Why this MINI John Cooper Works has nothing to do with a regular one?

To make things a little bit clearer, they have developed a several stage modifications which results in fantastic addition of output for the MINI. And to be even more precise, the stock horses of the car jumped from 231 hp to 300 hp, while the Newton meters – from 320 Nm to 465 Nm.

Even more: the top speed was changed from 246 km/h to 280 km/h, while the acceleration time (for the 0-100 km/h sprint) dropped from 6.3 sec to 5.4 sec. How did they make things possible? The answer: with a lot of hard and precise work as well as a precise craftsmanship.

The Three Stages

Well, the aforementioned performance uprating was achieved with the help of Stage 3 conversion, which includes in-house made high-performance intercooler, modified intake ducts and manifold, high-flow exhaust downpipe, and a remap of the fuel, ignition and turbocharger boost curves. The high-flow downpipe actually unleashes approximately 15hp.

Given the fact that there is a Stage 3, to one surely occurs that there are two more. By the way, you have to apply them before reaching to the last one. The Stage 1 offers a slight increase in boost pressure and remap of the fuel and ignition curves. As a result, the output was increased to 272 hp and 400 Nm of torque. The Stage 2 pushes the horses to 286 hp and 430 Nm via the new intake ducts and manifold. The fuel and ignition curves are remapped, and turbo boost increased by 0.25 bar.

Improving the soundtrack of the newly uprated MIN is B7B’s sport exhaust with uprated catalytic converter. In addition, to make everything even more harmonious, the chassis received sport spring set, which lowers the ride height by approximately 30 mm and improves the cars handling and looks. There were also added KW V3 coilover suspension kit, 342 mm vented discs in front part of the new high performance brake system and B9 alloy wheels measuring 18-inch.

2017 Renault Sport RS Clio 16 Renault Sport has unveiled a special concept vehicle on the streets of Monaco’s well-known Grand Prix circuit. Driven by Renault Sport Formula One Team’s Kevin Magnussen, the Clio R.S.16 is by far brand’s highestperformance Renault Sport road-legal car.

Developed in record time, the vehicle is especially created to mark both the celebrations for 40th anniversary of Renault Sport and brand’s return to Formula One as a constructor. And thanks to some new and refined procedures, the development team managed to ensemble the car in just five months. How cool is that?

Design and additions

The design and development team successfully managed to deliver us a vehicle with stunning design and excellent performance rates. The body of the vehicle is widened by 60mm, there are new 19-inch wheels and of course, this fresh new engine cooling system. And of course, brand’s Liquid Yellow has been the fine choice for exterior finish that perfectly with the glossy black details.

And after its first public demonstration on the streets of Monaco, the vehicle’s next official appearance will be at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, held between June 23 and 26.

Seat Ateca First Edition is the SUV designed by YOU

Seat Ateca First Edition side and front view Seat Ateca was definitely one of those vehicles we didn’t see coming. With its big proportions and great SUV-stance the vehicle mesmerized the audience immediately. Following the huge debut success, the compact SUV was made even more attractive with its “First Edition” specification. Well, it is an time for Seat to announce the detailed specification and pricing for this one-off trim level, isn’t it?

The extremely well-specified and striking First Edition is made exclusive with just the single fact that it will be produced in just 200 examples. In fact, the Fist Edition of the Ateca model was created with the help of 13,000 British citizens, who told Seat which are the most appealing characteristics of a compact SUV that can be used in the day-to-day life.

So they had to respond to a series of seven questions about their lifestyles and character, with 192 possible outcomes. After they finished the task, the online system then generated an Ateca version to suit their specific needs. One of the most liked designs was proved to be the ‘Horizon Chaser’.

And the best thing is that it is now translating into a production car with the following standard equipment: 18-inch bi-color alloy wheels, satellite-navigation system with an eight-inch touch screen, Keyless entry (KESSY), electric tailgate with virtual pedal, rear parking sensors with rear view camera, dark-tinted rear windows, black roof rails and window surrounds.

Although it is below the top-of-the-range XCELLENCE trim level, the First Edition is positioned above the SE and has higher specifications within almost the same pricing. What’s left unmentioned is that the Ateca First Edition will be equipped with either of two engines: the 1.0 TSI with 115PS and the 1.6 TDI with the same power output. The pricing begins at £21,995 and £24,305 respectively.

Nissan proudly unveils the 2017 GT-R NISMO. Check it out!

Beautiful and confident, the new 2017 Nissan GT-R NISMO made its global debut at the Nürburgring race, known as the longest and one of the toughest race tracks in the world. Also, this was the place where the new GT-R NISMO was tested, tuned and refined.

And just like the GT-R Premium, the 2017 GT-R NISMO features redesigned face and overall more aggressive fascia. Meet Nissan’s unsung hero! Paul Eanes and his experience with Nissan!

Paul Eames is a legend. And there are legends about him. There is a guy who claims that he saw how Eames has once eaten a whole Versa Note for breakfast. Other fellows tell the tale of how he uses his GT-R chassis for bed. Truth or not, one is known for sure: Paul Eames is Nissan’s very own tame racing driver and as many car fans will tell you, his identity has been kept secret for a long time.

Paul has played key role in the driving team. He makes sure that every new Nissan vehicle can handle the road and can tackle down all the challenges it is created for. Also, as one of only four expert drivers outside Japan, Paul completes numerous laps of the brand’s various test tracks all around the globe.

