ABT Releases 400HP Volkswagen Golf R

ABT Volkswagen Golf R ABT Sportsline has made a really good thing: they have created a 400 hp Volkswagen Golf R of the seventh generation. This is actually a 100 hp addition to its standard output, which has been achieved via Power S kit. The latter is based on the “New Generation” ABT control unit that not only guarantees maximum power, but also the greatest dependability.

As a result, the 2.0 TSI engine is capable of producing 400 hp (294 kW) and 480 Nm (354 lb-ft) of torque, compared to the serial 300 hp and 380 Nm. This is a substantial modification that demands attention.

In addition, ABT has added height adjustable suspension kit that makes the car sportier and brings it up to 45 mm closer to the ground. There is also a stabilizer kit for optimum handling at any given speed. Furthermore, we should also mention that the tuner equipped this Golf with attachment parts, which differentiates it from the serial version.

These include a brand new painted ABT front grille and head light covers. At the sides we see new skirts, while the new thing at the back is the tail gate add-on. The most impressive rear elements are the exhaust pipes which has a diameter of 102mm.

They are just part of the ABT muffler system. It comprises also of a pre-silencer and sport catalyst that contribute for the good uprating and sound. At last, the 400 hp are transmitted onto the road via new huge wheels and a complete set of new sports tires.

See the Transformed ABT Volkswagen Passat B8

Looking far more aggressive and assertive than before, Volkswagen Passat B8 receives some enhancements from ABT. The tuning package for the new generation VW combines elegance style and excellent performance which design a car that is really attractive. Performance-wise, the tuners from Bavaria could be said to add a lot. The ABT latest engine technology is represented by a 2.0 TDI engine which offers utmost power, reliability and balance. The power unit boosts the initial power of 240 HP (176 kW) to 280 HP (206 kW).

The sporty flavor of the ABT Volkswagen Passat B8 can be sensed not only under the hood but on the outside as well. Thus, the wagon takes advantage of an aerodynamic body kit which features a front lip spoiler, improved side skirts and revised rear spoiler. 2014 Audi S8 accelerated by ABT POWER S

It’s a bird! It’s a plane! No, it isn’t Superman. It is the super sports saloon Audi S8! Tuned by ABT Sportsline, the extremely fast car does not reach only high acceleration, but high-quality of efficiency, performance, luxury, comfort and minimum noise as well.

As a matter of fact, the tuned Audi S8 is more than just powerful enough. Powered with Biturbo-V8 engine which has 3,993 cc capacity, the car is now upgraded from 570 hp (328 kW) to 676 hp (496 kW) and, respectively, a peak torque of 840 Nm (previously 650 Nm). The Audi S8 can speed up to 100 kph in the incredible 3.6 seconds and it has a top speed of 290 kph. The demonstrated moments of excellence and supremacy even when it reaches high speeds are possible due to the ABT Engine Control which includes a special software. Finally, the incorporated ABT muffler system makes the best and most effective use of the technical part without altering the appealing serial look.

The ABT wheels are made in ER-C or DR design in 9.5 x 20 or 9.0 x 21 inches. Optionally, the Audi S8 also comes with a set of wheel with sports tires sized 275/35 R20 or 275/35 R21.

It can scarcely be defined as simply ordinary for the ABT family have surpassed themselves once again in what they strive to achieve. There is something more about their new creation. 2014 ABT Audi RS5-R is Capable of Reaching Top Speed of 290 km/h

2014 ABT Audi RS5-R is an exceptionl tuning, which deserves our attention. The reason it grabbed it was that it can reach 100 km/h from standstill in just 4.3 seconds, while its top speed stands at the 290 km/h. In order to achieve such a performance, the popular Audi tuners from Bavaria sent the production sports car Audi A5 to the training camp. The result is marvelous: it now produces 470 hp (346 kW) and 440 Newton metres (324 lb-ft) of torque.

Behind these figures however, stands the work of the engineers, which have added new body kit to the high-performance coupé. The martial look of the car, met the lightweight construction and a host of functional details.

Precisely, the carbon front skirt with AeroFlics improves the airflow. The low side skirts and the rear skirt as well as the striking wing also comprise of the high-tech carbon fibre material. In addition, ABT Sportsline also added special inserts for the front fenders.

