APS of Brackley announced Stage One engine performance upgrade for Golf GTi MK VI.
The upgrade is just an ECU remap for the 2.0 litre EA888 TFSI Engine, which is boosted from 207bhp to 250bhp and the torque is raised from 207lb.ft to 292 lb.ft at just 2650rpm.
On the road these numbers mean that the car will accelerate from 0-60mph in 6.2 seconds and the top speed is 155mph. (more…)
Volkswagen commissioned an audit into the use of secondary raw materials known as recyclates in the new Golf. The investigation showed that 527 kg of secondary raw materials, or over 40 percent of the vehicle weight, are used in the new Golf, thus conserving resources.
