  • Ringbrothers Ford Mustang Convertible CAGED

Ringbrothers, the world-renowned custom car builder and parts manufacturer, has unveiled its latest creation — a custom-built 1964.5 Ford Mustang convertible known as “CAGED.” The design objective was to subtly evolve and modernize the original Mustang’s lines and proportions while honoring the aesthetic of Ford’s original pony car. The result is a modern appeal and unbridled performance mating the design of a 20th-century icon with the technology of the 21st.

Born from an original 1964.5 Mustang convertible, nearly every component is a Ringbrothers-built one-off piece, with the only factory Mustang parts being the center caps for the wheels. The Ringbrothers team conducted extensive metalwork converting the Roadster Shop FAST TRACK chassis back into a unibody, as well as widening and lengthening the bodywork by one inch. The BASF Glasurit “Burgundy Brave” finish was then applied, and all the chrome and stainless-steel trim was treated with Cerakote Titanium C-105P

  • Ringbrothers Shows Sketches of 980 HP Chevrolet Chevelle Ahead of SEMA Reveal

Ringbrothers-SEMA-Chevrolet-Chevelle-Sketch-THUMBRingbrothers are going to SEMA Show with unique Chevrolet Chevelle. They have released four sketches which give us the idea of what we are to see at the event. The car made back in the 1966 will now take a contemporary form and will benefit from the cool features the modern automobile technology can offer. In addition, the tuning company has also announced that the project will be dubbed “Recoil” and will blend the pure power of a race car with the sleek and detailed finish of a show car.

What is more, the Recoil project will be equipped with a Chevrolet’s LS7 V8 engine, which pushes out 980 horsepower (720 kW) to the rear wheels. The unit is fitted with Whipple-supercharger and a custom Flowmaster exhaust system.

In addition, the customization specialists also said that the car has been renovated and features hand-laid carbon fiber panels and trim pieces. This Chevy Chevelle runs on modern HRE Wheels and there are also several other details just like the LED-lights.

Chevelle was introduced in 1963 and was created with the aim to compete with Ford Fairlane. It was offered in two-door hardtop coupe and convertible variants as well as four-door sedans and station wagons. Six-cylinder and V8 power was offered across the board.

In 1966, the Chevelle saw a complete restyle of the previous frame, which featured smooth contours, new grille and bumper as well as curved side windows. The engines offered back then were the 327-cubic-inch V8 and the mid-level 220 horsepower 283-cubic-inch V8 unit. Options included tachometer, mag-style wheel covers and sintered-metallic brakes.

  • Ringbrothers Ford Mustang Blizzard – 710HP

Ringbrothers have unveiled their Ford Mustang Blizzard for 2013 SEMA. It boasts brilliant white paint job and super powerful V8.

Blizzard gets its power from a highly modified 351-based 427cid V8 engine NASCAR Sprint Cup Series style engine build by Wegner Motorsports. Induction is handled by a Holley carburetor and exhaust is funneled through Flowmaster Mufflers. Ringbrothers has also installed a Be Cool radiator and fan setup that keep the engine running at its optimal temperature while Royal Purple lubricants work to keep everything running smoothly. The result is 710HP (529 kW) sent to the rear wheels through a Bowler 5-speed manual transmission and a John’s Industry limited-slip differential.

Putting all of the power to the ground are a set of HRE 560R forged wheels shod in Nitto Invo tires that measure 265 up front and 325 out back. Inside of the wheels, Baer six-piston calipers bring this pony to a stop from full gallop without even breaking a sweat. The car is actually setup to handle as well as the Stock Cars that inspired its engine thanks to a Detroit Speed & Engineering front coilover and rear Quadralink suspension with AFCO shocks and DSE sway bars.

At the heart of the vehicle lies a Wegner Motorsports LS3 engine which produces 600 horsepower (441 kW) through a ZF five-speed gearbox from Bowler Performance Transmissions with a B&M shifter handling the gear changes. The sound of the engine is created by a pair of Flowmaster stainless steel mufflers while Royal Purple synthetic oils, which keep everything running smoothly.

In order to transfer this power onto the road, the car has been equipped with a set of HRE forged wheels shod in Nitto tires, while the stopping power is going to be produced by Baer six-piston calipers at each corner.
