Mopar’s Garage at Chicago Auto Show

Mopar’s garage will be exclusively featured by Chrysler at this year’s Chicago Auto Show. There will be exhibit of Mopar parts and accessories for the company’s Dodge Dart, Fiat 500 and 2013 SRT Viper.

In total 300 selected Mopar performance parts and accessories will be shown all paying tribute to customization. In fact, Chrysler and Mopar offer more than 500 000 quality-tested parts and accessories worldwide. Now, the brand will show how customers can personalize three of its new vehicles and furnish their garage in full Mopar style.

Furthermore, inside of the Mopar garage will be the recently teased Mopar ’13 (at the show it will make its debut) as well as a fully Moparized 2013 SRT Viper. Additionall, there will be put an accent on both NHRA 2012 championship trophies won by Pro Stock driver Allen Johnson and Funny Car racer Jack Beckman.

Revitalized: D2Forged Lamborghini Murcielago CV2

D2Forged Lamborghini Murcielago CV2 is a tuning which is needed to be observed more thoroughly. The Murcielago is one of the most iconic supercars that have been produced in the past ten years and it definitely could be named a “dream car”.

The famous Lamborghini model made its debut back in 2002 in North America and back then it was the most powerful vehicle of the line ever produced. Thanks to its V12 engine it produces 670 hp (493 kW) which meant that it’s carbon fibery body is capable of accelerating from standstill to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 2.9 seconds.

The timeless design of the Murcielago in the present case was enhanced by D2Forged via adding brand new wheels. The new set of clean, sporty and aggressive D2FORGED CV2 Shallow Concave wheels have been finished in a full blacked out color scheme, with a color-matched outer pinstripe and hand painted “D2″ centercap small details in Lamborghini’s Arancio Borealis finish.

Although this is very simple enhancement you can see how it affects the overall appearance of the supercar. Thanks to it the latter is revitalized, and ready to “rock-n-roll”! 2013 SR Auto BMW M6 Gets More Aggressive Stance

2013 SR Auto BMW M6 is a master piece carrying the heart of the new M6 model combined with the enhancements done by SR Auto Group on it. 2013 F12 M6 is powered by twin-turbo V8 4.4-liter engine that generates 560 hp (412 kW) and 680Nm (502 lb-ft) of torque.

This unit is matched with a seven-speed M Double Clutch Transmission. The acceleration time for the BMW, regarding the great amount of power, is 4.2 seconds for the 0-100 km/h sprint. The top speed here is of 250 km/h (155 mph) and of course is electronically limited.

The brand new black BMW M6 has powerful stance thanks to its huge fenders. In addition, this was the reason for SR Auto team to give the car wheels with large profiles and wide widths. They have selected the PUR 4OUR Depth design in a staggered 21×9.5″ for the front and 21×10.5″ for the rear.

The wheels are finished with a modern black face and gloss Lumiere grey lip. At last, the rear wheels include a deep concave profile resulting in more aggressive and sporty stance.

Kahn Reveales Land Rover Defender Military Edition Concept

Kahn Land Rover Defender Concept Military Edition gives a sense of power. It looks unstoppable with its excellent ground clearance, grip levels and good axle articulation. The Defender is adorned with a brand new utilitarian and aggressive looking wide track arch kit.

The latter comprises of lightweight extended wide wheel wings with integrated vents, embossed Kahn feature, vented headlight surrounds, side vents with mesh, bonnet vents with mesh, clear rear light lenses, clear side repeaters, clear front light lenses, crosshair headlights, Kahn prototype wing blades, Kahn prototype tailgate badge and Kahn oval tailgate badge.

What is more, going beyond the exterior styling package, there were added measures that protect passengers, such as layers of armored plates underneath the bodywork of the vehicle and special bulletproof glass which replaces the windows.

Furthermore, this Military Edition Concept will run on state-of-the art 8”x16” 1948 Defender wheels. They are finished in matte black and fit all original centre caps. In addition, its simple clean lines, soft organic surfaces on the edge of the spoke and a purposeful mechanical centre, the 1948 Defender wheels are synonymous with elegance and innovation.

Volkswagen is spreading a vibe of positivity through its latest campaign named “Get In. Get Happy”. The brand has just unveiled the highly awaited commercial, which you can view below and will air in the second quarter of the Big Game.

In fact, this is the fourth consecutive year that Volkswagen participates with an ad on Game Day. “Get In. Get Happy.” campaign is created with the aim to bring about more joy to the daily routine of the viewers.

In short the advertisement shows the how a man brightens up his dreary office environment with a positive attitude and inexplicable Caribbean accent. He definitely manages to spread a lighthearted and energetic atmosphere throughout his office. But the core of the ad is that it represents the positive energy and sunny disposition that only the Beetle and Volkswagen can deliver.

Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse Debuts at the 2013 Qatar Motor Show

Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse Special Edition – the most powerful roadster ever, is going to be presented for the first time in the Middle East region. The unique “Bianco” and “New Light Blue” coloured vehicle is going to make an official appearance at the 2013 Qatar Motor Show.

The exterior colors of the model were inspired by the famous Type 37A built in 1928, which won multiple Grand Prix races in its time and is now owned by Jay Leno. Furthermore, this Bugatti shows remarkable figures as no other vehicle: it has a maximum torque of 1500 Nm (1107 lb-ft) (at 3,000–5,000 rpm) and a maximum output of 1200 hp (882 kW) which is reached at 6,400 rpm.

The reason for these astonishing numbers is the 7.9-liter capacity of the W16 engine. And within the instant of the 2.6 seconds, the Veyron has already covered the acceleration sprint from 0 to 100 km/h. The top speed here is of 410 km/h (255 mph) and makes the four-wheel drive Vitesse the fastest production roadster ever.

There has been 199 hp (146 kW) increase over the Grand Sport which were achieved by the utilization of four larger turbochargers with new intercoolers. In addition, the brand has reinforced all drivetrain components in order to safely transfer the immense forces at all times. The fuel system with a four-pump tank has been taken from the Super Sport.

Furthermore, the chassis of the Vitesse was reconfigured: the quick-responding dampers were adapted from motor racing, the control of the vehicle was further improved and balanced, reconfigured ESP was included, and the dynamic natural frequency was reduced.

In addition, what is new here is the new roof spoiler for the Vitesse that significantly reduces wind noise and buffeting in the interior. In addition to this there is a new windbreak for the roadster which can be stored away compactly in the luggage compartment when not in use.

To go further into details, numerous aerodynamic measures at the front and rear have been adapted for the Vitesse from the Super Sport. Consequently, the front end is therefore includes larger air intakes.

The two central air intakes to the left and right of the radiator grille, bottom air vent, newly designed front spoiler, improved xenon headlights from the Super Sport framed in black all contribute to the extremely masterful stance of the car. Also derived from the Super Sport is the rear end, and it includes a double diffusor and a centrally positioned twin tailpipe.

How about the interior? Pure carbon fibre along with stainless metals such as aluminium and magnesium can be seen dominating it. For instance, the centre console extension, a cover with EB logo in the rear-bulkhead leather trim (between the seat backrests) and the belt outlet covers on the seats are all made from carbon.

In addition, from the same materials are made the décor on the centre console, the door inserts and the adjoining trim on the instrument panel. What is more, an accent of contrasting stitching featured on the leather armrest between the seats gives a sense of exclusiveness.

More importantly, what is new here are the knee pads in the centre tunnel area, the additional 12 V socket (in the glove compartment), the restraint systems, the illuminated start and parking lock button, an instrument cluster with shift-up information and the power gauge.

Chrysler Teases Mopar ’13 Limited Edition

Chrysler Mopar ’13 Limited Edition will be shown for the first time next month at the 2013 Chicago Auto Show. However, the brand has shown part of its outstanding interior with an exclusive teaser image.

The model follows the Mopar ’10 Dodge Challenger, Mopar ’11 Dodge Charger and Mopar ’12 Chrysler 300. In addition, Chrysler promises that the Mopar ’13 will be the perfect canvas for personalization and customization.

All that we know so far is what kind of Mopar treatment the car will include. First of all there will be vehicle-information applications, traditional owner manuals in a DVD and brief user-guide format (the information will be also included in Spanish), Wi-Fi which will make the vehicle a hot spot, wireless charging for portable devices.

Subaru BRZ RA Racing Enters Production

Subaru BRZ RA Racing is not only going to enter production but also is set to compete in the GAZOO Racing 86/BRZ Race in Japan. Subaru‘s racing model will be exclusively built only for the Japanese market.

The model is based on the RA specification but it includes improved brake performance, Torsen LSD equipment and air-cooled engine oil cooler. Furthermore, there are also safety features such as six-point roll cage and four point seat belt.

The major equipment of the BRZ RA Racing includes the following: front and rear ventilated disc brakes, brake ducts, dedicated and dedicated brake back plate, Torsen LSD (limited-slip differential), engine oil cooler, 4-point seat belt certified (FIA).

The racing vehicle is exclusively designed for competition and is equipped with point roll cage, manual air conditioning, Special “86 Racing” floor mats, TAKATA 4 point harnesses.

Kia Adds Versatility to the Picanto Line Up

2013 Kia Picanto has been unveiled to the world in October last year, showing new exciting looks and features. Now the Picanto line-up is going to be offered in exclusive new color named “Fuchsia Blush” (to say it more simply – in pink).

The “girly” model will be available on the five-door model on grades “2” and “3” and will keep all of the characteristics of the main Picanto such as 14” alloy wheels, chrome door handles, heated door mirrors and front fog lights.

