  • Land Rover Discovery XXV Special Edition

    Land Rover has unveiled the Discovery XXV Special Edition. The limited edition SUV is created to celebrate the model’s 25th anniversary. It is priced at £63,000 and comes with some minor upgrades.

    The exterior boasts four new colors – Causeway Grey, Santorini Black, Fuji White and Indus Silver. There is also a Narvik Black grille surrounds and mirror caps, and Dark Atlas features on the grille and fender vents. Silver full-length roof rails, body-coloured handles and a stainless steel bumper accessory tread plate complement the exterior. Last, but not least is the set of 20” split five-spoke alloy wheels.

    The XXV Special Edition builds on the Discovery’s luxurious HSE specification, to create a sophisticated and premium interior. It features upholstered instrument panel binnacle and door top rolls. There is a choice of three interior leather colourway options: ebony, cirrus or dual-tone ebony/cirrus. Additional luxurious highlights include twist pile carpet mats and a leather-wrapped wooden steering wheel, while subtle XXV embossing throughout adds to the high-quality British workmanship of the XXV Special Edition.

    The Land Rover received a makeover and now it is capable of setting a fashion statement in every sense. The contributor for this is the aggressive looking styling package, which now adorns the Discovery.

    To be more precise, the package comprises of RS Front Grille with 3D mesh, 9.5 x 22 and 10.5x 22” RS-R wheels at the front and rear respectively, RS vented front and rear air dams, brake calipers finished in liquid red, privacy tinted glass, door entry sill plates in stainless steel, front wheel arch LED light strips and Kahn enamel tailgate logo and wing shield branding.

    Kahn’s interiors are always a masterpiece. No exception is the modified interior design of this model. The bespoke touch includes front, middle and rear seats in quilted and perforated black and red leather, clock bezel surround finished with Swarovski Diamonds, colored rev counter dial and four door armrest stitching.

    Now, the designers at A. Kahn Design are presenting to us a modified version of this iconic model, and consequently what we can expect is nothing less than luxury, style and class. The exterior of the vehicle is decided in voluptuous diamond pearl white and in addition the visual attributes of this Land Rover are further complemented by Kahn’s styling package.

  • Land Rover Discovery 4 HSE Luxury Special Edition

    One way to distinguish it from the common Discoveries is looking at the exterior – silver roof rails, silver capped mirrors, a silver grille surround and silver fender vents. That may be too much silver for you but Land Rover say every segment is a different shade of the color, and if they say so…anyways. The door handles are coordinated with the body color (Santorini Black) while the rear bumper has a stainless steel step. As a finishing touch, the Discovery lays on a set of 20-inch 10-spoked alloy wheels. If you happen to miss all of those details, there’s a badge on the tailgate that lets you know…that you have missed them.

    Inside, a feast of leather, Ivory or Ebony, welcomes us. If the quantity is deemed insufficient, more Windsor leather can be added on top of the dashboard binnacle, the door top rolls, armrests and pull Dark Zebrano veneer can be found here and there and the floor mats have contrasting edges – thrilling.

    The SUV is available exclusively in Santorini Black or Fuji White and features a unique grille, Satin Black roof rails, and 20″ 5-spoke alloy wheels.

    The interior boasts Taurus leather with contrast stitching, Grand Ivory trim, and special floor mats.

    A new well-equipped limited edition Discovery 3, called the Pursuit, will be on sale in March 2007, for under £30,000 OTR. Only 300 Discovery 3 ‘Pursuits’ will be available from Land Rover dealerships across the country.
