How to Hijack a Jeep Cherokee Over the Internet? [VIDEO]

Jeep Cherokee Gets Hijacked Jeep Cherokee models are one of the most famous SUVs around the United States. The fact that many are eager on driving one is indisputable. We found a very interesting video on YouTube, recently published by WIRED’s official page. It previewed how Andy Greenberg’s SUV gets hijacked… by hackers over the internet.

If you think that this isn’t possible, well, given that the technologies are developing unsteadily fast, it is no surprise that people are capable of doing it. The video below shows how two hackers have developed a tool that can remotely kill a Jeep on the highway.

While, WIRED’s senior writer, Andy Greenberg, takes the 2014 Jeep for a spin, the hackers were capable of sabotaging it from miles away. In fact, the duo developed the software for this particular model for over a year and it does not require any hardware change to the SUV.

Interestingly enough, there are no devices attached to the SUV that will allow a remote control. However, the Cherokee had a weakness, through which both hackers could attack it over the internet. How this has happened, see for yourself and watch it in the video below. I promise it will be very funny.

Audi A8 Edition 21 Comes With Style And Exclusivity

Audi A8 was released two decades ago and now Audi brand celebrates the successful and well-known saloon model with a special vehicle, named Edition 21. Taking everything nice from all the lineup features and adding some interesting solutions, Audi A8 Edition 21 will be available as a standard lineup and a special Limited series with only 121 units. In fact, the Audi A8 Edition21 can already be purchased.

The vehicle will offer bold interior and exterior styling, but will also keep some of the classic A8 features alive. For example, Edition 21 offers the standard wheelbase for all A8 models, but comes with restyled front and rear bumpers as well redesigned side sills. The Edition 12 will also offer Adaptive Audi Matrix LED headlights and special LED rear lights with dynamic indicators.

Furthermore, new to this models are the 20-inch double spoke alloy wheels and the extended list of exterior color options. In fact, the vehicle can now be painted with grey pearl effects shade. Privacy glass from the B-pillar is also included in the standard equipment.

Exterior and Interior

When it comes to interior styling, Audi A8 Edition 21 offers some refined atmosphere with its special design and extensive pack variations. The standard trim comes with two optional color schemes: Cognac Brown with black contrasting stitching and Black Leather with red contrasting stitching. Furthermore, the vehicle is geared with special sporty seats, that can be fine-adjusted with the special system, that offers 22-way of tweaking the seats. How cool is that? Edition 21 will also come with a special black cloth three-spoke multi-function steering wheel, illuminated door sill plates and numerous more goodies.

And as a self-respected brand, Audi also incorporated numerous gadgets and high-tech system, so Edition 21 meets the requirements of people from 21st century. The car offers HDD-based satellite navigation, BOSE surround audio system and of course Audi Connect portfolio of smart phone and internet-based services. And some of the models include reversing camera and power-operated boot lid with hands-free opening and powered door closure. Sweet.

Drivetrain System

Audi A8 Edition 21 is geared with EU-6-compliant 3.0-liter V6 TDI unit, that produces a total of 263 hp (193 kW) and 580Nm of torque between 1,750 and 2, 500 rpm. All this paired to an 8-speed triptronic transmission, linked to quattro permanent all-wheel drive. Edition 21 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) for 6.2 seconds and chases the top speed of 279 km/h (155 mph).

On Friday, July 24, the couple visited the Conner Avenue Assembly Plant in Detroit and received the keys to two new customized “1 of 1” Dodge Viper GTC models.

This couple is also famous for another fact and it is that with these new two additions they own a total of 79 Dodge Vipers. It is even hard to comprehend this number, but it is cool to see the enthusiasm in their eyes.

We definitely admire these people, since they have the courage to collect these fantastic cars, spend energy and time as well as money, to make their dream come true. And this is what makes them perfect for encouraging others to follow their steps.

But how did they receive those unique one-off Viper GTC models? The answer lies in the new Viper “1 of 1” customization program, through which owners can create their own one-of-a-kind Snake. How cool is that?

What is even cooler is that there are no two cars alike, because the program implies that no two customers can order the same configuration, including color, in the same model year.

Another interesting detail here is that with the introduction of matte-finish exterior paint, the new model year Viper is now offered in more than 50 million configurations. In fact, there are more than 16,000 unique paint color options and more than 48,000 unique stripe combinations.