And with his 20 years of experience at Nissan, Paul knows exactly whether a vehicle is optimized, fine tuned or not. What is special about this guy is that he can be both experienced engineer and driver and a customer at the same time. This allows him to know what people do want and what he can do to deliver it.

Mazda CX-9 benefits from new functional and distinctive lights. Check them out!

So, how do you know if a brand has made a proper headlights? When the vehicle that heads towards you is instantly recognizable only by its headlights. Or at least Mazda team thinks so, as it comes to 2016 Mazda CX-9.

The new SUV comes with distinctive body stance, advanced drivetrain system and apparently with some badass headlights. Let’s check more, shall we?

In terms of illumination, the CX-9’s low-beam headlights produce 900 lumens per unit. This is about twice the output of halogen headlights. Also, these new units are 35% brighter than standard halogen lights and throw their lights 10% farther than the well-known xenon HID units. Sweet, right?

Indeed because of these ultra-versatile headlights, engineers were also able to pack both low- and high-beam lights in single housing of cleaner and sharper look. The lights are also more durable and more hi-end looking. In fact, one of the most functional features is the ability to reach the right amount of light, whether we talk about daytime, or for some midnight journey.

The LED taillights work in a similar way and can light up even quicker than traditional set of back lights and also help preventing rear-end collisions. Handy, right?

Mercedes-Benz SLC has never looked better and there is just one reason for this

Piecha Design Mercedes-Benz SLC front view The Mercedes SLK is celebrating this year its 20th anniversary. But this isn’t the reason why the emblematic small roadster is looking so incredibly good. Here’s the secret: to commemorate the 20^th anniversary of the model, the tuning studio Piecha Design have created a brand new styling kit with exclusive design components.

The third generation (R172) is being called SLC from this year, but it doesn’t include any significant differences with its predecessor. The rear, for instance, have been just slightly modified by Mercedes. The here presented tuning however, has made the changes much more striking and racy.

The transformation starts with LED headlights, a diamond style radiator grill and a new front bumper. The customized springs that lower the centre of gravity by up to 25mm are another striking feature, as are the wheel spacers, the real-glass wind stop, the chrome-plated Aerowings and the alloy wheels.

By the way, the alloys here are the in-house made Jade R sized 19-inches and available in silver finish called “Hi Power”. At the front, the tires are of the dimension 235/35 R19, while at the back they are 275/30 R19.

Another “must-have” is Piecha’s vario roof module. What is it and how does it work? With a simple push of the button on the car remote key, one can open or close the roof of the SLC. Even more, the driver can even eliminate more air turbulences with the module by closing the rear windows while driving with an open roof. At last, there is this in-house made Power Converter, which provides a much better responsiveness of the gas pedal and more agility and fun.

JMS experts make things cool with the BMW X5 Racelook Exclusive Line

JMS BMW X5 F15 front view It is a well-known fact that the X5 is one of the most desired vehicles nowadays. Because of its huge proportions and wide stance it evokes that feeling of on-road safety, exclusivity and luxury. However, it is somehow missing the racing feeling despite being an inherent BMW. Who could argue with this?

Well, not for a long time, because the experts at the German studio JMS Fahrzeugteile have created a one-off new sports-inspired look for the machine and the result is breath-taking. The styling kit carries the name Racelook Exclusive Line and it has been specifically created for the X5 F15 of the third generation.

The visual upgrade has been intended for those who do not own the M version, but still want a racy-look. So here are the details.

The pack comprises of a brand new front spoiler and a couple of rear diffusers. There is also a ten-part wide wheel arch extension kit which features air outlets on the trailing edges of the arches, thus making the car looking wider at its sides. Filling out the extra-wide wheel-arches are the 22-inch Cor.Speed Deville alloy wheels that were shod with 295/30R22 tyres.

The conversion is completed off with a four oval exhaust tailpipe kit. At last, for sportier driving experience the tuners have added a KW Variant 3 coilover suspension, which lowers the ride height by 55 mm and 45 mm, at the front and rear respectively.

Volkswagen gears the almighty Touareg with luxurious trim level, called R-Line Plus. Check it out!

2016 Volkswagen Touareg R-Line Plus The latest VW Touareg is one of brand’s most popular luxury SUVs and in order to remain high in the ranks, the fellow engineers at Volkswagen upgrade the lineup with new range-topping trim level: R-Line Plus.

Offered with the highest at the moment trim level, the special upgrade has a lot to offer. First of all, there is a slight change in style: the five-seater receives 21-inch “Mallory” design wheels that replace the old 20-inch ones. In terms of performance and utility stuff, the Touareg will benefit from the impressive Area View technology, which improves the front, rear and side wide-angle cameras to provide a full 360-degree bird’s-eye exterior view.

2016 VW Amarok comes with refined interior and vast number of goodies

2016 Volkswagen Amarok Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has finally revealed some images of the Amarok. This latest and greatest model will aid drivers with tons of goodies: there is a special multi-function display, next-gen radio and navigation systems, 14-way adjustable ergoComfort seats and many, many more.

But of course, the interior features are not alone. Feeling comfortable both on the road and off it, the Amarok can tackle down any challenge, thanks to the 3.0-liter V6 TDI power unit, capable of producing 224hp (165kW) and 500Nm of torque. Its top speed is 193km/h (120mph) and accelerates from 0 to 100km/h (62mph) in 7.9 seconds.

But let’s get back to the interior. The instrument panel has undergone some changes and now makes a difference: there are new striking features and also pleasurable visual changes. With some round and elegant lines, the vehicle’s cabin appears to be bolder and cosier.
