    2018 Aston Martin DB11 AMR

This machine comes with greater power, compared to the old DB11 and features tons of new features. For example, the heart of the beast is a 5.2-liter V12 engine that develops a total of 630hp and 700Nm of torque. It is a bit more powerful than the usual DB11 and sprints from 0 to 100km/h in 3.7 seconds. Not bad. Not bad at all!

  • The Vulcan gets even mightier: check out this bad boy!

2017 Aston Martin Vulcan AMR ProYou do know what happens when a volcano erupts? Indeed, it is a rather fascinating and beautiful sight. And also quite a dangerous one! It is the same with the man-made volcano. More precisely, with the Aston Martin Vulcan: this is the most advanced and most powerful Aston Martin machine produced to date. We have stated many times that it is as ravenous and as brutal as a real volcano itself.

But guess what: Aston Martin team decided to take the technology to the next level! The mighty Vulcan receives a special and super-exclusive upgrade that adds not only to the performance superiority, but also enhances the overall luxurious feel and super-sexy looks. Making its debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, Aston Martin AMR Pro Sports (like it needs additional explanation along with the menacing appearance) showcases incredible aerodynamic improvements, updated drivetrain system and enhanced agility. So, let’s check all these in detail!

    Exterior changes

2017 Aston Martin Vulcan AMR Pro

Menacing. This is the one word that is just enough to describe the appearance of the vehicle. However, we will say some more thing. It is worth it, believe us!

As you know, the Vulcan is beautiful by default – with its sleek lines, low profile and super-aggressive front face, there is no chance that this vehicle is not instantly recognized as one of the sexiest in the planet. The cool thing is that this additional upgrade does not change the looks, it builds on them.

2017 Aston Martin Vulcan AMR Pro

There are fresh new louvred panes just above the front wheel arches, drive planes to each side of the nose and a large front splitter. Sweet. All these additions not only contribute to better aerodynamics and improved downforce ratio, but also look super sexy – we do like ‘em. The rear-end has also deserved some special attention: there is a new larger wing that features a 20mm “Gurney” flap. This is a special upstand that further enhances the downforce.

SEE ALSO: 2017 Vanquish Zagato Volante: too much refinement is never enough

We are also impressed by these neat and elegant carbon-fiber components: just check out the air intakers. Smooth, aren’t they? And these neat front-end curves? Aston Martin team knows how it’s done. For sure!

    Performance rates

2017 Aston Martin Vulcan AMR Pro

All these additions and changes contribute to some titanic numbers: because of the massive increase in downforce, the revised Vulcan generates a total of 4000Nm. Definitely impressive: especially after comparing these rates to the 3104Nm, generated by the 2017 Vantage GTE at the Le Mans race. Furthermore, the exclusive pack shifts the balance and moves it a bit forward: this changed center of pressure further improves traction, steering response and grip of the front wheels. Sweet.

    Additional features

2017 Aston Martin Vulcan AMR Pro

One of the best things is that owners can still benefit from the comprehensive Aston Martin driver training program. It is not part of the technical overview of the vehicle, but we do presume that such a training is a must, provided that this is one of the most powerful track vehicles ever created.

Furthermore, the owners have the chance to participate in exclusive driving events, held in some of the most famous circuits: Circuit of the Americas in USA, Sa-Francorchamps in Belgium, Yas Marina in Abu Dhabi and of course, Aston Martin’s personal Silverstone track.

2017 Aston Martin Vulcan AMR Pro

The lucky customers have participated in exclusive driving events held at some of the world’s best Formula One circuits, including Circuit of the Americas in the USA, Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium, Yas Marina in Abu Dhabi and, naturally, Aston Martin’s home circuit, Silverstone. By enhancing its already prodigious capabilities the Aston Martin Vulcan AMR Pro offers customers the chance to further develop their driving skills and enjoy an even more intense driving experience.

The lucky vehicle is a DB11 unit with a massive V12 5.2-liter power unit. In fact, this is one of Aston Martin’s flagship models that produces titanic amounts of power. But it was not enough to impress the fine gentlemen at Wheelsandmore. The team had taken a closer look at the engine and made some changes here and there that altogether rise the total output to 700Nm of torque and 608hp (453kW).

Further drivetrain additions and upgrades include a new valve-flap controlled exhaust components and sporty catalytic converters. And as expected, completely in the style of Wheelsandmore, there is also an exclusive tuning software that pushes the engine beyond its limits. Long story short, this thing is powerful.

    2017 Wheelsandmore Aston Martin DB11

And what about looks? We all admire Aston Martin brand both for its powerful and near-perfect drivetrain systems and the perfect design. And we must admit that the DB11 is one of the sexiest vehicles in the world at this point. And what is interesting is that there are people who still believe that an already beautiful design can become even more appealing. This is where Wheelsandmore team outshines the others.