Besides the one-off exterior qualities of the car, the Viper is also capable of some special powers. Due to the hand-built aluminum 8.4-liter V-10 engine, the snake produces 645 horsepower (474 kW) and 813 Nm (600 lb.-ft.) of torque. The last numbers help the Viper’s engine be the most torque of any naturally aspirated sports car engines in the world.

2016 Honda Accord And What we Get After the Facelift

ABT Sportsline Gives More Power to Audi S3 Limo

Audi is a brand which has climbed to the top of its quality. Manufacturers envision it as the ultimate truth in engineering. Aston Martin DB10: The Brightest Star in the Newest James Bond Movie

“You have no authority. None.” These are the very first words we hear in the new James Bond movie trailer. However, the beauty by Aston Martin which features in the film seems to have plenty of authority there. A surplus of it in fact.

The most scandalous secret agent is back and this time around he returns with much more saturated flair for action, motion and dynamism. His mission is yet again simple, in the most complex way of course – survival. Clearly other people get involved too and Bond has to keep them alive as well. There are too many flying bullets after all. And explosions. And even more explosions after that.

A puzzling message from the agent’s past sends him to Mexico City and then to Rome where he is supposed to uncover the existence of a sinister “supergrop” – Spectre. As if his journey is not complicated enough but he meets the gorgeous Monica Bellucci, pardon, Lucia Sciarra, who makes things even more complicated as she is the widow of an infamous criminal.

So far we have got The Man and The Women. The only thing that is missing is, well, The Car. Bond movies are well-known for their choices of automotive splendor and Spectre is ready to show us some more of it. The newest cinematic production will amaze us with Jaguar and Land Rover models. However, the brightest star is that of the stunning Aston Martin DB10 that perfectly matches the blasting nature of the storyline itself. From what we can hear and see the DB10 is a manual beast that acknowledges no limits. And walls too.

The bespoke car was created exclusively for James Bond: Spectre with ten units that will be hand-built in-house by Aston Martin’s design and engineering teams in Gaydon. The manufacturer specified a few details about the car such as its 4.7 litre V8 engine and the 6-speed manual transmission unit.

All in all, the movie promises to deliver spectacular fast-motion moments that will make one’s heart stop and then start pulsating 007 times faster than before. The movie is officially coming out in October 26th.

Ford Earned Three Award Prizez at the 2015 APEAL Event

Ford APEAL J.D. Power 2015 U.S. Automobile Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) Study has shown some interesting result in this year’s event. As you know, when it comes to beloved vehicles, there are three Ford models, that stood out from the crowd and were enough distinctive for the 2015 APEAL event. The three Ford award recipients indeed are: C-MAX, Expedition and the F-150.

We have told you a lot about the 2015 Ford F-150. It is by far the toughest, smartest and most reliable F-150 model. And with all the additions and upgrades, that include aerodynamic changes, and the special systems for improved parking maneuvers and with the recently released Limited Edition, this is truly America’s favorite truck. And at the J.D. Power 2015 U.S. APEAL event, the F-150 ranked highest in the Large SUV category, while the C-MAX received the Compact Multi-Purpose Vehicle Award.

Furthermore, according to the J.D. Power 2015 U.S. Automobile Performance, Execution and Layout study, 2015 is the 20th year, that marks industry changes for the modern appearance of vehicles and how the driving experience have changed over the course of two decades. Now owners can evaluate their vehicle across 77 attributes, which combine in a special way to create the final and overall APEAL Index score. In fact, the scale is a 1000-point one. It should be tough to go to the first place, no doubt.

2015 Kia Sedona Won Another Prize!

2015 Kia Sedona comes with nice and stylish design, flexible character and overall confident character. There are a total of ten categories: exterior, interior, storage, audio, seats, heating and ventilation, driving dynamics, powertrain, visibility, and fuel economy.

The vehicle is available with five trim levels, that are L, LX, EX, SX and SX Limited and a choice of seven-passenger or eight-passenger seating configuration. With all these trims and configurations, there is surely anything for anyone. The heart of the 2015 Sedona is Kia’s trusty 3.3-Liter V6 powerplant. It offers 276 hp (202 kW) and is paired to a six-speed automatic transmission, routed to the front wheels. 2015 Sedona also offers an extended list of driver-aid technology, that includes Surroud View Monitor, Smart Cruise Contro, Blind Spot Detection and Lane Departure Warning. The cabin offers soft-touch materials, premium amenities and Kia’s latest UVO2 infotainment and telematics system.
