G-POWER showcases yet another M2 project

2018 G-POWER BMW M2 F87 Recently, BMW has showcased the latest M2 machine with a total of 410hp and additional features that move it closer to its bigger sibling, the M4. However, the bad news is that people have to wait more until the vehicle can be ordered. But the good news is that the nice people at G-POWER in Aresing, Upper Bavaria have already come up with an alternative. Let’s check it out!

The well-known tuner has always aimed to make the M2 lineup even more appealing and for the 35 years we must admit that the studio has been showing some of the most advanced and fine projects we have ever seen. For this particular machine, G-POWER team has decided to take a closer look at the turbocharged N55 inline six-cylinder power unit and add some kick to the overall output. This results on a total of 370hp and 500Nm in the overboost mode. Furthermore, the team has geared the M2 with exclusive software and hardware mechanics that aid the exhaust conduction downpipe and the intercooler.

Also, to go along with all these goodies, engineers have added a titanium G-POWER exhaust with dual mode valve system and four carbon-fiber tailpipes, each measured at 90 millimeters in diameter. These, in combination with exclusive G-POWER G2M RS coilovers make not only an aggressive sound, but also contribute to more dynamic and precise handling. Enjoy!

Volvo Cars: here’s one more reason to love ’em!

2018 Volvo CX90 Chances are that you already know that Volvo is known for making one of the safest vehicles in the world. Something more, the team has aimed to create the first vehicle that would be so safe that it would not let occupants receive any kind of damage during collision and unfortunate events.

However, we are still waiting for the game changer. Meanwhile, brand’s usual suspect, XC90, has proved itself worthy in one more statistics – death. There has been not a single death in a car-to-car accident in the UK, according to the Government crash figures.

Launched back in 2002, the XC90 has built its reputation as one of the most prominent vehicles of the brand and also in the whole automobile segment. And since the first editions Volvo has equipped the XC90 with tons of safety features that, fortunately, have saved thousands of people. In fact, this is the first SUV to use the Roll Stability Control system, which measures car’s roll angle in manoeuvres and activates the stability control feature when necessary.

And since these days Volvo hasn’t stopped to improve the XC90 – in 2014 the manufacturer has launched two additional safety features: Run-off Road Protection and automatic emergency braking at junctions. These two tighten the front seatbelts and activate the autonomous braking system when necessary. In fact, Volvo is also the first automobile brand that has included emergency brake system for the first time in an automobile. Cool, right?

And last, but not least, we should mention something really important. Volvo has collected data about crashes and accidents since the 1970s, thanks to the Accident Research Team – a special group of specialists that examine each side of an accident in order to deliver the best solution for preventing it and ensuring safety for driver and passengers.

Mazda vehicles earn prestigious awards at the 2018 DNA Awards

2018 Mazd CX-5 2019 Mazda CX-5 compact crossover and MX-5 Miata have earned top rates at the New York Daily News’ 2018 DNA Awards. And as in any other edition, the audience took part in all ratings and decisions.

In order to choose winners in every single class, models were rated based on how much “DNA” they got from the certain segment. This means that all cars, vehicles, trucks and similar should showcase advanced drivetrain systems, beautiful design concept and innovation, along with the usual core requirements that are mandatory for every contestant.

And in this kind of event Mazda vehicles have managed to catch the eye and impress both critics and fans. This year’s model edition CX-5 continues to build on its predecessors and features new cylinder-deactivation technology that reduces fuel consumption. As it seems, this was the main game changer. Sweet.

Furthermore, Mazda MX-5 Miata has won the “Best Performance Car” award by mixing advanced technologies with pure sporty spirit. The roadster comes with advanced suspension that has been fine-tuned to deliver greater stability and flexibility. Also, the sexy machine offers tons of additional utility and convenience features that make the difference. And apparently earn prizes.

Some of the special requirements for the DNA Awards were relatively simple: the vehicle should be priced under $100,000 USD and the model should be on sale by February 1, 2018.

Vilner team revives a special Rolls-Royce. Check it out!

2018 Vilner Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe We do know that Rolls-Royce machines are still the only symbol of luxury and refinement. However, the arch enemy of all that is beautiful and enduring manages to harm even the pinnacle of motorsport industry. Yes, we are talking about time. Time has managed to prove that Rolls-Royce is the king, but has also proven that even kings tend to get rusty and fragile at time to time. And this is why Vilner’s latest project circulates around a 10-year-old Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe.

Trying to preserve and revive the wooden inserts and fine-leather covers, Vilner team has done tons of work in the cockpit – tens of square meters of fine leather has found its new place in the cabin, along with small details as stitching and adding more functionality. Now, the new leather cover manages to work better with the heating and ventilating of the seats. Cool!

