CFC Gives Dodge Viper And BMW 7 Series A Glitter Stance

The wrapping specialists at CFC CarFilmComponents have made two exceptional tunings on a Dodge Viper and a BMW F01 7 Series. They have decided to give a more contemporary look than ever to these two vehicles.

The auto-tuning scene has been dominated the past few years by chromium mostly in terms of rims, the mirror-look. Now, the trend is extending to the surface of the car and the wrapping proffessionals from the German company are proving that. They have given a „glitter“ to both of the automobiles.

The first one – BMW F01 7 Series received a special chromium silver wrap of the 900 series. The BMW was also fitted with the CFC car glass foil in the“platinum style of the X-tra series. The latter has a special characteristic – a metal coating for a high level of heat-repellence.

The next car under the hands of the tuners was the Dodge Viper. In this case it was given a very special wrapping concept for a perfect show effect. This V10 Dodge Rooadster was also fitted with a chromium-silver full wrap of the 900 series. However, it was additionally personalized with an interesting colour mix of black over yellow up until silver.

In addition, the part of the long engine hood was fitted with the CFC design foil in carbon black from the Exterior Style Premium Series for a contrasting effect. Eventually, the car was rounded through the anthracite style car glass wrap of the X-tra series for the glassing.

The tuning of the Viper did not end here. CFC gave it a set of new Schmidt CC-line light alloy rims in size of 19-inchs next to the new KW chassis frame. What is more, there is also a special FOX exhaust system that in terms of sound can effortlessly match the Clarion HiFi system installed by Renato Rivic.

Wheelsandmore Tunes Lamborghini Aventador Roadster And McLaren MP 4-12 C Spider

We have exciting news for the summer from the luxury tuner Wheelsandmore which now is presenting not one but two exquisitely transformed sport vehicles. We are speaking here about the Lamborghini Aventador Roadster and the McLaren MP 4-12 C Spider.

The first supersports car is a true “beast” with two removable roof panels and able to achieve a maximum speed of 350 km/h thanks to its stock 700 hp (515 kW). The latter reason effects in a breath-taking acceleration time of 3 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h.

On the other hand, the McLaren MP4-12C Spider is one of the fastest convertibles ever created. Due to its stock 626 horsepower (460 kW) it can sprint from standstill to 100 km/h in only 3.1 seconds. These facts basically point to the conclusion that both cars offer the best conditions for their pilots through fast navigation and agility.

However the tuners from Germany didn’t find enough all that and have changed the power and performance of both cars. The Lamborghini Aventador Roadster got enhanced performance and now its standard horsepower is increased to 792 hp (582 kW) and 775 Nm (572 lb-ft) of torque. This was achieved via modified software, cat-replacement-kit and valve controlled exhaust with remote-able exhaust flaps.

In addition, the Italian-road-master received bran new set of wheels and tires. The wheels are 6Sporz ultralight handmade forged in sizes 9.5 x20 and 12,5 x21 for the front and rear respectively. They were matched with 255/30/20 front and 355/25/21 rear tires delivered from Pirelli (type P Zero). The exterior has been transformed as well: the entire car was wrapped in navy-dark-gray matte foil and has received a traditional Wheelsandmore racestripe.

Next, the McLaren got also increase in performance. The upgrade done via remapped software and valve controlled exhaust with catalyst replacement pipes resulted in final 700 hp (515 kW) and 650 Nm (480 lb-ft). As the Lamborghini, the MP4-12C Spider now alsso runs on 6Sporz ultralight handmade multipiece forged wheels, which in this case are finished in matte black with orange colored outlines.

They are in sizes 9,5 x20 and 12,0 x21 inches for the front and the rear, respectively, and of course were matched with 255/30/20 and 325/25/21 UHP Continental tires. The exterior finish is in harmony with the firs model – the car was wrapped with matte navy-dark-gray foil, however – received a two-tone finished Wheelsandmore racestripe

DMC Lamborghini Aventador LP700 built by Autoproject-D

DMC Lamborghini Aventador LP700 by Autoproject-D comes to show strength and deliver even more luxurious feel to the fans of the Italian brand. The Japanese tuner Autoproject-D has enhanced DMC’s take even further.

What DMC have created is a styling kit that accentuates the unique expressive front fascia. It now includes a redesigned spoiler sword and a stunning front-splitter lip both made of carbon fiber. They are mounted on the stock-bumper. In addition, the new side skirt diffusers are made with the goal to enhance the overall aerodynamics as well as to bring about better road stability.

To go further into details, the new rear fascia comprises of a lightened carbon fiber diffusor and an added tunnel system. They serve in terms of improving the down force on the rear axle. It is completed by a rear wing spoiler that supports aerodynamics on the rear axle.

