  • Alfa Romeo 4C inspired by Adidas Football Deadly Focus Pack is strangely charming

Garage Italia Customs Alfa Romeo 4C front viewAlfa Romeo 4C is one of those stylish cars that can bear almost any kind of styling packages, tunings and modifications, isn’t it? This is probably because of its inherent Italian style. It does not even sound strange that the here-presented 4C is inspired by… shoes. Yes, shoes. But no others than Adidas’ Football Deadly Focus Pack.

Although it sounds a little bit strange to design a car after footwear, we must admit that this project really catches the eye. It is an idea developed by the founder of Garage Italia Customs Lapo Elkann and the company Italia Independent, which is leader in the fashion industry. The result is fascinating: the animal-inspired wrap, which entirely copies the pattern that Adidas has used for the X15 and Ace 16 football shoes.

If you are looking for anything else in this modification, you won’t find it. But still the 4C looks pretty intriguing and definitely draws the attention immediately. It also goes perfect with the Football Deadly Focus Pack. And just to remind you what it comes with it (as a standard), the 2016 Alfa Romeo 4C made its global and later market debut this year and amazed the public with its carbon-fiber infused chassis.

    Adidas Football Deadly Focus Pack

The car rides on alloys measuring 17-inches and fitted with Pirelli P Zero AR rubbers. Under the hood, there is a turbocharged four-cylinder unit, which is capable of generating 237 hp (174 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque. The engine is connected to a twin-clutch transmission, thus helping the 4C sprint from 0 to 60 mph (92 km/h) in just 4.1 seconds. The top speed is positioned at 160 mph.

After the debut of the coupe variant, Alfa Romeo introduced the 4C spider. Both are currently on sale.

  • Meet Vilner’s Exclusive “Fibra de Carbono Rosso” Based on Alfa Romeo Spider

Fibra de Carbono Rosso by Vilner Front ViewAlfa Spider “Fibra dе Carbono Rosso” is a project by the exclusive Bulgarian art tuning studio Vilner based on the Alfa Romeo Spider, produced in 2010. This particular car has a stunning performance enhanced by chip tuning and offering 250 horsepower (184 kW) and 420 Nm (310 lb-ft) of torque. It definitely promises incomparable experience which had to be matched in terms of visuals. And this was the main goal of the tuning specialists: to create a design masterpiece which is in perfect harmony with the untamed character of the car.

    The Exterior

To achieve the set goal, the experts had to choose the perfect exterior color. And we must admit that for this fast Italian car there is nothing better than a red. But it is not a simple red one, but a special color called Vilner Milano Rosso, which was developed by the studio for the personalized Alfa-Romeo MiTo that we have showed you some time ago.

SEE ALSO: Vilner Creates the Most Eccentric MINI One Cabrio in the Universe

The changes continue with detailed application of black lacquer, “black connection” between the taillights and black rings around the headlights. By the way the niches that house the headlights have been too painted in Milano Rosso. At last, the tarry alloys, door handles and blinkers round out the modifications on the outside. The result is fantastic and perfectly expresses the aggressive and sporty character of the Alfa Romeo Spider.

    The Interior

Fibra de Carbono Rosso Steering Wheel by Vilner

Since this is a cabriolet, the interior is an integral part of the design. Therefore Vilner could not indulge in not making the cabin a statement of art. First, the specialists created a special carbon composite, which seems to pervade the color of the exterior surfaces. The carbon fibers here have been mixed with Kevlar, and this combination is found applied on many of the cockpit’s details.

Precisely, the appliqués on the center console and the steering wheel, the door handles are molded from carbon fiber. The steering wheel itself has been entirely transformed. Its entire shape has been changed and now includes a bezel at the bottom, giving it more ergonomic grip. Furthermore, it has been upholstered in leather, contrasted by white stitching and the carbon fiber-Kevlar mix on its appliqués has the same 45-degree angle as these on the composite of the center console.

