Prior Design Audi R8 GT850 With New Photoshoot

Prior Design Audi R8 GT850 is a tuning we are already familiar with. However it is worth the attention of the new images that the specialists at Prior-Design have released. The Audi R8 has masterful presence thanks to the V10 engine that is equipped with.

In general, the car can accelerate form 0 to100km/h in only 4.1 seconds on its way to a top speed of 194 mph. The power it generates is 525 hp (386 kW) and 530 Nm (391 lb-ft) of torque.

The special Audi R8 PD GT850 Widebody Aerodynamic-Kit developed from the tuners consists of PD GT850 front bumper, PD GT850 front lip spoiler (for PD GT850 front bumper), PD GT850 side skirts, PD GT850 rear bumper, PD GT850 rear diffusor, PD GT850 front fenders, PD GT850 rear widenings, PD GT850 front bonnet, PD GT850 rear trunk spoiler.

Petrolicious: The Last Of The Breed [VIDEO]

Owning one of the rarest cars on earth is more than a privilege. The 1974 Jaguar XK-E in this video is literally the last of its breed, being the 60th from last produced. The proud person who drives this Jaguar is David Paddison, who immediately fell in love when he saw it. And this is the basic line of the story of Petrolicious‘s latest video.

Paddison didn’t grow up in a car-loving family, instead he developed his passion for cars with his friends with whom he grew up racing slot cars before graduating into full-sized versions. His passion today developed in that way that he now collects classic cars.

The E-Type or simply the XK-E was produced between 1961 and 1974, and offered combination of exceptional appearance and high performance. The car was also ranked first in the list of the world’s “100 most beautiful cars” of all time.

To go even further into details, the 1974 version was equipped with 5.3 L V12 engine and included uprated brakes and standard power steering. And as Paddison says himself – this XK-E can not be compared to the contemporary cars, it delivers extremely different driving experience!

D2Forged Teases Novitec Maserati GranTurismo MC

Although we haven’t heard for a while from the tuners at D2Forged Wheels we are now pleased to see a teaser image that they have released of their latest project. It is on already tuned Novitec Maserati Granturismo MC and promises to bring about more on-road thrill.

Novitec Maserati GranTurismo MC is equipped with a special tuning package that offers a SUPERSPORT supercharged engine that generates 650 hp (475 kW) and 623 Nm (460 lb-ft.). This Maserati’s power comes from the 4.7 liter V8 unit, and everything mentioned contributes towards an acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds on the way to a top speed of 306 km/h (190 mph).

Now the specialists at D2Forged are making some modifications on the already tuned version of the GranTurismo MC. They have only revealed with what set of shoes this vehicle will be equipped – namely the D2FORGED CV11 in size 21×13.5″ and fitted with 355mm of Pirelli Gift wrapping. More information around this project is promised to be disclosed soon.

SR Auto Ferrari F12 Berlinetta Shows Masterful Appearance

SR Auto Ferrari F12 Berlinetta is a vehicle that marks a very special moment in SR Auto Groups history. It is the first F12 Berlinetta to be transformed by the tuners. In general this Ferrari is exceptional and shows staggering performance.

F12 Berlinetta is powered by a 6.3 liter 65° V12 engine that is capable of generating 740 hp (544 kW) and 690Nm (509 lb-ft) of torque. These numbers contribute towards an effortless acceleration form standstill to 100 km/h in only 3.1 seconds, while the sprint from 0 to 200 km/h is in 8.5 seconds. The top speed is over 340 km/h (211 mph).

The model here has been transformed thanks to the addition of a stunning set of monoblock forged PUR 9INE wheels. They are finished in a two tone combination of brushed silver and gloss anthracite, and they undoubtedly add more aggressive touch to the classic Rosso Corsa Red exterior paint.

To be more precise they come in the following sizes: 21×9 for the front and 22×12 for the rear, which even more effects in more pronounced exterior presence and masterful appearance.

Spartan V Racer Sets New Standards In Lightweight Performance [VIDEO]

The Australian Spartan Motor Company has just unveiled the updated Spartan V Trackday Racer which comes to set new standards in lightweight performance. The superlight supercar weighs only 500 kg thanks to its construction of carbon fibre and alloy.

