  • Lamborghini Gallardo LP 550-2 Balboni refined by Anderson Germany

    The tuning company Anderson Germany, which is based in Dusseldorf has released a tuning package for Lamborghini Gallardo Balboni Edition. The new version gets more power, striking exterior and new huge wheels.

    The overall power of the car is boosted with 7 per cent to 590PS, which is increasing of 40PS and the torque was also improved, but the figures are not available.

    Outside, Lamborghini Gallardo Balboni Edition by Anderson Germany have been thoroughly polished and got a white and gold stripe that is reflected in the wheels and the interior. (more…)

  • BMW 120i Coupe Performance Unlimited specially for Japan

    BMW Performance Unlimited special edition 1 Series coupe will be offered in Japan. The compact coupe is powered by a 2.0 liter four-cylinder petrol engine delivering 170hp. The engine is mated with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The expected acceleration is 8.4 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h.

    Only 30 units of the the Performance Unlimited 120i will be produced. (more…)

  • Dartz Bentley Continental GT SS – The White Snake

    The Russian tuning company Dartz revealed one of their latest projects – Bentley Continental GT SS. The package features white alloy wheels, blacked-out brightwork and smoked tail-lamp lenses.

    Inside, Dartz Bentley Continental GT SS has a reference to the snakeskin theme, while nodding to the similarly-shaded Continental Supersports. The white snake skin is applied on the dashboard and the center console. (more…)

  • Skoda Yeti is named Car of the Year 2010

    Skosa Yeti received the top award in the 2010 Auto Express New Car Awards. It is named „Car of the Year” by the top-selling weekly automotive magazine and website.

    Skoda took totally five awards at the event, held Tuesday evening, 3 August. Skoda Superb was named Best Family Car and the Estate version took the Best Estate Car award. Furthermore, Yeti was also awarded Best Crossover. (more…)

  • U-Connect performance module for BMW 120d, 320d and 520d

    Unichip Europe now offers a new performance-enhancing plug and play U-Connect piggy back upgrade for the BMW 163 and 177bhp, 2 liter four-cylinder diesel engine, which is mounted in the 120d, 320d and 520d models from 2003 onwards.

    The 2.0 liter diesel engine gains 19bhp and 54Nm of torque (40 lb-ft), so the overall power becomes 182bhp or 195bhp, respectively. (more…)

  • 2011 Land Rover Freelander 2 – full details and specification

    2011 Land Rover Freelander 2 will go on sale in the UK from the end of September, this year. The facelifted version of the model features a new 2.2 litre diesel engine with either 150PS or 190PS. Furthermore, the SUV has minor updates to the exterior and interior. Last, but not least, 2011 Freelander 2 will be available with a new Premium Pack option.

    The new turbo-diesel engine is available in the 4WD TD4 150PS version mated with manual transmission and intelligent Stop/Start technology as standard. An automatic gearbox without Stop/Start is available as an option. The SD4 model with 190PS is available in automatic transmission only. (more…)

    The Classic Design Concepts Firebreather is put on sale. The official price is $60 000, which seems reasonable according to the exterior and performance.

    Firebreather is powered by huge 6.2 liter supercharghed V8 developing 599hp. The Classic Design Concepts worked hard over the interior to create a really aggressive car, which can’t stay unnoticed on the streets.     Carlsson now offers tuning package for the practical Smart Fortwo Coupe and Convertible versions. The improvements include LED daytime running lights, exclusive leather packages, a superb audio system and some slight touches to the exterior and the interior.

  • The real price of Chevrolet Volt in the US is more than $60 000

    The original price tag of Chevrolet Volt is $41 000, but obviously the dealers will decided the final price of the car.

    According to a research in the USA made from Edmunds, who sent an email to a local Chevrolet dealer to ask for a final price of Chevrolet Volt. The curious thing is that the dealer said that their asking price for Volt will be $41 000 plus additional $20 000. So the overall price is a bit over $60 000 for a Chevrolet Volt. (more…)

  • 2011 Porsche Cayenne Diesel will hit the US market

    The diesel powered cars aren’t very popular in the United States. The first reason is the cheap gasoline, especially in some states. For example, a liter gasoline in the United States is around $0.60 (less than 0.50 Euro) and a liter gasoline in Germany is around 1.50 Euro, so you make the maths. That is the main reason for everybody in the US to drive enormous V8 engines and dont care about the environment and fuel consumption.

    The second reason is that the diesel fuel is not so common in the US. There is diesel at almost every gas station in Europe. (more…)

  • BMW i100 Coupe Active Hybrid is the rival of Audi e-Tron

    Recently, the electric sports cars are very fashionable. Audi revealed e-Tron and BMW can’t watch with indifference, so they started to prepare i100 Coupe ActiveHybrid, which will be a direct rival of Audi e-Tron.

    The power system of BMW i100 Coupe ActiveHybrid, which is planned to be launched in 2013 is a three-cylinder direct injected petrol engine and two electric motors. The estimated overall power will be around 265-285hp. (more…)
