2018 Mitsubishi L200 Silverstone, the heart of British motor racing, has chosen a fleet of Mitsubishi L200 Pickup to keep the operation firmly on track. Something more, the iconic motorsport venue has already purchased 21 units of the award-winning AWD pickups.

The vehicle was chosen because of the overall high value and high standard specifications. Each of the vehicles is finished in either Aztec Red or Polar White and feature neat Silverstone livery and eye-catching decals. All of these were ordered in 4Life specification, aside from a single Double Cab that comes in Titan trim. However, all machines are powered by a 2.4-liter turbodiesel power units and a six-speed manual gearbox.

As you might know, the standard 4Life trim features an Easy Select 4WD system with rear differential lock, air conditioning, central door locking, 16-inch alloy wheels, Bluetooth connectivity and daytime running lights. Hill Assist and Trailer Stability Assist are also part of the standard equipment.

Mitsubishi team showcases one more limited edition machine: the Barbarian

2018 Mitsubishi L200 Barbarian SVP II Mitsubishi Motors continues to impress us by delivering even more goodies to the already successful L200 model lineup. Recently the team has unveiled The Barbarian SVP II – a special edition machine, produced by the SVP (Special Vehicle Projects) division.

The Barbarian is based on the original limited edition SVP model and just like the predecessor it comes with recognizable styling and tons of drivetrain upgrades. There will be only 250 units produced – half of these will be in Diamond Black body scheme coloring and the other half – in Atlantic Gray metallic.

All vehicles in the limited lineup feature 17-inch black and orange alloys, wrapped by BF Goodrich all-terrain wheels, appealing fog lamp rings, front and rear light bezels, door handle recess covers, puddle lamps and tailgate handle surround. And the cool things are that these are all covered in orange.

In terms of interior, the Barbarian impresses with six-pack leather seats with orange details and stitching. Each single SVP II machine also features individual limited edition number, SVP badging, and exclusive packaging. It includes Mitsubishi Smartphone Link Display Audio system, Apple and Android phone integration, and tons of additional goodies.

In terms of drivetrain system, Barbarian remains agile. It features an all-aluminum 2.4-liter turbodiesel power unit and offers the aid of a rotary-dial controlled Super Select 4WD system. Vilner presents AllRoad Ronin: check this bad boy out!

2018 Vilner Mitsubishi Lancer AllRoad Ronin Vilner is back! In fact, it is more correctly to say that it has already presented new kickass project that would put on shame numerous worldwide known tuners. It is called Mitsubishi Allroads Ronin and it is the first Vilner project for the 2018 season. As you might have already guessed, this vehicle will represent traditional Japanese styling and as always would showcase designer’s ridiculously high level of quality. So, let’s jump in, shall we?

First, let’s claim the obvious: the interior is revised in such a way that it has no longer anything in common with the stock one. When we talk about Japanese traditional artwork, we mean craftsmanship, precision and passion. What immediately catches the eye is the motif of the numerous cabin components that altogether represent the warmth of the wood art. And in order to achieve this kind of atmosphere, Vilner team has preferred hi-tech Japanese amaretta over the usual Alcantara covering.

What also looks super cool are the Katana swords placed in the cabin. Our personal favorite is the Katana handle, placed for a handbrake. Super cool. And our second favorite feature is the steering wheel. Just as the interior itself, the wheel is completely revised: it comes with ergonomic shape, high-quality leather covering and all this is topped with this warm brown color. Sweet.

The lucky Lancer Ralliart has also undergone some sweet, sweet drivetrain system upgrades. First of all, the overall height of the vehicle is far greater, compared to the original model\, while the Candy Apple wheels are covered by Yokohama Geolandar A/T-S tires. Under the hood, the engine generates a total of 241 horsepower, which makes it way more agile, compared to the stock model – cool, right?

And last, but not least, let’s take a look at the exterior styling. We are talking about off-road presence here. It is definitely accented by the massive height of the machine and the neat red-painted wheels. We also like the additional red accents thrown all over the body. And last, but not least, let us present you the most prominent feature of the exterior design: the artwork at the hood. GT-PHEV Concept: Mitsubishi’s challenge towards the future

2016 Mitsubishi GT-PHEV Concept Mitsubishi Motors Corporation reveals more details for the GT-PHEV Concept next-gen SUV that will be revealed at the 2016 Paris Motor Show.

What we know so-far is that the GT-PHEV will be some sort of super-high-end next-gen SUV machine that can tackle down any road and off-road challenge. Dressed up in MMC’s latest design ideals and geared with advanced drivetrain systems, the Concept will serve as brand’s turning point towards the future. So, let’s review the already known features!

The visual appearance of the vehicle can be described with only one word: massive. Definitely this thing looks huge and muscular and sort of makes you respect it. The front end shows powerful presence with MMC’s Dynamic Shield that is both clean and beautiful. The sides incorporate horizontal lines and light curves that expand the body further and enhance the feeling of massiveness. And the rear end? It finishes the idea of a blend of muscles and beauty. It looks big, aggressive, but at the same time stays clean neat. Long story short: we do like the looks of this vehicle.

PHEV Concept incorporates the next-generation of super powerful and efficient batteries and engines and it is expected that the SUV will deliver some outstanding performance rates.

The aim of the engineering team is to deliver a combination of aggressive road behavior and smooth ride at the same time. Personally, I am not convinced that “road aggressiveness” and “smooth ride” can be blended in a single sentence, but it appears as Mitsubishi team thinks otherwise.

Furthermore, If team’s promises become a reality, this vehicle will be capable to cover about 1,200 kilometers with just a single charge of the battery unit. Hopefully, the triple-motor idea will be enough to handle the electric power demand.

