The performance package from Romeo Ferraris includes – ECU remap, a new sport exhaust system and adjustable coilover suspension.
The engine is Romeo Ferraris C63 AMG is the well-know 6.2 liter V8, but now with 540bhp (403kW), instead of the factory 457bhp (341 kW). The excellent results are achieved by replacing all the exhaust fittings with high performance components, including the manifold. (more…)
2011 Nissan X-trail hits the market in the UK. The SUV has already started selling and the first deliveries are set to begin this month.
There are some updates on the exterior and interior and the manufacturer also reduced its CO2 emissions. The entry level 2011 Nissan X-trail Ascenta is priced at £23 995 and it offers very good value for money. The standard equipment includes body colored electrically adjusting door mirrors, privacy glass, automatic headlamps and wipers, front fog lamps and 17” alloy wheels. (more…)
The new CLS is officially unveiled at the Paris Motor Show. The car looks completely different from the previous model and according to our opinion, it is much uglier. The old Mercedes CLS had its own unique style, which is lost with the new one.
2011 Mercedes-Benz CLS features flared wheel arches, a sloping roofline, and optional LED headlights. The interior includes leather upholstery, wood trim, and bright metal accents. Nothing special and that is what dissapointed us. (more…)
Maybach 57S Coupe by Xenatec has been unveiled. The car is designed by Burch Fred Hardt, who is exactly the same person, who created Exelero Concept.
57S Coupe boasts unique styling and superb interior. There is no doubt, that this is the most luxurious Coupe in the wolrd of cars. The conversation seem to be extremely difficult, because the company – Xenatec pushed the B-pillar back 508mm (20 inches) and increased the curvature of the roof by installing more loose A- and C-pillars. DS4 have been unveiled by Citroen at the Paris Motor Show. Full details and photos had been previously released by the company. Furthermore, they promise that more DS models are on the way.
Citroen DS4 is coming with two diesel engines – 1.6 liter HDi 110 and an HDi 160. Both variants are available with e-HDi technology which features a fuel-saving Stop/Start system.
The petrol versions are three – 1.6 VTi 120, the THP 155 and a new THP 200 – a 1.6 liter turbocharged power plant with 200 PS and 275Nm. (more…)
Porsche has unveiled the 911 GTS at the Paris Motor Show. The car is produced to fulfil the empty space between Carrera S and GT3.
The GTS model features a modified front bumper, revised side skirts, wider rear fenders, taken from the Carrera 4 and 19” RS Spyder wheels. The interior has slight changes – sport seats, a SportDesign steering wheel and acres of Alcantara.
Porsche 911 GTS is powered by 3.8 liter with specially developed intake manifold with six vacuum-controlled tuning flaps and a sport exhaust system. (more…)
Audi Quattro Concept have been exhibited at the Paris Motor Show. The vehicle is painted in red, black and white as the early 1980s Audi rally cars. It boasts a number of high performance features not seen on the main concept vehicle.
The ventilated hood, the massive front lip spoiler, changes around the wheels and polycarbonate racing windows show that the concept is a pure performance car. Another feature is the big rear wing and the huge center-locking 20” alloy wheels. (more…)
Another vehicle from Lotus at the Paris Motor Show – 2015 Lotus Elise. Although, most of the company’s cars look the same, they are much different. The new Elise features shark-inspired styling, floating taillights, and a number of carbon fiber components. The chassis is made entirely from aluminum for extra weight saving and improved handling.
The small car is powered by 2.0 liter supercharged four-cylinder engine with 300PS (221kW) and an option for 350PS (257kW). (more…)
2012 Nissan GT-R have been unveiled at the Paris Motor Show. The car is facelift version of the old GT-R, which is considered to be the best track car of all times.
Some of the features are the center-mounted rear LED fog light to comply with EU rules. It also has more glossy black center section around the license plate and headlamps washers than the prototype.
There is no further information about the engine, but the expected number is 540PS. 2012 Nissan GT-R also boasts upgraded braking system, chassis and suspension. There is a new rear diffuser is also added at the rear bumper. (more…)
Lotus revealed their Elan at the Paris Motor Show. The car looks a lot like Honda CRZ, but the performance is rather better.
Lotus Elan is powered by 4.0 liter V6 with 450PS and 465Nm of torque. The mighty engine is mated with 7-speed DCT gearbox, which delivers the power to the rear wheels. The weight of Elan is just 1 295 kg (2 855 lb), so it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds and the top speed is 310km/h (193 mph). The company reports that there will be a hybrid variant of Elan, which will have emissions of just 199 g/km of CO2. (more…)
Ferrari SA Aperta – 599 Roadster is exhibited at the Paris Motor Show. The car is built specially for celebrating Pininfarina’s 80th anniversary.
It is powered by a monster – 6.0 liter V12 with 670PS (493kW) and 620Nm (457lb-ft) of torque. Besides the massive weight – 1705kg, it accelerates from 0-100km/h in 3.6 seconds and the top speed is 325km/h (202mph).

MINI Countryman WRC debuted at the Paris Motor show, yesterday. The car is not created just for fun, but it will marks its entry into WRC and will compete in the World Rally Championship next year -2011.
MINI Countryman WRC is powered by 1.6 liter turbocharged engine. The development of the car started back in 2009 and it recently began its race-conditions testing at the Prodrive rally track.
