  • Mansory BMW X6 M – Power over vision

    Mansory has already released a tuned version of BMW X5 M and now it is turn to X6 M.

    The SAC received aerodynamic package consisting of a new front spoiler with bigger air intakes, a lightweight carbon-fiber bonnet with air vents to cool the engine, a revised side skirts, rear diffuser, a rear spoiler lip and a roof spoiler. The wide-body kit adds 70mm at the front wheel arches and 80 mm at the back to the tuned BMW X6 M.

    The performance package includes stainless-steel sport exhaust system with the quad-pipes integrated into the rear diffuser, new exhaust manifold and ECU re-map. The result is whopping 670 PS (493 kW) and 950 Nm of torque, which is an improvement of 115hp and 270 Nm of torque. (more…)

  • 2014 Volkswagen Golf Blue-E-Motion – Zero emissions car

    Golf blue-E-motion will hit the market in 2014, if the world doesn’t end in 2012 as Inca people believed.

    The electric version of the most popular car in Europe will be powered by 115PS (85 kW) motor with 270 Nm of torque. However, the continuous power output stands at 69PS (50 kW) through the front-wheel drive.

    The battery pack has an energy capacity of 26.5 kWh and provides a driving range of 150 km.
    Golf blue-E-motion accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 11.8 seconds and tops 135 km/h, which is not bad at all. (more…)

  • Audi A1 with KW coilover suspension kit

    Better handling and comfort for Audi A1 by KW. The suspension specialists now offer a special tuning kit for A1, which starts at just 179 Euro for Spring kit and Coilover kit for just 799 Euro.

    The TUV-tested coilovers have to offer at any lowering range, which can vary between 15 and 50mm.

    KW Variant 1 is the basic model, which is priced at 799 Euro including VAT. The stainless steel “inox-line” for Variant 1 is available for 899 Euro. (more…)

  • Wimmer Mercedes C63 AMG – just BRUTAL!

    Mercedes C63 AMG is one of our favourite cars because of its brutality. The enormous 6.2 liter naturally aspirated V8 delivers 450hp at 6800RPM and 600Nm of torque. The monster goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and tops 320 km/h, if you are brave enough.

    However, Wimmer decided that this is not enough and they boosted the engine to the whopping 580hp and 690Nm of torque. The results are thanks to a K&N CAI, a re-mapped ECU, a custom exhaust system. The sports exhaust system consists of a new manifold with a down pipe, a sports catalyst and an optimized cat-back.   • Audi A1 1.4 TSI by HS Motorsport

    HS Motorsport teamed up is Autohaus Kempen to refine the small hot hatchback Audi A1 1.4TSI.

    The vehicle is powered by 1.4 liter TSI engine with 122PS ( 90kW ) and 200Nm of torque. However, the tuning specialists boosted it to 147PS ( 108 kW ) and 250 Nm, which is significant improvement for such a small car.

    Other upgrades are the silver paintjob, a Fox Sport exhaust system with aggressive tailpipes, which are housed in a rear diffuser. The rear bumper is also specially designed.

    The suspension is also improved by adding a coilover kit from H&R, which lowers the car with 55mm at the front and 60mm at the rear. (more…)

  • 2012 Mercedes CLS Shooting Brake goes into production

    Mercedes-Benz CLS Shooting Brake Concept was introduced at the 2010 Beijing Auto Show and the good news is that it goes into production. It will be assembled in the Mercedes-Benz Plant Sindelfingen and available as 2012 model.

    Currently, this factory produces the C-Class Sedan, the E-Class Sedan and Estate, the S-Class and the coupes CLS and CL as well as the Maybach models and Mercedes-Benz Guard vehicles.

    Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG will be also produced in the same plant as well as the B-Class eCell. Starting 2014, the new Mercedes-Benz SL-Class will also be manufactured in Sindelfingen. (more…)

  • Audi RS3 – 350PS and 450Nm

    Audi RS3 will be available and it will feature boosted version of the 2.5 liter R5 TFSI, which was first introduced in the TT RS model. The engine will deliver 350PS and 450Nm of torque, which is an improvement of 10PS. The power plant features turbocharger and fuel stratified injection.

    Audi RS3 will be fitted with 7-speed S-tronic dual-clutch gearbox with paddle shifters. The power will be transmitted to the road through Audi’s 4WD system – Quattro.

    The top speed will be 310 km/h (192 mph), but there will be electronically set speed limiter to 250 km/h (155 mph) due to safety reasons. The acceleration is just astonishing – 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds. (more…)

  • Audi Q7 refined by Project Kahn

    Audi Q7 is one of the best SAVs on the market, so Project Kahn now offers a tuning kit for it.  The wide body kit includes front wing wheel arches with vents, redesigned front and rear bumpers and nice side skirts. The big vehicle stands on 22″ Kahn RS-X alloy wheels, which complete the aggressive exterior.

    The interior boasts black quilted leather with contrasting red-stitching, red and cream-colored dials, a red and white speedometer, aluminum foot pedals and a panoramic glass roof. (more…)

  • COBRA N+ goodies for Nissan Juke

    Nissan Juke will be one of the best selling cars during the next year and Cobra N plus offer some goodies to improve the styling. The customized car will celebrate its world debut on November 11th, 2010, at the MY CAR tuning show in Dortmund, Germany.

    The tuning program from Cobra N+ offers COBRA N+ CITYGUARD, which is attached to the underside of the front apron. The high-gloss stainless-steel tube guard protects the front apron against minor damages from inadvertent contact with curbs or other obstacles like … cars. (more…)

  • 2010 Brazilian Grand Prix – Results

    Red Bull made it, they finally managed to secure their first place in constructors world championship, after this Sunday at Interlagos.

    “To do this after six seasons is great,” commented team boss Christian Horner on BBC.

    Mark Webber finished second in Brazil and he is 8 points behind Fernando Alonso. Remember, that there is only one race to go – Abu Dhabi finale.

    Sebastian Vettel stole the first position and now he is 15 points behind the leader and Lewis Hamilton finished in 4th place, so he is 24 points behind. (more…)

  • 2010 Audi A4 2.0TDI averaged 53.46mpg

    The TDI engines of VAG are famous with their efficiency. They offer both good performance characteristics and low fuel consumption, but the best-selling A4 model from Audi stunned everybody by achieving just 4.4 liters of diesel per 100km, which is more than 53mpg. The emissions are superbly low too – 115g/km of CO2. Furthermore, the A4 avant with the same engine returns over 51mpg and 120g/km of CO2.

    The engine is 2.0 liter TDI with 136hp (100 kW) and 320Nm (236 lb-ft) of torque, which is available between 1750 nd 2500RPM. The massive torque is the key to the low fuel consumption. (more…)
