Fast and Furious 6 will make its premiere on May 24, this year. This is one of the most fan appreciated movies in the world and it will feature one of our favorite cars – heavily modified Nissan GT-R.
It was prepared by R’s Tuning, who redesigned the entire cooling system. In charge of installing a new aerodynamics package is BenSopra. Third party – the SP Engineering took care of the ECM calibration and used 100 octane to generate more power.
The package includes carbon fiber doors, door sills and trims, engine cover and a cooling panel. There is also a the carbon trunk and AMS performance carbon roof. The package also contains AeroCatch flush Mount Hood pins and Sparco trunk latches. The interior is also modified, but no information is available about the touches.
An entire carbon ceramic brake kit has been installed by Weapons Grade Performance. Camber arms om R’s Tuning and the engine has received a Switzer P800 turbo kit with the necessary tuning done by SP Engineering who installed a HKS downpipe and a resonated Y-pipe.
We are eager to see the action, which this machine will provide.

We all remember Need For Speed III: Hot Pursuit. There was an interesting bonus car there – Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR AMG and we all played with it. The real version of this super sports car is now available for sale on Jameslist.com. The price is suitable for such type of car – $1,490,000, considering its rareness. Only 25 units were built, with 20 of them being coupes while the other 5 were roadsters. This particular model is #17 and has 2,401 km (1,492) on the clock. The beast is powered by a hand-built 6.9 liter V12 with 612HP (450 kW) and 775Nm (572 lb-ft) of torque. 0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 320 km/h (199 mph). The engine is mated to a 6-speed sequential gearbox. The curb weight of the vehicle is just 1,440 kg (3,175 lbs).Despite, this is a super sports car designed mostly for track days, it is a Mercedes, after all. It comes with an air conditioning, driver & passenger airbags, adjustable pedals and a premium audio system. So, if you are a fan of Mercedes and you have a spare $1.5 million, this is your vehicle.
Autocar.co.uk has released a test review of the strange Nissan Juke-R, which is claimed to be the ultimate crossover. Practically, the car is a GT-R with different body, because everything from the sports car is taken and put in the Juke.
The Juke-R is powered by a twin-turbo 3.8 liter V6 with 485HP (357 kW) at 6400RM and 588Nm (434 lb-ft) at 3200RPM. The engine is mated to a 6-speed dual-clutch gearbox enabling the car to accelerate to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds and having a top speed of 258 km/h (160 mph).
There is no doubt, that the Juke-R is very interesting, fun and spectacular, but all in all it is a marketing trick aiming to boost Nissan’s sales.
The car have been developed by Nissan and are being built by leading motorsports outfit RML with input from Nissan Technology Centre for Europe (NTC-E).
The ultimate crossover also features sport suspension, huge wheels and performance brake system. The interior is also coming from GT-R. You’ll see the same dashboard, dials, steering wheel and many more.
What are the impressions? Check in the video below.
Nissan GT-R is one of the best drag racing vehicles currently available on the market. It’s time attack qualities are also astonishing, but almost nothing can compete versus a tuned GT-R. Here, we have one of the fastest GT-Rs in the world – The Hulk. It is a creation of the United Kingdom’s tuning company Severn Valley Motorsport.
The Hulk has completely rebuilt engine with more than 1250HP (932 kW) and still it is a street legal car. The displacement of the twin-turbocharged V6 growth to 4.2 liters. It also gets two enormous GTX GT35 Garrett turbochargers, Radec Full race front mounted Intercooler, 1600 ID Injectors and many more upgrades.
The gearbox is also different as well as the chassis, the electronics, the exterior boasts a complete wide-body kit, a set of new wheels and tires and last, but not least – restyled interior.
You can check all upgrades in the list below, but until then see how easy the Hulk hits over 350 km/h (218 mph). The data was recorded by GPS data acquisition system VBOX by Racelogic, which is completely precise.

Dragtimesinfo has released another nice video, but this time two tuned bikes met each other at the race track.
The first one is Suzuki GSX-1300R Hayabusa Turbo K3 with 270HP and the second Suzuki GSX-R1000 Stage 2 with 200HP. The Hayabusa is considered to be the fastest production bike not long ago, but turbocharging its engine is just insane. Logically, it wins the start against the 1000cc bike by far. The rider of the Hayabusa had a reaction time of 0.014 seconds and 60ft for 2.084 seconds meaning a lot of wheel spin, because of all that power. However, he crossed the finish line at the 1 mile mark with 306.11 km/h and a time of 25.898 seconds (without reaction).
