If you are browsing through the pages of our page, then it is most likely that you have been watched the “Fast and Furious” movie series. And specifically if you have seen the number 4 film, then you’ll definitely remember the Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34) that Paul Walker drove. As a matter of fact in the movie took part exactly nine examples of the car, but this one is absolutely an original one of those nines.
It is also very interesting that the car on sale didn’t have a specified price tag, but rumors say that the price tag could reach 5 million euro. And this is why we ask you: how much would you give for this blue beauty?
About this Nissan: it is powered by a six-cylinder 2.6-liter twin-turbo engine, which is fitted with a front-mounted Turbonetics intercooler. The numbers of the output are 550 horsepower (404 kW) channeled through a six-speed Getrag manual gearbox. The car has been driven for only 6,000 km (which equates to 3,728 miles) and is currently located in Germany.
What is more, this Skyline also features versatile range of upgrades. To name a few, take into account the Nismo lowering springs and exhaust, as well as the custom roll cage inside. The Rotora brakes with front six-piston and rear four-piston calipers provide the perfect stopping power, while the Nismo Version II bumper fitted with side skirts extends the muscular appeal.
The interior also includes Sony head unit as well as custom head-up display. If you look below the Momo steering wheel wrapped in Alcantara, you’ll find Nismo V-spec pedals. There are also OMP seats and five-point harness that need to be mentioned.
Nissan has unveiled an all-new Skyline 200GT-t in Japan. The sedan will be built exclusive for Japanese domestic market and is expected to go on sale on June 5th. Although, it has the name of the legendary Skyline R-model, the new 200GT-t is a normal everyday vehicle.
It is powered by a 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine taken from Mercedes-Benz. It develops 211HP (155 kW) and 350Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque. There are no official performance figures, but the small saloon is going to have “exhilarating driving response and powerful acceleration.”
The engine is equipped with direct-injection, variable valve timing and an engine start/stop system. This means – 7.3 liters / 100 km (31.9 mpg US or 38.4 mpg UK) on combined cycle, which is decent considering the power.
Besides the new engine, the Skyline gains a modified rear suspension, a Drive mode selector and an optional Direct Adaptive Steering system. 2014 Nissan Skyline 200GT-t is priced from ¥3,834,000 (including tax). The manufacturer is expecting to sell 200 units every month.
Ivan Jaramillo is the main character in the latest video of Petrolicious, besides his Nissan Skylines of course. For him driving is all about exhilaration and appreciating the moment. In fact, when he is in one of his Skylines he leaves all the problems aside and all that he does is to “feel” the driving excitement.
An important part of the experience is also listening to the car and the sound of the engine. And as a matter of fact Ivan says that there isn’t anything else in the world that can be compared with their sound.
Another benefit of owning such cars is that it draws people’s attention, and even if they don’t know anything about it still provokes excitement of seeing it. The aggressive exterior design undoubtedly contributes towards this.
In other words, everything resolves around the passion, depth, and love that this man has for its Skylines. This video portrays the enthusiasm and adoration which these remarkable cars create. But enough talk, check it out for yourself!
The breath-taking Nissan Skyline is the latest addition to the Depth of Speed inspiring episodes. Depth of Speed was created with the aim to bring the greatest stories from the automotive world to the genera public.
In other words, everything resolves around the passion, depth, and love that the automotive world brings. This video portrays the enthusiasm and adoration which this remarkable version of Nissan Skyline has created in its owner.
The owner – Eric Bauer, had made this Nissan unique, and more importantly in the video below you will understand what inspired him to do so. He not only provides 3D modeling services to many automakers across the world, but also teaches at the Art Center College of Design.
He is definitely encouraging many students to take up a future in auto design and bring to fruition their passion, as he did. Furthermore Bauer is discussing the inimitable and eye-catching automobile and what makes it unlike any other.
Watch and hear how Eric speaks about the twelve year story in the making of this car.
The reaction time in drag racing is almost as important as the power of your car, because you may have less horsepower than you opponent and still win. However, in this case, the reaction time doesn’t matter and the more powerful car is a winner with few thousandths of a second.
The epic battle is between Bugatti Veyron and highly tuned Nissan Skyline GT-R R34. The run is on one mile and as you can see in the video, the GT-R R34 is in front all the time, because of the superb reaction time and the better ¼ mile time. The power-to-weight ratio is extremely important, when the race is at ¼ mile (402.33 m)and much less, when it is on a full mile (1.609 km).
Bugatti Veyron stops the clock at 10.523 at ¼ mile with 223 km/h and 26.122 at one mile with 328 km/h, while the Skyline GT-R R34 achieved 10.426 at ¼ mile with 216 km/h and 26.154 at one mile with 311 km/h.
Bugatti Veyron is powered by a 8.0 liter quad-turbocharged sixteen-cylinder engine delivering 1001PS (736 kW) and 1250Nm (922 lb-ft) of torque.
The original Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 is powered by a2.6 L twin-turbo inline-six with 332PS (244 kW) and 392 Nm (289 lb-ft).
Each car enthusiast has a movie that makes them smile just thinking of it. You will have the opportunity to read a little more about some of the most cherished cars used in movies.

AUDI A8 W12- Transporter 2
This car is taking a serious part in the plot of the movie. Jason Statham needs to chase the bad guys all over the place and the Audi is a serious partner in his mission. The movie is abundant with stunts that the A8 has to perform. Thanks to the massive twelve-cylinder 6.0 liter engine and some driving skill of course, it almost looks easy to do.