In fact, the design team has spent the majority of time for the wooden components. Every single wooden part has been unmounted, triple varnished and polished until shiny. And only then it was once again mounted to the cabin. And what has managed to impress us even further is the rear part of the cabin – the place where the folding roof is actually hidden, when not used.

In terms of exterior styling, Vilner’s client has chosen the Cherry burst cover. Part of the 44, 000 combination choices, the owner has decided to retain the vehicle elegant and stylish. And as you think about it, there is something even British in this color scheme. And because of this choice, Vilner has installed Cherry burst seatbelts. Sweet.

One more BMW M2 has undergone through tuning program by N-Performance team

2018 N-Performance BMW M2 BMW M2 remains one of brand’s most flexible and beloved models even to this date. And it is one of the preferred vehicle by tuners and alike all around the globe. And now Alpha-N Performance team decides to tweak the machine one more time. Because tweaking is never enough, right?

The revised BMW M2 comes with massive 370hp in-line six-cylinder combustion power unit and tons of exclusive features. For example, Öhlins suspension and fine-tuned gearbox. All the revised and upgraded parts altogether add a massive kick of 60 horsepower, or in total of 430hp. Also, the engineering team has installed a special exhaust system that confidently handles the overall power output.

In terms of exterior styling, BMW M2 features numerous sporty goodies. There is a special M-Performance grille and M2 GP front spoiler. This look is further enhanced by carbon rocker panels and M Performance diffuser, also made of carbon-fiber, that provides the optimal settings for the four tailpipes. The vehicle is geared with standard 19-inch double-spoke wheels and resemble the Vollverklebt.de Red trim on the front-end. Or, in other words, the color scheme is neatly done.

Lexus team showcases its 7-seat monster

2018 Lexus RX L Lexus has revealed the RX L and there have been numerous kinds of reactions and we decided to contribute to the world of motorsport by sharing our own opinion. We should start by saying that this seven-seater focuses on small details and utility features. Of course, buyers will get a comprehensive and advanced drivetrain system, but this time Lexus team has managed to impress us by adding tons of features and handy goodies.

In terms of exterior design, this is a pure Lexus machine – all the well-known curves and lines are present, but this time are accented by fresh ideas and contemporary design solutions. For example, the vehicle is a bit longer and wider than its predecessors and features neat presence and stance.

However, what has managed to impress us the most is the interior styling concept. Yes, it is a conventional interior space, dedicated to serve to a premium vehicle, but when one looks closer, it reveals way many more stuff. Let’s start with the two extra seats, the generous knee and headroom space and the ample space for luggage.

Furthermore, the seats are finished in high-quality materials, as the rest of the cabin and offer pleasurable and safe ride – and the best of all is that it all takes a single car to go for a ride with friends. If it is as voluminous as the RX L. And something more – the thing that has managed to impress us the most is the overall cabin design. Audi reveals the latest A6 Avant machine

2018 Audi A6 Avant Avant represents Audi’s dedication to elegance and technological advancement. Definitely an impressive new addition to the lineup, this guy surely has a lot to demonstrate. It is both athletic and sexy and features tons of goodies that are worth mentioning. So, without more hesitation we will see what this bad boy is all about.

It is definitely an Audi vehicle. With its sharp lines and large surfaces the new A6 Avant catches the eye of both fans and sceptics. It comes with a wider and refreshed front grille, revised blisters and trapezoidal window shapes. Furthermore, the muscular roofline flows in a low-profile D-pillar and accents the sporty spirit of the machine. At the same time the rear showcases a decorative trim that links the lights. Sweet.

The cabin features a minimalistic approach – there isn’t anything, but the necessary. The thing that catches the eye the most is the black panel surface with MMI touch response display. Jaguar reveals the I-TYPE 3 ahead of its global debut

2018 Jaguar I-Type 3 Panasonic Jaguar Racing has unveiled the concept livery for the incredible Jaguar I-TYPE 3. This is the Gen 2 race car that would compete in season five at the ABB FIA Formula E Championship. Marking one more historic moment for the manufacturer, the British team continues its mission for innovation and refinement.

The vehicle itself, Gen 2 race car features bold and futuristic design and marks a big step forward in terms of technology and refinement. It delivers a total of 335hp (250kW) and improved battery technology that would allow more dynamics and performance-oriented track behavior. The I-TYPE 3 also features an LED Halo – it is much needed after the new FIA regulations that make the presence of such stuff mandatory.

