Ford EcoSport Lineup Improved!

2015 Ford EcoSport SUV comes with numerous improvements, that include style upgrades, improved driving dynamics and many more. The leather seats and chrome details are also available with the standard equipment. And as we talk about equipment, Ford now offers a special Winder Pack (just when the Summer season starts. Good one, Ford). It includes heated windscreen, heated mirrors and heated front seats. There are also some fine tunings, made to the springs, dampers, rear torsion beam, Electronic Stability Programme and Electronic Power Assisted Steering settings.

So, the Ford EcoSport will also be offered without rear-mounted spare wheel, but instead will come with mobility kit. And another changes have been made t the rear swift gate. Now it allows easier access to the bootspace. Furthermore, all models include and a sweet EcoSport badge on the rear.

Interior

As said above, leather seats are included, but only to the Titanium models. Furthermore, the interior awaits you with privacy glass with all trims, while the Winter Pack adds and rear seat ventilation. The restyled cabin also offers black lower instrument panel, centre console and door boards. The instrument cluster also includes a light dimming function and chrome-surround rings.

Drivetrain system

The EcoSport vehicles are now available with 1.5-liter TDCi, that offers 95 hp (69 kW) and delivers 64.2 mpg. The next variant is a 125 hp (91 kW) 1.0-liter EcoBoost unit, that delivers 52 mpg. The last engine offers 1.5-liters and also 125 hp with 44 mpg.

Furthermore, additional technology tweaks come later this year and will include satellite navigation and Rear View Camera, that helps with the reverse maneuvers. You can see for yourself, that Ford’s growing SUV family has a lot to offer and it gets even bigger and more confident.

Furthermore, Mitsubishi engineers, concerned about the economy and pollution, created low rolling resistance tyres and intelligent power management. The lineup is based on the Outlander, Lancer and Lancer Evolution X platforms, which means, that the ASX vehicles offer versatility, comfort, space and flexibility. It seems as this lineup is especially created for families, that are looking for practical and comfortable vehicle. And as a self-respected Mitsubishi lineup, the ASX vehicles offer alloy wheels, air conditioning and keyless entry. Of course, Bluetooth connectivity, leather upholstery, satellite navigation, seat heaters and rear camera are included in the standard equipment.

Safety

2006 Lamborghini Concept S is Going for an Auction

2006 Lamborghini Concept S, chassis 001 goes on sale! I am sure, that there isn’t a Lambo fan, that doesn’t know about this vehicle, but still let’s remind you, that this is a really special model, first introduced at Geneva back in 2005. The Concept includes some interesting lines and features, but the main thing is that it is a sort of extreme interpretation of an open-top Lamborghini Gallardo. Furthermore, the audience at the show was so interested in the vehicle, that it demanded for a functional version. That’s what I call game-changer.

Vox populi vox Dei (the voice of the people is the voice of God). The fully operable version was unveiled at the Concorso Italiano the next year and remained true to the concept. Except it was even more powerful. It also includes some slight differences in the design, compared to the original: “saute-vent” windscreens, redesigned homologation and sort of “spine”, that runs throughout all the length of the Lamborghini.

Originally the Concept S was planned for a limited run, but soon the manufacturer changed its mind due logical reasons: the crafting process of the Lamborghini model was time-consuming and at high cost. So, the vehicle brand ended up with only chassis 001. It became so popular, that it was shown all around the world, including twice at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. Now the vehicle is fully operating and street legal and comes to the sale with only 180 km (111.8 miles) driven.

The Lamborghini Concept S will be sold by RM Sotheby’s, the world’s largest collector car auction house. Something more. The well-known auction house will participate for the second iteration of the Art Automobiles sale event. And as any other, the show will include finest selection of vehicles, especially chosen for their rarity, significance, engineering and of course overall performance. And as you might have already guessed it, the Lamborghini Concept S will also be among the special vehicles.

2015 Volkswagen Golf Concept Shows What Confidence Means

Volkswagen demonstrates a special concept vehicle, based on the seventh generation Golf. It is a 330 hp (242 kW) machine, constructed with accordance of all TCR regulations. And in order to accelerate the creation of the vehicle, the Golf concept will be tested in special conditions before and after the upcoming 2016 race season. Furthermore, Volkswagen, along with their partner Liqui Moly Team Engstler will run two vehicles at the 8th round of Touringcar Racer International Series (TCR) at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg.

Now, let’s talk about the vehicle itself. At first sight the Golf Concept looks confident, massive and ready for the track. Just look at the widened front and rear and you will know what I mean. Obviously the Volkswagen team went for fully sporty affair without any compromises. They didn’t even make any graphics or anything alike. The engineering team decided to focus on the widened with 40 centimeters chassis, the rear wing and the overall aerodynamic body. The inside also follows this particular sporty affair with its enforced cabin, head protector and safety tank. Sport, sport, sport. And again sport.

