  • G-Power Introduces the Mighty BMW M6 F06 Gran Coupe

G-Power-BMW-M6-F06-Gran-Coupe-THUMBG-Power BMW M6 F06 Gran Coupe is the latest addition in the garage of the tuners. The biggest change they have made is via their G-Power Bi-Tronik, which is increasing the power output of the M6 Gran Coupe to the staggering 740 hp (544 kW) and 975 Nm (720 lb-ft) of torque. This means a power enhancement of 150 hp and 210 Nm of torque. G-Power uses individual solution for the engine thanks to which the amount of fuel and the ignition timing were modified.

Precisely, these modifications were made by a micro-processor that is patched in before the standard BMW ECU. In addition, ASA supercharger was used for the supercharger systems and the exhaust system has been substantially reworked and now feature cover catalysts replacement pipes and a Titanium exhaust system. The deep and throaty sound is what also complements the addition of this exhaust.

The increase on power also results in faster acceleration time. The figure from stand still to 200 km/h is now just 10,5 seconds and the top speed is more than 300 km/h. In terms of suspension, first to notice are the 21 inch G-Power Hurricane RR forged wheels, wrapped with Michelin tyres in the dimensions 255/30 ZR 21 and 295/25 ZR 21 for the front and rear, respectively. The handling is further improved via the continuously height-adjustable coil-over suspension GM6-RS with nine selectable settings each for bound and rebound.

Furthermore, there has been also added a new G-Power Braking System with six brake pistons and 420 mm brake disc diameter for the front axle. Additionally, the ceramic braking system reduces the unsprung mass by 50% percent, compared to a system with steel brake discs.

The interior of this BMW was also reworked entirely and now features exclusive accessories. Take as an example the ergonomically formed sports steering wheel or instruments in G-Power design, the noble carbon-leather fitments. The tuners have covered the plastic surfaces of the standard production M6 cockpit with leather or Alcantara. The visual highlights inside are the illuminated G-Power logos spread throughout the interior.

The new interior is rounded out by the addition of an exclusive multimedia entertainment system which includes audio system, electric powered iPads in the rear of the front seats, a lowerable main monitor from the headlining and an Apple iMac.

  • BMW Teases the M6 GT3 Racer

BMW-M6-GT3-THUMBBMW M6 GT3 has just been presented with couple of sketches. This means that the company will cease the Z4 GT3 racer and substitute it with the new car based on the powerful and aggressive BMW M6 Coupe. This will happen by the end of next year and the car is planned to compete in the GT racing from 2016. At the moment, the racecar is under development and its first track tests will start in the beginning of next year.

BMW specialists also reveal that the properties of the car make it predestined to succeed the BMW Z4 GT3. In addition, they also wanted to show the high product substance of BMW M cars in motorsport.

Under the hood of the M6 GT3 will be sitting an optimized version of the standard car’s 4.4-liter turbocharged V8 engine. The power output is expected to be between 500 hp and 600 hp. In addition, the chassis will also be improved for the racetrack.

Although the car will be based on the M6, it will feature a lot of lightweight components and will loose a lot of its unnecessary equipment. The weight it must achieve is between 1200 and 1300 kilograms. Furthermore, the M6 GT3 will be also equipped with a racing gearbox and ABS brakes.

  • HOT: Vilner Reveals BMW Stormtrooper

One year ahead of the premiere of Star Wars 7, the new Stormtrooper is here. The next George Lucas movie will be released in theaters next year, but the Bulgarian studio Vilner has already warmed-up the premiere with its latest project – the Stormtrooper. When you see it you will immediately understand why it carries that name. With its sparkling white color and with power hidden in its forms, the car is reminiscent of the Imperial Army troops of Darth Vader. Unlike the numerous army of Lord Vader, BMW Stormtrooper by Vilner is unique and one-of-a-kind.

