    2020 Renault ZOEThe new Renault ZOE has been awarded the Best Supermini Award by TopGear magazine in its latest dedication Electric Awards issue. This most recent recognition marks the eighth win for the latest Renault all-electric vehicle despite only being available since the beginning of 2020.

    New ZOE follows Renault’s win as Best Manufacturer and still brings pride for its creates with the City Car of the Year in its annual TopGear.com awards, with the zero-emissions-in-use model praised for its range and advanced technologies.

    The award follows the prestigious wins from WhatCar?, Driving Electric and the Great British Fleet Awards, recognizing new ZOE’s all-round facets. Furthermore, this multiple award-winning electric mini is created with the intention in mind to adapt to a range of driving situations with ease and elegance, endure a long mile coverage with a single charge and adapt to driver’s own preferences.

    New ZOE features a class-leading 245-mile range and can be used for much more rather than running around the city with its powerful 52kWh battery pack. New ZOE is also available with 50kWh DC fast charging capability, meaning 90 miles or range can be added in mere 30 minutes, while the free and fully installed 7kWh home wallbox means customers benefit from easy and convenient charging at home with no additional cost.

    Additionally, new ZOE is super user-friendly with its revised and more comfortable interior which features a fully customizable 10-inch TFT instrumental cluster and Renault’s EASY LINK 9.3-inch portrait touchscreen infotainment system. There’s also a suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems that deliver added convenience and safety, while the premium interior components contribute to that futuristic and comfortable ambiance.

  • 2013 Renault ZOE – UK Price £13,650

    Renault has announced the pricing of the new 2013 ZOE, which was announced at the Geneva Motorshow in 2012. The starting price is just £13,650 OTR.

    2013 Renault ZOE is 100 % electric vehicle offering great range and versatility at low price. With an NEDC homologated range of 209 km (130 miles), ZOE is the first affordable car for everyday use to have been designed from the ground up as an electric vehicle.

    ZOE is available in three trim levels – Expression, Dynamique Zen and Dynamique Intens – and is packed with a raft of innovations for a new form of motoring.

    The sleek supermini is the first vehicle to be equipped with ‘Range OptimiZEr’ which combines three major innovations, bi-modal regenerative braking, a heat pump and MICHELIN EnergyTM E-V tyres.

    ZOE is the only electric vehicle to feature the Chameleon charger. Patented by Renault, this charger is compatible with all power levels from 3kW up to 43kW. Charging batteries at a charging station can take between 30 minutes and 9 hours, with 80 % of full battery power able to be achieved within 30 minutes using a Rapid Charger 43 kW AC power source.

    ZOE is also the first Renault to be presented with the new multimedia system, R-Link, as standard.

    The electric motor has 88HP (65 kW) and 220Nm (163 lb-ft) of torque. Acceleration and pull-away are responsive from low speeds, while its top speed is limited to 135 km/h (84 mph).

    Ordering for ZOE is already open, prior to arriving in showrooms on 7th June.

  • Emissions Free: 2013 Renault ZOE

    2013-Renault-ZOE-THUMB2013 Renault ZOE is the new supermini electric vehicle by the French brand which will be available at dealerships next year’s spring. ZOE is equipped with industry’s most advanced technology, including 60 patents designed to deliver user-friendliness, range and connectivity.

    This Renault electric vehicle is going to be available in three trim levels – Expression, Dynamique Zen and Dynamique Intens. In addition, the supermini is the first vehicle to be equipped with “Range OptimiZEr”, which combines three major innovations, namely: new-generation regenerative braking, a heat pump and MICHELIN EnergyTM E-V tyres.

    Thanks to this the driver will generally achieve around 60 miles in cold weather and 90 miles in temperate conditions. ZOE is the only electric vehicle which includes Chameleon charger. The latter is compatible with all power levels up to 43kW and it takes only 30 minutes to recharge the battery up to 80 percent.

    ZOE is also first brand’s vehicle to feature the new multimedia system Renault R-Link, which allows the drivers to control its functions without taking their eyes off the road. In details, the R-Link includes a large seven-inch display, steering wheel-mounted controls and voice recognition.

    More importantly, this electric supermini generates power equivalent to 65 kW (88hp) and instantly delivers maximum torque of 220 Nm (162 lb-ft). Here the top speed is limited to 84mph.

    Next, the gearshift-free acceleration vehicle in the Dynamique Zen trim recalls purity and wellbeing. Why? Because it is white, blue and chrome, with a light coloured interior ambiance. Furthermore, it is fitted with “Take Care by Renault” equipment as standard with active scent diffuser, ioniser and toxicity sensor together with Teflon seat protection.

    Signature headlights feature LEDs that permanently light up recesses situated either side of the front air intake. In general the vehicle includes Renault’s new design philosophy.

  • Renault ZOE – 100 miles only on electricity

    Renault Zoe is exhibited at the Paris Motor Show. It is a Clio-sized car, which show the brand new identity of Renault, including the new front-end signature. ZOE is created specially to test the electric power system, which features fully-integrated battery and compact motor.