In fact, we tend to like the idea for this one. Hopefully, the reality will resemble the words and promises of Mitsubishi team.

Vans VS SUVs: a battle for convenience and comfort. On which side are you?

2015 Toyota Sienna Becoming more and more popular, SUVs are known for their sporty elegance, cutting edge technologies and versatile spirit. On the other hand, the good ol’ minivans remain favorite for all these who seek vast amount of space in exchange for some needless features. So, who should go for a minivan and who should go for a SUV? Let’s check out!

Recently, we have witnessed the unveiling of some neat minivans, such as Toyota’s Sienna and Honda’s Odyssey, both of which show contemporary styling and neat technologies. But let’s be honest here: minivans are still used for delivering large groups of people or large amount of cargo in exchange for some performance rates. Knowing that choosing between a SUV and a minivan is a difficult decision for a lot of people, we decided to give our “two cents” about both segments and help them choose wisely. The difficulties come from the fact that both types of vehicles undergo daily changes and can often offer quite neat and more preferable additions that what they offered two years ago.

So, what should you get? Well, if you are dealing with kids, plenty of grocery bags and two or three dogs, the van is definitely for you. Fitting the family the family needs and everything you need in a single vehicle, the van is also preferred by people who had enough of wild parties, road trips and “fun”.

Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Final Edition and the End of the Prestigious Auction Event

Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. announced that after a 10-day long auction of the first Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Final Edition 0001, won the auction with a bid of $46, 200. The event concluded live at the 29th annual MS Dinner in San Diego on November 21 where Mitsubishi Motors was the main sponsor.

The legendary sport vehicle is a true manifestation of Mitsubishi’s advanced technology and engineering achievements. The vehicle will include a special numbered plaque and 5-speed gearbox, paired to a turbocharged 4-cylinder 2.0-liter unit. The engine produces a total of 303hp (22kW) which makes it one of the most powerful mass-production Lander models. Base for the current GSR model, the unique vehicle also includes lightweight two-piece Brembo brake rotors and special Blistein shock absorbers and Eibach springs. And let’s not forget the Super All-Wheel Control System.

Provided that Mitsubishi’s long-standing involvement with support of the National MS Society, it was the only fitting brand to donate the first Lancer Evolution off the production line for the US market. Furthermore, Brooklyn Mitsubishi is currently the top ranking Mitsubishi dealer in New York and has even plans to display the Final Edition in the dealership showroom.

The second engine is a 1.4-liter Kappa turbocharged four-cylinder engine, available on the Eco trim. It produces 128hp (94kW) and 156 lb-ft of torque. It is mated to an EcoShift seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. This engine is geared with special cylinder exhaust manifold for improved efficiency. The unit also offers increased tumble flow for fast combustion and suppressing knock tendency.

Mitsubishi Demonstrates 2017 Mirage Hatchback

Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc today revealed details for the 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage. The vehicle comes with incredible fuel efficiency, fresh exterior design, enhanced drivetrain system and refined interior design. But despite all the changes, the vehicle still offers that attractive price to quality ratio and of course, numerous class-leading features. The vehicle is expected to be available for order in spring 2016 and while we wait, we decided to have take a closer look to its features.

In fact, there are numerous changes for the 2017 model and the most obvious one is the exterior. 2017 Mirage receives some refined looks with the new hood, grille, reshaped front and rear bumpers, the changed fog lights and headlamps, rear spoiler and wheels. The exterior is now with enhanced aerodynamic features along with incredible visual impact.

On the other hand, the inside of the latest Mirage model received special seat coating, gauge cluster, new steering wheel and new shift panel. And in addition, there is a special 300-watt Rockford-Fosgate audio system with EcoPunch feature, along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto systems.

Under the hood of the 2017 Mirage there is a sweet 1,2-liter 3-cylinder DOHC unit that incorporates the latest version of Mitsubishi Innovative Valve timing Electronic Control system. This special addition further boosts the fuel efficiency and power output and minimazes the exhaust emissions at the same time. But although flexible, the power unit seems to deliver a bit low power: a total of 78hp (57kW) and 74 lb-ft of torque.

And along with the refreshed power unit, 2017 Mirage comes with improved handling and brakes. Engineering team fine-tuned the spring rate and damping force of the shock absorbers, while, at the same time improved the handling and stability. Furthermore, every 2017 Mirage comes with wide array of safety features of technology. There are a total of seven air bags, strategically placed in exact places in the interior, 4-wheel anti-lock brakes, Electronic Brake-force Distribution and Brake Assist. There is also a Tire Pressure Monitoring System, Active Stability Control, and Hill Assist technologies.

Mitsubishi Announced Auction for a Legendary Model

2015 Mitsubishi Lancer FInal Edition Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc., title sponsor of the 29th annual MS Dinner Auction, has just announced a national auction of the first Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Final Edition, one of just 1,600 produced. The idea behind the event is to raise money for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. And in order to make the vehicle available to collectors all around the country, the auction went live 10 days in advance on eBay. Bidding will conclude November 11 at the MS Dinner Auction at the Loews Coronado Bay Resort in Coronado, California.

The pinnacle of Mitsubishi’s state-of-the-art technology and engineering, the well-known Lancer Evolution, is in its first 10th and sadly final year and there are mere 1,600 Final Edition models that will be produced for the US. Bidding will be for the US0001 vehicle and it is already open on eBay and will conclude at the MS Dinner November 21.

As you might know, the Lancer Evolution is known as gear heads all around the world and it is believet that it is the originator of the four-door sports car. The Final Edition model comes with a 5-speed transmission that works in perfect harmony with the turbocharged and intercooled DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder 2.0-liter unit. This combination makes the vehicle one of the most powerful mass-production Evolution with its 303hp (222kW).
