Jeep Wrangler is indeed one of the most iconic vehicles ever built in the automotive history. In fact, it was practically designed to be customized. And here is where the tuners at A. Kahn Design studio step in.
They have created this unique Kahn Jeep Wrangler which has astonishing exterior including a matt grey contour and split level Targa roof. Here, the elements that have diametrically opposite functions appeal even more to customers far and wide.
The design philosophy behind this particular tuning was to be combined mechanical perfection with exterior beauty. In addition, the interior is a true masterpiece. To go further into details, in general what has been included in this project are the following features: brake calipers, colour coded side rear panels, door handles, body colour door mirrors, fuel filler cap, headlamps – smoked, horizontal LED daytime running lights, door entry sill plates in stainless steel, military smoked headlamps and side repeaters, privacy tinted glass, rear sections and rear wheel.
For instance the new Jeep front grille endows the Jeep Wrangler with the classic A. Kahn Design mind-set whilst maintaining the classic wrangler signature style. In addition, Kahn’s cross hair exhausts in stainless steel was also included in this tuning with the aim to reflect an attraction to the pluto-matic lifestyle.
Next, to make it even more perfect, the professionals have equipped the vehicle with a set of Kahn RS wheels in size 9 x 20 in smoked black which convey Wrangler’s essence and identity. They were created using state-of-the art manufacturing and materials technology and fit all original centre caps.
Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 10th Anniversary Edition is a special edition vehicle which will mark the emblematic moment ten years ago when the first Wrangler Rubicon model was introduced. Back in the days the Rubicon models were the most extreme Wranglers ever produced.
Then, in 2005 model year was introduced the Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited which brought more utility to the Rubicon’s quickly established off-road credentials. And now looking forward to the future, the 2013 model year we will see the introduction of the limited edition 2013 Wrangler Rubicon 10th Anniversary Edition.
The Jeep model will be available in two-door or four-door variant, and according to the brand is the most capable Wrangler ever produced. It is equipped with six-speed manual or five-speed automatic transmission mated to a Pentastar 3.6-liter V-6 engine. The latter generates 285 horsepower (210 kW) and 352 Nm (260 ft.-lbs.) of torque.
The one-half inch increase in ride height versus the standard Rubicon model provides the BF Goodrich KM2 265/70R17 tires more room to claw at rugged terrain. The tires are mounted on 17-inch Rubicon aluminum wheels painted satin black with polished faces and a red Jeep Wrangler “icon” logo on the outside lip.
Black front and rear steel off-road bumpers enhance the powerful presence of the vehicle. Here the front bumper includes removable end caps and winch-capable design, which help the vehicle climb obstacles without hindrance, and reduce the damage potential to the bumper system.
On the other hand, the dual-intake Power Dome hood helps aid in engine cooling. Red tow hooks adorn the front and rear, and Mopar rock rails give added protection from trail damage. A “10th Anniversary” badging can be seen on the fenders and a red-silhouette “Rubicon” decal on the sides of the hood.
As a standard the Rubicon will be equipped with Premium Sunrider soft top and as an option ca be purchased with a black three-piece Freedom hard top or body-color hard top. Available exterior colors here are Billet Silver, White and 10th Anniversary Edition-exclusive Anvil.
What about the interior – it has many special touches as well. The first thing that one sees is the striking red leather seats with “Rubicon 10th Anniversary” embroidered into the front seat backs. Of course, red stitching adorns the leather-wrapped steering wheel and the center console, to match the seats.
The final design touches include Mopar slush mats, unique axle locker and sway-bar disconnect switches and a plaque mounted in the dash tray. There is stored the important technical data: axle type and ratio, tire size, transfer case crawl ratio and manufacturer location.
2013 Jeep Wrangler Rubicion 10th Anniversary Edition can be seen in showrooms in the spring of next year.

The limited-edition 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk and 2013 Jeep Wrangler Moab models will arrive in showrooms in October.
With the London Olympics right on our front doorstep, many automotive institutions tend to relate by issuing a themed vehicle or at least a clever promotion. The guys at Kahn however would rather accent on athletes and thus release a… Chelsea Truck CJ 300 Expedition Vehicle which is a Jeep Wrangler in military green. Maybe the focus is more on the security organization around the games. (It’s actually for triathlon athletes this Jeep).
No military vehicle however can boast brake calipers dipped in liquid gold. The headlights and the indicators are smoked thus looking sleeker and yet less prominent especially in the presence of LED daytime running lights. Apparently, a lot of work has gone into modifying the front grille – there’s talk about special openings on the valance and the grille area, better airflow to the radiator, intercooler and brakes etc. Some sense of luxury in this otherwise seemingly crude vehicle is brought by the stainless steel sill plates. Then there’s the back with the Kahn enamel tailgate and the branded spare wheel cover. Kahn cross hair exhausts in stainless steel emit style and subtlety. Finally, the wheels round up the look – Smoked black Kahn RSs measuring at 9 x 20 that fit all original center caps.