Stormtrooper by Vilner is the second big project of the design studio. Nearly a year ago, the team revealed the BMW Bullshark – E63 coupe. The Stormtrooper is the convertible version of Bullshark. Both machines are subject to the same design idea, but they are very different.

This time we have a real E64 M6, while the Bullshark relies on the mechanics of the E63 645i. The front and rear bonnets, bumpers, rear fenders, and all accessories for them are also different. Only the front fenders make an exception – they are all handmade and are single units.

Typical for studio Vilner, the color combination is again non-traditional. This time the tuning specialists rely on white and brown. An emphasis is made thanks to the addition of 20 inch black wheels. The designers have further beautified them with white stripe, so that they can remind us of the ion engines of the X-Wing fighters.

The coupe is covered with three-layer white pearl paint, while the hood is decided in brown. Just like the interior. There, Vilner has used antique nappa leather and brown Alcantara. The dashboard is warped, so that it can get a tinted brown carbon. Highlights on it are the mileage-meters which are in the same color. The seat belts and iDrive controller system are in sparkling white, as well as the back of the front seats.

The decorative elements of the exterior are decided in brown mat. It covers the kidney in the pre-radiator grille, the lips under the front bumper, the doorsteps and “gills” in the front fenders. The latter are functional openings which are involved in the aerodynamics of the car. Below the doorsteps an additional spoiler is added. Just like the Bullshark, the Stormtrooper uses BMW emblems as side indicators.

The headlights are built-in LED lights and have a black base, with the beds of the lighting “bulbs” painted white. The rear taillights also rely on LEDs and send us directly into fight scenes with Star Wars’ light-sabers. Vilner judged that the 500 hp (368 kW) of the V10 engine are completely enough and did not make any changes to the engine compartment.

  • Vilner Teases an Exceptional Project Dubbed BMW Stormtrooper

Are you a fan of Star Wars movie series just like us? Well if the answer is positive than you will definitely greatly enjoy the latest project of the tuning specialists at Art Studio Vilner. And we are sure that this car will also appeal to those who aren’t familiar with the film saga. The customizing specialists have just sent us three exceptional photos of their BMW Stormtrooper. They have also disclosed that the official full reveal of the vehicle is soon to happen. Of course, the readers of automobilesreview.com will be privileged to be the first to see it.

In fact, this is the second big project that the design atelier has embarked on. The Stormtrooper, as it has been dubbed by Vilner, is a cabrio version of the last year’s BMW Bullshark. After the transformation, the ex BMW M6 (Е64) Convertible looks like the stormtroopers – the white “soldiers” in the army of Dart Vader.

Just like the BMW Bullshark, the machine was entirely restyled and refined by the designers and craftsmen of the Bulgarian studio. The result is that the team at Vilner has made some noticeable corrections to the donor car, which has also lot of differences with Bullshark.

  • Fostla.de Transforms BMW M6 Convertible

BMW-M6-Convertible-by-Fostla-THUMBFostla.de is a tuning company based in Germany which specializes in foil-wrapping and which is now taking it hands on the BMW M6 Convertible. The tuners have improved the model in terms of exterior appearance and styling, thus making it even more desirable and individual.

The car has been almost fully foiled in matte PWF Yellow color. Only the bonnet, front spoiler lip and parts of the exterior mirrors have been decided in black Monza carbon, in order to make the perfect contrast to the yellow and to deliver more sports-sensation.

A tint technique of 5% has been applied to the windows as well as to the headlights, taillights and indicator signals. More importantly is that this BMW received a power upgrade via an optimization of the motor control. The result is that the pwertrain now manages to generate 537 hp (395 kW) and a 545 Nm (402 lb-ft) of torque.

This increase of power also means a faster acceleration time. The enhanced M6 sprints from 0 to 100 km/h for only 4.30 seconds on its way to a top speed of 300 km/h. To make this result possible, a contribution are also making the set of Race GTR rims Breyton in the dimensions 9×22 ET30 at the front and 11.5 x 22 ET30 at the rear. They were combined with 25mm-SCC spacers and fitted with appropriate tires.

