Jaguar XF diesel [spy]

Jaguar XF will benefit from a new 2.2 litre diesel with 190PS and 450Nm (332 lb-ft). The superbly efficient power unit returns 52.3 mpg on combined cycle and just 149 g/km of CO2.

The engine is four-cylinder 16-valve common rail diesel with 2 179 cc of displacement. It features a water-cooled turbocharger with low-friction pistons, new injectors and a new crankshaft. There are also a new oil pan and new electronic systems affecting the crankshaft to allow the new intelligent Stop-Start system to operate more efficiently.

i-Stop-Start will reduce the time spent in the shutdown and start-up phase. Along with it, there is an advanced 8-speed ZF automatic gearbox.

The acceleration is satisfying – 0 to 100 km/h in 8.5 seconds and a top speed of 225 km/h (140 mph).

Jaguar XF diesel will be announced at the New York Auto Show.

2011 Porsche Panamera Turbo S

Porsche Panamera Turbo S hits the market. The sports four-door coupe will have its official debut at the New York Auto Show or at Shanghai Auto Show.

Panamera Turbo S is powered by a 4.8 liter V8 bi-turbo engine with 550PS (405 kW) and 800Nm (590 lb-ft). 0 to 100 km/h takes 3.8 seconds and the top speed is 306 km/h (190 mph). The improvement is 50PS and 100Nm over the standard Panamera Turbo. The result is thanks to a new titanium-aluminum turbines and an ECU re-map. Still, Panamera Turbo S needs 11.3 liters for 100 km.

The car stands on 19” wheels fitted with Michelin low roll-resistance tires. The company also offers 20” set of wheels.

2011 Porsche Panamera Turbo S includes PDCC (Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control) and SCPT (Sport Chrono Package Turbo) as standard.

The price tag is 167 076 EURO.

BMW E92 M3 Matte Edition

BMW has unveiled a special E92 M3 Matte Edition for Chinese market. The sports coupe is finished in black or gray and boasts a staggering appearance with black chrome accents, red brake calipers and 19” alloys.

The interior has a lot of carbon fiber, black leather upholstery with red contrast stitching – just a perfect combination.

The engine stays untouched, but the performance it delivers is more than satisfying. A 4.0 liter V8 with 420PS (309 kW) and 400Nm (295 lb-ft). It is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 4.6 seconds and the top speed is around 300 km/h, but for safety reasons is electronically limited to 250 km/h (155 mph).

The price is of an original BMW E92 M3 is € 72 900 and we are eager to see, how it will cost in China.

Peugeot RCZ Nokia

RCZ is one of our favourite cars and Peugeot has introduced a special edition of the coupe. The RCZ Nokia is co-developed with the company and will take a part in various events across Europe in 2011.

Team Peugeot RCZ Nokia will race in the whole VLN 2011 championship as well as in the legendary 24 Hours of Nurburgring in the D1T category. This is the second car, which will compete at the Nurburgring 24 Hour race. In 2010, the RCZ took Michael Bohrer and Stephane Caillet to their 1st and 3rd podium places of the 24 hour endurance race. Excellent performance!

Peugeot RCZ Nokia is powered by 2.0 HDi FAP engine with 200HP. The race car will also include a huge wing, new rims fitted with slick tires and a roll cage too for additional strength and safety.

Mercedes Sprinter Brilliant Van

Here is a special edition of Mercedes-Benz Sprint, which is tuned according to the taste of an American businessman. The vehicle is prepared by Brilliant Transportation, which was founded last year to provide luxurious and comfortable transportation to a host of clients.

The exterior of the tuned Sprint is not something amazing, but the real deal is inside the vehicle. It boasts hardwood floors, large leather seats, refrigerators, stowaway desks for working on and built-in cabinets for storage. On the top of this, Brilliant Van comes with not one, but two 32” flat-screen TVS with satellite Direct TV service, 3G WiFi, color printers and a conference-call system.

Moreover, the Brilliant Van has a maximum range of 644 km (400 miles), which is more than enough.

Chrysler S Concepts at LX Festival

Chrysler has introduced three S concept cars at the Spring Festival of LXs in Irvine, California.

