  • 2017 Insignia Grand Sport reveals new eyes! As beautiful as Audi’s, to be honest

2017 Vauxhall Insignia Grand SportVauxhall team got into the small details. This time designers took a closer look at the headlights. Or, being more precise, they have changed the usual lights of the new Insignia Grand Sport with super cool and ultra-modern lightning projectors.

These are called IntelliLux LED lights and feature incredible new functions and improvements. This is a 32-light system that results on smoother transitions between lightning patterns in order to suit any driving condition. The new system also adapts automatically the range and the distribution of light and delivers brighter lightning beams in more precise manner.

SEE ALSO: Vauxhall Ampera-e: beautiful agile and efficient. We like it!

Furthermore, there are also new functions as curve and spotlight illumination that improve the long-range visibility in night rides. For example, when taking a curve with full beam engaged, the light intensity rises automatically, depending on the steering angle and increases the overall illumination and aids the driver to see the road and different obstacles ahead. Each headlight also features a high-beam spotlight for further illumination for up to 400 meters ahead, heavily boosting Insignia’s long-range visibility. Sweet.

These bad boys were first demonstrated on the Vauxhall Monza Concept back in 2013 and showcased brand’s vision of how a beautiful and functional exterior design should look like. Three years later the improved IntelliLux LED matrix headlights are ready to rock the night.

  • Car buying made easier: top tips and tricks when looking for used automobile

Used car sales in UK The sale of used car is one of the most important topics when you can not afford buying brand new vehicle. There are always a lot of options like visiting Ilusso Hypercars and you always look for the best advice when it comes to making the big decision. Important information is at hand when it comes to the safety and risks in used car buying, which is sometimes tricky.

    Before the Search Starts

However, there are several milestones that can make your life easier. And this is even before the real searching starts. The list begins with the decision which the brand you are most fond of is. We recommend that you constrain the options up to three. Then you should continue with the selection of the engine and the model range you prefer.

For example if you are a sportier person and like to hear the roar of the car, then you should go for a petrol drivetrain. But if you count on less fuel consumption and quieter engine, your choice should be a diesel unit. Why not a hybrid? There are a lot of hybrids in the used automobiles market, and probably one of them is your future car. After finishing these two steps comes the tricky part: choosing several particular cars on the market. If you it online, you will need to ship the car home

    Examining a Particular Vehicle

When it comes to examining a particular vehicle, you should be very careful. First, you should look whether there has been an overspray that conceals the original paint. What is the risk behind this? Overspray almost always indicates that there has been crash damage in the past. The other important thing to look for is an evidence of welds in the sills or bonnet struts. Tires are also important, especially when you don’t want to buy new ones. Here you should check out the DOT (production date).

    Used car sales in UK

    Why Test Driving is Important?

Test driving the car is of course obligatory and here are the things you should be careful of. Brakes check happens easily: when you brake hard if there are any signs of steering wheel shaking, this means that the brake discs are twisted or broken. Checking the mileage and warning lamps on the dashboard is also mandatory. Don’t forget to try the capability of the air conditioning, too. Manually verify if all buttons on the dash are working correctly, as well as the hand brake, steering wheel and all else you can think of. The most important part however, is to check whether everything is legal, if there are all necessary documents and if they are correct. Now you can start negotiate about the pricing.

    Best Among the Rest

To make your life easier we will give you several examples which are the top three used car sales in UK according to the brand and model of the vehicle. Official data states that Ford Fiesta has made it to the first place as UK’s fastest selling used car for last year (MY2015). Basically, this means that if you are a car seller, then you would sell the Fiesta for just 29 days. The second place is reserved for the favorited Vauxhall Insignia, while third is the hybrid Toyota Prius. The average days to sell those are also 29. Diesel remains the most popular engine choice in the UK, while Ford is the most popular fastest selling marque.

As a matter of fact, buying a used car should not be a problem if you come to the task with common sense and courage. Good luck!

  • Vauxhall Shows Interesting Politics for its Customers

Vauxhall is the first manufacturer to offer its customers free labour, when filling the AdBlue. In fact, “Fill4Free” is part of brands Service4Fleet standards, that offer money-saving programs, fixed-cost menus and over 400 Vauxhall retailers. James Taylor, Fleet Sales Director ensures us, that the Service4Gleet Program will make customer’s life much easier. Definitely an interesting idea, but how efficient is it?

With the strict emission regulations, most Euro-6 diesel vehicles must be upgraded with a Selective Catalyst Reduction (SCR) system, that reduces the harmful Nox emissions. Current Vauxhall models, that include this technology are Insignia, Cascada, Zafira Tourer, Vivaro and Movano.

