  • Kahn Design and the Volcanic Jeep Wrangler Sahara CTC

Kahn Jeep Wrangler Sahara CTC Side ViewIt is Friday and we are absolutely ready to let you know of this week’s project of the tuners at Kahn Design. Under their expertise is the Jeep Wrangler. Involved in the making of this customization is also Chelsea Truck Company, so we definitely expect the best treatment that can be offered for this car. We know that Kahn Design likes to make thing perfect inside and out, so let’s see what they have done to the exterior of the beautiful Wrangler.

    Exterior

The CJ300 LE has a vibrant paint scheme, called Volcanic Rock. It has been contrasted via Satin Black door handles, mirrors, roof and fuel filler cap. The same grayish theme is used for the front where we see two shadow chrome headlights, sitting on either side of the four-slot Chelsea Tuck Company grille with industrial mesh.

We can assure you that this vehicle is Kahn’s via the new Chelsea Truck Company spare wheel cover, Kahn enamel tailgate logo, and fender shields. Silver Platinum 20-inch Jeep 1986 wheels were fitted with 275/55/20″ tyres, behind which sit Liquid Gold brake callipers. At last grabbing the attention is the quad cross-hair exhaust system sitting beneath the rear bumper.

    Interior

Proceeding to the interior, it is as luxurious as you might imagine it to be, if you are following closely Kahn’s work. It can’t be viewed from the outside, because up front is a privacy-tinted glass. Once you step inside, you experience the comfortability of brand new front and rear seats wrapped in quilted and perforated black leather. By the way, the same approach has been used for the centre console and arm rests.

The last details were added with the stainless steel door entry sill plates, toughened rubber floor mats, and machined vented foot pedals. And there is a complement by the tuner. The person who will get this beautiful machine will also receive an elegant Chelsea Truck Company watch with machined Stainless Steel case with black PVD coating and tough mineral glass. The perfect attribute for this beautiful Wrangler, isn’t it?

  • Kahn Designs a Keswick Green Defender that is Ready for Action

Land Rover Defender Hard Top CWT by Kahn front view Keswick Green is the new color of the famed Kahn Land Rover Defender Hard Top Chelsea Wide Track vehicle. We have seen it in ecstatic Silver color, but we also think that the more we see of it in various options, the more we like it. This is one of the simplest reasons why the Defender is featured in today’s news. And here are the details.

    Exterior

As mentioned Keswick Green is the choice for the exterior color of the model. But its appearance is not attractive only because of that. Given that the Defender has an innate boxy styling; it was easier for the tuners to emphasize its muscular appearance with some simple but very effective changes.

SEE ALSO: Kahn Releases Silver Land Rover Defender Hard Top CWT

They have added a new set of front and rear wide wing arches with exposed bolt apertures. In addition, the front fascia also received different bumper with integrated daytime running lights and shadow chrome headlights.

What is more, the X-Lander front grille was color matched to the lower bumper guard in order to reinforce the strong appearance of the Defender. Chelsea Truck Company delivered the wheel cover and optional side steps.

At last, 1948 Defend Retro wheels of the 16-inch size are the ‘shoes’ of this big vehicle. They are fitted with 235/70/16″ tyres at all four corners. By the way, the wheels are painted in Piano Black and come with Diamond Cut finish.

The first thing to spot inside is the Sports GTB seats wrapped in quilted and perforated leather. The instrument binnacle received full leather upholstery, while the door card set was completed with Alcantara trimming. Hard-wearing floor mats, Kahn’s billet steering wheel and vented foot pedals in machined aluminium as well as the Churchill time clock integrated into the dashboard round out the impressive styling of the luxurious cabin.

  • Range Rover Sport 400 LE Luxury Edition by Kahn Design

Range Rover Sport 400 LE Luxury Edition by Kahn Design Front ViewRange Rover Sport 400 LE Luxury Edition by Kahn Design is a truly unique vehicle for two major reasons. The first one is that its exterior has nothing to do with how the stock one look and the second is that the interior has been entirely reupholstered. Although there aren’t any changes in the engine output, we find this car really captivating and wanted to share it with you!

Let’s see what the tuning experts at Kahn have one here:

    Exterior

Regarding the exterior color, the first thing we see is the vibrant exterior color, called Volcanic Grey Satin. The next thing to spot is the contrasting Piano Black floating roof. In perfect harmony with the latter is the Black Label front grille with a 3-D floating mesh insert and the cool side vents on the new bumper.

KAHN’s badging also comes in black and it is positioned over the fenders and tailgate with black strip. In addition, 400-LE’s front bumper also inludes LED daytime running lights and unique centre piece.

What has happened at the rear? There is a twin single exit Crosshair exhaust system in polished aluminium, which protrudes from 400-LE bumper and carbon composite diffuser.

