RENNtech team tweaks an agile AMG S 63 beast [VIDEO]

2018 RENNtech Mercedes-AMG E 63 Mercedes-AMG vehicles are still one of the best in terms of technological advancement, features and sporty feel. Refined and revised to perfection, every AMG machine would showcase beautiful body language, along with one of a kind driving experience. However, there are people who seek even more – RENNtech, for example, who offer a special upgrade kit for E 63 and E 63 S.

This upgrade focuses on boosting the performance of engine and transmission, but also adds a kick to the turbo function. By installing the gadget, the overall output is measured at the impressive 800hp at 6,800rpm and maximum torque at 1,050Nm. Cool, right? Oh, yeah, also the top speed is a bit increased. Sweet!

Also, here’s an interesting fact about the developing process – RENNtech team has worked in close collaboration with TÜV Rheinland technical control board in order to offer TUV registration. In fact, one of the most pleasurable features about this project is that one must not sacrifice the comfort and smoothness of everyday driving for some brutal and in-your-face sporty experience. The drivetrain is fine-tuned in such a way that offers the best of the two worlds – agility, speed, blended with utility and pleasure of driving.

And given that the owner would like to change the balance in favor of performance, there is an optional set of ceramic-coated downpipes with 200-cell sports cats. What these bad boys do is to improve the overall power distribution and contribute to a rather recognizable and menacing engine roar. Oh, yeah. This system also adds more 20 horsepower to the overall output. Cool!

And what better place to try out such a vehicle than the Nürburgring Nordschleife track? Something else, specialists from RENNtech have created a special development and testing center right next to the legendary circuit and it has never been easier to try out and discuss the track capabilities with experts. RENNtech also offers large choice of AMG machines that could be tested on the race track. And as you might imagine, these beasts offer a total output between 612 and 825 horsepower and torque that varies between 730 and 850Nm, depending on the vehicle. And given that the tuning studio offers additional performance package for even more extreme driving experience, we should say that we are impressed by all the things that are happening in this studio.

And as any other self-respected automobile engineers, the good guys at RENNtech offer comprehensive exterior updates and changes. For example, the latest addition at the studio are these fresh new forged RPS 10.2 rims, exclusively made at VOSSEN. These are 10×19 and 12×20-inch bad boys, wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 ZP and feature green accents and overall stylish and yet aggressive look. Renntech Mercedes McLaren SLR with ADV05 Deep Concave wheels

Mercedes-Benz McLaren SLR is powered by a hand-built 5.4 liter supercharged V8 – 626HP (460 kW) at 6,500RPM and 780Nm (580 lb-ft) at 3,250RPM. Renntech boosted the engine to whopping 750HP (551 kW) and 992Nm (735 lb-ft). The result is thanks to upgraded headers, exhaust, intercooler, and an ECU re-map.

Additionally, the tuned SLR comes with big brake system behind a set of ADV05 Deep Concave wheels – 9.5 J x 20”at the front and 10.5J x 21”| at the rear fitted with proper tires. The rims have a matte black center and gloss black lips and inners to create the ultimate hyper car.

Nothing is mentioned about the prices of the performance mods as well as the set of wheels.

RENNtech Mercedes-Benz CL 65 with Multi Spoke Forged Wheels in Silver Pearl

The latest project of RENNtech involved the Mercedes-Benz CL 65 model. The tuners have equipped the emblematic car with the lightest two-piece forged wheels on the market available.

They entirely change the stance of the white Mercedes-Benz, contributing to its more luxurious oulook. The multi spoke forged wheels are finished in a beautiful silver pearl enhancing the style and aggressiveness of the car.

The wheels measure 21″ front & rear in 9.0″ and 10.5″ widths respectively and feature a single barrel designed with each wheel manufactured using state-of-the-art processes. They are elegant but still sporty. In fact, this forged design includes much tighter tolerances than spun multi-piece wheels.

Of course, RENNtech have used only high quality materials to ensure that these wheels are superior to any 3-piece design. In addition, the utilized multi-spoke forged wheel offers ultra lightweight wheel with unmatched strength for the most demanding of performance driven enthusiasts.

2012 RENNtech Mercedes-Benz S 65

RENNtech featured 21″ Forged Wheels on the absolutely astonishing Mercedes-Benz S 65 model. The wheels have a brushed finish and in addition are combined with the RENNtech digital lowering module (DLM). Thus the S Class now has even more aggressive stance and sporty look. RENNtech Signature wheels include a single barrel design. They have been manufactured with some unique state-of-the-art processes. As you can see they are elegant and refined thank to the forged design, which includes much tighter tolerances than spun multi-piece wheels. Renntech MINI ECU Upgrade

RENNtech Tuning usually deal with ECU tunings and exhaust system fiddling. Now the Mini Cooper has been introduced to them and it wont be an exception.

ECU upgrades will be available for both Mark 1 (2006-2010) and 2 (2010-present). The RENNtech people have an already developed tuning program for BMW so why not MINI? Significant change after the upgrade, can be felt in the “S” and John Cooper Works editions. By modifying the ignition timing and throttle mapping, optimizing air/fuel ratio, overriding the top speed limiter and tinkering with the turbo where possible, RENNtech’s ECU upgrade has managed to extract 45 hp more from the standard engine. On Mark 2 MINI that ECU boost can be initiated by the press of a button (the sport button) so that the driver can have full control on the engine works.

To round things up, RENNtech have thrown in an Akrapovic Evolution Exhaust system and an optional down pipe for the additional 8 hp and 10 lb/ft of torque. Who says toy dogs can’t bite?

RENNtech revealed C74 Konzept

The latest creation of ReNNtech is the C74 Konzept, which is based on Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG.

The project features a lot of carbon fibre such as – rear spoiler, front splitter, and rear diffuser, also including a widebody kit. The car stands on huge 3-part forged alloys fitted with Nitto INVO ultra-performance tires.

You already know about the 6.2 liter naturally aspirated V8 engine from Mercedes, which turned to be incredibly successful with its 457hp at 6800RPM and 600Nm of torque. However, ReNNtech boosted the engine to the mighty 605hp (451kW) and 752Nm (555 lb-ft). (more…)

Renntech SL65 AMG Black Series has enough torque to stop the Earth

The Performance Package of Renntech for SL 65 AMG Black Series boosts the car to 1356Nm (1000 lb-ft)of torque and 816PS.

Its massive 6.0 liter V12 with two turbochargers originally develops just 670PS and 1000Nm (737 lb-ft) of torque and still overjumps the 200mph barrier. Probably with the additional 146PS and 356 torques, Renntech are trying to blast the sports coupe in the space and reach the Moon. (more…)

Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG refined by Renntech

Mercedes-Benz are famous with the enormous engines , which they put in cars and their megalomania didn’t miss C class. The result is C63 AMG, which has 6.2 liter V8 naturally aspirated engine producing 451hp.

Unfortunately, the same engine produced 507 and 518 horsepower in E and S class. The big V8 got more restrictive intake and exhaust paths, because it is a tight fit in the smaller C class.

“Mercedes restricted the car,” explains Hartmut Feyhl. “So, our first step in extracting more power from the C63 is to de-restrict the car.” (more…)

RENNTECH SL65 V12 Bi-Turbo Black Series is a car from the future. It has almost unlimited amount of power.

The original SL65 Black Series delivers 670hp and 1000N/m of torque. After installing Performance Package 1 from Renntech, which includes ECU/TCU tuning, Dual Intercooler Pump Upgrade, and Sport Mufflers the power is rised to 805 HP and 1355 N/m of torque at the crank. (more…)