These luxurious forged multipiece wheels are exclusively produced by hand and quality-approved in Germany and can be ordered either in 21- or 22-inches in diameter.

  • 2017 Vanquish Zagato Volante: too much refinement is never enough

2017 Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato VolanteAston Martin proudly announces the partner of the Vanquish Zagato Coupe: Vanquish Zagato Volante. This sweetheart will accompany the North American debut of the Coupe model and will be strictly limited to just 99 vehicles. Created at Aston Martin’s headquarters in Gaydon, England, Volante has a lot to demonstrate.

Overwhelming customer interest and positive feedback

Zagato Volante is a fine creation from a collaboration of almost 60 years. As you might know, everything started with the 1960 DB4 GT Zagato race car and throughout the years there were new and worthy additions: DB7 Vantage Zagato of 2002, 2011 V12 Vantage Zagato and now, the most recent to date is the Zagato Coupe, announced earlier this year.

SEE ALSO: Top 5 facts you don’t know about Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Concept

In fact, there were also previous convertibles Zagato models: we immediately think of the striking V8 Vantage Volante, first shown back in 1987 and the DB AR1 back in 2003. The last one, the DB AR1 was also limited to 99 units and is considered to be one of the finest collectable models worldwide. And as it looks like, Aston Martin team continues the tradition to strike our minds with unique style and quality.

    More in-detail

2017 Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Volante

Vanquish Zagato Volante is expected to be a mighty addition to the lineup: embodying Aston Martin’s refined taste and meticulous attention to detail, Zagato is expected to deliver 592hp (444kW) and have an acceleration rate, measured at 3.7 seconds for a run from 0 to 100km/h (62mph).

    Exterior tweaks

In terms of exterior styling, Volante shares the same proportions as the Coupe: definitely an instant-recognizable Aston Martin vehicle, this one also has this classic Zagato twist with round tail light reflectors and the same bladed LED technology as in the Vulcan supercar. We see neat twin cowls on the rear deck that blend into the leading edge of the luggage compartment, concealing a folding hood and cool carbon-fiber sills around the lower body to add that boost to the sporty appearance and performance. We tend to like this design.

    Interior

2017 Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Volante

Of course, we expect nothing, but the finest, as it comes to comfort and quality of an Aston Martin vehicle. Brand’s specialist ‘Q’ division adds luxurious and stylish components that include herringbone carbon-fiber, anodized bronze detailing and fine Bridge of Weir leather. Of course, we expect that there would be tons of personalization features, but what we also know so far is that the Volante will offer 100% Aston Martin driving experience, blended with new-age technologies. Cool.

  • Have you ever heard of hypercars? Aston Martin and Red Bull Racing have already revealed one!

2018 Aston Martin Red Bull Racing AM-RB 001 Aston Martin and Red Bull Racing revealed a stunning vehicle: a so-called hypercar, the AM-RB 001. The collaboration process between the British luxury brand and the F1 team combined the skills and passion of two world-leading manufacturers to deliver us a machine that we have not seen before.

Geared with a lightweight carbon fiber structure, the AM-RB 001 demonstrates a sort of radical aerodynamic solutions, incredible levels of downforce and definitely a pure racing styling. We see some notable Aston Martin shapes and curves, but this is definitely a vehicle far more distinctive that anything the British manufacturer has presented so far.

2018 Aston Martin Red Bull Racing AM-RB 001

AM-RB 001 will be built by David King and his fellow teammates at Gaydon, in Aston Martin’s facility, where their original hypercar, the One-77 was built. We still don’t know much about machine’s performance, but what we know is that the engineers have brought us a vehicle with mid-mounted and high-revving V12 power unit with the capability of achieving a 1:1 power-to-engine-ratio and 1bhp per kilo of weight. Sounds good, right?

Also, in order to cope with extreme aerodynamic loading at high speeds and to deliver the on-road flexibility and comfort at the same time, AM-RB 001’s suspension will come with some special technology and will adopt the principles honed by Newey over his 3-decade career. We expect something similar to be incorporated in the transmission.

2018 Aston Martin Red Bull Racing AM-RB 001

What is also expected from the alliance is that there will be between 99 and 150 road-legal units produced at total and only 25 track-only prototypes. First deliveries are scheduled for 2018.

  • 2017 Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Coupe: fine style and unneeded changes

2017 Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Aston Martin announces a limited lineup of the Vanquish Zagato Coupe. As the name suggests, the premium automobile brand keeps in touch with its Italian design-house Zagato and together they bring something special. Or, at least, they try to make it special.

We know that Aston Martin delivers only high-end vehicles, but we also know that everything should have a limit: even the trial to make something look even better than it should be. But let’s check out the vehicle first, shall we?

Vanquish Zagato Concept was first revealed at the prestigious Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este at Lake Como, Italy back in May, 2016. And since this glorious moment, the customer interest has greatly risen up and Aston Martin team decided to deliver more of these. To be precise, there will be 99 Zagato Coupes built at the production facility in Gaydon, England.

