2017 SCHMIDT BMW M4 Convertible Back in 1985 Volker SCHMIDT started a kind of cult with the establishment of SCHMIDT Felgan company. Throughout the years, the brand has proved itself worthy with the numerous lucky vehicles that received neat upgrades and changes. Even today SCHMIDT Felgan company is well-known among automobile tuning freaks and they all would gladly tell you that is one of a kind experience to have your car tweaked by the hands of these magicians!

And today we feel lucky and happy to show you brand’s latest creation: a BMW M4 unit with convertible top with tons of changes and tweaks! As you might expect from brand like BMW, the vehicle is super sexy by itself and also delivers some massive power output, mixed with outstanding road behavior. And of course, SHMIDT team did not miss the chance to showcase its dedication to tuning. The Bavarian beauty now proudly showcases large wheels and tires: these are 10,5Jx20 with Michelin sporty tires in 265/30 R20 on the front and 11,5×21 with even more massive 305/25 R21 on the rear axle.

Of course, this is not all: one more noticeable addition is the installment of numerous carbon-fiber body parts. Also, the additional Lowtec springs provide more menacing stance and ensure even more cornering stability. In addition, the exhaust system comes with EG operating permit and carbon pipes. And all this is topped with neat matte vinyl wrapping in Daytona Grey. Sexy, menacing and unique. We definitely like this one!

Schmidt Revolution Mercedes-Benz C-Class W205

Schmidt Revolution has slightly improved the new Mercedes-Benz C-Class W205. The tuning package include new wheels, sport suspension and some power boost from Carlsson.

The luxurious saloon rolls enormous 8.5J x 20” front wheels fitted with 235/30 R20 Dunlop performance tires and 10J x 20” at the rear wrapped in 275/25 R20. The rims are finished in SatinBlack and upon request can be ordered in silver. The price is available upon request.

The stance is improved thanks to KW Inox Line-Variant 3- coilover. It alloys adjusting the ride height on the front axle and rear axle between 35 and 70 millimetres. The damping is also adjustable in the rebound and compression stages independently of each other. The price is €1,949. There will be also KW DDC ECU coilover with electronic adjustment of damping.

The C-Class 220 Blue TEC is boosted to 204HP (150 kW) and 500Nm (370 lb-ft) of torque – an increase 34HP and 100Nm thanks to an ECU re-map provided by Carlsson.

The tuning package from Schmidt is a perfect example, how to create an impressive vehicle without flashy spoilers and LED all over the place. The tuned C-Class looks fantastic just with big wheels and improved stance.

Schmidt Revolution Audi R8

Schmidt Revolution is now offering an extreme tuning package for the stylish sports car – Audi R8. Its stance is simply impressive, because it is not only lowered into the tarmacs but is also widened to more than 2 meters.

Schmidt fitted the tuned R8 with enormous 9.5J x 20” ET6 (front) and 12.5J x 20” ET2 (rear) alloy wheels fitted with Hankook tires S1 Evo 235/30 R20 and 305/25 R20, respectively. The wheels come with Radinox rims 5.5” (rear) and 4” (front) assembled on deep concave FS-Line centres.

Otherwise, the exterior is modified by Triple-X in Bochum. These tuning specialists have modified the front and rear wheel arches to take deep dished wheels. Last, but not least is the sports exhaust system, which might be silenced by a throttle system.

As a reminder: the 2012 Audi R8 GT has a 5.2 liter V10 FSI – 560HP (412 kW), which is enough for catapulting to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds and to 200 km/h in 10.8 seconds. The top speed is 320 km/h (199 mph). In real life, the R8 GT is able to cover 1 km distance in just 21.392 seconds with a trap speed of 253 km/h. In other words, it accelerates 0-253 km/h in 21.4 seconds.

Schmidt Revolution has presented their latest project based on the new Porsche Boxster. The roadster received minor styling upgrades, but it looks way better.

The exterior boasts a set enormous alloy wheels – 8.5J x 20″ at the front and 10J x 20″ at the rear fitted with 245/30 ZR20 and 285/30 ZR20, respectively. The tuning company offers different sizes from 8.5J x 19″ to 10J x 20. Special colours and special bolt circle according to customer requirements, as well as powder coatings are naturally also possible.

Manufactured from one piece, Gambit rims impress among others with extremely sporty design with polished Outline.

For perfect stance, Schmidt has installed a set of lowering Eibach springs (-30 mm front and rear).

Better Performance: Schmidt Revolution BMW 335i F30

Schmidt Revolution BMW 335i F30 delivers better performance. How? By the irreversible evidence of physics that the performance of the unit depends on the mass to be moved. And this is why the tuners have paid attention to the weight saving.

The first visible modification on this BMW is the new rims, which include RADINOX®-technology. The latter offers special stainless steel alloy material which is absolutely corrosion free. In addition it provides compressive strength in the cases of kerbing damage for instance.

To be more precise, this BMW 335i F30 three-piece 20-inch wheels are carrying the name Schmidt Revolution FS Line and are in sizes 8,5×20 and 10×20 inches at the front and rear respectively. They are fitted with Continental 5P tyres in size 235/35-20 and 265/30-20, on the front and rear axle.