In the second start you will see the less powerful motorcycle – the GSX-R1000 Stage 2 versus a highly tuned Nissan GT-R MK.1 Ecutek Stage 2 with 600HP. Although, the Nissan has triple much power than the bike, it weighs eight time more, so the result is inevitable. The bike crosses the finish four seconds ahead of the car.
Check out the amazing reaction of the Hayabusa driver in the video below.

Nissan has officially confirmed the performance figures for Juke-R. The ultimate crossover has been developed by Nissan and built by leading motorsports outfit RML with advice from Nissan Technical Centre Europe (NTC-E).
Juke-R is powered by a 3.8-litre V6 twin turbo engine with 480BHP (353 kW) and 588Nm (434 lb-ft). From 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 257 km/h (160 mph). Not bad performance for a compact crossover.
The vehicle also features big 20-inch RAYS forged alloy wheels fitted with low-profile performance tires. Suspension from Nissan GT-R as well as an FIA-specification roll cage and unique split rear wing.
The interior boasts OMP race seats, all the controls and instruments from GT-R and a 7” touch-screen display is in the centre of the dashboar.
During the 22 week project, Nissan ‘opened the doors’ on the creation of Juke-R, documenting the development story from day 1 and releasing a series of 10 videos on You Tube and via the Nissan Juke Facebook page – a series which has achieved over 2.2 million views in just 10 weeks.
Today marks the release of the wrap-up video bringing together the full development story, showing the car in all its dynamic glory. The next installments are scheduled for January when the Nissan Juke-R hits the road.
Christmas is just in one week and if you still haven’t bought anything for your beloved ones or if you consider making yourself a gift, we have a good idea for you. This present is perfect for the slot car enthusiasts and will add to their vehicle fleet.
If you still haven’t got it, we are talking about the Scalextric recreation of STILLEN R35 Nissan GT-R into a slot car. The fans of the Slot Car Racing, undeniably have heard the name Scalextric. But for those who are unfamiliar, they specialize in bringing realistic vehicles to the slot car world! The great news for this year is that they have recreated the STILLEN R35 Nissan GT-R. Moreover it is done in striking details in a 1:32 scale. Another good feature about this “mini” car is that it can be modified just like the real one. For example you can change anything starting with the tires or gears, or you can even swap the motor! Check out the picture below and you will definitely see for yourself how great this slot car is!
This little STILLEN R35 Nissan GT-R will make the excellent present under the Christmas tree! And we are sure that you have already imagined it beautifully packed under the lights of the holiday tree!

The new GT-R will be even more faster with the special “Track Pack” offering some very nice goodies. Furthermore, the 2012 Nissan GT-R Track Pack is fully road legal.
The exterior modifications includes a new lightweight six-spoke RAYS alloy wheels with gloss black painted centres. The brakes receive additional cooling by ducts built into the front bumper reducing the operating temperature of the front brake discs by as much as 100 degrees during track use. Similar ducts, hidden behind the rear wheels, channel cooling air over the rear discs. With improved stopping performance, the GT-R Track Pack is even more brutal, when it is driven hard.
The suspension is also improved by revising the spring rates for optimal track use. The dampers are adjustable to offer more comfort when the car is being used on the road.
The interior boasts nice Recaro front seats trimmed with blue bolsters and an innovative high grip material. The rear seats have been removed to save weight. A “Track Pack” emblem on the centre console identifies this model as a special GT-R.
The brilliant 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 is not improved, because it already has 550PS (404 kW) at 6400RPM and 652Nm (483 lb-ft) at just 3200RPM, which is enough to stop the clock at 2.8 seconds from stand still to 100 km/h.
The Track Pack is priced at £10 000, which means that 2012 Nissan GT-R Track pack has a price tag of £84 450. The model is already available to order in 21 Nissan High Performance Centres around the UK as the first deliveries are expected in March, next year.
The reaction time in drag racing is almost as important as the power of your car, because you may have less horsepower than you opponent and still win. However, in this case, the reaction time doesn’t matter and the more powerful car is a winner with few thousandths of a second.
The epic battle is between Bugatti Veyron and highly tuned Nissan Skyline GT-R R34. The run is on one mile and as you can see in the video, the GT-R R34 is in front all the time, because of the superb reaction time and the better ¼ mile time. The power-to-weight ratio is extremely important, when the race is at ¼ mile (402.33 m)and much less, when it is on a full mile (1.609 km).
