For a second consecutive year, the Jeep Grand Cherokee has been voted Best SUV by the Rocky Mountain Automotive Press Association (RMAP). It’s an assessment company based in Denver and is ran by such people as automotive journalists, automaker-communications representatives and other motor-industry professionals. It’s been giving away awards for six years now and its word is considered to be particularity heavy. But, Jeep can’t really be impressed by a single award, can they? Recently, the company has mustered a rather hefty portfolio of tropheys.
So, the RMAP then. How did they describe the Cherokee? Well, according to Mike Manley, President and CEO – Jeep Brand, Chrysler Group LLC: “…the prominent Rocky Mountain automotive journalists have recognized Grand Cherokee’s legendary capability, comfort and refinement. We’re grateful that consumers and opinion leaders continue to appreciate the premium icon of the Jeep brand.”
The 2012 Cherokee is said to behave admirable on the road and exceptionally off it. Power can come from a V6 or a V8, depending on the buyer’s choice. It’s four-wheel-drive system comes with a torque-on-demand two-speed transfer case. Other gizmos that help rock climbing include the Jeep Selec-Terrain™ system with five terrain settings and the Quadra-Lift™ air suspension system. As a bonus to all of that, it is more economical than before – up to 23 mpg overall consumption they say.

What is featured here in this 2012 Kahn Jeep Wrangler is a meshed front grill, gold finished calipers, quad exhaust system, rear wheel cover, smoked side lights and repeaters, petrol flat cap in billet mat black, mud flaps hardwearing, aluminum machined foot pedals, smoked side lights and repeaters, sat-navigation, reverse camera, blue tooth, dial facia clocks and LED driving lights and to finish it all off, the compulsory branded rear wheel cover.
Furthermore, other cutting edge technologies can be included as an option: for instance, a blank rear window sections and LED lights can be made available in bullet-proof glass; or there is also available a superior type of glass, more advanced than the sort of glass which was used to protect world statesmen.
Let’s go back to the wheels, which are always something unique in Kahn’s design language. They sit perfectly, on any vehicle, conveying the essence of the vehicle’s identity. Moreover, they are created using state-of-the art manufacturing and materials technology. The so called Kahn RS wheels are available in 9 x 20 in silver or black and fit all original centre caps.

Jeep Wrangler Mountain
The Jeep brand aims to offer only styling, functionality, craftsmanship and the highest capability. Every Jeep vehicle delivers an open invitation to all customers, who want to live life to the fullest by offering a feeling of security to handle any journey with confidence.
Fed up with the monotony of ordinary life? Unwilling to subdue to the general norms? Well, Afzal Kahn is a leading British designer and recently he has released a masterpiece which might interest you – a Wrangler Jeep Military edition. Being true to his tradition, Afzal has tried to blend mechanical perfection and aesthetic brilliance.
The end result is a lush, gray military beast which will gather attention wherever it goes. As you can see it does look like something taken out from a Terminator movie. Traces of Kahn‘s touch can be seen all around. The brake calipers for example are gold plated while the petrol flat cap is in billet mat black. The number of the exhaust pipes is now a “modest” four and so is the number of the massive mudflaps. Inside the pedals are made from aluminum, there is a sat-navigation and a reverse-view camera. The dashboard resembles a cluster of elegant clocks. Non-surprising additions are the LED driving lights at the front and the branded spare-wheel cover at the back.
If customers feel the need for greater security, the blank rear window sections and LED lights can be made out of bullet-proof glass. And if that is not satisfying enough there’s a higher grade of bullet-proof material that cannot even be found on cars of politicians and other important people.
The interior upholstery is also custom made. What we have here are red quilted leather seats but in general options are limitless – from the darkest of colors to the most extravagant tones, Afzal Kahn does it all.
To complement the flamboyant look, the Wrangler utilizes specially designed Kahn RS wheels. Made using the most up-to-date technology, forged by modern composites, these 20 inch alloys come in black or silver and fit all original center caps. With their fine lines and purposeful design those wheels radiate a sense of style matched by no other.
You can have this mechanical piece of art for the sum of 35,875.00 GBP with either diesel or petrol under the hood and both hand drives as well.
Jeep Wrangler received a new tuning package, but this time from Project Kahn. The tuning company puts some style and fashion on rough vehicles like this pure off-roader.
The upgrades include a targa roof, new headlights and side lights. The exterior is completed by big 18” or 20” rims in special design. So, the main character of the vehicle remains the same.
The interior boasts red dials and red quilted perforated leather. Project Kahn Wrangler is much cozier with the new upholstery.
Afzal Kahn, the owner of the tuning company also owns a Jeep Wrangler, so we understand his commitment to the expedition vehicle. He also said, that there will be some new vehicles in the next months, which will continue this range.

Legends are immortal and in the automotive world that is especially true for the Jeep. Wrangler, the ‘mother’ of all off-road vehicles. To customize the latest version of the American 4×4 and to make it even more exclusive STARTECH is developing an innovative and exclusive accessories program – for the short wheelbase and the new long wheelbase version.
In a first step STARTECH offers custom-tailored light-alloy wheels, some initial exterior modifications and exclusive interior options.
The polished STARTECH Monostar IV 9Jx20 light-alloy wheels attract attention at first sight. The striking five-spoke wheels lend the new Jeep. Wrangler a more exclusive appearance. But that’s not all: Mounted with sporty on- and off-road tires in size 285/50 R 20 front and back they give the SUV even more agile handling characteristics while at the same time improving driving safety.
While the STARTECH design program for the new Wrangler is still under development, the first stainless-steel components will be available shortly. Sturdy tubular side guards for short and long wheelbase models protect the rocker panels of the Jeep and partially hide the Jeep’s frame from view. The spare wheel cover with high-gloss stainless-steel ring adds the finishing touch.
The new Wrangler generation for the first time includes a model with diesel engine. The STARTECH motor engineers are currently developing the STARTECH SD 4T tuning module for the 2.8-liter (171 cu. in.) common-rail turbodiesel engine.
STARTECH sport exhausts will soon be available for all engine and body variants of the Jeep. The fully stainless-steel exhausts feature one characteristic oval chrome tailpipe each on the right and left, and produce a more sonorous engine sound, while at the same time optimizing power yield.
The interior of the Jeep can also be upgraded stylishly with STARTECH accessories: Highly polished scuff plates welcome driver and passengers, and the ergonomically shaped STARTECH sport steering wheel adds to the ambiance.
Additional customization requests can be fulfilled by the company-own STARTECH upholstery shop. Partial and fully leather interiors made from especially soft yet durable Mastik leather satisfy even the most discriminating tastes.