Another tuning brand has been involved in this transformation and it is Lightweight, which has offered this BMW an improvement in performance in two levels. The first level enhances the power output to 336 hp (247 kW) and 460 Nm (338 lb-ft) of torque at 5.700 rpm. The second one – the level two, increases the power of this vehicle up to 365 hp (268 kW) and 480 Nm (353 lb-ft) of torque at 5.600.

Furthermore, the muffer made from titanium is also delivered by Leightweight. It includes two 80-mm-tail pipes for the adaptation to the series system and it also contributes to some additional visual accents. In order to optimize the driving dynamics, the specialists have given the car Bilstein-B12-chassis with stabilizers from Eibach.

Schmidt Vokswagen Golf 7 Equipped with XS5 Wheels

Schmidt Vokswagen Golf 7 XS5 has one-of-a-kind road presence. The reason for this is that it is equipped with brand new set of “shoes”. As a matter of fact, the rims are among the most important accessories of every car.

Schmidt Revolution, which is rims manufacturer, delivered for this Volkswagen the finest rims. Each wheel set is individually adjusted and each two front and rear wheels with desired offset are adjusted exactly to the vehicle.

We are speaking here for the XS5 model which comes in different concavities with embossed spokes. The bigger the wheel is, the more concave the spoke is. The wheel arches are in any case optimally filled through adjusting the offset – no matter, whether airrides or coil over.

Chrome-plated steel panels provide a perfect shine.

Embossed spoke runs against the rim well, what a design. The stainless steel panels, which receives through its gloss additional chromium plating reflector, refines the drop center of one piece rims in a special way and makes the wheel suitable both for winter and everyday utilization.

In this case the new Golf 7 is supplied with wheels in sizes 8,5 and 9 inches. Those size can also fit perfectly to the models such as Audi TT RS, Audi RS3, Opel OPC and VW GTI are served. For the upper middle class a much broader and thus concaveness wheel with 10, 5 inch is available for the rear axle. They will fit very well to BMW 3 series and 6 series, Mercedes AMG, Nissan GTR for instance.

Schmidt Revolution Audi RS6

Schmidt Revolution introduced their tuning program for Audi RS6 (C6).

The powerful touring car comes with astonishing 5.0 liter twin-turbocharged V10 with 580PS (426 kW) and 650Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque. 0-100 km/h in 4.6 seconds, 0-200 km/h in 12.7 s and a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph) – electronically limited.

However, the tuning specialists from Schmidt Revolution consider these times slow, so they bumped the engine up to whopping 700PS (515 kW) and 790Nm (583 lb-ft), which is an increase of 120PS and 140Nm. The acceleration is not mentioned although it will be a lot faster, especially the 0-200 km/h, but the top speed is approximately 330 km/h (205 mph).

The upgrades don’t stop here and the tuned RS6 also boasts a set of new 10J x 22” CC LINE light alloy wheels with polished external bed. They are wrapped in 265/30 ZR22 tires all around.

Shmidt Revolution and The Powerhouse

With the 5th generation of Golf GTIs, Volkswagen decided to bring back the essence of the original and iconic Golf GTI Mk 1. Anyone who has seen the the Golf GTI from the 70’s can immediately point out which genes have made it on to the Mk. 5. The red lining of the front honeycomb grille, the black side skirts, the plaid seats and a typical tachometer all give away the otherwise discrete hot hatch.

Shmidt Revolution, a German tuning company, finding it pointless to try and improve on perfection (so to speak) have preserved all these elements in their project called The Powerhouse. What they have done to change the appearance of the VW however is to put an again standard R32 rear bumper and add a lip spoiler and some skirts here and there.

The original 2.0 TFSI, 200 horsepower engine has undergone an ECU upgrade and the air intake has been tweaked by HG Motorsport from Lubeck. The end result is a 275 horsepower lump of power that can take you anywhere you want. And you will be able to go literally anywhere as there is also an all-in-one Kenwood DNX520VBT navigation system provided.

To wrap it up, Shmidt have fitted four massive 19 inch Gotham wheels wearing 225/35R19 Marangoni M-power all-rounders.

Schmidt Revolution Porsche Cayenne II

Schmidt Revolution has introduced their tuning program for Porsche Cayenne.

However, it consists of a huge wheels in dimensions 10J × 22” for the rims and 295/30 R22 snow tires. The tuning company will also fully prepare your car for the harsh winter testing.

A very interesting winter SUV is the diesel powered Cayenne II, which has a 3.0 liter V6 diesel with 240PS (180 kW) and 550Nm (410 lb-ft) of torque. The performance is nice – 0 to 100 km/h in 7.6 seconds and top speed of 220 km/h (136 mph). The vehicle achieves up to 39 mpg on combined cycle.

The engine received a new turbocharger, a revamp of the injection system and enhanced thermal management. The weight of Cayenne II Diesel has dropped to 2080kg.

All these improvements make diesel powered Cayenne a perfect solution for winter conditions.