Kahn CJ 300 Expedition Jeep
Inside, the seats are heated and the pedals are all aluminum with wholes in them – stylish, yet hardcore. Kahn have taken into account that you might be entering in and out of the CJ 300 with muddy boots so everything is easy to clean and non-absorbent. It’s still mainly leather though – quilted and perforated front and rear seats in black with matching stitching while the speedo and rev counter fascia is in red.
2012 Kahn Jeep Wrangler Military Copper Edition is the newest transformation delivered by the talented Afzal Kahn. Here he combined the mechanical perfection of the Jeep with an exterior beauty in copper.
It is obvious that he is keen on working with Jeep Wranglers, we have seen some great transformations by him done on this model. The current one however, is probably the most expressive one.
2012 Kahn Jeep Wrangler Military Copper Edition
This Copper Edition is characterized by new front grille industrial mesh, brake calipers finished in copper, mud flaps, side wing blades in carbon, xenon crosshair headlamps, door entry sill plates in stainless steel, Kahn enamel wing shields, fuel filler cap (smoked black), privacy glass, heated seats, floor mats, split level targa roof, aluminum machined foot pedals, Kahn enamel tailgate logo and rear wheel cover.
More cutting edge technologies can be seen on the blank rear window sections and LED lights, which can be made in bullet-proof glass according to customers wish.
Furthermore, Kahn’s cross hair exhausts in stainless steel reflects an attraction to a pluto-matic lifestyle. This means that the vehicle now is more silent than ever.
The interior of the Jeep is made exquisitely well with the craftsmanship of the tuner. This vehicle comes with front and rear seats in quilted black leather with copper stitching and a centre console, also in a copper finish. Just look at the picture below and you can get a sense of how perfect they look.
2012 Kahn Jeep Wrangler Military Copper Edition Interior
At last, the model runs on special Kahn wheels, which go along perfectly with the vehicle and even further enhance its essence. They were created using state-of-the art manufacturing and materials technology, and are in 9 x 20 size, in smoked black color.
2012 Kahn Jeep Wrangler Military Edition Restoration Project is the latest work of the talented UK based Kahn tuning team. Although the vehicle was already in exploitation for more than 70 000 miles, Afzal Kahn took the challenge to transform it. The result is as expected – outstanding!
The overall result is that this unique military grey metallic vehicle can now proudly run through the streets of any big city, where it can show-off its splendid appeal.
For this amazing new look, the Jeep had to undergo several upgrades, which include: meshed front grill, gold finished calipers, quad exhaust system, rear wheel cover, smoked side lights and repeaters, petrol flat cap in billet mat black, mud flaps hardwearing, aluminum machined foot pedals, smoked side lights and repeaters, sat-navigation, reverse camera, blue tooth, dial fascia clocks and LED driving lights. In the end all is rounded up with the branded rear wheel cover.
2012 Kahn Jeep Wrangler Military Edition Restoration Project
Furthermore, the blank rear window sections and LED lights can be made from bullet-proof glass. This of course depends on the level of protection required. The interior of this tuned Wrangler is wrapped in red. In particular – red quilted leather seats, dial fascia clocks and more elements in the same color.
And as you can see, the last touch in this restoration project is the wheels, which namely are Kahn RS wheels in 9 x 20 in black. Their unique characteristic is that they have simple clean lines, soft organic surfaces on the edge of the spoke and a purposeful mechanical centre, thus giving the military vehicle more elegant outlook.
Since the 2012 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition is already in motion, we better start off with something symbolic. That’s where the Jeep Wrangler “Dragon” design concept comes in. It’s based on the standard, Chinese spec Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon, finished in black and garnished with bronze/gold motives which are strongly associated with the Chinese dragon.
The gold/bronze details play a center role in the whole design thing (front grille slats, headlamp surrounds, the engine cover etc) but by know, you must have noticed the dragon decal that starts on the hood and runs down the driver’s side of the cabin. “Supplementary” dragons can also be found on the underside of the hood where a carbon-fiber insulator is mounted. Then there’s the gloss-black spare tire cover which also glances you with a pair of dragon eyes. As round up features for the outside, the Jeep boasts a Mopar fuel-filler cap and an aftermarket LED lighting package that includes the headlamps, fog lamps, turn signals and taillights.
This particular Wrangler sits on 18-inch five-spoke alloy wheels which are also black and have the same bronze/gold outer edge finish. They roll around humongous 35-inch off-road tires which are there to defend the dragon’s reputation – control over water, rain and winds in their severest form.