RS5-R appears like a real racing car. This is due to the big 20” ABT rims of type ER-F20 that come in “black magic” color. An interesting fact is thah the lightweight, forged alloy wheels only weigh just 9.3 kg each. They were fittedd with 275/30 ZR20 high-performance tires.

The new exhaust system made a significant contribution to the performance increase. As a matter of fact, ABT offers it in two variants. The first one is the conventional style in serial tail pipe look, while the second one is an alternative side-pipe variant going out of the left skirt of the vehicle. The gigantic tail pipe is a feast for the eyes and the ears.

ABT Volkswagen Golf R – 400HP and 480Nm

ABT is now offering a staggering performance package for the ultra-hot hatchback – 2014 Volkswagen Golf R. The tuned vehicle is able to reach 300 km/h (186 mph).

“To top our previous uprating to 370 hp, we have not only optimised the ABT Engine Control software but also installed a sport-type catalytic converter,“ says CEO Hans-Jürgen Abt.

Both the ABT Power and the new, strong ABT Power S kit are based upon the specially developed “New Generation” ABT control unit, which guarantees maximum power and utmost dependability. This has been proven on our own dynamometer and on public roads.

The Golf R also has received a complete aerodynamics package including modified front grille, a pair of headlights covers, new mirror caps, a pair of modified side skirts and last, but not least a tail-gate add-on spoiler.

There are also different wheels in ER-C, DR and CR designs ranging from 18” to 20”. The stance is further improved by a height adjustable suspension kit, which can lower the front from 10 to 40mm and the rear from 20 to 45mm.

ABT Performance Cockpit – ZENEC-Naviceiver

ABT is now offering Performance Cockpit available for more than one hundred different cars and engines by VW, Skoda and Seat: Golf, Octavia and Leon plus Yeti or T5 and others.

“With the new ABT PERFORMANCE COCKPIT this is different,“ says CEO Hans-Jürgen Abt. “Here the driver always sees what’s happening with the engine”.

A high-quality ZENEC-Naviceiver displays the range of the maximum available ABT Power being used and also other interesting data like exhaust temperature, petrol, oil and boost pressure, vehicle voltage and oil temperature. It also shows the latest torque.

The Abt Performance Cockpit is only available in combination with specially pre-equipped upratings and was developed in conjunction with the ZENEC multi-media specialists. The package is based upon a device triad: the data are provided by the specially adapted ABT engine control unit (AEC), which increases the engine’s performance, and this information is conveyed to the ZENEC-Naviceiver Z-E2015 via the new ABT Gateway Interface.

The prices for the high-quality ZENEC-Naviceiver in combination with an ABT uprating start at €2,550 in Germany, depending customer’s car. With the Abt Performance Cockpit, drivers do not only feel their uprating but also see it.

ABT Audi RS Q3 – Full Details

ABT Sportsline has revealed full information for Audi RS Q3 coming with a number of styling and performance upgrades as well.

The exterior boasts a new front skirt, a modified front grille, a new rear skirt housing the four-tailpipe stainless steel exhaust system and a decal set. There is also a set of new enormous 9J x 21” DR alloy wheels fitted with 255/30 R21 sport tires. The stance is further improved by height adjustable suspension kit delivering optimised handling and better comfort.

The interior boasts a set of branded floor mats, carbon fiber elements, BOSE premium audio system, and a sports steering wheel.

The 2.5 liter five-cylinder turbocharged engine is boosted to 410HP (301 kW) and 530Nm (393 lb-ft) – an increase of 100HP and 110Nm of torque.

ABT Tunes Volkswagen Scirocco

ABT Volkswagen Scirocco is based on the third generation Scirocco, which debuted at the Geneva Motor Show this March. In fact, the model is celebrating its 40th birthday and on this occasion, ABT is offering some exclusive upgrades. Drivers of the original Scirocco, will enjoy not only its fascinating Giugiaro silhouette, but also the enhanced engine that can deliver up to 310 horsepower (228 kW). The strongest ABT Scirocco is based on the model equipped with the 2.0 TSI engine. Its serial power is estimated at 210 hp(154 kW).

