    What makes this edition special, is the addition of 15-inch alloy wheels with machined finish, rear privacy glass, front fog lights and a red decal pack. It adds eye-catching details to the door mirrors, side sills and the lower section of the front and rear bumpers. Also, customers can choose between Red Pop, Cyan Splash and Silver Splash body finish and details.

    Additionally, the equipment includes smartphone integration with Apple Carplay and Android Auto, along with automatic air conditioning and automatic headlights. Furthermore, buyers can specify their vehicle with an electric, full-length retractable Funroof and additional protection of Toyota Safety Sense with Pre-collision System and autonomous emergency braking and Lane Departure Alert.

    New x-trend lineup is geared with Aygo’s already proven 71hp three-cylinder 1.0-liter petrol engine. It can be mated to either a five-speed manual or x-shift automated manual gearbox. In pure Aygo tradition, the drivetrain system is clean and efficient and comes with Toyota’s five-year/100,000 mile new car warranty.

  • Ferrari announces details for the new F8 Tributo model

    2019 Ferrari F8 Tributo Ferrari has revealed the first official photographs of F8 Tributo, a mid-rear engine sports car, which represents the highest expression of the brand’s classic two-seater berlinetta. In fact, the name pays homage to both the model’s uncompromising layout and to the engine – it is a massive 720cv and delivers titanic amounts of power. In fact, this is by far the most powerful V8 unit that Ferrari has ever used.

    What is more, this unit’s output of 720cv is delivered without a hit of turbo lag or some kind of overdrive. This is due to the new version of Ferrari Dynamic Enhancer, which can be activated with a touch of a button. The steering wheel rim is also smaller and contributes to better agility and road behavior. In addition, the entire body structure is with 40kg lighter, compared to the 488 GTB, which further enhances the responsiveness and overall driving pleasure.

    As it comes to expression and design features, Ferrari team has done what it is best at: delivering us an extremely beautiful vehicle. The entire exterior concept is especially created in order to ensure excellent aerodynamic features and reward drivers with pleasure of driving and feel.

  • Volkswagen reveals details about new Jetta. Check ’em out!

    2019 Volkswagen Jetta GLI Volkswagen of America, Inc. announced full details for the new 2019 Jetta GLI. Celebrating 35 years since the first mode was introduced back in 1984, the latest family member showcases sexy exterior, advanced drivetrain system and extended list of standard features.

    In terms of drivetrain system, 2019 GLI is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged and direct-injected EA888 TSI power unit, making it one of the most powerful Jetta units on the market today. The engine provides a total of 228hp and 258pound-feet of torque. Furthermore, the engine shares goodies as variable valve timing on the intake and exhaust sides, along with a variable exhaust valve lift.

    Furthermore, this power output is taken to the front wheels via a standard six-speed manual gearbox. Customers can also specify their Jetta GLI with a seven-speed DSG dual-clutch automatic transmission. These automatic transmission models come with a Start/Stop system that further improves fuel efficiency.

    What is more, Jetta GLI features an all-around independent sporty suspension with a strut-type setup at the front and a multi-link arrangement at the rear. The front brakes are shared with Golf GTI and Golf R, using the same 13.4-inch diameter vented discs. And just like the GTI, GLI is fitted with an VAQ electronically controlled, torque-sensing limited-slip differential that aids to eliminate understeer, along as variable ratio electric power-assisted steering. And for the anniversary model, Volkswagen team includes the DCC adaptive damping system.

    Additionally, the Driving Mode Selection comes as a standard feature and allow drivers to customize their vehicle’s dynamic behavior. There are a total of four regimes that can be selected: Normal, Sport, Eco and Custom.

  • Polestar presents new model at 2019 Geneva Motor Show!

    2019 Polestar 2 Polestar has taken the next step in its development as the team presents the new Polestar 2. This is an all-electric fastback machine that brings electric performance cars to a wider range of audiences. The model features an avant-garde design and unique customer experience in the premium compact electric segment.

    Polestar 2 is a premium five-door fastback with two electric motors and a 78kWh battery capacity that is expected to cover a targeted range of 500km3, based on Volvo Car Group’s adaptive Compact Modular Architecture platform. This 27-module battery pack is integrated into the floor and aids for the rigidity of the chassis, along with reducing vehicle’s noise, vibration and harshness levels.

