Astra VXR GTC is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged direct injection engine – 280HP (206 kW) and 400Nm (296 lb-ft) of torque. 0-100 km/h in 6.0 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).

Superchips Gives More Horsepower to Vauxhall Astra GTC

Superchips Vauxhall Astra GTC now has extra performance for its new GM 1.4-litre petrol turbo powerplant. The technicians from Superchips, are offering a great ECU Remapping program, which enhances the 1364cc 120 hp (88 kW) 1.4T motor.

Through chassis dyno and road testing, Superchips has developed a performance Bluefin ECU remap which improves its power output while at the same time retaining factory failsafe protocols and reliability levels.

The Superchips Bluefin ECU remap produces additional 22 hp (16 kW) at 5428 rpm, with progressive increases throughout the rev range from just 1700 rpm all the way to the powerplant’s 6250rpm limiter. Torque outputs are similarly enhanced, with the Superchips remap producing noticeable gains from 2500 to 5000 rpm. In fact the overall increase in the torque here is 36 Nm (26 lb-ft) at just 2557rpm.

The consequence of the modifications done are more liveliness of the Vauxhall, more exciting driving and enhanced fast cruising, overtaking and load carrying performance .Yet this extra verve doesn’t come at the expense of fuel economy.

The reason is the combination of the additional low-speed torque and the extra efficiencies, meaning that if the car is driven in a “like for like” manner then standard fuel economy levels will be retained.

Superchips Volkswagen Golf MK6 Bluemotion

Superchips Volkswagen Golf MK6 Bluemotion is the latest tuning the Buckingham based firm has been dealing with. This Mk6 Volkswagen Golf 1.6 TDi 103 hp (75 kW) has boosted levels and fuelling settings to safely and reliably extract the remarkable increase in terms of power.

The enhancement was made with the utilization of extensive data logging, dyno testing and on-road analysis. In fact, the Superchips ECU remap achieves a proven maximum power gain of 41 hp (30 kW) at 4070 rpm.

Superchips Nissan Qashqai 1.5 DCi – 130HP and 275Nm

Superchips now offer a performance program for the best-selling Nissan Qashqai – the 1.5 DCi model delivering 110HP and 248Nm.

Thanks to an ECU re-map, the small turbo-diesel is boosted to 130HP and 275Nm of torque. This is an increase of 20HP and 27Nm.

Superchips Abarth 500

Abarth 500 get some more boost from SuperChips ltd. The specialists has worked its magic on the Abarth’s Bosch MED7.9.10 engine management system to enable the 500’s 1.4-litre turbocharged engine to deliver some more power.

Still, the reliability doesn’t suffer at all, because everything is carefully tested on dyno. The ECU remap gives enhanced performance without any side effects.

Superchips Citroen DS3 Racing

Citroen DS3 Racing is one of the best hot hatches currently available on the market. According to us, it is the best, because it includes everything that a hot hatch needs – power and style!

Superchips has revealed a tuning program for the performance R56 MINI Cooper S Turbo. The ECU re-map for “Phase 2” versions of the hot hatchback boosts the 184PS 1.6 litre turbocharged engine, produced from 1st March 2010 onwards.

The ECU re-map adds 25PS at 5444RPM and 32Nm at 3765Nm. The total power of the vehicle is 209PS and around 290Nm of torque.
