Display Command Control on the carbon fiber central console and the comfortable leather-appointed Recaro seats.

Drivetrain system

The AWD-drive NISMO also features and tons of performance upgrades. The stiffer body construction allows the addition of special shock absorbers, new springs, new stabilizers and additional downforce. Also, the special Blistein DampTronic driver-adjustable system utilizes multiple vehicle inputs in order to provide the ideal damping force amount and high level of control for any given track situation.

By the way, the engine is a twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V6, capable of producing 600hp (447kW). Sweet, right? Mated to a six-speed dual-clutch gearbox, this power unit features pair of high-flow, large diameter turbochargers and contributes to the overall balance between offering both local race capabilities and technical mountain road driving.

Guinness Says Nissan GT-R NISMO is the Fastest Drift Car

Nissan GT-R NISMO Side View Two days ago Nissan announced that the GT-R NISMO is about to make a brand new world record. Now, the Japanese company is absolutely ready to release the full details about the achievement. It has been officially revealed that the GT-R NISMO will be registered in the Guinness Book of Records with its fastest ever recorded drif! What’s only unfortunate is that we don’t have a video to show how the record was achieved.

The first thing we have to say about it is that the drift wasn’t done with a regular GT-R NISMO but with a specially-tuned GT-R from the 2016 model year, which was developed with the support and coordination of NISMO specialists. The company said that the car used for the stunt was uprated to 1,380 horsepower (1,105 kW). In addition, its entire power was adapted so it goes to the rear wheels. Before the special record event, the car was tested at Japan’s Fuji Speedway facility. Helping Nissan and NISMO was GReddy Trust.

The second important detail here is that the car was driven by Masato Kawabata, who is the Japanese drift champion and title holder for the Japanese drifting series. Kawabata managed to drift at a speed of 189.49 miles per hour or 304.96 kilometers per hour and 30 degrees angle. Everything was performed during a special event at Fujairah International Airport, UAE.

There were also comments from the managing director of Nissan Middle East, Samir Cherfan, who said that thanks to this Guinness World Records title Nissan made international history for the fifth time in the Middle East. He then added that the “Nissan GT-R is one of the world’s most iconic supercars, proving time and again the incredible breadth of its capabilities, and has clearly demonstrated its performance leadership by beating the best drift cars out there”.

New World Record for the Nissan GT-R NISMO? [w/video]

Nissan GT-R NISMO Teaser Nissan GT-R NISNMO has a mission and it is to come at you in full force! The Japanese company has just released a teaser video which suggests that the GT-R NISMO is about to make the unthinkable and set a brand new world record. The “anticipation got us glued to our screens” and we immediately watched the video, and I urge you to do the same.

There are not so many details released so far, but we are definitely looking forward to know more. Nissan also assured us that new facts are to come very soon. Another details that gives a hint about the world record, is that the video you can watch below was actually released at first by Nissan Middle East and this means that the record will be probably achieved there.

From the video we can also tell that the GT-R Nismo appears to look a little bit different. After all, it would be unthinkable to have a brand new GT-R and not to modify the GT-R NISMO. What we can spot from the 16 seconds footage is the new shifter and the larger intercooler as well as the improved front.

2017 Nissan GT-R was unveiled in the end of March at the New York Auto Show. The most awaited car at the event caused a major excitement during its global reveal. Not only does the GT-R look better, but it also features more expressive interior as well as better driving performance characteristics. So we are looking forward to see what the NISMO variant would look like.

One thing we know for sure: it will feature a lot of carbon fiber and will develop far more than the previous-generation’s 600 horsepower. Stay tuned for the next exclusive news by Nissan. We’ll keep you posted.

Nissan GT-R NISMO N-Attack Package Debuts at SEMA Show

2016 Nissan GT-R NISMO N-Attack Package has just been announced as one of the ultimately special cars that will be featured at Nissan’s stand at the SEMA Show in November. The upper South Hall Booth with number 30024 will also feature three 2016 Nissan TITAN XD, Cummins project announcement and various NISMO parts.

The event in Las Vegas will preview two of the TITAN XD models, which will be outfitted Genuine Nissan Official Accessories. Precisely, they will include key components from a new, 50-plus piece accessory lineup. In addition, truck’s integrated gooseneck hitch will be hooked up to a trailer carrying a unique Cummins Project TITAN XD. The official reveal will happen at a press conference on November 3.

The third TITAN XD has been made in collaboration with SEMA and it is a result of a record-breaking “measuring session” held in April. The vehicle is based on the PRO-4X model, and from September it has been undergoing extensive modification by SEMA members. If you visit the show, then you will find it at the SEMA display area in the Grand Lobby.

There is no second thought that the GT-R is one of the most exclusive, wanted and special cars that exist. And it isn’t a secret that it wouldn’t be a true SEMA Show without a Nissan GT-R. We are very pleased to reveal that the company is going to premiere the 2016 GT-R NISMO N-Attack Package, which has been developed by Nissan Motorsports International.

