  • Vorsteiner with Minor Updates for the BMW 4-Series

This beautiful Estoril Blue BMW 4-Series has received a minor update. Despite the fact there aren’t many changes, the car looks so beautiful that we couldn’t just skip it and not show it to you. The tuner behind this project is the California-based company Vorsteiner. These guys are very clever for choosing a German name and working mainly with European cars, aren’t they?

So, the first thing to mention about this BMW is its exterior color. Although, the Estoril Blue paint scheme comes as a standard from the factory, this does not makes it less attractive. In fact, I have always thought that the color is more typical for the M-series, but one could always learn, right?

If you do expect that the American tuner has changed the engine, well I will disappoint you. What is promising however are the numbers produced as a standard by this BMW’s powerplant. It generates 300 untamed horses (223 kW) and a maximum torque of 406 Nm (300 lb-ft).

But if you ask about the changes featured here, well it’s not much, but it is still very inspiring, because of the new and more powerful stance it gives the car. All right then. It’s only the wheels.

They have been made with the help of a special flow forged technology and come in this exquisite Carbon Graphite color. The design scheme features double five spokes, and the dimensions are different at the front and at the back.

Up front, the wheels come in the size of 20×8.5 inches and are fitted with Pirelli P Zero tires in the size of 245/30/20. While at the rear, Vorsteiner has chosen 20×10 inches for the wheels and 275/30/20 for the Pirelli tires. Nice car to drive to the sunset with, isn’t’ it?

  • Vorsteiner BMW F32 435i Alpine White

Vorsteiner BMW F32 435i Alpine White is the latest powerful creation of the California-based tuning company. There’s not much don on this BMW, but still – it makes us admire how simple modification can entirely transform the presence of the car. The latest 2014 model of the F32 was introduced in June last year. It captured with its head-turning and typical BMW design.

As a matter of fact, this particular 435i is equipped with a 3.0 liter turbocharged petrol unit that generates 300 horsepower (224 kW) and 406Nm (300 lb-ft) of torque. This means that the car effortlessly accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in only 5.3 seocnds on its way to a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).

After the tuning performed by Vorsteiner, this stunning Alpine White BMW 435i now runs on Flow Forged V-FF 101 wheels finished in Matte Black. Of course, they were then fitted with 20×8.5” tyres at the front and 20×10” at the rear.

Vorsteiner’s latest in Lightweight Flow Forged Alloy Technology brings quality performance and keeps the car low in weight. This means that they add exceptional strength to the weight ratio. Enjoy the pictures below!

  • Vorsteiner And An Orange BMW E82 1M Coupe

Vorsteiner-BMW-E82-1M-Coupe-shadowVorsteiner-BMW-E82-1M-Coupe-mediumRemember that Vorsteiner kit for the BMW 1M Coupe? Well, now we get to see it in its full glory in this latest photo shoot. Mmm…sweet orange bliss.

All additional body parts are made with Vorsteiner’s trademark autoclave pre-preg carbon fiber. The front is a bit of a handful with all its distortions and whatnot, but apparently all is in the name of aerodynamics. The fins on both of the side extremities are supposed to channel cooling air to the front brakes. The trunk lid has been replaced entirely to save a few pounds (it now adds only 11.5 lbs to the overall curb weight). It also has a barely noticeable integrated lip spoiler at its very end.

The custom-made exhaust system comes in either stainless steel or titanium and gives a small jolt of additional power so that the 1M now has 350 hp and 337 lb-ft of torque.

And what about the wheels? They seem to be the same VS-400s that were quoted in the program, but the tires on this one read 245/35ZR19. That means they must have downsized a bit from the initial measures. That is, ether 20 or 21 inches.

Still, we can’t complain. It all looks pretty appealing.

For instance, the front spoiler is designed to improve and direct air flow to give additional downforce. Next, the boot lid is engineered in order to minimize weight in the rear while again creating downforce. Eventually, the rear add-on diffuser assists the boot lid by correcting any air pressure or air flow imbalances.

Furthermore, in the tuning program is also included the sports exhaust system, which contributes to more exhilarating acceleration. It is available in both stainless steel or in a lightweight titanium model.

At last, the best possible performance of this tuned BMW becomes reality thanks to the VS-400 3-Piece step-lip design wheel. It was made with the latest techniques and technologies in order to achieve its goal.

