2015 Volkswagen Golf Specified for US To Debut In New York

2015 Volkswagen Golf specified especially for the US market is going to make its first world appearance at this year’s New York International Auto Show. The model promises to deliver roomy interior, exceptional visual stance, less weight, better fuel efficiency, and more safety features.

As a matter of fact this is the seventh-generation Golf and in it is included for the first time new MQB components matrix. First Footage Of The 2014 Range Rover Sport Released [VIDEO]

Land Rover has just released a teaser footage showing an early glimpse of Land Rover’s most dynamic vehicle ever produced. Yes, we are talking about the new 2014 Range Rover Sport, which will make its first world appearance only in two weeks.

The place is New York and the event – 2013 NAIAS. In fact, the new model will be seen on the roads and streets of the famous US city. In the video below, you will se not much of the Range Rover, however it will give you a good idea of the aggressive presence it brings with itself.

The video reveals a glimpse of how the headlamps will look like as well as gives an impression of the sound of the engine under the its hood. Kahn Lamborghini Aventador Finally Revealed

In the beginning of this year we were introduced to an ongoing project which has finally come to its end. We are speaking here about Kahn Design’s work on the challenging Lamborghini Aventador.

The iconic car was transformed literally into on-road fashion statement. The designers have given their magical touch to this Lamborghini putting forward its stunning Rosso red beauty. They have decided to strip the entire vehicle – with the objective of showcasing optimum interior and exterior equilibrium.

The bespoke interior and accessories included here deliver exclusivity and luxury. The arrangement of this most eye-catching yet complex interior certainly does not present one with any functional drawbacks.

The front seats of the Lamborghini are wrapped in nappa leather and further accentuated by white stitching. They are perfectly complmented by the quilted steering wheel with airbags, instrument surround and centre console which are also wrapped in nappa leather.

What is more, the agressive on-road presence of the supercar is enhanced by the Kahn wheels it was equipped with. For the front the tuners used 9 x 20” Kahn santagata wheels and for the rear the same wheels were added in size 13 x 21”. Kahn santagata wheels are finished in hyper or liquid silver and fit all original centre caps.

Carlsson Mercedes-Benz SLK 340 Race Car Revealed In Geneva

Carlsson Mercedes-Benz SLK 340 Race Car is currently being exhibited at this year’s Geneva Motor Show. The latest racing project of the tuning brand Carlsson will celebrate there its world debut.

The unique race car exudes the most modern design and incorporates the lates construction technologies. The model on which it is based is the Mercedes-Benz SLK 340 and in addition it will be entered in national and international hill climb races in Category E1.

The model was announced in the end of January as a newcomer to international motor sport. The car has been constructed on a body shell with the aim of significant reduction of weight.

This goal has been achieved thanks to the extensive utilization of most modern materials such as ultra-lightweight carbon body kit. The end result is that the Carlsson SLK 340 weighs only 780 kilograms. In addition, the aerodynamic parts here contribute towards spectacular appearance and perfect downforce.

Furthermore, the closed underbody is intended to optimize the aerodynamics of the hill climb car. Although there are extensive changes, this Mercedes-Benz in its racing suit with its powerful rear wing looks extremely stylish.

At the heart of the model lies a 3.4 liter V8 engine producing 610 hp (449 kW) with a maximum torque of 430 newton meters (319 lb-ft). Here, Hewland has delivered transmission with a paddle shift. What is more, a 3-way adjustable KW competition suspension is what delivers maximum road holding for the race car on BBS racing wheels which are in sizes 10×18 for the front, and 13×18 for the rear). They have been perfectly matched with AVON tires.

Next, ultra-lightweight materials have been also used in the brake system. The latter provides additional savings in weight. On the other hand, in terms of interior, there are included the special Carlsson racing seats which deliver excellent lateral support. Ssafety cage has also been installed.

VUHL 05: The Road-Legal Lightweight Supercar [TEASER]

You maybe haven’t heard the name VŪHL before. Well, it is time to remember it, because it is of a highly specialist vehicle manufacturer which is going to come out of the dark very soon. The company is set to release its first production vehicle named VŪHL 05, which is a road-legal lightweight supercar.

The model has been precision-engineered for the track and in addition it has been given with astonishing performance. We will see its official debut at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, which will take place between 11th and 14th of July, where it will bring about breath of fresh air to the premium track-day sector.

VŪHL 05 has been kept secret until now. The brand decided to tease the audience and has released a first image which shows the front fascia of the car. 2014 Range Rover Sport Teased!

It has just been announced that the brand new 2014 Range Rover Sport will make its world debut on 26th of March at the New York Auto Show. In addition, a teaser image of it were revealed. This will be Land Rover‘s fastest, most responsive and most agile vehicle ever produced.

Mitsubishi G4 Concept Compact Sedan Debuts In Bangkok [TEASER]

Nissan And Mitsubishi Are Joining Forces In New Minicar Project

Nissan and Mitsubishi are now joining forces and going to produce new minicars for the Japanese market. The names of the new vehicles are Nissan DAYZ and Nissan DAYZ Highway STAR which are going to go on sale in June 2013. In addition, a result of this project will be also the production of Mitsubishi eK Wagon and eK Custom.

The new models will deliver great attributes such as excellent fuel economy and a roomy cabin. Both brand identities of Nissan and Mitsubishi are kept but the eventual outcome is innovative and different designs for their respective minicar.

Nissan’s new models will be recognized under the name of DAYZ, where the “Z” indicates a new way of looking at delivering value to owners as they go about their normal days. The aim is to change standard “everyday” activities into days with added delight by owning one of these cars.

Both DAYZ and DAYZ Highway STAR will deliver driver and occupants dynamic design and quality interior space. On the other hand Mitsubishi Motors are working on creating a second new minicar, a “super height” (tall) wagon, which is planned for launching in early 2014.

Geneva Motor Show: 2014 Infiniti Q50 [VIDEO]

2014 Infiniti Q50 has debuted at the Geneva Motor Show thus making its premiere in Europe. The model will be offered with a choice of diesel or turbocharged petrol four-cylinder engine. In addition, the model will introduce world-first technologies, and will deliver great level of dynamic customization. It will also be available in Hybrid variant.

The Q50 was the first Infiniti Q car to take the Geneva spotlight. To go further into details, the hybrid delivers 364 PS (268 kW) and the diesel version – 2.2d powered by a new 2.2-litre diesel engine. Infiniti’s first four-cylinder diesel unit on the other hand generates 170 PS (125 kW) and 400 Nm (295 kW) of torque, and low emissions starting from below 115g/km of CO2.

In addition, this Infiniti model will include emotive styling with distinctive human eyes-like headlight and ‘Double Arch’ grille. What is more it also comes equipped with world-first technologies such as Direct Adaptive Steering, and a digital environment.

2014 Infiniti Q50 in both diesel and hybrid forms will go on sale in Europe from this fall in a range of standard and Sport models.
