  • xXx Performance Ferrari 488 GTB Makes Furore at the Essen Motor Show

xXx Performance Ferrari 488 GTB Front and Side ViewAnother premiere at the Essen Motor Show, this time by the well known tuner xXx Performance. They are currently exhibiting uprated Ferrari 488 GTB, which is so stuffed with power that we can hardly grasp it. And since the first 488 GTBs have just been delivered to their owners, this is the perfect time for launching such an extensive program, isn’t it?

    The Body Kit

The first thing to highlight about this Ferrari is its aero body kit. It is of course made of high quality carbon-fibre. You can see a brand new aggressive front spoiler, rear diffuser at the back, side skirts, absolutely new aerodynamically shaped mirrors and air vents next to the rear lights. So this is how the tuners have granted the sports car its even more exclusive looks. And by the way the taillights, the side markers and the rear fog lamps were substituted with shaded ones.

Filling out the wheel arches are the forged Vossen VPS-315T wheels that come in sizes 9.0×21 and 12.5×21 inch at the front and rear, respectively. They were coupled with 245/30ZR21 and 325/35ZR21 rubbers.

Taking car for the better sports-handling is the specially calibrated set of springs. They lower the ride height with 35 mm. In addition, the experts ensured that there is a hydraulic lift system for both axles, which improves the ground clearance at the touch of a button.

Three Stage Program for the Engine

xXx Performance Ferrari 488 GTB Engine with Carbon Fiber Elements

Driving the 488 GTB is the 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 unit, which has a power output increased via several means.  Precisely, the xXx Performance have applied intake, exhaust and ECU upgrades to offer a three-stage tuning programme for this engine. To make a good comparison of the achieved results, we should remind you that the powertrain has standard 670 hp (493 kW) and 760 Nm (561 lb-ft) of torque.

Stage 1 takes these numbers up to 750 hp (551 kW) and 830 Nm (613 lb-ft). The next stage offers 850 hp (625 kW) and 930 Nm (686 lb-ft). At the top of the performance program is the Stage 3, which pushes the engine to unimaginable 1,000 hp (735 kW) and 1,250 Nm (923 lb-ft) of torque!

For the good and loudly soundtrack has been installed flap control sports exhaust system, which features larger downpipes for lower back-pressure. And have you spotted that the engine compartment was embellished with various carbon parts. How cool is that!

Up next is a ‘wild’ tuning program by MANHART and including BMW.

  • xXx Performance Creates 690HP Lamborghini Huracán

xXx Performance Lamborghini Huracán Front and Side viewxXx Performance Lamborghini Huracan is an example how an Italian sports car can be finessed in Germany so well that it eventually got better. The “Hurricane” character of this Lambo model is supported by the potent 5.2-liter V10 engine, which dispenses 610 hp (449 kW) to all four wheels through the 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. But the figure did not speak to the hearts of the tuners from Germany. So this was the reason they decided to improve the power output of the Italian bull.

    Engine Uprating

The V10 powering the Huracan was upgraded via new air intake, a sound flap control stainless steel sport exhaust to reduce backpressure and an ECU remap. The result? The unit now porduces 690 hp (507 lkW) and 650 Nm (480 lb-ft) of torque. Isn’t that nice?

    Attractive Exterior

xXx Performance Lamborghini Huracán Side View

After the tuning of the powerplant, we can surely say that the Lamborghini will move more rapidly than ever. And all you will catch is a green flash as it blows by. Why green? Because the experts did use Chrome Lime Matt foil body wrap applied to car’s lines, which further emphasize its untamed character.

The unique bright body colour has been perfectly complemented by the attractive Oxforged 4 one-piece forged alloy wheels delivered by OXIGIN. They come in sizes 9×20 and 12.5×21 inch and are coupled with 245/30R20 and 325/25R21 low profile tyres, at the front and rear respectively. Their milled front polish finish adds to their one-off appearance.

Finally, the tuner decided to lower the car even more and this has happened by the means of H&R lowering springs set. It helps the car get closer to the ground by 25 mm.

  • xXx Performance Juice the Audi R8 4.2 FSI Quattro

    xXx-Performance-Audi-R8-shadowxXx-Performance-Audi-R8-medium

The ridiculous Oxigin 14 Oxrock rims with their silly spinning wraps strike again! This time the victim is an xXx-Performance Audi R8 4.2 FSI quattro. A shame, actually, since at a glance this mod sounds pretty appealing. Well, the livery/sponsorship too is a bit over the top.

The program is aimed at those R8 owners who look at the V10 version and go green with envy. Now they too can enjoy even greater surges of power because xXx-Performance have teeamed up with Chiptrick for this one, and they have managed to squeeze every drop of power from its “inferior” V8 FSI engine. Though, squeeze may not be the right term. Afterall, they’ve added a twin turbo system made up of two Garret turbines and a custom-made intercooler. Consider also the new high-pressure fuel pump, the more efficient injection nozzles, and the custom-built exhaust system with cross x-pipe plus flaps. It’s the embodiment of the sound and the fury. Vehicles with the sequential R-tronic 6-gear manual transmission are moreover upgraded with a special transmission software that is adapted to the new situations.

By now you might be wondering to what all of this equates. There are three stages of power boost:

Stage 1: 590 hp; 660 Nm of torque

Stage 2: 640 hp; 675 Nm of torque

Stage 3: 707 hp; 809 Nm of torque

With Stage 3, you can get from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.6 seconds. The top speed would be limited to 194 mph. One other drawback, though: quite worryingly, there don’t seem to be any changes made to the chassis. Just some stupid wing attachments that mimic the V10 counterpart. Bottom line is, were we to have a go in it, ending up in a ditch would be inevitable.