Additionally, Kia is adding to the range the new Picanto “White”, which will be available on the three-door model. This is a high-tech addition to the range, which is set to replace the top-specification models “Halo” and “Equinox”.

Basically, this means that the “White” Edition is the new top of the range. It is fitted with five-spoke 15” alloy wheels, Engine Start/Stop with Smart Entry System as well as Bluetooth and automatic air conditioning, and reversing sensors.

The exterior of the car is emphasized via black tiger-nose grille with a quirky red surround. Regarding the interior, there are included leather trim steering wheel and steering wheel mounted controls, “Hollywood style” vanity mirror with a three-stage illumination feature sequence and ambient LED lighting.

Picanto “White” is going to be powered by a 84 hp (62 kW) engine mated to a five-speed manual ISG gearbox or to a four-speed automatic one.

Hofele Audi Q7 Strator GT 780 Shows Sportive Elegance

Hofele Audi Q7 Strator GT 780 has been equipped with versatile accessory program which enhances its exclusivity and makes it more dynamic. In addition, the Audi gets individual character conveying a sporty elegance.

To be more precise, the front bumper of the Q7 is entirely replaced by a new one, which includes big air intakes and four additional lamps. To make it even more impressive, the lines of the SUV were underscored by the emotional wheel arch extensions. In addition, it expresses more powerful stance thanks to the combination of the new four oval tailpipes and the wide rear apron diffusor.

Furthermore, the Strator GT’s interiro has been also enhanced. Inside, Hofele-Design gave the Q7 a bi-colour leather treatement with stitched elements and ornamental seams. The seats, the door elements, the front and rear arm rests and the steering wheel were also covered with the same material.

But the transformation doesn’t stop here and continues with the enhancements regarding the dynamics of the car. The tuning team has given the vehicle new set of shoes comprising of the so called REVERSO II wheels in the sizes 9,0×20“ and 10,0×22“ at the front and the rear respectively.

Additionally, an electrical lowering module lowers and lifts the Q7 speed-related. How this works: while standing and driving up to 80km/h the SUV is lowered with40mm and when the speed exceeds 80km/h the serial height is restored to provide the full safety and comfort.

What is more, Hofele-Design increased the power of the 3.0 TDI Diesel engine from

245 hp (180 kW) to 318 hp (234 kW) and the torque from 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) to 599 Nm (442 lb-ft).

Mercedes-Benz Starring in the Latest “Die Hard” Film [VIDEO]

Mercedes-Benz is going to be represented with 14 different models in the new film “A Good Day to Die Hard” – the latest movie in the famous “Die Hard” series. Some of them are the G-Class, Sprinter, Unimog and Zetros and they all will help Bruce Willis to save the world.

His famous character – John McClane, finds himself in Moscow to help his wayward son Jack. Both get involved with the Russian underworld in pursuit, and battling a countdown to war. Eventually the two of them end up discovering the ways of becoming heroes again.

The luxury brand has a strong presence in the film, and in addition will be supporting the premiere screenings in London and Berlin by providing an exclusive shuttle fleet for the film’s actors and VIP guests.

The fleet of Mercedes-Benz vehicle used in the film range from the C-Class to the Zetros, E-Class Saloon as well as the new G 63 AMG, a GL-Class and a Maybach 57, and they all perfectly complement the beautiful scenery of the streets of Moscow. It is no surprise however that the brand was chosen to “act” in the future blockbuster, Mercedes-Benz vehicles are synonym for safety, performance and distinctive design.

“A Good Day to Die Hard” will be in theaters worldwide from 14th of February.

Next Steps Towards Production: McLaren P1 Development Car [VIDEO]

McLaren P1 debuted as a Concept study at 2012 Paris Motor Show in September. Back then it provoked great interest and a eager anticipation for its official release. Since then, the development of the technology beneath the carbon fibre skin has continued in full speed.

McLaren Automotive is currently subjecting it under testing programme. The final aim of the brand is to create the best driver’s car in the world on road and track. Below is disclosed a short video which gives the most detailed view of the production McLaren P1.

Here, the great performance against aggressive targets was developed with the utilization of CFD (computational fluid dynamics) aerodynamic modelling and bespoke Formula 1™-derived dynamics simulation tools. This was even achieved before the first prototype builds.

Furthermore, a fleet of XP-codenamed vehicles is being put through the most demanding conditions and on roads and circuits across the globe. In the process McLaren team of specialist were also helped from Akebono on a highly-efficient braking system, Pirelli on high performance tyres and Mobil 1 on leading cooling, lubrication and hydraulic fluids.

The result is this remarkable vehicle with outstanding road and track dynamics and performance, coupled with levels of drivability and unprecedented refinement. In other words, everything included in it is designed for a reason.

In the same manner the P1 was made the striking camouflage being worn on the development model. It was designed in-house by the team behind the shape of the car. Its graphic incorporates the outlines of famous circuits from across the world related to McLaren’s history.