Inside, the seats are all black leather with gold/bronze piping and stitching. A laser etched dragon pattern adorns the face of the headrests. Leather, resembling the scales of a dragon, covers the outside edges of the seats and front center arm rest. The instrument panel bezels are in piano black while the steering wheel’s spokes have a bronze/gold accent. That is also true for the instrument cluster, passenger-side door dashboard grab handle and door handles. Finishing the interior modifications are the dragon tags on the front and rear floor mats.
At the heart of the dragon sits a Chrysler 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine. That means 284 bhp and 347 Nm of mythical fury. Although down on the displacement (compared to the previous 3.8-liter engine), this one has over 40 percent more horsepower and 10 percent more torque. Also, mated to an automatic transmission normally found in the Jeep Grand Cherokee, the Wrangler is more economical as well.
2012 Kahn Jeep Wrangler is an exceptional tuning, made by Kahn Designtuning company, as we all remember. Now this project is going to be further expanded by the British tuners.
In order to stay true to the philosophy it incorporates, the tuning company decided to give the Wrangler not only external and mechanical perfection, but also took responsibility for the interior of the vehicle.
As a consequence of this aim, an innovative set of Kahn sport seats for the Wrangler Jeep was born.
In details, they are available not only one variant, but in wide range of fabrics, trims and colors. Undoubtedly, these seats can make the perfect solution for people who are looking for style and comfort.
Given this wide range of outstanding designs and excessive build quality, now anyone who has a Wrangler, will have the opportunity to be unique. In particular, the seats are completed with great flexibility with built in reclining mechanisms. They can also be utilized with original seat belts.

More news for later this month’s 2012 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition. Chrysler is planning to reestablish itself as a brand on the Chinese market. To show off its determination, the company has plans to unleash these two mean looking fire-breathers as one of them, is to commemorate the year of the dragon. Which, as it turns out, is this year.
The Chrysler 300C is a design concept, compiled specifically with Chinese elements in mind. This is obviously some sort of a teasing game so not much to work with here. We see some sort of an elaborate grille job, some big wheels and a black bodywork. The interior seems to be alright, or at least all-white”. Symbols can be seen, embossed within the leather seats.
The other concept, a Jeep Warngler, is the more flamboyant of the two. It has a giant tattoo of a dragon on the front hood (and underneath as well), Chinese symbols on the fenders and hubcaps and some LED action at the front. All the while, goldish patterns serve as a contrast tool to the overall black finish and the engine cover reads “3.6 VVT”. So, we are betting on an aluminium, variable valve timed V6 that churns out 288 bhp and 359 Nm of torque.
The 2012 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition kicks off on the 23rd of April. Nothing more can be said until then.
Working together, Jeep and Mopar have prepared themselves to tackle the annual Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah – an event that has already begun and will last until April the 8th. It is being held for the 46th time and is supposed to delight the hardcore off-road enthusiasts with lots of thrills, obstacles and challenges…bumpy challenges. Mopar, being already in the business for 75 years, is now creating a division that will exclusively deal with off-road vehicles:
“Mopar is tapping into a growing trend among extreme Jeep enthusiasts who want even more power and capability on the trail,” said Pietro Gorlier, President and CEO of Mopar, Chrysler Group LLC’s service, parts and customer-care brand. “This year, Mopar is pushing the envelope in this arena by offering our customers new Pro 60 portal axles and a new HEMI conversion kit, which we will showcase in these new vehicles. In addition, to further maximize our presence in the off-road market, we are creating a Mopar Off-Road division to develop Jeep Authentic Parts and Accessories.”
Roll in the subjects then:
The Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk Concept
The Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk Concept
If you are looking for something stacked full of technology, the Cherokee is the way to go. In essence those are features found in many other off-roaders but they, Jeep call them just makes you want to have them in particuliar: Quadra-Lift™ air suspension, Selec-Terrain™ traction control system, Jeep’s Quadra-Drive® II 4×4 layout and a rear Electronic Limited-slip Differential. There are also Adventure packages available and tow/recovery hooks that have been rigorously tested with twice the weight of the Cherokee itself.
However, one does not need to know all of that in order to be convinced about the off-roadishness of the Cherokee. The Trailhawk Concept’s 5-spoke alloy wheels come wrapped with four 18-inch Goodyear Wrangler SilentArmor off-road tires – grippy on the back roads, quiet on the tarmac. Mopar rock rails further add to the off-road security.
Accessory wise, the Trailhawk showcases a Stone White bodywork with Mineral Grey and Red motives. Specifically, the grille surround, lower front applique, mirror caps and rear light bar join the wheels in Mineral Gray, while contrasting in eye-catching Red are the upper grille mesh, front and rear tow hooks, Jeep logos on wheel center caps and bolt holes in the alloy wheels.
