2012 Mercedes CLS Black Bison received unique tuning package from Wald International. The car is just staggering and we can’t wait to see it in action.
The exterior is finished in black and boasts complete aerodynamics package consisting of a new front bumper, a new rear bumper and a pair of side skirts. There are also daytime running LED lights, new front fenders and a new boot lid spoiler.
The wheels are finished in matte black to complete the aggressive vision.
CLS Black Bison is based on CLS 63 AMG, so it comes with the new 5.5 liter V8 Bi-turbo engine delivering 525PS (386 kW) and 700Nm (516 lb-ft). 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds and top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph). However, the engine can be boosted with the AMG Performance package, which adds another 33PS (24 kW) and 100Nm (84 lb-ft). The top speed is 299 km/h (186 mph).

Carlsson have been making tuning package for Mercedes-Benz for more than fifteen years. Now, it is turn to Mercedes-Benz GL Grand Edition, which received styling and performance upgrades. The name of the project is CGL45.
The wide-body kit includes a new front spoiler with integrated LED day time running lights, a chrome grille, flared wheel arches, a new rear apron, which houses quad-pipes from the stainless-steel sport exhaust system.
The vehicle ride is lowered with 30 mm with an intelligent suspension-lowering system. CGL45 stands on enormous 22” alloy wheels fitted with 305/35 ZR22 high-performance tires.
Performance packages are available for the 3.0 liter V6 diesel, which is pumped up to 310PS (228 kW) and 700Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque and the powerful GL500 featuring V8 engine, which produces 435PS (320 kW) and 600Nm (442 lb-ft).
The interior boasts leather and Alcantara upholstery, wood or stainless-steel trims, aluminum foot pedals, door sills with Carlsson logo as well as the headrests.
Mercedes-Benz S 350 BlueTEC is now fitted with ECO start/stop as standard making it even more efficient than before. To be more precise – 10%, which means 45.6 mpg on the combined cycle while CO2 emissions have been reduced by 7% to 164 g/km.
So, the S 350 BlueTEC is the first model, which meets EU 6 regulations, which will come into effect in the UK until 2014.
S 350 BlueTEC is powered by a 3.0 liter V6 diesel with hefty 258PS (190 kW) and 620Nm of torque. 0 to 60 mph in 7.1 seconds and has a limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).
“The Mercedes still reigns supreme…what sets it apart is the astonishingly comfortable ride, it is the most relaxing saloon in the business. Nothing can match the S-Class’s imperious refinement and the array of gadgets help make this car one of the safest and most hi-tech models money can buy,” commented Auto Express, Acting Editor, Graham Hope.
In addition to its BlueTEC technology, the S 350 BlueTEC also enjoys the full benefits of Mercedes-Benz innovative range of bespoke BlueEFFICIENCY economy-boosting measures.
The S 350 BlueTEC rides on low rolling resistance tires having a 10% improvement, while still retaining good handling and braking characteristics.
The vehicle also comes with a smooth under body panelling, allowing the car to cleave cleanly through the air at speed thanks to reduced aerodynamic drag and lower wind resistance.
Mercedes-Benz has released some Interior pictures of the upcoming 2012 B-Class. The manufacturer will put high-quality materials and some additional extras in the hatchback.
There will be various cabin finishes and the dashboard is available in stitched ARTICO man-made leather like in the S-class. Good!
The steering wheel in all Benzes was awful, but we like the new three-spoke one, which is borrowed from the CLS. The instrument cluster panel is made up of four analogue dials with two small ones on the inside bottom-right of the speedometer and tachometer.
2012 B-Class was designed at Mercedes-Benz’s Advanced Design Studio in Como, Italy, so we expect Italian perfection, which will take the “compact class to a whole new level”.
The 2012 B-Class will be showcased at the 2011 Frankfurt auto show in September and hits the market Europe in November.
Carlsson has announced the new tuning program for the Mercedes S Class type W221. It includes both performance and styling packages.
The Carlsson Mercedes S600 L is powered by V12 bi-turbo engine tuned to 600PS (441 kW) and 1024Nm of torque. The result is thanks to an ECU re-map, a sports air filter and a sport exhaust system. 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds and top speed of 320 km/h (199 mph).
Carlsson also offers tuning programs for all engine of the flagship, including V6,V 8, and V12 cylinder power units, together with the diesel models. The most powerful Carlsson Mercedes S63 AMG boasts whopping 685PS (504 kW).
The aerodynamics package includes a front spoiler lip featuring the tuner’s logo, electro-polished stainless steel front grille inserts, side skirts, a rear apron and spoiler.
The Mercedes S Class from Carlsson stands on the C-Tronic SUSPENSION that lowers the ride height by 30 mm and 20” light alloy wheels fitted with high-performance Dunlop tires.
The interior boasts leather upholstery and illuminated door sills.