    Polestar 2 offers some massive numbers, as it comes to power output. Vehicle’s all-wheel drive electric powertrain generates a 408hp and 660Nm of torque. This means that the vehicle can speed from 0 to 100km/h in less than 5 seconds.

    Something more, there’s and optional Performance Pack that improves the driving dynamics by bringing Öhlins dampers, Brembo brakes and exclusive 20-inch forged wheels. Of course, the pack includes Polestar’s signature gold seat belts, brake calipers and valve caps that complete the performance character and the visual concept.

    As it comes to technology features, Polestar 2 comes with Phone-as-Key technology, which enables car sharing and more integrated ownership experience, along with connected services. This system also allows Polestar 2 to sense driver’s approach. There are smart features as enlarged graphics in the instrument cluster and software that predetermines driver’s next move.

  • Ginetta team announces details about a new supercar project

    2019 Guinetta supercarAhead of the official debut at the Geneva International Motor Show, Ginetta team has revealed numerous details about brand’s latest project.

    Blending refined engineering technologies and Ginetta’s heritage in high-power low-weight road vehicles, the latest supercar is a performance-oriented machine with tons of capabilities. The latest family member blends Ginetta’s 1960s design concept and contemporary technological breakthroughs, as seen with the 2019 LMP1 sports car.

    The refreshed design features a mid-mid layout, which fits perfectly the drivetrain system, which was developed entirely in-house specifically for this particular model. Given the low volume of the machine, engineers weren’t hesitating to utilize the chassis or the engine, allowing them to optimize every aspect of the car.

    And as we talk about the engine, we should mention that this is an ultra-compact and lightweight unit, mounted further back, unlike the setup of a conventional supercar. This layout allows engineers to achieve the optimal weight distribution and aerodynamics, along with a race tuned suspension and excellent road stability and behavior.

    The engine is a dry-sumped 6-liter 90-degree V8 unit, constructed from a single aluminum billet block with forged inners. As you might have expected, tis engine has been manufactured in-house by Ginetta’s engineers and features brand’s signature design for throttle bodies. Delivering a total of 600hp and 700Nm, the whole drivetrain system is especially designed to deliver a power to weight ratio of 545bhp per tonne. Sweet!

    This supercar also incorporates a full carbon fiber monocoque chassis, clothed in carbon fiber body panels. This design language echoes the one on Ginetta LMP1 and contributes to a notable and eye-catching aesthetics.

    But let’s get back to the drivetrain system, shall we? There’s an adjustable pushrod activated double wishbone suspension system. It features hydraulic power assisted steering and contributes to enhanced sporty experience. This system is further supported by a six-speed sequential paddle-shift unit with carbon-fiber propshaft. What is special about this gadget is that it was created in partnership with another British manufacturer and not only delivers super-fast changes, but also provides a menacing roar. Cool!

    In terms of interior, driver and passengers are welcome to sit in lightweight ergonomic seats, moulded in vehicle’s carbon tub. Alcantara, carbon fiber and aluminum components define the interior and reveal not just a straightforward race-oriented nature of the cabin, but also a place for pleasure and comfort. There are ABS, traction control, reverse camera, automatic headlights, park sensors, air conditioning, heated screens front and rear, wireless phone charging and more.

  • Jaguar reveals details for the new XE Sport Sedan machine

    2020 Jaguar XE Sport Sedan Jaguar team announces significant updates and changes for the 2020 XE Sports sedan. Completely refreshed and improved, the latest family member has a lot to demonstrate. There are new luxurious interior technologies, advanced infotainment and driver’s assistance gadgets, all along with refined drivetrain system. Let’s check out more!

    Exterior design

    2020 Jaguar XE catches the eye with a sharper and more aggressive stance. The vehicle comes with a redesigned front-end, which features a new bumper and a wider grille for more planted appearance. There’s also a new rear bumper and rear valance, which increases visual width and highlights model’s sporty character.

    What makes this model special, is the addition of aircraft winglet-inspired sculpted surfaces in the lower front apertures and the standard Premium LED headlights that feature a fresh, distinctive “J” Blade daytime running light signature with laser-etched Jaguar monogram pattern.

    Interior design

    New Jaguar XE Sport Sedan features a revised interior design with attention to detail and benefitting from premium components and materials.