The traditional Lamborghini design includes combined overhead throttle valves per cylinder bank. Here DMC has proven its creativity by utilization of 12 unique single intake throttle plates, one per each cylinder. Gasoline pumps and lines, pressure modulators and injection nozzles are replaced by new components.

In addition, the engine electronics are going to be optimized, the electronic load pressure control system and wiring are to be added. It is planned that the unit is going to be rebranded as LP900. It is going to be supported by Titanium Exhaust system that is only one tenth of the weight of the original exhaust system. In other words, can we imagine even more aerodynamically enhanced and faster Lamborghini?

After it has been announced a week ago that Alfa Romeo is entering on the market Limited Editions from the Giulietta range, it is time now to announce that the first of the models is making its debut. We are speaking here about the Alfa Romeo Giulietta FF6 Limited Edition. This particular model, as well as the others to come, is especially built in order to celebrate the launch of the action movie Fast & Furious 6.

Of course, to match the number of the movie, there will be just six Alfa Romeo Giulietta FF6 Limited Editions. To be more precise, the FF6 modification is equipped with 1.4 TB MultiAir 170 hp (125 kW) through which it shows its involvement in the high speed perfectly.

In addition, this vehicle will include a Fast & Furious numbered plaque, corresponding to each film in the franchise and feature also dashboards specially signed by the all-star cast. 2013 SpeedART Porsche Cayman SP81-CR Revealed

2013 SpeedART Porsche Cayman SP81-CR has been in a form of a project for several months. However we are now pleased to be informed by the tuners at SpeedArt that they have worked on it and now they are disclosing the first image of the exquisite Porsche. After 2013 Porsche Cayman 981 made its official world appearance at the Geneva Motor Show this year, SpeedART has worked to deliver this incredible transformation.

Now the tuning company is planning to officially premiere the car at the Tuner Grand Prix at Hockenheim racetrack and then to reveal all the details around it. To go further into details, the tuned Porsche will probably be equipped with one of the following power kits: the 345 hp (254 kW), 360 hp (265 kW) or the 400 hp (294 kW) one.

In addition it includes a sport exhaust systems with design twin tail pipes and optional sound switch. The sporty stance of the vehicle is enhanced by the 21” LSC-FORGED wheels on which it runs effortlessly.

BMW Pininfarina Gran Lusso Coupé Concept has been unveiled after being teased more than ten days ago. The car is a joint work of two brands – BMW and Pininfarina which have blended in this concept cutting-edge technology, style, dynamics and aesthetics.

The vehicle will make its official debut at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este 2013. BMW Pininfarina Gran Lusso Coupé represents the exclusive interpretation of a luxurious BMW Coupé as seen through the eyes of Pininfarina.

The coupe adds a new dimension to exclusivity and it grabs the attention at first glance. Liberal surface areas and taut contours are the characteristics of its elegant car body. It has the typical for BMW proportions – a long wheelbase, stretched bonnet and set-back greenhouse. In addition, the concept car exudes balance and harmony through the mixture of technologies, dynamics and skilled craftsmanship.

The front fascia of the vehicle has broad and wheel-focused stance which radiates sheer presence and dynamics. The emblematic double-kidney grille and the road-focused headlights with their suggested twin circular look is what connect the car with the BMW family. At the same time the distinctive Pininfarina elements have been interpreted with Italian finesse to lend the front end a special flair.

Another highlight is the LED-headlights that create technically premium impression while adding a striking depth. The sporty front apron, the one-piece air intake which is larger at the wheels, draws attention to the car’s wide, sporty track.

When looked from the side, the BMW Gran Lusso Coupé Pininfarina Concept has a powerfully present silhouette. This is due to the taperings on the side that give a dynamic elegance and athletic shape to the body. The the long roof line flows elegantly into the rear to define the short tail end.

On the other hand the rear of the car has a sophisticated stance. The elongated side profile leads to a slender and elegant tail end. Prior Design Range Rover Evoque PD650 Equipped With Widebody Aerodynamic-Kit

The tuners at Prior Design have just unveiled their latest project. This time under their attention is the exceptionally beautiful Range Rover Evoque in white exterior color. The vehicle’s stance is even more purposeful and impressive thanks to the new widebody aerodynamic kit it is equipped with.

All of the elements included in this transformation are made of a quality Dura-Flex FRP. The latter abbreviation stands for Fiber Reinforced Plastic and as we have seen so far it is extensively used by Prior Design. The reason for this is that this material is characterized by an excellent surface finish which delivers enough flexibility. In addition it also offers high stability.

