  • Jaguar XKR GT2 at The 24h Le Mans

    Jaguar will takе a part in Le Mans on June 12 with XKR GT2 sports car. The company celebrates its 75th anniversary and they will return to the legendary 24H race at the circuit where it earned seven race wins between 1951 and 1990.

Our domination of Le Mans in the 1950s was a foundation stone in our history and our success in the late ‘80s and early ‘90s reinforced our reputation as one of the great sports car manufacturers.”, said Mike O’Driscoll, Managing Director of Jaguar Cars.   • Toyota Aygo and Yaris bring highest satisfaction

    Aygo and Yaris are the best value for money on the market. That shows the message from the results of this year’s J.D. Power and Associates/WhatCar? Vehicle Ownership Satisfaction Study (VOSS).

    Both Toyotas achieved the top ranking in the VOSS City Car and Small Car categories. The full hybrid Prius was second ranked  in the Upper Medium Car category. Verso and RAV4 has been the third-ranked MPV and SUV.

    Toyota offers unrivalled fuel consumption, insurance and the cost of servicing, and repairs. The study was among owners of cars around two years old. (more…)

  • Alfa Romeo Giulietta is the safest compact car in the world

    Alfa Romeo GiuliettaGiulietta has been awarded from Euro NCAP five-star rating and an overall score of 87/100, which perfect result and makes the small Alfa Romeo the safest compact car ever.

    Since 2009 Euro NCAP has adopted a new safety scheme , which is composed of four areas of assessment: Adult Occupant, Child Occupant, Pedestrian Protection and a new one – Safety Assist.  Injury avoidance and mitigation functions, such as seat belt reminder, ESP and speed limiter, are also rated.

    The ratings, which Alfa Romeo Giulietta achieved are: 97% Adult Occupant, 85% Child Occupant, 63% Pedestrian Protection and 86% Safety Assist. (more…)

  • Audi A5 and E-tron triumphed at the Michelin Challenge Bibendum 2010

    Audi take part in the Michelin Challenge Bibendum 2010. The world famous brand took two victories. The awards came from lightweight A5, which won overall victory in the rally and the design award went to the Audi E-tron electric sports car. Audi A3 1.6 TDI was also at the Challenge Bibendum and performed good.

    Audi A5 lightweight prototype brought the overall victory in the eco rally over a distance of 350 kilometers. The Michelin Challenge Bibendum was participated by 80 vehicles. The prototype was also in the leading group in the individual categories CO2 emissions, overall emissions, efficiency, acceleration and handling. (more…)

  • BMW M3 GT2 Art Car by Jeff Koons

    Jeff Koons unveiled his Art Car, which is based on BMW M3 GT2. It was homologated to take part at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in France on June 12-13, 2010.

    The Art car was introduced for the first time on June 1 in front of 300 international VIP guests in the Centre Pompidou, which is one of the world’s most prestigious cultural institutions for modern and contemporary art.

  • Trucks of the future – safer and more efficient

    Rikard Orell, Design Director at Volvo Truck Corporation is the mastermind of the 2020 Concept Volvo Truck. The future truck shows the vision of Volvo for the future. In less than ten years, the trucks will be much different to those of today.

    The full autopilot will be available, so the trucks will be driven non-stop in nose-to-tail convoys on green super-motorways linking the continents.

    Rikard Orell Design Director at Volvo Trucks said: “Progress is getting ever faster. Because of this our vision for the future is not that far away. Much of the technology in the Volvo Concept Truck 2020 is already available; other technology needs to be developed. One needs to dare to stride firmly into the debate, demonstrating what one can and will do. Just tinkering at the edges runs the risk of progress slipping away.” (more…)

The car is expected to achieve in excess of $5 million. This is a historical moment, because it is a first time to put this car on sale.

Among the modifications ot the car are machine guns, bullet-proof shield, revolving number plates, , tracking device, removable roof panel, oil slick sprayer, nail spreader and smoke screen, all controlled from factory installed toggles and switches hidden in the center arm-rest.   • Mercedes-Benz S350 CDI will be put on sale in US

    Mercedes-Benz S350 CDI will be now available for sale in US. The flagship sedan is powered by 3.0 liter turbocharged V6 diesel engine with 241 hp and 429 lb-ft (580Nm) of torque.

    The US version is slightly more powerful than the European one, which produces 235hp and 398 lb-ft. Because of this reason you wont be able to purchase the mighty S420 CDI version in United States. Mercedes-Benz S350 CDI will feature AdBlue injection technology to cleanse its exhaust system while the power will be delivered through the 4MATIC all-wheel drive system. (more…)

  • BMW X6 Interceptor – a bold creation by Met-R

    BMW X6 is one of the most discussed and interesting cars in the world. It is a combination between SUV and sports Coupe and the new class is SAC – Sports Activity Coupe. X6 is extremely muscular and has respectful presence on the road, even in its base version.