In addition ABT also improves the 1.4 TSI and 2.0 TDI models. With the ABT Power “New Generation” and its own control unit the small turbo petrol engine can be uprated. The TSI can get enhanced up to 210 hp (154 kW), while the diesel engine – up to 195 hp (140 kW) and 390 Nm (287 lb-ft).

The other upgrades for this Volkswagen offered by ABT are new suspension springs and height adjustable suspension kit. The ABT brake system is there to offer its deceleration potential. The new visual credentials of the Scirocco make it more assertive.

The extensive aero kit consists of high-quality PUR-RIM material. The dynamic silhouette starts with the aggressive front skirt add-on. After that it continues with the side skirts and ends in the redesigned rear part.

At the back is where one can see how ABT has used a striking wing, a carbon-look rear panel and a dynamic rear skirt add-on. The latter accommodates a 4-pipe rear muffler. At last, but not least, the ABT Scirocco runs on 20’’ Gun-Metal ABT DR wheels.

ABT Sportsline Online Configurator

“None of our peers is able to provide such quality,” commented CEO Hans-Jürgen Abt about the new high-performance software, which completes the re-designed ABT Website. It now offers an online configurator featuring all tuning parts and showing the possible design of the modified vehicle.

The new ABT configurator includes all models by Audi, VW, Skoda and Seat. It boasts rotating and in 360° 3D. The user can change the basic car click by click and see what impact a new spoiler, a lower suspension setting or new wheels will have. There are also different options for the interior, paint finishes and other nice features. Of course, all pricing is included and is calculated as an overall cost.

“Every selectable component comes with a price tag. The costs of the TÜV entry, assembly or painting are also given,“ explained Hans-Jürgen Abt.

There are almost unlimited opportunities in modifying the chosen vehicle. There are so many parts to combine that you can be confused in a while. There are also all performance packages provided by the tuning company, which can be fitted to the selected model.

Undoubtedly, the new configurator by Abt will catch the attention of the users and they will pay a lot attention to it.

ABT Volkswagen Beetle Cabrio

ABT has presented their latest project based on the sexy Volkswagen Beetle. The tuning specialists offer both styling and performance improvements.

There petrol range includes 1.2 liter TSI, 1.4 liter TSI and 2.0 liter TSI. The smallest is boosted to 140HP (103 kW) and 220Nm (163 lb-ft). The middle power unit now has 210HP (154 kW) and 280Nm (207 lb-ft) of torque. The powerful 2.0 liter TSI is offered with two stages. Stage I has 240HP (176 kW) and 340Nm (252 lb-ft) and Stage II offers 260HP (191 kW) and 350Nm (259 lb-ft).

The diesel range comprising of 1.6 liter TDI and 2.0 liter TDI is boosted to 125HP (77 kW) and 285Nm ; 170HP (125 kW) and 370Nm, respectively.

Other highlights include a big brake system with 345 x 30 mm discs, steel flex lines and black callipers bearing the ABT logo, a set of 20” DR gun-metal alloy wheels or the ER-C and CR models and various colours and sizes.

“The ABT Aero-Kit is therefore harmonious. It uses a front spoiler, head and tail light covers, rear panel and rear skirt set with a two-pipe exhaust system that make this Beetle different indeed, while still appearing very natural,” said CEO Hans-Jürgen Abt.

ABT Audi S3 Saloon – 370HP and 460Nm

ABT has revealed their latest project based on the recently introduced Audi S3 Saloon. It boasts upgraded engine and impressive exterior.

The 2.0 liter TFSI is boosted to 370HP (272 kW) and 460Nm (341 lb-ft) of torque – an increase of 70HP and 80Nm. This helps the S3 to achieve a top speed of 265 km/h (165 mph) and a staggering acceleration 0-100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds. The result is thanks to a new sports exhaust system and an ECU re-map. There is also a complete cold air intake system including high-flow filter.

Other highlights include 20” DR alloy wheels fitted with performance tires. There are also 18” or 19” versions and the ER-C and CR wheels are also available. ABT fitted the sports saloon with new fender inserts made from high-quality ABS plastic. ABT integrated entrance lights, floor mats and air caps round off the package and raise the styling to a higher level.

And at full throttle, the S3 saloon will indeed resemble a rocket. “Lean back, accelerate and enjoy,” as ABT Sportsline CEO Hans-Jürgen Abt said.