Free labour means, that customers shouldn’t worry about taking time out to source, store and fill AdBlue or worry about any kind of leaks. Vauxhall ensures, that only highest-quality components will be used.

In general, some of the Service4Fleet options include: Free top up SCR tank, when purchasing Genuine GM AdBlue; Maximum of three days of working time, Delivery service in ten miles radius; Onward mobility, if work couldn’t be completed in three days; Only genuine Vauxhall components are being used; Official pricing website and many, many more.

Well, it looks that Vauxhall knows how to care for its customers, right? Tell me what you think about the Vauxhall down in the commets.

  • Vauxhall at 2012 Geneva Motor Show

Vauxhall Mokka ThumbAt this years Geneva Motor Show, the brand Vauxhall is going to unveil stunning new models. The long awaited Astra VXR and Vauxhall Mokka are going to enter the market with their sharp design.

Firstly, the most powerful Astra ever made will make its show debut. The vehicle is based on the GTC’s platform and powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged direct injection engine. Hence, the Astra VXR produces 280PS (206 kW) of power and a mighty 400Nm of torque, achieving the top speed of 155mph. In addition it has been improved with some substantial chassis modifications, transforming it into a focused, high-performance coupe. Furthermore there was specially developed a mechanical limited slip differential, which works on the front wheels. In combination with the GTC’s sophisticated HiPerStrut (High Performance Strut), the LSD provides the Astra VXR with exceptional lateral grip and traction through bends. Further changes to the chassis feature brakes developed by Brembo, and an adaptive FlexRide system. The latte features not only a Sport button, but also a VXR button, offering drivers the choice of two, more focused stages of damper, throttle and steering control.

Next comes the Vauxhall’s Mokka entry which will break new ground for the company. This is Vauxhall’s new small SUV which will be unveiled in Geneva. The Mokka will be available with a choice of front- or all-wheel drive. The all-wheel drive system automatically transfers power to the wheels that need it most when grip levels are tested to the extreme. It is offered with three efficient engines, all equipped with fuel saving Start/Stop technology: the petrol 1.6-litre naturally-aspirated engine, another petrol 1.4-litre Turbo, and a diesel one – 1.7 CDTI turbo. All engines can be combined either with six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmissions. Moreover the Vauxhall Mokka brings cutting-edge technologies to the SUV B-segment. The first reason for this is the Advanced Adaptive Forward Lighting (AFL+). It increases driving safety based on the third-generation bi-xenon lighting system that includes High Beam Assist (HBA). There is also available a front camera system which gives the driver access to a number of functions including Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Forward Collision Alert (FCA) and second generation Traffic Sign Recognition. Undeniably, the Mokka model is very attractive.  The Mokka’s rugged character is reinforced by its higher ground clearance as well as a 1540mm track. In addition, its appeal is further enhanced by the 18-inch alloy wheels which are standard on most models.

    Vauxhall Mokka

At the Geneva Show as well will be the debut of Vauxhall’s most powerful diesel car., which produces 195PS (143 kW), 400Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque and emissions as low as 129g/km. The car is known under the name Insignia BiTurbo and it is available with a choice of five-door Hatch and Sports Tourer bodies in SRi, SRi Vx-line and Elite trims. This turbocharged diesel is based on the existing 1956cc unit which powers key models in the Insignia, Astra and new Zafira Tourer range. Nevrtheless, the BiTurbo engine produces up to 35PS more power and a significant 50Nm of extra torque, reducing the 0-100 km/h time by nearly one second to 8.2 seconds (Insignia FWD Hatch). In addition, due to the package of eco features, the FWD Hatch achieves a combined 57.6mpg, 2.2mpg better than the single-turbo 2.0 CDTi 160PS model. Furthermore there is also included the clever FlexRide adaptive damping as a standard. The system reacts within milliseconds to driver inputs and can ‘learn’ how the car is being driven and adapt damper settings accordingly. Drivers can also select Tour and Sport buttons, and configure the throttle, steering and damper settings in Sport mode separately. Moreover the FlexRide is integrated with the car’s Torque Transfer Device (TTD) and the rear axle’s electronically controlled Limited Slip Differential (e-LSD). All this allows the torque to be automatically transferred between front and rear wheels, and between left and right wheels on the rear axle, offering exceptional levels of traction, grip and control. For the safety of the passenger is featured the option of Vauxhall’s new Front Camera System, with traffic sign recognition and lane departure warning, and Adaptive Cruise Control.
