  • 2011 Dodge Challenger SRT8 392 – A Muscle from the future

    Dodge exhibits the 2011 Challenger SRT8 392 at 2010 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. It is powered by a new 6.4 liter HEMI V8 delivering 470hp (350kW) and 637Nm (470lb-ft) of torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed automatic (a 6-speed manual is an option) gearbox, which transmits the power on the road through LSD at the rear wheels. The monster accelerates from 0 to 60mph in 4 seconds and the top speed is 290 km/h (180mph).   • MOPAR with 35 vehicles at the 2010 SEMA Show

    MOPAR will present 35 vehicles at the 2010 SEMA Show, which takes place November 2nd to 5th in Las Vegas.

    One of the most interesting is the new 2011 Challenger SRT8 392 with 6.4 liter HEMI V8 delivering 470hp (350kW) and 637Nm (470 lb-ft) of torque. The engine features a variable intake manifold, multi-cylinder deactivation, and VVT technology. Thanks to the updates, the new SRT8 will be 15 to 20% more fuel efficient than its predecessor. (more…)