Precisely, the pack comprises of parts developed through the time attack project at Nürburgring in Germany. The race track is the place where the Nissan GT-R NISMO recorded the fastest-ever lap time for a volume production vehicle. Furthermore, in the United States STILLEN was chosen by NISMO as the official installer and certified sales agent for the package. There is no other words disclosed about the special car, but we are sure that Nissan will soon release more information on the project.

2016 Nissan Maxima WIll Serve As an Official Safety Car At The TGP Viginina

2016 Nissan Maxima will come with a special equipment at the Virginia International Raceway, Danville, Virginia as the official Safety Car. The restyled vehicle, the 4-Door Sports Car will be on display throughout the competition. Furthermore, the vehicle will perform the same duties at the Circut of the Americas in Austin, Texas during the Lone Star Le Mans Sept. 17-19.

Nissan, as an official partner of IMSA, has fielded multiple cars and engines during the recent seasons. As you might know, IMSA is the sanctioning body for the TUDOR United Sports Car Championship.

What will happen is two Doran Racing Nissan 379Z Nismo vehicles will compete in the Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge during the Oak Tree Grand Prix weekend. And for the Lone Star Le Mans race, the Doran Racing Nismo vehicles will be taped and broadcasted on numerous TV programs and social media websites.

As you can see, the vehicles look good and stay confident on the road. With the special graphics and other slight visual improvements the 2016 Nissan Maxima Safety Car has surely a lot to demonstrate. Well, it has already proved itself as a trustworthy vehicle, but there is always a chance to demonstrate something more. And what will happen? We are about to see.

2015 Nissan Juke-R NISMO to Debut June 25 [VIDEO]

2015 Nissan Juke-R NISMO has just been teased via a single picture. And we are kind of excited because this was the world’s first supercar crossover. Now, the iconic vehicle is set to be updated with numerous cool features and probably a new engine. Nissan revealed that the latest evolution of the Juke-R NISMO will be utilizing the latest technology and will also feature significantly updated styling and running gear. All of which will come from the NISMO products, of course.

Unfortunately, the Japanese company did not disclose any other details about the car. However, there was a report published by Auto Express, which stated that the Juke-R NISMO is getting the GT-R NISMO’s 600 hp engine.

Yes, that is the best news ever isn’t it? So under the hood, we will luckily see the 3.8-liter V6 petrol unit, producing nearly 600 hp and optimum torque of 652 Nm (481 lb-ft), that will be connected to a six-speed dual-clutch transmission. If everything else is also in harmony with the GT-R, this also signifies for a run from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds or less and a top speed of 322 km/h (220 mph).

What we are to expect? Basically, the Juke-R Nismo is probably going to be equipped with FIA roll-cage and bucket seats. The teaser released has been made too dark, so we decided to make it easier for you and below you can view a lightened up version of it showing more details.

Are we seeing more clearly a white exterior, red details on the bumper and black rearview mirrors? The teaser image shows that the Juke-R NISMO will have more aggressive stance because of the edgier front bumper and wider wheel arches.

Well, we will have to wait until 25th to get the full picture, when 2015 Nissan Juke-R NISMO is going to make its supercar crossover debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in UK.

Nissan Proudly Returns on Le Mans Race With Three GT-R NISMO Models

It is finally here! The moment has arrived! On June 13, at 9 a.m. there will be three Nissan GT-R LM NISMO models, that will start the world’s toughest race, which will also mark Nissan’s return on Le Mans 24 Hours race.

The three machines, that received some radical upgrades, will compete with international team of drivers from Formula One, sportscar racing and Nissan’s GT Academy.

Max Chilton (GB), who is an ex-F1 star, GT Academy winner and GP3 racer Jann Mardenborough (GB} and the sportrscar legend Oliver Pla (FRA) will tame the #23 beast.

In car #22 will compete the longest-standing NISMO racer of them all, Michael Krumm (GER) himself, side by side with Le Mans winner Harry Tincknell (GB) and Nissan GT ace Alex Buncombe (GB)

And now, the special part. Nissan NISMO #21 was given a special livery to celebrate the Nissan R90CK, that dominated the Le Mans track 25 years ago. The number 21 vehicle comes with red, white and blue finish, so that it honors its predecessor. Now, for 2015 le Mans race, #21 will be driven by the current Super GT Champion Tsugio Matsuda (JAP), the first GT Academy winner and Super GT500 racer Lucas Ordonez (ESP) and the first winner of GT Academy Russia, Mark Shulzhitskiy (RUS).

The tree Nissan GT-R LM NISMOs will get back on the track on Wednesday, June 10 for a practice session. The qualifying for the race itself starts on Wednesday and Thursday.

As you know, Nissan-powered machines has taken the LM P2 class victory numerous ways in the last year, which makes it no surprice, that the NISMO-tweaked Nissan VK45DE V8 engine will be still choice number one for LM P2 engineer and race teams. Now the 2015 Le Mans 24-hours race will meet the three Nissan vehicles with V6 twin-turbo engines, and a 30 per cent grid at Le Mans, powered by Nissan.