Drivetrain system

The heart of the Golf Concept is a mighty four-cylinder powerplant, DSG gearbox and especially designed racing chassis. Definitely Volkswagen team didn’t go only for visual effects. Furthermore, the MQB platform also offers extended list of goodies and upgrades. The 2.0-liter engine with direct injection is in fact, the top sport model from the Golf R and produces a total of 330 hp (243 kW) and 410 Nm of torque.

And now, in order to finish quickly its development, the Golf Concept will be tested in numerous road conditions and will remain throughout all the four weeks in the TCR series. Furthermore, the Liqui Moly Team Engstler will take care for running the car during the remaining tests.

2015 Holden ClubSport 25th Anniversary Comes With More Details

2015 Holden ClubSport R8 25th anniversary has finally comes with some more details. As you know, Australia’s leading vehicle manufacturer used the ClubSport name for the first time back in 1990 with the VN model, that offered a 5.0-liter engine, generating 244 hp (180 kW) and 400 Nm of torque. But for the 25 years of development the Holden ClubSport model went for a long road and now it is more powerful and more advanced than ever. So, let’s check out the 25th Anniversary model.

So, at the end you get a ride with smooth lines, that confidently, yet with incredible elegance shape the exterior look, along with some stunning power output. That’s how a 25th anniversary should be celebrated.

And along with the overall wonderful list of features, the ClubSport 25th Anniversary can also be purchased with two optional transmissions: TR6060 Tremec 6-speed manual or 6L80E 6-speed automatic with Active Select and Paddle-Shifters. But along with the good news, there is and a bad one. The vehicle (as name suggests) will be limited to only 100 units, so if you think this is your vehicle, don’t waste time by only looking pictures at it. Sales start in July.

BMW X6 Received an Interesting Upgrade from LUMMA Design

BMW X6 CLR X6R The latest BMW X6 received an impressive body work by LUMMA Design. Now, their latest creation is called CLR X6R. And it looks really good. Let’s check it out.

After the catoonish pack, released in 2014, the LUMMA team decided to go for something wider and larger. The crew added massive 22-inch alloy wheels with beautiful design and four exhaust tips with different sizes. And of course, the BMX X6 received front splitter, blacked out special grille, special LED fog lights, trunk lid spoiler, glossy black diffuser, roof panel and some more sporty surprises.

And to match the aggressive and muscular look, the drivetrain system also had its attention. CLR X6R’s power output is now 555hp (408 kW) and 792 Nm from 450 PS (330 kW) and 650 Nm. And all this comes from the twin-turbo V8 4.4-liter engine. In fact, the powerplant also features an especially remapped ECU.

And when it comes to interior, the LUMMA team will offer a wide range of trims, leather and Alcantara components, along with some carbon-fiber and wood trims. And let’s not forget the aluminum pedals and the sweet entrance lights.

So far, so good. You get a BMW X6, a special upgrade pack from LUMMA Design and lots of attention. How cool is that? The CLR X6R is really a beauty and it really deserves its attention.

2017 Lamborghini Aventador SuperVeloce Roadster And the First Images

2017 Lamborghini Aventador SuperVeloce Roadster LP750-4 is already available for order! The super-ultra sexy vehicle has also demonstrated its beauty with three pictures. And as we can see the Lambo just looks stunningly good. But this is not all. President and CEO Stephan Winkelmann comfirmed, that the 2017 Lamborghini Aventador SuperVeloce Roadster LP750-4 will be limited to only 500 units. He also said, that the vehicle will be with similar stats to the Aventador SV coupe.

Drivetrain system

Along with the looks, the vehicle will grant its owners with some stunning power. The heart of the beast is a V12 engine, capable of producing 750 hp (551 kW). And that crushing power will help the Lambo to go from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 2.8 seconds and with that impressive start it will chase the top speed of 391 km/h (221 mph). You are still not impressed?! Well, with that crushing force comes also a wonderful design. So, let’s talk about it.

Exterior

The first glimpse of the 2017 Lamborghini Aventador SuperVeloce Roadster left us speechless. Really. First of all, the vehicle charms you with its interesting color scheme, originally named Blu Glauco, mixed with some nice red lines. Wonderful. The front of the 2017 Aventador actually bears all well-known Lambo lines. The vehicle will look at you with its confident face and nicely restyled headlamps and will also demonstrate some massiveness with the nicely done dual grille design.

The sides continue the affair with some stylish, yet fast-looking lines, along with graphics at the rear bumper. The wheels of the Lamborghini also had their attention and they stand up with distinctive design and nicely done lines.

And now the interesting part. The back of the 2017 Aventador. It is simply stunning. And massive. First of all you see some nicely done grille design and a really interesting taillights design. The four exhaust pipes are placed at the lower middle section, surrounded of numerous carbon-fiber elements. Massive and confident. This is really a piece of art.