Nissan Skyline R34- The Fast and the Furious
One of the fastest cars in the world, the dream of the PlayStation generation. The Skylines used in the movie are GTRs but not quite – the purpose of these cars was to draw attention and being all wheel drive, the grip was too much for burnouts and fun. That’s why the Skylines used, had their front driveshafts excised and the magic was done. As you already know the GTRs are claimed 280 hp from the factory, which is ridiculous for a 6 cylinder 2.6 twin-turbo engine. Still one of the two fastest skylines used in the movies is claimed 505 hp, which is enough to do 12 seconds in the quarter mile run. The main car used in the movie has been equipped with HKS tuning parts, JIC’s suspension and 3 NOS bottles, neither of which had something to do with the engine. Being so full of “extras”, AWD and AWS removed, the performance is not quite as what is expected from a skyline though.

Mini Cooper S John Cooper Works– The Italian Job
Complicated relations, a lot of money, a lot of thrill and a couple of Mini Coopers as a final touch. In the plot several old friends are trying to get to a huge amount of gold. For the purpose they need small, maneuverable and still fast cars. The Mini Cooper turns out to be the best option for the job. The Aero body kit makes the cars look stunning. Did you know that gasoline-powered vehicles were not allowed in the subway system of LA, that’s why a couple of electric cars were built for these scenes? In total 32 Minis were used in the movie, some of them specially customized to make some of the incredible stunts possible.

Volkswagen Beetle – Herbie Fully Loaded
This is a car with a lot of history in the movie world. It has participated in a couple of Disney movies starting in 1968 – The Love Bug. What is strange and interesting about Herbie is that it is almost a human being – has his own thoughts, soul and drives himself. 30 Beetles were used for the footage of the last movie of the series – “Herbie Fully Loaded”. One of the beetles has a 200hp engine that is capable of getting the car to over 135 mph. Unfortunately having all the effects of modern cinema, the car looks normal no more. It moves its bumper, blinks, gives out noises etc. Unlike the first movies from the series, where you could just feel that there was something special about the car, some kind of emotion, without making it look human.

Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 ‘Eleanor’ – Gone in Sixty Seconds
The dream machine from “Gone in 60 seconds”. Alike the movie, this car is a true masterpiece and quite a mystery. The car is named Eleanor, but initially the plan was not to use a mustang at all. At first the idea was to have a GT40 grabbing the attention. However, it turned out that building one would cost a fortune even considering what the purpose was. Basically it was all making a car from scratch – literally. The car was first put on paper and then various specialists started creating the separate parts and adapt them to fit the Mustang. What not too many people know is that the side exhausts are not functional and neither are the side air feeds. The car in the movie is shown so fast that the driver was scared of it and would talk to it prior to driving. The car ended up in a private collection, $216 700 were paid for the beauty. Still, there are garages that can build another one for you for some (in) decent amount of money.
How it all began? The first skyline was manufactured in 1957. And it was… a luxury 4-door saloon car or and five door station wagon. For sure, it had nothing to do with Skyline’s image from the 90’s till nowadays.
The first skyline to receive the GT-R badge came off the production line in in February 1969. It had a 2.0L inline 6 engine. This new DOHC engine produced 160HP and would rev to more than 7000RPM – an exceptional performance for the late 60’s .
After the first skyline GT-R in 1969, it has evolved till 1981 in terms of power and design, but not significantly. The C210 (1977-1981) had even diesel version – 2,8 L inline NA diesel. Until then, the skyline has definitely not been positioned as a purely sports car… but this was about to change.
The R30(1983-1985) and especially the R31(1985-1989) were the first skylines to create the sporty image of the vehicle.
They were also the first ones to have more than 200HP output. These two models did not have a GT-R version. However, they did have versions with more than 400HP in their racing versions. Something else to make the R31 so special is the first RB engine – a base that also used for the R32, R33 and R34.
The RB26DETT era.
The GT-R badge was last put on a skyline in 1973. It was time for it to come back. The RB26DETT – a totally meaningless blend of letters and numbers that was about to become a legend. Two turbines, six cylinders. 280HP after serious muzziling due to the gentlemen’s agreement . However, removing the restrictor of the electronic boost control (surprisingly very easy to locate), the car would make more than 310HP, 0-100 in less than 5 seconds and a quarter mile in 12,8. The R32 was nicknamed Godzilla after 2 consecutive wins in the Australian Touring Car Championship.
R32 Nissan Skyline GT-R
The RB26DETT was further developed in R33(1993-1998) and R34(1999-2002) and deliverer more and more torque, but was still advertised as 280HP to comply with the gentlemen’s agreement. There are many examples of skylines equipped with RB26DETT producing more than 1200HP. A real masterpiece of engineering and a dream for any tuner.
R33 Nissan Skyline GT-R
The left hand drive.
There is only one GT-R model that was produced with LHD – the R35. Apart from its predecessors, it is not using the RB26DETT, but the newly developed VR38DETT. Producing more than 480HP, it accelerates the car to 100 in less than 3,5 seconds.
So after all, what makes the skylines so special?
The mystery is the key. You never know, what exactly you are buying, what the booklet says is… not exactly true. It brings the spirit of Japan. Having all these modern gadgets and and all the technology, a car could possibly fit it just fight the laws of logics and physics (and Porsche too).