Mercedes-Benz has announced the most powerful and brutal C-class, ever. The C 63 AMG Coupe Black Series boasts 517PS (380 kW) and 620Nm (460lb–ft) of torque. This is a 29PS more than a C 63 AMG equipped with performance package.
The performance is breath-taking: 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds and top speed somewhere beyond 300 km/h (without speed limiter). Furthermore, the 6.2 liter naturally aspirated V8 need just 12.2 litres per 100 km on combined cycle and emits 286 g/km of CO2. So, you can have an economical super sports car. Great!
The engine is mated to the well-known AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 7-speed sports transmission, which has four modes. The double-declutching function and RACE START promise maximum motoring pleasure and a high degree of variability.
“AMG has its roots in international motorsport. The new C 63 AMG Coupé Black Series is the best proof there is for the permanent transfer of technology from the race track to the road. The numerous successes in the DTM, the customer sports range featuring the SLS AMG GT3 and our commitment to Formula 1, where we have been providing the Official F1TM Safety Car and the Official F1TM Medical Car for the past 15 years, continuously spur on our engineers and technicians. The C 63 AMG Coupé Black Series embodies the new AMG brand claim, Driving Performance, like no other AMG model,” said Ola Källenius, the CEO of Mercedes-AMG GmbH.
Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Coupe Black Series Front
The C 63 AMG Black Series comes with a greater track width and with enormous tires – 255/35 R 19 and 285/30 R 19 mounted on 9.0J x 19” and 9.5J x 19” wheels, respectively. The alloys are finished in titanium grey.
The 3-stage ESP offers the ideal solution for all driving situations: via the ESP button the driver can choose from the “ESP ON”, “Sport Handling Mode” and “ESP OFF” stages.
The ABS system has been completely retuned and the AMG high-performance braking system has also been redeveloped. At the front axle you’ll get 390 x 36 millimetres brake rotors and integral discs at the rear axle 360 x 26 mm. Red-painted 6-piston fixed callipers at the front and 4-piston fixed callipers at the rear reliably decelerate the perforated, fade-resistant brake discs, which are ventilated all round.
The interior matches to the exterior – black with red highlight elements, displaying the functional atmosphere of a true racing vehicle, whilst at the same time positively glowing with high quality and lovingly crafted details. The steering wheel is wrapped in Nappa leather and features aluminium shift paddles for manual gear changes. There are also red seat belts and red contrasting topstitching on the steering wheel, on the seats, door centre panels, armrests on the doors, the centre console and on the shift lever gaiter add some interesting highlights. An exclusive “Black Series” logo adorns the trim on the dashboard, which sports a high-gloss black piano-lacquer look.

The new 2012 Mercedes-Benz M-Class is set to have its official debut at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show. However, the premium manufacturer has released full details and specification about the new SAV.
By “new” we don’t mean entirely redesigned model, but a slight facelift, which practically is the old M-Class, but with bigger taillights and interesting headlights. The highlights worth mentioning include a new front grille, new wheel designs from 17” to 21” as the biggest come with AMG badge. The improvements are present, still, we think that the rear lights are directly taken from BMW E61 (the previous 5-Series touring). It is tough to create something new and different these days, but this is Mercedes! If they don’t have the designers and the engineers to create a real new SAV, nobody can’t.
2012 Mercedes-Benz M-Class – Back
The interior is something different. The cabin is way better than the previous model and now feature higher quality materials and a lot of wood. Yes! The dashboard came directly from the S-Class, so we love it. The center console is wider and has some aluminum elements. The updated COMAND system is also present and as an option, you can order panoramic sunroof. Nice!
2012 Mercedes-Benz M-Class – Interior
As you may suggest, the engines are brilliant. The entry level is ML 250 BlueTec with 2.1 liter four-cylinder diesel delivering hefty 204PS (150 kW) and 500Nm (369 lb-ft). The more powerful diesel – ML 350 BlueTec comes with a 3.0 liter V6 with 258PS (190 kW) and 619Nm (457 lb-ft). The performance is brutal – 0 to 100 km/h for 7.5 seconds and top speed of 224 km/h. Excellent for SAV.
The petrol engine is in ML 350 BueEfficiency with a 3.5 liter V6 with 306PS (225 kW) and 370Nm (273 lb-ft). The top speed is 235 km/h and 0 to 100 km/h takes 7.6 seconds.
All engines come with a 7G-Tronic automatic gearbox delivering the power to an all-wheel drive system.
The new M-Class has a selective damping suspension, while the Airmatic self-leveling air suspension and an Active Curve System with dynamic roll stabilization is available as an option. The SAV equipped with this will be a pleasure to drive.
The safety is at extemely high level – Night View Assist Plus including pedestrian recognition, Speed Limit Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Assist, Active Park Assist and Distronic Plus and some other intersting systems.
The price is not announced, yet!