The first one is 300 S, which features a new grille, tinted headlights and a lip spoiler on the trunk. It also comes without chrome trim, but with nice alloys. The interior has slight changes and includes red leather upholstery with contrast stiching.

The second is 200 S Convertible, which gained a gloss black grille, also tinted headlights and enormous 18” alloy wheels. The interior boasts black leather upholstery and a superb audio system from Boston Acoustics.

Last, but not least is the Town & Country S concept, which includes a mesh grille, some silver accents and again leather upholstery. Like the last one comes as a standard for the S models.

However, all these cars will go in production in 2011 and the company will soon release more information about them.

Wald Mercedes CLS W218

Wald International has released a styling package for the new Mercedes-Benz CLS-class alongside the tuning of the BMW 5-Series F10.

The body kit of the CLS includes an aggressive front bumper, ventilated fenders and aerodynamic side skirts. Probably, the rear bumper is also revised, but the tuning company didn’t release any pictures of it.

However, the suspension is lowered and a huge wheels are added to complete the exterior of the four-door coupe.

The new CLS is not so attractive as the old one, but Wald made it way better. The car is included in the Black Bison series of the tuning company.

There is no information about the prices, so stay tuned!

Wald BMW 5 Series F10

Wald International are ready with a styling package for the new 2011 BMW 5 Series F10. However, the company will soon release performance and interior upgrades.

The body kit includes extended wheel arches, new side skirts, a rear apron, roof spoiler and boot lid lip. The front bumper is redesigned, too. It features new apron, with large air intakes and integrated LED lights. The rear bumper is restyled a has with a set of elliptical exhaust tips.

The stance of the car is just gorgeous, because of the custom suspension system.

Price list is not announced, yet.

F1: 2011 Australian Grand Prix – Sebastian Vettel is the winner

Sebastian Vettel won the 2011 Australian Grand Prix. He had huge battle with Lewis Hamilton, but he managed to create a 2.4 second lead at the end of the opening lap.

As you may suggest – Lewis Hamilton became second, who finished 22 seconds behind the winner and third is Vitaly Petrov, who was faster than Fernando Alonso with a second. The Russian took a risky move with only two pit stops, but as we can see, it was a brilliant one.

Fernando Alonso had a very bad start and was at 9^th place, but he recovered and finished at the seventh position after just two laps. After that he benefited from a penalty given to Jenson Button, so he grabbed fifth place. In the end of the race, Alonso managed to overtake Webber and finished for 4^th place.

Wunschel Sport Volkswagen Golf VI GTI

Wunschel Sport has introduced a special tuned version for the 35th birthday of the Golf GTI. The anniversary model based on the current 6th generation GTI, which features 2.0 liter turbocharged petrol engine.

Wunschel Golf GTI is boosted to 260HP and 360Nm of torque, instead of the factory 210HP and 280Nm. The results are thanks to an ECU re-map. 0 to 100 km/h takes 6.4 seconds and the top speed is 255 km/h.

The car also comes with huge 19” OZ Racing Quaranta alloy wheels fitted with high-performance tires. The wheels are very interesting, they feature an offset combination of five-spoke and cross-spoke designs.

Wunschel GTI has the same titanium shade as the first GTI, which was introduced back in 1976.

The price tag is €32 800.

Mercedes-Benz Zetros 6X6 truck

Mercedes-Benz are famous with manufacturing not only road cars, but heavy duty machines like this one – Zetros 6×6 truck. The vehicle is specially produced for several customers in Mongolia. However, all units have already been delivered to Ulan-Bator, where two businessmen friends collected them.

Zetros is not only the ultimate off-road machine, but it also features extreme luxury like a bathroom with heated marble floors and two large flat-screen TVs – one for the sleeping berth and one for the seating area. The truck also has an on-board generator, a shower, a safe for valuables and a gun-safe for the hunting firepower. Practically, everything that you need, when you go hunting.

Mercedes Zetros is powered by a 7.2 liter in-line 6-cylinder engine with an output of 326PS (240 kW) and 1300 Nm (959 lb-ft) of torque. The engine is mated to either G 131-9 nine-speed manual box as standard and a six-speed automatic as an option. The power is sent to three mechanical differential locks on every axle. Zetros has a curb weight of 25 tonnes.

Zetros is a pure fun vehicle!