When it comes to wheels and tires, the production ones were substituted with in-house RS600 alloys of the size 9.5 x 22-inches and coupled with 285/35/22 tires. Behind the new wheels sit gold-painted brake callipers and this bi-color design approach has been applied inside.

Kahn Reveals Land Rover Defender Front And Side ViewFriday has arrived and so is the newest Kahn project. It is again based on a Land Rover vehicle, and this time under the spot is the Land Rover Defender 110 Double Cab Pick Up. In the work was also involved the Chelsea Truck Company, giving the Defender wider, luxurious and more menacing look.

    Exterior

This particular model has definitely this classic styling from the late 60s. Exactly this is what the tuner wanted to emphasize and thus it has painted it in Aintree Green. In addition, there are some extra equipment elements, which are not to underestimated.

SEE ALSO: Kahn Previews Stylish Range Rover Vogue RS650 Edition

Precisely, Kahn added new side vents with a stainless steel mesh, new bumper with integrated daytime running lights and shadow chrome headlamps. Extended front and rear wide wing wheel arches with exposed bolt apertures as well as the stainless steel hood and Chelsea Truck Company spare wheel cover are those necessary goodies that Kahn specialists just can’t go without.

Their model is called Mondial, they come in Volcanic Black and 20-inch dimension, and are fitted with 275 x 55 x 20″ tyres. Behind them we see painted brake callipers and toughened mud flaps. Above the wheels there is covered pickup truck bed.

Kahn designers have also make it possible for the Defender to receive full leather instrument binnacle, hard-wearing floor mats, billet and leather steering wheel, passenger dashboard top and grab handle, vented foot pedals in machined aluminium and centre glove box as well as Churchill time clock fascia.

  • Kahn Previews Stylish Range Rover Vogue RS650 Edition

Kahn Range Rover Vogue RS650 Edition Front and Side ViewKahn Range Rover Vogue RS650 Edition is here! We were missing these guys since there was nothing new around them for a (short) while. However, this project shows their expertise and in fact it is a good example of a good tuning. The Land Rover has been changed both inside and outside, and this is basically what the tuners have done:

    Better Exterior

We have seen many exterior tunings: some of them were very good, and some were disastrous. Here, the RS-650 can be attributed to the first group. The exclusive styling package is mostly made of carbon fiber.

SEE ALSO: Kahn and Chelsea Truck Company Reveal the Jeep Wrangler Sahara Project

Black Kirsch over Madeira Red is the main color of the pack and it features the following: carbon fiber front and rear bumpers, which feature a lot of detailing, outwards extended front and rear RS600 wheel arches with integrated air dams, glossy Piano Black floating roof, carbon side vents, tailgate strip, and front chin spoiler. By the way, the new front bumper perfectly integrates the factory fog lights.

What else is up front? We’ve forgotten to mention the unique 3-D mesh on each air intake and the new LE front grille complete with a 3D mesh floating insert. The changes at the back include RS-650 Edition roof and trunk lid spoiler. RS650 quad stainless steel cross-hair exhaust outlets protrude from the rear bumper.

The wheels here come in matt black and measure 23-inches, while the tires are of the dimension 305x30x23. Behind them we see painted brake callipers providing a great contrast to the black.

    Interior

Kahn Range Rover Vogue RS650 Edition Interior

This Range Rover RS-650 Edition features one of the best interiors we have seen so far. First and foremost, the color for the upholstery is Burnt Orange and we definitely think that it makes the atmosphere in the cabin unmatchable. The material used was Kahn Bridge of Weir Leather.

Upholstery was also delivered to the door tops, door arm rests, centre console, instrument binnacle, and steering wheel centre. Stainless steel door entry sill plates and the machined aluminium foot pedals give a sense of classiness.

  • Kahn and Chelsea Truck Company Tease Future Wrangler Project

Kahn Jeep Wrangler Chelsea Wide Track SketchKahn and Chelsea Truck Company are going to release a special edition of the Jeep Wrangler. Since they have released a sketch to tease the forthcoming project, we decided to see how can we ‘read’ what we see? So in other words here is what you can expect from the future Wrangler project.

The new styling package for Jeep’s most famous model will definitely add the sense of aggressive look. Prominent changes to the front grille and bumper are also obvious. It also seems that the vehicle will feature wider wheel arches filled with huge rubbers. And can we say that there is a new vented aluminium bonnet? That’s for sure!

SEE ALSO: Kahn Land Rover Defender 2.2 TDCI XS 110 Chelsea Wide Track Edition

Furthermore, it is also visible that this styling package will bring the Jeep closer in appearance to company’s successful Land Rover Defender Wide Track. Both clearly share many similar design cues.