The vehicle was designed purely to tear up the track. It was developed in Sydney, in order to appeal to the track car enthusiast. In addition, it is equipped with a four-cylinder engine taken from an Integra Type-R. The unit generates an impressive 186kW (250hp), but also has a supercharged option that develops 300kW (400hp).

Furthermore, the car also includes lightweight shell bucket seats, essential-only interior and CAD suspension and braking components. In general very element that can be found on this car contributes towards a blistering performance.

Spartan V Trackday Racer runs on Yokohama R-spec track tyres, it is super agile and nimble through the turns, reinforcing the maxim of less weight. The has an estimated starting price of $95 000.

Icona Vulcano Teased Ahead Of Shanghai

Almost a month ago Icona Vulcano was teased for the first time. The image which was revealed didn’t show a lot of the car, but made the sportscar fans eager to see more of it. Now, ahead of the official world premiere of the model in Shanghai next week, Icona has disclosed a new teaser image.

From this image we can get a sense of vehicle’s rear end and its exclusive forms and flowing lines. In addition, the Icona Vulcano exibits unique color that carries the name “Red Magma”. The paint was especially developed by the brand in collaboration with Cecomp.

Furthermore, the model aims to bring together different skills and expertise of the Italian tradition. For instance, Icona Vulcano’s front engine will be V12 and will generate up to 900 horsepower (662 kW) through a masterful combination of combustion engine and electric motors.

These numbers speak only of an effortless acceleration time from standstill to 200 km/h in fewer than ten seconds on the way to a Vmax of 350 km/h. We are definitely impatient to see this “prommissing-to-be” outstanding car.

Peugeot 208 T16 Pikes Peak Racer Revealed [VIDEO]

Peugeot 208 T16 Pikes Peak Racer is going to participate at the contest Pikes Peak International Hill Climb on June 30 and behind its wheel will be the nine-time world rally champion Sébastien Loeb. The motorsport vehicle was engineered and designed in order to meet the specific needs of the famous American event.

208 T16 Pikes Peak will compete in the ‘Unlimited’ category. This class is famous with the fact that it allows plenty of technical freedom. This means that this Peugeot is aggressive and ferocious.

It has unique design and the proportions it embodies are very different to those of the production 208. The result is beast-like appearance. Some of the technical constrains here however were in terms of body width and height, location of the wheels and engine.

The sculpted forms of the car undoubtedly combine style and aerodynamic efficiency. 208 T16 Pikes Peak incorporates many distinctive hallmarks of the 208 but at the same time marks a new generation of Peugeot design.

In terms of aerodynamics the car is exceptional. Some of the highlights here, which were disclosed so far, include rear wing, which is that of the Le Mans 24 Hours-winning 908, and the splitter of the car, which gives it its beast-like attitude. Of course, in the body of this 208 predominates carbon fibre.

Stay tuned because the performance potential of Peugeot 208 T16 Pikes Peak will soon be unleashed.

Rolls-Royce Ghost Extended Wheelbase Supports FAB1 Million and Breast Cancer Care

Rolls-Royce Ghost Extended Wheelbase FAB1 is a very special edition vehicle which is created in order to support FAB1 Million and Breast Cancer Care. FAB1 Million project aims to raise £1 million for Breast Cancer Care with the help of this Ghost, which will be available to hire over the next year.

In addition, Rolls-Royce Ghost Extended Wheelbase is set to appear at some exclusive events and all of the proceeds gathered will be donated to Breast Cancer Care. For this case, the special motor car combines numerous exclusive bespoke elements such as pink accented umbrellas and hand-embroidered headrests featuring the Breast Cancer Care pink ribbon motif.

Furthermore, some of the improvements here feature unique ‘FAB1’ treadplates and a Blushing Pink and Crème Light interior leather scheme. An uplit Spirit of Ecstasy adorns the silver satin bonnet.

Of course, being a true Rolls-Royce, the vehicle delivers superior ride experience, ample legroom, hand veneered picnic tables, 9.2 inch LCD screens and a champagne coolbox, ten-channel amplifier and 16 speakers delivering 600 Watts of surround sound, luxurious leather seats and lambswool footmats.

The project will have its start on 18th of April.