Other minor changes include black headlamp surrounds, black exterior front and rear badging, Red “Trail Rated” badges on the front fenders and a unique “Trailhawk” badge on the rear tailgate.
2012 Jeep Wrangler Apache from Mopar
2012 Jeep Wrangler Apache from Mopar
The V8 6.4-liter HEMI engine is the highlight in this one. It’s been specially tweaked by Moper and it now delivers 470 horsepower and just as much lb-ft of torque. Initially, Chrysler Group’s W5A580 five-speed automatic transmission will have to cope with that mountain of power while later on a six-speed manual, taken from the 2012 Wrangler, will also be available.
Other performance parts on the Jeep Wrangler Apache are the Mopar Pro 60 5.13 front and rear axles, a 4.5-inch Stage 3 long arm lift kit and off-road bead-lock wheels. Aesthetic and functional modifications include high-clearance flat fenders, rock rails, front and rear half-door kits, a Stinger front bumper, a Warn 9.5ti XP winch, Katzkin leather seats, a locking center console box and a Mopar branded interior.
Jeep Mighty FC Concept
Jeep Mighty FC Concept
The Mighty FC Concept is basically a 2012 Jeep Rubicon that has had its cabin moved to the front and over the front axle. The wheelbase however, has also been extended and a drop-side cargo box has been custom made for it.
For stunning off-road feats, Moper have installed their latest Portal Axle set supervised by King coil-over assemblies (King shocks as well) and Teraflex control arms and track bars. The tires measure 40-inch each and devour the 17-inch beadlock wheels.
Other brands have pitched in the making of the Mighty as well – Hanson bumpers, a 16.5 Warn winch and stainless steel exhausts from Corsa.
Jeep J-12 Concept
Jeep J-12 Concept
The J-12 is a longer JK-8. The JK-8 is a previous project by Mopar that includes a pickup conversion kit for the Jeep Wrangler. For the base, they used a 2012 Wrangler Unlimited and by extending the frame by 18-inches, the tire could be moved under the bed floor thus making room for a six feet long cargo box. The vintage, Jeep Gladiator feel is courtesy to the custom hood and fenders.
In order to tackle rocky terrains, Mopar have fitted a three-inch suspension lift kit, as well as Teraflex sway bars controlling ARB air-locker equipped Dynatrac D-44 and D-60 axle assemblies. The 36-inch tires burrow deep into the ground, providing as much traction as possible.
The cabin follows a minimalist build with no carpets, and no bucket seats. You get a bed liner on the floor instead and a bench-like seating for two.
Mopar Accessorized 2012 Jeep Wrangler
Mopar Accessorized 2012 Jeep Wrangler
This one is simply a Wrangler, stacked with Mopar Accessories – a two-inch performance lift kit, 35-inch Goodyear Wrangler tires mounted on Classic five-hole wheels, front and rear off-road bumpers, a Warn 9.5ti XP winch, Mopar rock rails, Kicker dash 6.5-inch two-way speakers, Mopar all-weather mats and more.
Moreover, this particular one has a locking center console box, a rear cargo cubby cover, new windshield-mounted LED lamps, a new hard-top headliner and an “Add-A-Trunk” partition.
2012 Jeep Wrangler Traildozer Concept
2012 Jeep Wrangler Traildozer Concept
The Traildozer is a joint venture between Mopar, Jeep and the American Expedition Vehicles (AEV) engineering team. It has the same V8 6.4-liter HEMI that the Wrangler Apache uses (470 hp, 470 lb-ft of torque) but the gearbox is a Getrag 238 six-speed manual.
The ride is 3.5 inches higher than usual thanks to an AEV Dualsport RS suspension lift and thus it provides clearance for the 37-inch tires mounted on the Mopar Classic five-spoke wheels.
Other attributions by Mopar include a performance heat reduction hood, a half-door kit and a Mopar/Warn 9.5 Cti winch.
Jeep Wrangler Apache Concept is extremely rough off-road vehicle. It is powered by a new Mopar 6.4 liter HEMI V8.
The engine delivers 470HP (346 kW) and 637Nm (470 lb-ft) of torque. The engine is mated to a Chrysler Group’s W5A580 5-speed automatic transmission. However, a 6-speed manual gearbox will be also available.
Other highlights include Mopar Pro 60 5.13 front and rear axles, a 4.5” Stage 3 long arm lift kit and off-road bead-lock wheels. There are also high-clearance flat fenders, front and rear half-door kits, rock rails and a Stinger front bumper.
A Warn 9.5ti XP winch, a locking center console box, Katzkin leather seats, and a Mopar branded interior complete the package.
The Mopar Wrangler V8 conversion kit will be available this summer.