Kahn also revealed that the pack will be available for both 2 and 4 door models, and both petrol and diesel variants. Another special thing about it is that it will be complemented by the Chelsea Truck Company’s wheel design and bespoke interior styling.

To sum it up: from what we can see, the complete package will add wide front and rear wheel arches, vented bonnet in aluminium as well as redesigned front grille and bumper.

  • Kahn Announces Plans for Speed 7 Racer Inspired by the 30s

Speed 7 Racer by Kahn - Sketch OneSpeed 7 is a vintage inspired racer which is Afzal Kahn’s third coach-building car. After we have seen the birth of the successful Flying Huntsman at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, and the WB12 Vengeance that is still to be launched this year, it is now time for the designers to continue with their exclusive projects.

Kahn sent us the two sketch images featured here. As you can see, the Speed 7 is very strongly inspired by the Grand Prix racers of the 1930s. And the best thing is that the brand has currently plans to build it by the end of the year.

SEE ALSO: Flying Huntsman 6X6 Concept Debuts Today!

The aim of Kahn is to recreate the original experience of the 30s era of motoring. However, he will use modern materials in order to make sure that there is exhilarating on-track handling and performance.

    Speed 7 - Sketch Two

From what we know so far, Speed 7 will be built in either aluminium or carbon composite. Its creation will be dedicated to those who really want to evoke the spirit of the 30s and create their own racing team.

Although we have seen only the sketches, we can clearly tell that this project will be more than exclusive. With unique interior inspired by the modern automotive and aircraft designs, and one-off exterior, this car is definitely going to make a strong impression.

Kahn also promised to feature on a special plaque the names of each individual involved in the build. In addition, every Speed 7 will come complete with a unique owner’s book detailing each stage of the design and manufacturing process. 30s styled clothing and accessories under the Speed 7 brand are also in the plans.

Kahn Land Rover Defender XS 110 CWT Fron ViewKahn Land Rover Defender XS 110 CWT is this week’s project presented by the talented experts at Kahn Design. They took a step further with the imposing posture of this classy Defender, by adding a lot of tweaks to the exterior and interior. The 7 seater is basically the perfect vehicle for you if you want to tackle any road condition. Literally. But this project takes everything a little bit further due to the exquisite work of the designers at Kahn. Here is why:

    External Graciousness

Kahn Land Rover Defender XS 110 CWT Side View

Kahn Land Rover Defender XS 110 CWT makes a strong impression when you see it for the first time. With its Orkney Grey paint and Satin Black roof it captures the attention immediately. • Flying Huntsman 6X6 Concept Debuts Today!

Kahn Flying Huntsman 6X6 Concept Front ViewKahn Flying Huntsman 6X6 Concept is hot exactly like the summer days right now. It has its exclusive premiere today and we are extremely happy to be among the first to introduce it to you! The vehicle looks gorgeous, and guess what, it runs on six wheels! If you want to view this beauty and be around its presence, you will have the opportunity to do that at the Billing Land Rover show. It begins today at the Billing Aquadrome in Northampton and ends on Sunday the 2nd of August.

    Exterior

Of course, to add two more wheels means that the Defender had to be transformed in a clever way. In other words, extension and widening were very useful for this task. Precisely, the bonnet was extended by 400mm, while the rear cabin by 800mm. The width of the concept has been also enlarged by 150mm.

SEE ALSO: Kahn Reveals the Defender Based Flying Huntsman Pick Up

The Volcanic Rock Satin Defender also got some tweaks for its exterior. Take a look at the new front bumper, X-Lander grille and the exuberance of Kahn badging. The addition of a third axle at the back, and two front-wheels and four back-wheels is what make the Flying Huntsman truly stand out. All six got 9″ x 20″ Volcanic Black Mondial wheel coupled with Cooper LTZ 275/55/20 tires.

    Engine

Kahn Flying Huntsman 6X6 Concept Rear View

Besides the heavy-duty chassis, upgraded suspension and braking as well as the hi-lo ratio drive system and locking differentials, the six-wheeled Defender hides something very special under its hood. And it is the GM LS3 V8 engine, producing a total of 430 horsepower (316kW). The unit works perfectly in collaboration with a GM six-speed automatic gearbox. There is more to that: it channels waste through an upgraded stainless steel exhaust system.

    Interior

Kahn Flying Huntsman 6X6 Concept Interior

At last but not least, we should speak about the interior. It looks so cool, that I am regretting that I haven’t seen this combination on other Kahn projects. For instance, there are Red Leather Sports seats with 100% wool Abraham Moon Skye Almandine inserts. Not to mention the quilted and perforated centre glove box or the Churchill time clock fascia insert. Finally, you have probably noticed already the single spoke steering wheel, ideally complementing the great new look of the cabin.

Go see it if you are in Northampton this weekend! It’s worth it!