  • xXx-Performance Updates Lamborghini Gallardo

xXx-Performance-Lamborghini-Gallardo-THUMBLamborghini Gallardo is one of the most famous sportscars which almost everybody has dreamt driving due to its speed, looks and aggressive road-stance. Surprisingly, the Lamborghini is powered by V10 engine and not by a V12 one and has no gull-wing doors.

The tuning specialists at xXx-Performance took a 2005 Gallardo and reconstructed it in a complex manner. They have added traditional LSD gull-wing doors and done some optical tuning. The latter extends the width of the body.

Also new is the front apron in LP560 design as well as the rear apron and the massive side enlargements. In fact, xXx-Performance endowed the rear with original parts made of real carbon from. We are speaking here about the rear flap, rear wing or also the side view mirror.

The exterior of the beast now sports a more glaring color. Thanks to versatile foil wrapping, the external shell is now in black chrome with the shafts of the side skirt, the interior edges of the front air ducts and the roof edge gleaming in neon orange.

And if one thinks that to give a Gallardo air suspension is impossible, then they surely should be disappointed. For this purpose, the tuners have used G-ride air suspension in combination with the specially adapted and two-fold hardness adjustable KW damping. The system has an electronic level regulation with integrated self-regenerating air-drying.

To round-out the exterior credentials of this tuned sportscar, the xXx-Performance modifiers has given it new set of shoes: exclusive mbDesign KV1 Deep Concave rims in the wheel houses in the dimension 9×20 inches with 235/30R20 tires in front and 12×20 inches with 305/25R20 Hankook S1 Evo tires in the rear. The rims were endowed with black chrome finish.

But this is not all that has been done here. The V10 here has been slightly reworked and the unit now generates over 560 horsepower (442 kW). This was achieved via special carbon air-boxes of BMC and the optimization of the engine software.

Next to the engine upgrade the tuning company added sports exhaust system that is capable of being controlled through Bluetooth. Optionally xXx Performance offers menacing biturbo conversions for the Lamborghini V10 in three power stages from 850 to 1.200 hp.

At last, the interior of the Gallardo was also improved. It now includes exclusive leather fitting with white decorative stitching. There can be seen also top-stitched diamonds and embroidered xXx-logos.

  • Star On Wheels: XXX-Performance Audi R8 5.2 FSI quattro

XXX-Performance-Audi-R8-Quattro-THUMBXXX-Performance is already familiar to the automotive world with their interpretation of the bright-green Audi R8. Now the tuning specialists are releasing their second project: an extravagant and exclusive wide body Audi R8.

To be more precise, the wide-body kit it was equipped with is the aggressive GT-X650 which features broad mudguard, stone deflectors and sill-board. Some of the unique elements in the kit include air inlets in the front and rear mudguards and huge openings of the exhaust pipe-end.

Optionally, for this project there are available attached parts such as external rear-view mirrors, roof scoops, side blades and rear diffusers made of carbon fibre. This Audi was entirely wrapped in blue CFC chrome wrapping.

Furthermore, the XXX-Performance has added Audi-Plus full LED headlamps and tail-lamps which also contribute towards the aggressive and sporty stance of the car. In addition, the H&R coilover kit was converted by the tuners from steel springs to air bellows. This simply results in lowering.

The transformed R8 runs on three-part GTR Forgiato forged wheels in the dimensions 9×20 inches and 13×20 respectively for the front and the rear. They are matched with barrel-type 235/30 and 325/25 Hankook tyres.

What is more, the tuning of this vehicle also includes performance-boosting. Via chip-tuning and carbon air-box and also other additional modifications, the V10 gets an end performance output of 650 hp (478 kW). The loudness of the acoustics of the exhaust system can be regulated with the utilization of a valve control system. When the valves are open, the V10 roars out loud.

Going further to the interior, this sportscar is wrapped in real leather and feature some carbon elements and high-grade Alcantara. For instance, with the latter material are covered the centre console, instrument panel, door sheathing and roof liner.

  • XXX Performance Audi R8 V10

XXX-Performance-Audi-R8-V10-thumbThat speed hump on the road there is actually an Audi R8 V10 that has underwent a substantial modification by XXX Performance. And don’t worry, that toxic green shade is actually foil wrapping. Unfortunately, the same is true for the “carbon-fiber” mirrors…and side blades…and wheels.

Let’s talk about the wheel housings. Or more specifically, the lack of them. It’s not that the wheels are tremendously big (Dunlop SP Sport Max 235/30R20 front and 295/25R20 back tires on 20-inch Oxigin 14-Oxrock rims). The bigger factor here is the air G-Ride system of the new H&R coilover kit which can lower the car ridiculously close to the ground. Other then than, the whole body has been brushed off of it’s badges, the head and taillights have been darkened and a strip of foil on the windshield reads “XXX Performance”.

Most excitingly however, XXX Performance have fiddled with the management system of the Audi’s 5.2 FSI V10 engine, added a BMC carbon air-box and and a high-end sports car exhaust system with Bluetooth flap control system from Capristo. The end result amounts to 650 hp and an appealing sight within the engine bay because of all the carbon-fibery bits inside.

Inside you get restyled Audi RS seats, carbon-fiber arm supports, leather and plushy Alcantra pretty much everywhere and white white seams.
