  • Skoda Four-door Coupe [render]

X-Tomi Design has published a very good render picture of a possible compact four-coupe from Skoda. It is named Garde by the designer and is based on the VisionC, which was fully revealed by the Czech company during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.

Skoda didn’t confirm any production model, but there are big chances that it could be introduced next year as MY2016. The new stylish four-door coupe will be slotted between the Octavia and Superb in the company’s lineup. There is no doubt that it would be a lot appreciated, because the company offer only “normal” vehicles for now.

It is expected to ride on the same MQB platform as the Octavia, so the engine range will be taken directly from it. In other words, there will be power units from 86HP (63 kW) with 1.2 liter TSI engine to the decent 220HP (162 kW) in the RS variant powered by 2.0 liter TSI engine. The new 1.4 liter TSI engine with 110HP (81 kW) will be also offered. It meets the EU6 regulations and runs on CNG (compressed natural gas) with consumption of just 3.4 kg / 100 km with corresponding emissions of 91 g/km of CO2.

Actually, Skoda had Garde in the in their range, but approximately 30 years ago. This was a rear-engined, rear-wheel drive car with 1.2 liter engine and a 4-speed manual transmission.

  • BMW X7 [render]

TheophilusChin has published two interesting render images of the upcoming BMW X7. The flagship looks pretty much as an enlarged X5 F15 and the rear reminds its direct rival – Mercedes-Benz GL-Class. It is expected to hit the market sometime in 2017 or 2018, but nothing is for sure.

BMW strongly reject to release any information about the possible model. It will probably come with a new engine range also including a hybrid version. Of course, fully-electric model is not excluded from the plans.

BMW X7 will be manufactured at the company’s Spartanburg (SC) plant, where the most expensive car brand in the world will invest over $1,000,000,000.

Until then, we expect to see how the new X5 eDrive will perform in the real world. It features a TwinPower Turbo four-cylinder petrol engine and an electric motor with 95HP (70 kW). The expected range is up to 30 km (19 miles) only on electricity with speeds of up to 120km/h (75 mph). X-Tomi Design has published an awesome render picture of the upcoming Audi TT RS. It is extremely aggressive, but in the same time carries the unique style of the latest Audi cars. The recently announced 3rd generation of TT has already get an S version, so it is quite possible the German manufacturer will make a super-powerful RS model.

Still, it is quite early for the top-of-range model, but the RS will basically look a lot like TT-S. To match the aggressive exterior, the TT-RS will come with an improved 2.0 liter TFSI engine with around 400HP (294 kW) compared to the 310HP (228 kW) and 380Nm (280 lb-ft) of torque power unit in TT-S.

Of course, Audi TT RS is expected no sooner than 2015, which will be followed by even more spectacular version – TT RS Plus coming sometime in 2016.

The TT range will be joined by Audi TT Offroad production model with a hybrid powertrain including a  four-cylinder 2.0 liter TFSI working together with two electric motors. Mazda MX-5 is the best-selling roadster in the world and it is time to get an all-new look. Still, the manufacturer didn’t reveal any information or pictures of the upcoming 2015 Mazda MX-5. Until then, here is a nice render picture of the next generation MX-5 created by Theophilus Chin.

2015 Mazda MX-5 will be smaller and lighter compared to the outgoing model. The weight reduction will be more than 100kg (220 lbs), which means a lot better acceleration, improved fuel economy and superb handling. The new model will also adopt a lower center of gravity making the roadster a lot safer and harder to roll-over.

The new MX-5 will get Mazda’s Kodo design language, so it will offer a very attractive styling as seen in recent products such as the 6 and 3, as well as the Hazumi Concept.

Other highlights include more powerful engines in the range and a more rigid body that will also make it safer in case of a collision. Sales of the all-new Mazda MX-5 are expected sometime in the beginning of the next year and the model will probably make official debut in the end of 2014.

  • Volkswagen Jetta CC [render]

TheophilusChinhas published two render pictures of Volkswagen Jetta CC based on the recently introduced the new midsize coupe – NMC Concept. The changes are not significant, but the Jetta CC definitely looks better.

NMC Concept was exhibited a few days ago at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show. The Jetta CC comes with different front bumper, rear diffuser and taillights, while the smaller wheels will be more suitable for production model. They will also improve the comfort. Although a Jetta CC is rumored, Volkswagen didn’t release any official information about this model. • Porsche Boxenne S [render image]

Here is a nice render image of Porsche Boxenne S, which is a mixture between the recently announced Macan crossover and Fiat 500. The hardcore fans of Porsche will curse it, but as the market demands these days, the Boxenne could be a real hit.

The render image is published by X-Tomi Design, who obviously has some very nice ideas. The small affordable Porsche Boxenne will never happen, but it will be surely appreciated. Still, we think that it will be better, if Porsche announce smaller model than Cayman. A direct rival of Lotus Elise and Alfa Romeo 4C will be very interesting.

If Porsche produces a smaller version of Macan, it could be fitted with some powerful engines. For example the Macan S is powered by a 3.0 litre V6 bi-turbo engine – 340HP (250 kW) and accelerates 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 5.2 seconds. A 7-speed double-clutch transmission transfers power to AWD system. The top speed is 255 km/h (158 mph), and its NEDC fuel consumption figures are between 31.4 and 32.5 mpg, which corresponds to CO2 emissions of between 212 and 204 g/km. All these figures will be drastically improved, if the weight is lowered as well as the improved aerodynamics.

Imagine what will do the Boxenne S with the same engine!