  • Vorsteiner BMW E9X M3 GTS5 with new Front Bumper

Vorsteiner-BMW-E9X-M3-GTS5-THUMBVorsteiner BMW E9X M3 GTS5 is a unique combination between the retiring E9X M3 and Vorsteiner’s GTS5 Front Bumper. The car will be produced only in limited 88 units so that it keeps the one-of-a-kindness of the driving experience to only a few people.

The GTS5 front bumper adds little details that first improve the overall appearance of the BMW. Furthermore it is important to mention the quality with which it is made.

Secondly an accent is put on the eyebrow over the bumper vent, thanks to a refinement which makes this Vorsteiner vehicle extraordinary. It is this very small element that will set anyone apart from the crowd.

In addition, the tuning company added also vertical vents which give more aesthetic outlook to the front bumper and also serve as a functional air flow for brake cooling.

What’s more here are some of the same features that are on the GTS3 Front Bumper. The integrated carbon fiber front lip detaches from the bumper for easy replacement in the event of road damage. Its strength, durability and reliability are also enhanced thanks to the latest innovations in carbon fiber technology.

  • The BMW E90 M3 – A Vorsteiner Project

Vorsteiner-M3-Sedan-thumbVorsteiner seem to be preoccupied these days with BMWs. More specifically, the M3 range. Well, this time it’s not actually Vorsteiner. It’s one of their dealers – Vivid Racing, based in Glibert, Arizona. They have taken a 2008 BMW M3 Sedan (E90) and have spiced it up in the name of aesthetics. At least, that’s how some people see it.

Power is not up, but Vivid Racing are considering it as the bar for more performance is now up. By the bar, I mean the stopping power – four new Brembo 380mm crossed drilled rotors complete with six-piston calipers at the front and four-piston ones at the back.

The handling may also benefit from the newly installed H & R springs and sway bars that give the beemer some more rigidity and a lower stance. For the aerodynamics, Vivid have gone for the Vorsteiner GTS3 Carbon Fiber Front Bumper that comes with an air splitter, and a Vorsteiner Carbon Fiber Boot Lid. The rear also gets a Carbon Fiber diffuser for an overall complete feel.

Subtle, lean and sleek. We like it.

  • Vorsteiner V-MS Program for BMW 5 Series M-Tech

VMS-BMW-M5-thumbVorsteiner is a company that spends a great deal of time focusing on designing wheels. And they are not looking bad at all. From time to time however, they tend to issue full-blown tuning programs complete with aerodynamic sets, wheels naturally and exhaust systems. Their latest one is called the V-MS Program and in order to eligible for it, you must posses a BMW 5 (F10) series that has the factory M Tech aero package.

The Vorsteiner provided aero bits are all from the company’s pre-peg carbon fiber line. That includes a specially designed front spoiler, a subtle trunk lid spoiler and a high-temperature resistant diffuser between the Vorsteiner F10 Sports Exhaust pipes. They on the other hand, offer a tiny power boost (+12hp and 2lb/ft of torque according to their dyno test) and also, they can sing pretty well, Formula 1 style. Rounding up the look, are the four 20 and 21-inch custom made forged wheels on which the car sits. They have been specifically made for the F10 with their 5-spoke star design matte black feel. Another thing finished (or not-finished) in matte black is the bodywork itself. I have to admit that, combined with the visible carbon aerodynamic elements, all looks astonishingly well. The only problem I have with this car are the taillights. They look like those “Shutter Shade” glasses people wear to look like Kanye West. If you are going to go subtle, go subtle – tint them or leave them as they are.

  • VMS M Sport 5 series

Vorsteiner have unveiled their latest project – V-MS for the BMW 5 series (F10) equipped with M Sport package. It involves an aerodynamic kit, new wheels and some exhaust system tweaks.

The aerodynamic kit consists of a front air splitter (designed to fit the M Sport bumper), a rear diffuser and a trunk lip spoiler – all in carbon fiber. These add-ons give a type of character to the 5 series while having a purposeful balancing role. A newly installed full cat back exhaust system ups the power by 12HP and enhances the output sound.

To round it up, the tuning house has also included a selection of 20 and 21 inch forged wheels. Feel free to browse around the gallery and see if you like it.