Vilner's Fibra de Carbono Rosso Interior

Continuing to the seat belts, they have been dressed in cherry purple red. This is not aimlessly done, but almost mimics the color of the individualized seats. Almost… because the design of the seats makes a mirror effect. Precisely, the elements on the right are made cherry blossom red leather, while on the left – of black material. The same approach has been used for the door panels.

At last, there is a particular detail on the seats of the Fibra de Carbono Rosso. Their central part features the so called 3D net – a special material, which underlines the sporty appearance of the seat, but also includes a porous structure, providing the necessary ventilation during the hot summer days.

Premium materials and high-quality components are of course included. Carbon-fiber and wood elements are also incorporated in order to deliver pleasure and comfort of driving.

    Drivetrain system

let’s proceed with the most interesting part. The engine. The engineer masters at Alfa Romeo surely demonstrated what perfection is. In fact, the fine tune process was made by engineers from the Ferrari background, which means, that the whole drivetrain system is a sort of masterpiece. 2016 Alfa Romeo Gulia comes with a V6 turbo petrol powerplant, that produces a total of 510 hp (375 kW) and goes from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.9 seconds. So, at the end let’s say that the 2016 Alfa Romeo Gulia completely connects with the Italian term ‘la meccanica delle emozioni’ (the mechanics of emotion). The model also is the first to demonstrate the redesigned logo of the brand.

  • Alfa Romeo Celebrates 65th Anniversary of the Victory in Silverstone

65 years ago, back in 1950 four Alfetta 158 models created history at the Silverstone race in Northamptonshire. Like its Coupe brother, the 2015 Alfa Romeo 4C Spider is built with ultra-lightweight carbon fiber monocoque and minimum redundant structural additions. The body includes redesigned aluminum rollover structure, especially crafted carbon-fiber windscreen frame and engine components, built from high-strength steel. Overall, the car looks beautiful and confident. But let’s see what else it has to offer.

    Exterior

It comes with covered projector-style xenon headlamps, that previously were only optional, while now they are included in the standard pack for the Spider. The back is also restyled: it comes with distinctive Spider buttresses and redesigned engine cover. Further additions are the heat extractors and the rear spoiler.

    Interior

The inside welcomes you with a redesigned Alpine head and Alfa Hi Fi audio system. And of course all the components are crafted to ensure maximum comfort and usability. And for customers, who want even more, the engineer team offers premium leather stitching and matching door cards as optional additions. Sweet.

  • Alfa Romeo is the New Yellow

Enough is enough already! After a series of teasing and leaked images, Alfa Romeo finally showed its 2015 redesigned Alfa Romeo 4C Spider at the North American International Auto Show. If you liked the initial 4C Coupe design, you will be glad to know that the automaker has preserved bigger part of it. Not to disappoint those who have been expecting it to be improved, the car arrives with some alterations. Just to spice things up a bit.

You might get bored, though, from the powerplant since power is still produced by the same four-cylinder, 1.75-liter turbocharged gasoline engine used in the 4C Coupe. It generates 177 HP (237 bhp) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of maximum torque.

The thing that is quite different is the optional exit lightweight Akrapovic exhaust system that comes with center-mounted tips with carbon fiber surrounds. The performance status hasn’t been changed either so the new 4C Spider covers the 0-60 mph run in 4.1 seconds with a top speed of 160 mph. To bore you even more with listing the same features, just like the 4C Coupe, the 2015 Alfa Romeo 4C Spider will be available with the standard and the Racing exhaust system.

Perhaps the most notable alteration is the removable roof which refines the traditional spider body look. And honestly, the open-top is the only thing that I find exiting. Otherwise, it is just the same as its sibling! Almost. The open-air model also receives refined headlights which are somehow slightly more appealing and attractive than the old version. Another new attachment is the set of either 17-inch (front)/18-inch (rear) or 18-inch (front)/19-inch (rear) sizes all-new wheels in Silver or Dark finishes.

The color… In combination with chopping off the roof, adding a new color is the easiest way to expand the range. So by giving the car this saturated yellowness, the Alfa Romeo 4C Spider US version kind of really manages to sting one’s vision.

Unfortunately, the price hasn’t been announced yet.
