  • 2011 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible – V8 and wind in the hair

    Chevrolet has officially unveiled the 2011 Camaro Convertible just before its debut at the 2010 Los Angeles Auto Show. The stunning car will go on sale in February next year.

    The top is made out of a durable canvas material and features an acoustic headliner as well as a glass rear window with a defogger. It needs just 20 seconds to fold down with a single push of a button. When the roof is down, the luggage capacity drops to 222 liters, instead of 290 liters.

    The car is powered by 3.6 liter V6 Pentastar with 312HP (232 kW) and 370Nm (278 lb-ft) of torque. (more…)

  • 2011 Aston Martin Rapide Luxe – more than you expect

    Aston Martin Rapide is the most gorgeous high-end luxury sedan in the world. Still, it can be improved and the manufacturer actually done that.

    Now, there is Rapide Luxe, which was just unveiled by Aston Martin UK. It is a combination of highly desirable functional features, a greater choice of paint and leather finishes as standard, and unique features including bespoke accessories.

    The car can be ordered with 20″ 20-spoke alloys with polished finish, full grain leather interior with a choice of colors from the Fast Track or Contemporary ranges, and a luxury entertainment set for rear passengers. (more…)

  • G-POWER M6 Hurricane RR – 800PS and 800Nm

    After the debut of the mighty M5 Hurricane RR, it is time for G-Power to release M6 Hurricane RR.

    Their latest project is powered by a twin-supercharged 5.0 liter V10 boosted to whopping 800PS ( 588 kW) and 800 Nm ( 590 lb-ft) of torque. This turns M6 Hurricane RR into the world’s fastest four-seat coupe.

    The acceleration is close to a jet fighter’s one – 0 to 100 km/h in 4.35 seconds, which is kind of “slow”, because of traction problems, but 0 to 200 km/h is in 9.5 seconds and the 300 km/h mark comes in 24.9 seconds. The car weighs a bit under 2 tons. (more…)

  • 2012 Bentley Continental Flying Spur Series 51

    Bentley Continental Flying Spur Series 51 was unveiled to showcase great advanced and intuitive touchscreen infotainment technology on all Continental Flying Spur and Supersports models.

    The enormous car is capable of doing 200 mph ( 322 km/h) and is the the most successful four-door Grand Tourer in Bentley’s history and among the best-selling ultra-luxury saloons in the world.

    It is powered by 6.0 litre twin-turbo W12 mated to a 6-speed ZF tiptronic automatic transmission. The monster under the hood delivers whopping 610PS at 6000RPM and 750Nm (553 lb-ft) (more…)

  • Mansory BMW X6 M – Power over vision

    Mansory has already released a tuned version of BMW X5 M and now it is turn to X6 M.

    The SAC received aerodynamic package consisting of a new front spoiler with bigger air intakes, a lightweight carbon-fiber bonnet with air vents to cool the engine, a revised side skirts, rear diffuser, a rear spoiler lip and a roof spoiler. The wide-body kit adds 70mm at the front wheel arches and 80 mm at the back to the tuned BMW X6 M.

    The performance package includes stainless-steel sport exhaust system with the quad-pipes integrated into the rear diffuser, new exhaust manifold and ECU re-map. The result is whopping 670 PS (493 kW) and 950 Nm of torque, which is an improvement of 115hp and 270 Nm of torque. (more…)

  • Wimmer Mercedes C63 AMG – just BRUTAL!

    Mercedes C63 AMG is one of our favourite cars because of its brutality. The enormous 6.2 liter naturally aspirated V8 delivers 450hp at 6800RPM and 600Nm of torque. The monster goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and tops 320 km/h, if you are brave enough.

    However, Wimmer decided that this is not enough and they boosted the engine to the whopping 580hp and 690Nm of torque. The results are thanks to a K&N CAI, a re-mapped ECU, a custom exhaust system. The sports exhaust system consists of a new manifold with a down pipe, a sports catalyst and an optimized cat-back.   • 2012 Mercedes CLS Shooting Brake goes into production

    Mercedes-Benz CLS Shooting Brake Concept was introduced at the 2010 Beijing Auto Show and the good news is that it goes into production. It will be assembled in the Mercedes-Benz Plant Sindelfingen and available as 2012 model.

    Currently, this factory produces the C-Class Sedan, the E-Class Sedan and Estate, the S-Class and the coupes CLS and CL as well as the Maybach models and Mercedes-Benz Guard vehicles.

    Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG will be also produced in the same plant as well as the B-Class eCell. Starting 2014, the new Mercedes-Benz SL-Class will also be manufactured in Sindelfingen. (more…)

  • 2011 Dodge Challenger SRT8 392 – A Muscle from the future

    Dodge exhibits the 2011 Challenger SRT8 392 at 2010 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. It is powered by a new 6.4 liter HEMI V8 delivering 470hp (350kW) and 637Nm (470lb-ft) of torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed automatic (a 6-speed manual is an option) gearbox, which transmits the power on the road through LSD at the rear wheels. The monster accelerates from 0 to 60mph in 4 seconds and the top speed is 290 km/h (180mph). The amazing results are thanks to the added variable intake manifold, multi-cylinder deactivation, and VVT technology. (more…)

  • Gillet Vertigo .5 Spirit

    Vertigo .5 Spirit is a creation of Gillet Automobiles. The car is a little strange, because it features mighty engine combined with low weight and sporty luxurious interior. On the top of this, it looks rather aggressive.

    The car is built on a carbon-fiber chassis and weighs just 950kg. It is powered by 4.2 liter V8 from Maserati delivering 420hp. The engine is mated to a 6-speed Sequential gearbox.

    Vertigo stands on 19” wheels fitted with high-performance tires – 225/35 at the front and 275/35 at the rear. (more…)

  • Lamborghini Murcielago Yeniceri Edition – 220mph car

    Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 is just an astonishing vehicle. A true masterpiece, which probably cannot be made better. It is powered by 6.5 liter V12 with 640PS at 8000RPM and 660Nm at 6000RPM. It is capable of doing more than 210mph (340 km/h) and accelerates like a hurricane – 0 to 60 mph i 3.3 seconds and the 100mph mark comes in 7.5 seconds. LP640 covers ¼ mile in 11.4 seconds with 127mph.

    Nine pimped Mustangs at the 2010 SEMA Show

    Ford Motor Company will present nine pimped Mustangs at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) 2010 in Las Vegas.

    Jim Owens, Mustang brand manager commented : “The 2011 model year sets a new standard for Mustang, with everything from bringing back the revered 5.0-liter V8 Mustang GT to the all-aluminum 3.7-liter engine in the Mustang V6 with 305 horsepower and 31 mpg.