The M6 has been lowered by 25 mm via the utilization of H&R lowering springs. Finally, this M6 received a brand new race sports exhaust system delivered by Eisenmann. It comes with four oval tailpipes in 120×77 mm and has an engraved Eisenmann logo.

  • Manhart Show Off The MH6 700 BMW M6

Manhart-MH6-700-BMW-M6-shadowManhart-MH6-700-BMW-M6-mediumManhart have finally unveiled their MH6 700 BMW M6. It has been out, actually, ever since the 46th Essen Motor Show opened its doors earlier this month. Funny how some manage to slip under the radar.

The M6’s original 4.4-liter V8 with its 560 hp is in no way a slouch, but Manhart have gone the extra… several miles and amped the power up to 734 hp (because who cares about consistent naming, MH6 700?) and 953 Nm. Essentially, that means ECU tweaking, a carbon-air-intake-system and a completely new exhaust system with downpipes, sports catalytic converters and rear silencers with 100-millimeter end-pipes. Manhart say that the end result is a BMW so powerful that it is actually hard to estimate a 0 to 60 time since there’s little to no grip off the line. We don’t know how that’s a plus. Acceleration from 60 to 120 gets done in 6.3 seconds though. The top speed stands at 199 mph.

In an attempt to tame all that power, Manhart have provided a compression- and rebound-adjustable KW coilover kit. The massive Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires – measuring 265/30ZR21 at the front and 305/25ZR21 at the back – should be of help as well.

The visual treat that is the MH6 700 M6 is courtesy to the company’s Concave ONE wheels. You may have noticed that there’s also a front spoiler, a new engine hood with big vents on it, a diffusor at the back and a trunk-lid spoiler. Every bit of that kit is carbon fiber. This specific vehicle has a very subtle Manhart “seal of approval” so to speak on each of its sides. It’s an embossing effect on the full-body aluminum metallic wrap.

The tuners at BBM Motorsport weren’t stopped by these facts and embarked on a project with the aim to make more powerful the exclusive M6.

The result is astounding; the M6 now delivers the following performance values: 705 horsepower (518 kW) at 6.100 to 7.200 rpm and 864 Nm (638 lb0ft) of max torque. This means an addition of 145 hp and (107 kW) and 184 Nm (136 lb-ft) of torque. In addition, the exhaust system features carbon fiber end pipes.

In terms of suspension, there has been installed a KW suspension set in order to maintain the “dynamic damping control” (DDC). This BMW was also equipped with Breyton Spirit R 21” rims. • BMW M6 G-Power vs Alpina B6, GT-R AMS Alpha 12+, Cayenne Turbo S, M6 ESS

Dragtimesinfo has published a video – BMW M6 G-Power SKIII with 750HP making several starts versus Alpina B6 with 540HP, Nissan GT-R AMS Alpha 12+ with 1500HP, BMW M6 ESS VT3+ with 950HP and Porsche Cayenne II Turbo S with 550HP.

The first start is against the B6, which set personal absolute record on ¼ mile – 12.807 seconds, but it wasn’t enough to beat the 210HP more powerful M6 G-Power, which finished the 1 mile race in 30.499 seconds with 282 km/h.

The second start is versus the mighty Alpha 12+, which obviously won the race, but the information in the end is wrong (they switched the tables for M6 ESS and the GT-R). So, the GT-R finished in 27.245 seconds with 342 km/h terminal speed, which is pretty slow time, while the M6 G-Power needed 29.930 seconds with 292 km/h.

In the third race, the Cayenne II Turbo S stopped the clock at 32.453 seconds with 252 km/h, which is pretty good for a big SUV. What is more, it was driven by a lady – Olga G.

The last start is against the mighty M6 ESS VT+, which finished in 28.358 seconds with 303 km/h, while the M6 G-Power needed 29.930 seconds with 291 km/h terminal speed, which is personal absolute record on 1 mile.