Bugatti Veyron stops the clock at 10.523 at ¼ mile with 223 km/h and 26.122 at one mile with 328 km/h, while the Skyline GT-R R34 achieved 10.426 at ¼ mile with 216 km/h and 26.154 at one mile with 311 km/h.
Bugatti Veyron is powered by a 8.0 liter quad-turbocharged sixteen-cylinder engine delivering 1001PS (736 kW) and 1250Nm (922 lb-ft) of torque.
The original Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 is powered by a2.6 L twin-turbo inline-six with 332PS (244 kW) and 392 Nm (289 lb-ft).
Here is a little, but important lesson: How to improve perfection? It is not so simply, because firstly you need 2011 Nissan GT-R, then you’ll have to add some more horsepower and torque, after that you have to set-up the chassis and transmission, and finally to add some more comfort inside the vehicle. The result is 2012 MY GT-R.
2012 Nissan GT-R is powered by the famous 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6, which now delivers 550PS (404 kW) at 6400RPM and 652Nm (483 lb-ft) at just 3200RPM.
Engine response and torque at mid and low-speeds, and power at high revolutions, has been significantly improved, mainly due to:
Improved intake efficiency
Better air flow resistance, which has been reduced by the addition of an intake manifold fitted to the head of each unit and the use of resin in the enlarged air intake duct for the intercooler.
Improved exhaust emissions efficiency and enhanced control.
Reduced air flow resistance thanks to a more compact under floor catalyser which improves emissions efficiency and reduces weight.
Improved exhaust valve cooling performance by the adoption of a newly-designed metallic sodium-filled valve. At the same time, valve control timing, the air mixture ratio and ignition timing have been improved.
The gearbox received better shift fork arm and a firmer fixing bearing for the flywheel housing. A special differential oil R35 COMPETITION Type 2189E (75W140), which was developed for competition is now used in every version of GT-R.
The body has also received some modifications – reinforcing of certain areas and improved inter-vehicle detection capability. This was achieved by changes in the positioning of the sensor and more rigid, highly-damped vehicle body, and by adding a more accurate acceleration sensor in areas with higher sensitivity in the vibration testing of each vehicle body.
More power needs better suspension with improved responsiveness, smoothness and steering feel, as well as enhanced cornering stability and riding comfort.
Inside, 2012 GT-R has blue lighting inside the tachometer ring to match the shift position indicator light, Rear View Camera device (standard) and Bose sound system woofers.
With the latest 2012MY version, the legend that is the Nissan GT-R continues to evolve.
Nissan will actually produce the ultimate compact crossover: Juke-R. The vehicle was unveiled at a Nissan Crossover media launch in Malaga, Spain. As you may suggest, the vehicle will be the world’s fastest, most innovative, crossover.
Just two versions of the Nissan Juke-R are being created, one in each of left-hand and right-hand drive. The cars have been developed by Nissan and are being built by leading motorsports outfit RML with input from Nissan Technology Centre for Europe (NTC-E). Testing of the car will begin in November.
Nissan Juke-R will be powered by the same hand-built 3.8 liter twin-turbo V6 with 523BHP (385 kW) at 6400RPM and 610Nm (452 lb-ft) of torque at 6000RPM. It is mated to a 6-speed twin-clutch automatic transmission with steering wheel mounted paddle shifters.
The ultimate crossover will also come with improved sports suspension and huge brake system by Brembo.
Stay tuned for full details about this interesting creation.
To begin with some data: ¼ mle – 11.2 seconds @ 121.8mph (196 km/h). Yep! This is 2012 Nissan GT-R or the latest “Godzilla”. There is nothing faster on the streets that you can buy for less than $90 000 or twice as much. The car is just unbelievable and a true masterpiece.
The engine is so brutal and powerful, that it manages to catapult the 1750kg body of GT-R to 100 km/h in 3.0 seconds – dead. Of course, the launch control and a brilliant 4×4 system help a lot, but everything is thanks to a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V6 with 530PS (390 kW) at 6400RPM and 612Nm (451 lb-ft) of torque between 3200 and 6200RPM. The car has a drag coefficient of 0.26. The top speed is somewhere over 313km/h (195 mph).
The thing that makes 2012 GT-R unique is that it is extremely easy to drive. You just have to put the right settings for suspension and traction control and take off.
The double-clutch gearbox changes immediately and the engine power just don’t have an end. It pulls so hard on every gear that you’ll have to take a deep breath before setting a drag time.
Too see how fast really is Nissan GT-R, you have to watch the video. Just a little clue – the GT-R is faster than the incredible Ferrari 458 Italia, which is 400kg lighter and have 40PS more than the Nissan.