Under the hood of this Range Rover hides the 2.2 TD4 litre diesel engine, which is capable of producing 150 horsepower (110 kW). The unit is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. Bugatti Veyron Police Car Proves To Be Fake

Recently over the internet there was a rumor that the Police Force in Dubai will have their brand new Bugatti Veyron Police Car. Of course, images were revealed showing the supersports car in “Police” modification with all of the stickers, red and blue lights and etc.

However, the global web is not always the place to find the most trustworthy information. And the case with this Bugatti seems to be the same. Yes, the Bugatti Veyron Dubai Police Vehicle is fake. It has been proven via the release of two images, which you can see yourself, and which show that there’s nothing true around the previously released news about the car.

We have been informed about this from the British designer Afzal Kahn and his team via Twitter (we’ll be glad if you follow us there). The designer himself is an owner of six different Bugatti Veyrons and this fact probably explains why it was so easy for him to recognize the glaring photoshoppery.

In fact, A. Kahn Design is one of the most successful tuning companies nowadays and we are always extremely excited to hear and see any news coming from them. Stay tuned!

Mansory Stallone Based On Ferrari F12

Mansory Stallone is an exclusive powerhouse based on the iconic Ferrari F12. The specialists from Germany have proved for another time that they have a really good “know-how” of refining Italian super sports cars.

In the refinement program is featured prominently carbon fiber. It is combined with the stylish stitching and the visible carbon fibre applications. The aluminium pedals, the illuminated door sill trim and the newly ergonomically-designed sport steering wheel deliver more optical highlights.

2014 Chevrolet Spark EV – Pricing Announced

2014 Chevrolet Spark EV goes officially on sale and in fact is the most affordable EV currently on the automotive market. Its price tag starts at $27 495 and in addition there is an option for low mileage lease for as low as $199 per month.

What is more, the 2014 Spark EV is the most efficient electric vehicle produced so far. It also will offer its owners outstanding infotainment and great design, the fun-to-drive capabilities and innovative engineering. Spark’s combined city/highway EPA estimated range is of 82 miles when it is fully charged. The EPA-estimated combined city/highway is 119 MPGe.

To go further into details, the vehicle is equipped with a 21 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. It will also be the first on the market to include the combo charger for DC Fast Charging as an option. This will enable the EV to recharge up to 80 percent of its capacity in approximately 20 minutes at select DC Fast Charging stations.

Charging can also be finished in less than seven hours though the utilization of a dedicated 240V charge. Here, the 120V charge cord set comes standard. Of course, the charging can be monitored remotely via a OnStar smart phone application.

Petrolicious: Ferrari 512 BBi Is A Piece of Art [VIDEO]

Everyone gets always excited when they hear the word Ferrari. It carries some special magic in itself and makes us dreaming about the exquisite models of the Italian brand. Maybe you have heard about Holger Schubert and his office/garage.

In fact, he has made his living place an exhibition hall in which the pieces of art are vehicles. In this current Petrolicious video we are to see how one of his cars – namely the Ferrari 512 BBi is taking a central part in the interior of the house.

For Schubert, regarding architecture and design, his tastes are absolutely focused towards everything being as minimal as possible. For this reason he has chosen to put the Ferrari model in front of a white wall in his home, thus reminding the spectators of a blank white canvas with a piece of art in front of it.

As a matter of fact, he took his work-of-art BB 512i and built everything around it. As any showcased work of art deserves to be, Holger’s car is in the spotlight and on the pedestal that is the studio garage, which was designed and built for the specific purpose of working and living alongside the Ferrari.

To go even further into details, the BB 512i was produced in 1981 and the horsepower it delivers are 340 hp (254 kW) at 6000 rpm. The torque is estimated around 333 lb•ft (451 N•m) at 4200 rpm. The car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in only 5.4 seconds on its way to a maximum speed of 160 mph (260 km/h).

2014 Toyota Corolla Teased

Toyota has just released the first teaser image of the forthcoming and strongly anticipated 2014 Corolla in their official Facebook page. The brand has also disclosed that the new model will be officially launched on 6th of June.

What is rumored already around the 2014 model is that it is going to look like the Toyota Corolla Furia Concept which debuted in the beginning of this year at the 2013 NAIAS. The current photograph that has been released shows part of the rear of the new Corolla S. It is obvious that the shape of the taillights is similar to those of the Furia.

In addition, over the internet it is rumored that the 2014 model will be equipped with a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine probably mated to a four-speed automatic transmission as a standard. However, there will be probably an optional six-speed manual transmission. It is expected that the fuel economy will be enhanced as well as the CO2 emissions reduced.

According to the previous year model, we are also expecting to see four trim levels: Base, LE, S and ECO. All in all, we are definitely more eager to see what the new 2014 Toyota Corolla will look like, as well as to read about its specifications and everything new included. Only one thing left – to wait until 6th of June to see what the Japanese brand has prepared for us this year.
