Wide range of design upgrades and features is ready for the Continental GT family. In addition, the Continental GT W12 model now has an increased power output, improving its performance and efficiency. Besides this, it was also announced that the Flying Spur will offer even more bespoke luxury experience, focusing on powertrain development, on-board technology and interior comfort. Of course, the new models will be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show and wll go on sale this summer. Nevertheless, we managed to get some pictures before the big reveal, which you can see below.

V8 S and GT Speed models get new rear diffuser design. New wheels of 20” and 21” designs have been added to the range.Three new exterior colours are available: Marlin – a rich metallic blue, Camel – a soft golden tone, and Jetstream -a light, bright metallic blue.

In addition, Mulliner Driving Specification gets tightened, “small-diamond” quilting pattern. The center console features refreshed look and the new interior is now illuminated by LEDs. Two new leather colours, Shortbread and Camel, join the Continental range for the new model year.

Under the hood of the Continental GT W12 the new customers will find three changes to the mighty 6.0-litre twin turbo W12 powertrain. Firstly, the engine receives a power and torque increase. They have grown from 575 hp (423 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) to 590 hp (434 kW) and 720 Nm (531 lb-ft). Secondly, this update is accompanied by improvements to fuel economy of up to 5%. And at last, this leads to lower CO2 emissions of 329 g/km.

The Flying Spur has also been updated via the 20” six-tri-spoke or seven-twin-spoke wheels, refined interior style and usability, new paint colours in the hues of Marlin, Camel and Jetstream for the exterior, as well as the addition of Shortbread and Camel for the interior. The W12 engine gains more power resulting in 625 hp (460 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft), but it is more efficient and with greater grand touring capability thanks to the variable displacement system.

  • Mansory Creates 50 Exclusive Bentley Continental GT/C Editions

Mansory Edition 50 is a limited edition parts kit intended for only 50 units of Bentley GT or GTC. The kit itself adds subtle modification, but still it strengthens the luxury characteristics of the car. The stylish bodywork modification sets consists of several design tweaks that need some thorough attention. Looking at the front of this beautiful Bentley, we immediately see a newly designed apron with integrated LED lights. In addition, the new contribute to the powerful and muscular stance of the car.

At the sides, the car definitely looks better thanks to its new Mansory-made side skirts. Continuing with the rear, the one-of-fifty Bentley can show-off with rear spoiler lip and a rear apron with diffuser insert and matching stainless steel exhaust tips.

As you can see nothing looks pretentious or ostentatious and this was Mansory’s goal and the components were effortlessly added to the standard production bodywork. The kit is rounded off by entrance panels with an illuminated logo and number signifying the limited edition.

Mansory made each of these components from carbon fibre via a traditional way using the material in an autoclave. In this process, the carbon sheets are put into moulds and hardened in an autoclave under high pressure at high temperature. The results are the following: improved acceleration, stopping distances and the fuel consumption due to the weight reduction of the car.

At last, wee can’t go by the wheels, which are also in-house-made. They are in double-spoke format and are fitted with low profile tyres. Cheers to this project Mansory!

  • Bentley Continental GT drag – 3,000HP

Bentley Continental GT with over 3,000HP (2,237 kW)? Of course, if you are a 48-year-old watch repairer, who obviously likes drag racing. Steve Neimantas from Yorkshire, UK spent 250,000 to convert the grand tourer into a drag racing beast.

The modified car is powered by a 10.2 liter V8 engine from Chevrolet equipped with two enormous turbochargers. The result is the whopping 3,000HP, which will be enough to catapult the Bentley from stand still to the finish line of ¼ mile in less than 7.0 seconds.

Of course, the conversion is not only installing the engine, but a super-huge rear wheels with drag tires, tiny front wheels to save weight, a roll-cage not only for safety, but for strengthening the chassis, a lot of carbon fiber elements and a parachute at the rear to stop somehow.

Bentley Continental GT drag can be be seen in action this weekend during the 1st round of the European Drag Racing Championship organized at the Santa Pod Raceway. The car will take place participate in the Street Eliminator class that includes only street legal cars.

  • DMC Impress With Bentley Continental GT DURO China Edition

DMC-Bentley-GT-DURO-China-Edition-shadowDMC-Bentley-GT-DURO-China-Edition-mediumDMC have a weakness for British exotics, and their latest revelation seems to support that. It’s a Continental GT called the DURO on the streets of China. Hence, the China Edition tag as well.

To start off, there’s a really cool bumper at the front. It fits all models from 2012 on. With it the Continental is 2-inches longer than it would normally be. A closer inspection should reveal a pair of daylight running LEDs as well. Moving on to the side view, we find new side skirts that are actual winglets. They work for us visually, but are they any good in improving the aerodynamics. DMC seems to think so. The rear bumper is also new: more muscular, carbon fibery, it’s supposed to really leave an impression. The carbon fiber diffuser bellow adds even more downforce. Let’s not forge to mention the diamond-forged 22-inch rims all wrapped in 295/25R22 tires. Compared to the silvery paint of the China Edition, these wheels with their matte black finish look like black wholes ready to suck you in.

It’s not all show and no go though. Well, it never was (it’s a Continental GT for goodness sake), but GMC have added even more power. Because of the titanium exhaust system, the sport air filters and the optimized electronics, the DURU’s power output has been rated at 672 hp and 780 Nm of torque. DMC’s estimates on the 0 to 60 acceleration read 4.5 seconds. The new top speed: 202 mph. Ouch!

  • Bentley Continental GT3 Race Car – Full Specs

Bentley has revealed full specs of their new Continental GT3 Race Car makings its official appearance at the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed today. The racing machine is set to explore the extreme potential of Bentley’s iconic Grand Tourer, the Continental GT.

The Continental GT3 is powered by a race-prepared and dry-sump version of Bentley’s powerful but efficient 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 – 600HP (441 kW). Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a carbon fibre propshaft to an Xtrac 6-speed sequential gearbox with a limited slip differential, mounted as a transaxle for optimised weight distribution. Gear actuations are completed via a pneumatic shift system, controlled by paddles mounted to the steering wheel.

Bentley Continental GT3 Race Car comes with a 4-way adjustable racing dampers, hydraulic power-assistance steering, ventilated iron discs combined with 6-piston calipers on the front and 4-piston calipers on the rear.

The exterior boasts a comprehensive aerodynamic package , to maximise downforce with optimised drag. It includes a top-mounted carbon fibre rear wing, a carbon fibre splitter, new front bonnet, bumpers, fenders and sills.

With the removal of the leather and wood interior trim, the production electrical systems and advanced refinement materials that make the Continental GT such a capable Grand Tourer, the Continental GT3 weighs in under its target of 1300 kg. Despite the race-specification, the GT3 remains a hand-crafted Bentley, with the steering wheel, door pulls and seat all hand-trimmed and stitched by Bentley craftspeople at Crewe.