    There’s new optional inControl Touch Pro Duo infotainment system and a 12.3-inch interactive driver display, which provides a customizable and intuitive responsive human-machine interface. Along with these goodies, XE features a SportShift gear sector and JaguarDrive Control toggle switch, inspired by the F-TYPE lineup. This gadget eliminates the rotary control gear selector. Sweet!

    Drivetrain system

    As one would have expected, new Jaguar XE machine features an advanced and refined drivetrain system that defines the brand and the sporty spirit within every Jaguar machine.

    There’s not one, but two four-cylinder Ingenium gasoline engines available, producing 247hp and 296hp accordingly. The second one, the high performance 296hp Ingenium engine is paired with an AWD system that altogether ensure a quick run from 0 to 100km/h in mere 5.4 seconds.

    Of course, buyers will benefit from SportShift gear selector, which replaces the rotary controller and delivers more dynamic driving experience. There’s also an Adaptive and Configurable Dynamics, which provide optimal balance between comfort and control and JaguarDrive Control, which ensures four selectable driving modes – Comfort, Eco Rain/Ice/Snow and Dynamic.

    Additional technology

    InControl Touch Pro Duo infotainment system and 12.3-inch Interactive Driver Display goodies are no available and provide a customizable, intuitive and responsive human-machine interface. There’s also an optional ClearSight Rear View Mirror, which includes a high-definition display screen for additional visibility and ease of use.

    At the same time, the “Smart Settings” technology uses artificial intelligence to learn the preferences of individual drivers and adjust seat, mirror, audio and climate setting automatically. And as one might well expected, Jaguar XE comes with advanced assistance technologies as Heads-up Display, Driver Condition Monitoring, Park Assist and Blind Spot Assist.

  • Lexus team reveals details about new Black Line upgrade pack

    2019 Lexus IS 300 F Sport Black Line EditionLexus is giving buyers of the 2019 IS 300 F SSPORT a new express styling body kit in the face of Black Line Special Edition. Limited to mere 900 units for 2019, new IS 300 Black Line will bring up some unique features and subtle styling changes that contribute to the custom expression of each individual machine.

    Available for both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive, IS 300 F SPORT comes with a list of features that set it apart from the standard IS 300. For example, the most notable change is the set of 18-inch split spoke wheels with a “black vapor chrome” finish, a technology shared with the wheels of the LS Sedan. Also, Black Line Special Edition also comes with black side mirrors and three optional exterior body finishes: Ultra White, Obsidian and Atomic Silver.

    In terms of interior, all special edition machines come with black Nuluxe seat with red accents on the side bolsters and seat cushions. There are some more red accent panels on each side of the center stack, along with contrasting red stitching on the seats, central console and armrests.

    There’s also a heated, black wood-trimmed steering wheel that features distinctive shades of black that were created in the Japanese art of calligraphy.

    What we also know, is that the rear-wheel drive version of the IS 300 Black Line Special Edition is powered by an agile 2.0-liter, turbocharged, four-cylinder power unit that generates a total of 241hp and proceeds this power via an eight-speed automatic transmission.

    Production of the 2019 IS 300 Black Line Special Edition has already started in early February, so dealers will have examples in showrooms in March.

  • SKODA announces new Fabia R5 for upcoming rally challenges

    2019 SKODA Fabia R5SKODA’s most successful rally car, the Fabia R5 gets its update. Audience at the Geneva Motor Show will witness a completely revised design that incorporates tons of drivetrain changes. Additionally, the rally car will be getting some additions and changes never before seen on a Fabia R5.

    What we know so far is that the new SKODA will be featuring a new headlight design, along with performance and reliability improvements. Tests have already been made and after thousands of kilometers on gravel tracks, the new family member has revealed one more step in the right direction. Or, at least, from engineering team’s perspective.

    In 2018 alone, SKODA Motorsport team has managed to reach top three positions of the WRC 2 drivers and co-drivers categories. As a result of the increased efforts in customer services, SKODA has also won the FIA Asia-Pacific Rally Championship, FIA South American Rally Championship, FIA African Rally Championship and 17 national rally titles with this very same SKODA Fabia R5.

    What we also know is that in 2019 SKODA Motorsport will enter two cars into selected rounds of FIA World Rally Championship. Finnish drivers Kalle Rovanperä and co-driver Jonne Halttunen will compete in the new WRC 2 Pro Championship, while WRC 2 Champions Jan Kopecký/Pavel Dresler from Czech Republic will be seen on selected WRC events.