The whole concept and all the changes that are present with this latest edition are much needed – we should remind you that Panasonic Jaguar Racing will be competing with some of the most menacing rivals in the series. So, we do not expect anything but impeccable performance by the whole team and of course, the machine itself.

Hyudai wins a prestigious prize at the Red Dot Award show

2018 Hyundai NEXO Hyundai Motor has earned two prestigious awards at this year’s Red Dot Design Awards show. As you might know, this is one of the most renowned design and innovation prizes that a car manufacturer can take home. And given that Hyundai team has done a lot in contribution to the world of motorsport, it is no wonder that the recognition is at hand.

In order to deserve such an award, competitors should present a product with exceptional functionality, durability, level of innovation and overall quality. And guess what? NEXO, Hyundai’s second-gen fuel cell electric vehicle has managed to catch examiners’ attention and eventually has won the prestigious achievement. Furthermore, this hydrogen-powered SUV combines all the things that we love about the SUVs with the tons of advantages of the fuel cell technology.

And as it seems, design seems to play a major role in the event. And it is one of the main reason for customers to switch to Hyundai. In fact, this is the five consecutive year in which the well-known manufacturer marks incredible evolution in terms of looks and design features. This Red Dot Design Award follows some of the most prestigious awards that were given to Hyundai back in 2017, 2015 and 2014.

Volkswagen team reveals new R-Line models!

2018 Volkswagen T-Roc R-Line There are two new VW members in the SUV segment that were just presented: T-Roc compact SUV and the agile Tiguan Allspace seven-seater. Both machines are already available for order and are worth of checking out!

The first one, the T-Roc features Volkswagen’s 19-inch Suzuka alloys, wrapped by low-rolling resistance tires, sporty suspension, body-colored roof spoilers and revised front and rear bumpers, black steering wheel arch extensions and body-colored side skirts. Sweet.

The inside features black roof lining, dark grey decorative inserts in dash and door panels, new front illumination, front LED reading lights, Carbon Flag upholstery and R-Line goodies as badges, floor mats and steering wheel.

In terms of drivetrain system, T-Roc R-Line comes with four combinations between engine and gearbox system: a trustworthy 1.5 TSI EVO 150 PS unit paired to either 6-speed manual, or 7-speed automatic DSG transmission and a bit more powerful 2.0 TSI 190 PS 4MOTION unit, mated to a 7-speed DSG system. The last option is a 2.0 TDI 150 PS engine, paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox.

Massive and confident, the new seven-seater features tons of exclusive features. For example, new 20-inch Suzuka alloy wheels, R-Line sporty suspension, body-colored roof spoiler, Piano Black front air intakers and R-Line styling pack. The cabin comes with R-Line aluminum decorative inserts, black roof lining, leather trimmed there-spoke multifunction steering wheel with aluminum inserts and R-Line badges.

Tiguan Allspace R-Line also features more drivetrain combinations, compared to the T-Roc sibling. What is notable about all the options is that the 2.0 TDI 150PS is always present – it is only mated to different type of gearbox system. There is this 6-speed manual, 7-speed DSG, 4MOTION 6-speed manual and 4MOTION 7-speed DSG.

Toyota has revealed the new RAV4 Hybrid: is it any good?

And it is no wonder why such a machine has caught the eye of both enthusiasts and sceptics: RAV4 comes with incredibly sexy design and heavily revised and refined drivetrain system. So, let’s check out more, shall we?

2019 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid

The machine is definitely expressive and contemporary looking. It is a bit higher and wider than predecessors and feature straightforward lines and almost no curves – this styling concept contributes to an overall aggressive and sporty appearance. There are some slight reductions made on the front and rear overhangs and a bit of additions: the wheelbase is wider with 30mm, compared to the previous model. In fact, the machine is so widened that the interior allows placement of foldable rear seats doable load floor and deck side nets. Or, in other words, there is plenty of headroom in the cabin and everyone should feel just fine is such a premium SUV.

2019 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid

The new RAV4 comes with TNGA engines that are both efficient and agile. There is also a completely new unit – a 2.5-liter electric engine that delivers just the right amount of power and features great responsiveness rates. Of course, hybrid is the keyword, as it comes to the whole RAV lineup. There is also a new 2.0-liter petrol engine that can be further paired with manual or automatic gearbox.

Also, just for the hybrid version, Toyota team has developed second electric motor that would give power to the rear wheels and therefore enhance a large amount of torque output. Sweet. For the 2.0-liter petrol model there are mechanical AWD system incorporated and a twin coupling and rear disconnect features on the automatic gearbox system.