As you might know, this is the fifth model to emerge from the collaboration: Aston Martin Zagato Coupe will join the 1960 DB GT Zagato Racing, 1886 V8 Vantage Zagato, 2002 DB7 Vantage Zagato and the 2011 V12 Vantage Zagato. Cool.

So, what does the Zagato Coupe offer?

    2017 Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato

Vanquish Zagato comes with Aston Martin’s powerful 6.0-liter V12 unit that has undergone some slight refinements and now offers a total of 600hp (447kW) or, in other words, this beauty accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in mere 3.5 seconds.

Also, in terms of drivetrain system, the special vehicle comes with exclusively fine-tuned suspension that delivers a sort of GT driving experience. Not bad. But the question remains: is this titanic power needed, as we are talking about a street-legal machine?!

    Design

    2017 Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato

Let’s be honest here: the vehicle is beautiful. Overall. I don’t like the styling at the back, but generally the Vanquish Zagato gives off a sense of power, passion and precision.

SEE ALSO: Aston Martin meets summer with some fresh offerings. Check them out!

Detail highlights include numerous carbon-fiber components, redesigned rear lights with the same bladed LED technology, used for the Vulcan. Furthermore, Zagato’s rear somehow resembles DB11’s, but is uglier. The whole rear design contributes to better aerodynamics, but I find it ugly. Also, the sporty-looking rear is completed with a retractable spoiler and a rear hatch for easy access to the luggage compartment. But it remains ugly.

    Interior design

    2017 Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato

Vanquish Zagato welcomes all the drivers to a neatly created interior ambience. The well-known Aston Martin quality is present, along with some changes done by Zagato designers. The carbon-fiber elements are paired with sweet bronze details and along with the fine leather create a rather cozy and comfortable atmosphere. Of course, there is neat Zagato Z stitch pattern on the door section and on the seat that further enhances the feel of exclusivity.

    2017 Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato

So far, so good. Remaining true to its Aston Martin roots, the new Vanquish Zagato also benefits from the fine Italian style and brings high doses of pleasure and excitement. Definitely a worthy family member, the new Vanquish Zagato vehicle stands comfortably along the whole Aston Martin Zagato lineup.

  • Top 5 facts you don’t know about Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Concept

Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Concept front view Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Concept has debuted this weekend at the prestigious Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, held at Lake Como. So you have probably heard the big talk around it. However, this car is so uniquely beautiful and one-of-a-kind, that there are probably some facts you have missed during the clamor. Here are our top five facts you don’t know about the new concept.

    Five is Emblematic Number

I’m not being superstitious, but the number five is definitely a meaningful number about the Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Concept. The first and more obvious reason about it is that it is the fifth car born after the collaboration between the British experts at Aston Martin and the Italian design-house Zagato.

On second place, the long-standing partnership between the two companies have lasted (well not 5) over five decades, delivering successful designs and unforgettable emotions to the fans.

The Key in the Design is the Avant-Garde Expression Based on Tradition

Just take a look at the pictures in the gallery below. We must admit that the car looks breath-taking. Its secret is the combination of the acclaimed sporting and dynamic design made by AM, and the material qualities with Zagato’s signature design language.

SEE ALSO: Aston Martin Releases Special Vantage S Blades Edition

All five Zagatos have been inspired by tradition: from the emblematic DB4 GT Zagato of 1960 through to the V12 Vantage Zagato of 2011. Each and every one of them has accentuated key aspects of Aston Martin’s design journey and Zagato’s own race-inspired design language. The goal of both companies was always to deliver the most avant-garde expression. And they definitely did.

The Team Behind the Latest Concept

The latest Vanquish Zagato Concept was actually created by Aston Martin Design team led by Marek Reichman and Andrea Zagato and his design team in Milan. However, the development and engineering happened at Aston Martin’s headquarters in Gaydon, England.

The Proper Use of Carbon Fiber & New Technology

Most companies rely on slight use of carbon fiber. Despite this, the concept’s bodywork has been entirely made of the lightweight material, with the split lines on the body reduced by the use of large one-piece panels. In addition, the quad-exhaust nestles have been also made by carbon fibre.

Other great design features include round tail light reflectors that evoke the classic rear view of a Zagato, incorporating the same ‘bladed’ LED technology as the Aston Martin Vulcan; the glasshouse wrap around the bodywork; and the ‘double-bubble’ roof. The good and aggressive look of the car has been matched by the uprated V12 engine, which produces 600 PS.

    The Interior

Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Concept interior

When we talk about cars we rarely speak of their interiors and they are usually staying in the shadows. Here however, we should mention some exclusive design touches like the herringbone carbon fibre, which is paired with shadow and anodized bronze and aniline leather; the ‘Z’ quilt pattern stitch on the seat and door sections, as well as the celebrated trademark Zagato ‘Z’ embossed on headrests and stitched into the centre console.

    Have we missed something?