Miami Vice’s Legend Goes on Sale!

Do you remember the ’80s television saga “Miami Vice”? I bet you do. And there are good news for the fans out there. The star of the series will come to the Mecum Daytime Auction in Monterey, August 13-15. And if you are really a fan of the saga, you will know, that I do not talk about Sonny Crockett or Ricardo Tubbs. I am talking about the 1986 Ferrari Testarossa. The iconic supercar of the ’80s, that defined a whole decade. And now the very same vehicle is offered for sale at the Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel and Spa – Del Monte Golf Course this August, 15th.

In fact, the vehicle is so special, that it is rumored, that Enzo Ferrari himself proposed two Testarossa models to the show. And we all know the rest of the story: the Testarossa became sort of signature to the whole show. The only noticeable change was noticed when the car was painted in white, in order to be better seen in the night scenes. And since these glorious days, the car quickly became a cult, along with some other props in the series: Ray Ban glasses, Armani jackets, Scarab speedboats and of course explosions and enough firearms for an whole army.

The Testarossa itself offers a 4.9-liter, 390-horsepower flat-12 powerplant, five-speed manual gated gearbox, beige leather, power windows, power locks, power seats, cruise control and even an air conditioning. And sadly, after the end of the series, this veteran ended up in 1989 in storage until earlier this year. But the golden years are yet to come, so don’t forget to witness who will take the legendary vehicle home. I wonder, who wouldn’t want such a vehicle. It is still beautiful, stylish and reminds for an era, that anyone, who lived it want it back.

BXR Teases Another Sporty Concept

So, what do we have here? A special concept vehicle, with some stunning visuals. Sadly, there are only two pictures at the moment, but even they are enough to show everyone what BXR team has created. It definitely is a sports car and it definitely looks confident and badass. With the glossy and distinctive orange finish and with the massive and aggressively-looking face the vehicle looks like it will consume you right trough the two photos.

And what do the BXR team has to say about it? They widened the front and added some massive fenders, that add a total of 3″ on each side. The overall design is clean and distinctive, but at the same time it reminds about the hidden power and capabilities. As you can see, the headlights are pushed to further apart and contribute to the overall badass looks with the hunched looks. The dual grille design and the numerous carbon-fiber elements really sit there and it feels like it is so natural to the overall design. In fact, the headlights are especially designed to remind you for a some sort of snake-like appearance and presence.

A Talisman in a Sea of Mediocrity or Mediocrity in a Sea of Talismans?

2016 Renault Talisman Recently unveiled, 2016 Talisman has some lots of features to show, but is it really that interesting? It is fresh, hot and beautiful of first sight. So, let’s check out what it has to offer.

Exterior

First of all, the 2016 Talisman has numerous features, that will make it stand out from its predecessor models. Let’s start with the exterior. The vehicle really looks great and stylish. Just look at the straight and elegant lines, convincing you that the Talisman comes from the future. And the grille, combined with the nicely styled headlamps make the front of the car a truly pleasurable sight for every car fan. In fact, I personally give a lots of points to the grille design. Why? Unlike many other manufacturers and car models, the Talisman doesn’t include that stupidly smiled grille design, that in 99% of the cases ruins the whole cool appearance of the vehicle. But not here. Not with the Talisman lineup. Furthermore, the stylish exterior lines continue the affair and to the sides and the back, where the LED taillights are especially designed to give that interesting 3D effect. So, when it comes to exterior and style, 2016 Talisman has our approval.

Interior

And from the exterior lines we continue with the interior. Straightforward lines, along with numerous classy elements. Overall, the cabin looks really cozy and comfortable. And functional. It looks like Renault engineers have done their work as it should be done. With precision, style and desire. And something more. Renault team claims, that the 25 liters of storage volume is one of the best in class. But as we all know, these, who will confirm it are the Talisman owners. They also can choose between five interior trims: Zen, Life, Intense, Business and Intiale Paris. Clearly inspired by some other Renault models, the interior has a lot to demonstrate, even with the entry level: owners will be granted with a 4.2-inch central display, R-Link 2 connected multimedia tablet and Bose surround audio system. The high-end version will also be geared with a special 8.7-inch touch screen multimedia display.

Additional equipment

And now the optional goodies. Customers can choose between 10 body colors, which are indeedAméthyste Black, Carmin Red, Etoilé Black, Cosmos Blue, Dune Beige, Pearlescent White, Vison Brown, Cassiopée Grey, Platine Grey) and the non-metallic Glacier White. And along with the colors there is also a wide choice of wheels: five designs from 16-inch to 19-inch models. But along with the appearance there are and some technical units, that can be further changed. For example, the petrol range units, the TCe 150 and TCe 200 will be geared with the special 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, while the diesel range will deal with a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic gearbox.