GTA Spano At The Top Marques Monaco

GTA Spano will be present at Top Marques Monaco in April. The event is one of the most important luxury automotive fairs in the world and this year it makes its tenth anniversary.

GTA Motor is going to make its fourth participation this year and it is going to showcase the last edition of the GTA Spano. In addition, the supersports will be featured on main poster which will be 9 metres high and located in the Grimaldi Forum Building.

Furthermore, the brand is going to occupy at the event one of the biggest stands. s 80 m2. As a matter of fact, the Top Marques Monaco is the only supercar exhibit with a test track, and the most prestigious brands of watches, yachts, air companies will be on show there.

The main star of the event – GTA Spano is a limited edition luxury supersportscar which is produced in only 99 units. Its engine generates 900 hp (662 kW) and has a electronically limited torque of 1000 Nm (738 lb-ft).

These numbers result in an effortless acceleration 0 to 100 km/h in only 2.9 seconds. The top speed here is estimated of over 350 km/h. Moreover, the chassis of this vehicle has been created by the mixture of carbon fibres, titanium and Kevlar.

2013 Ferrari Xezri Competizione Concept by Samir Sadikhov

2013 Ferrari Xezri Competizione Concept is unique project done by the designer and artist Samir Sadikhov. When we first saw this project we were completely carried away! Just look at the forms of this Ferrari and feel its powerful presence.

As a matter of fact if this project comes to reality it must be the source of supreme level of technology, innovation and distinctiveness. It undoubtedly represents the core of Ferrari, and also mixes brands history and aims for the future. All in all the Xezri Competizione was designed with the goal to be a hyper car which achieves extreme performance.

Therefore it is no wonder that the sporty character of this car includes outstanding exterior and interior features. What has been achieved in the exterior is the increase of the downforce by the extensive use of carbon-fibre and some of the flexible components.

In addition, Xezri Competizione is adorned by vents, splitters and wings. The number 23 can be seen when the car is viewed from one side. What is also visible is that it runs on set of high quality Pirelli P Zero racing wheels, has low center of gravity and an extremely aggressive on-road presence.

Volvo Polestar Racing With New 2013 STCC Program [VIDEO]

The new program 2013 STCC of Volvo Polestar Racing has just been unveiled at a presentation for partners and employees at the Volvo headquarters in Gothenburg. For this motorsport season Polestar’s racing cars have been updated to the new 2014 Volvo S60.

To be more precise, five races in three different teams were selected: Volvo Polestar Racing with Fredrik Ekblom and Thed Björk, Volvo Polestar Performance with Robert Dahlgren and Linus Ohlsson and Volvo Polestar with Prince Carl Philip Bernadotte. Each team’s car has its own unique design done by Prince Carl Philip.

Other news that has leaked ahead of the motorsport season is that half of the race weekends is going to include the traditional STCC format with two races of 20 minutes each. However, four racers will remain and they will feature a single race of 40 minutes.

Furthermore, the qualifying has been also altered. Now it is similar to Formula One’s system. This means it includes three different sessions (Q1 to Q3) where the five fastest drivers gets to decide the grid for the race in the final session (Q3).

The beginning of the STCC season is on 4th of May at Knutstorp, Sweden. The track is very emblematic for Volvo, because the brand has achieved the most number of victories there. Afterwards the season will continue with seven races at tracks like Solvalla in Stockholm, home track Gothenburg City Arena and the season finale at Mantorp Park on the 21st of September.

MG CS Urban SUV Concept To Be Unveiled In Shanghai

MG CS Urban SUV Concept is a stunning new vehicle that is going to be unveiled at the Shanghai Motor Show later this month. The new cutting-edge MG CS Concept aims to contribute to automotive world’s compact SUV sector, with its fashionable and technology cues.

The concept is an effect of the work of a top design team led by MG’s Global Design Director, Anthony Williams-Kenny. Its appearance mixes luxury and the sporting DNA of MG.

Some of the features of the MG CS include striking headlights which have a multi-faceted ‘shard’ structure. The latter refracts light in different colours and shape from the side, but at the same time merges to form brands trademark octagon from the front.

When looked from the side, the CS has extremely distinctive profile, exuding sportiness and youthful appearance. What can be said for sure is that this creative design contributes towards the charisma and overall style of the concept.
