  • PEUGEOT has prepared for the Dakar challenge: here’s the new sand warrior!

    2016 PEUGEOT 3008 DKR Wehave expected this one: Team Peugeot Total and Red Bull have proudly revealed the fresh PEUGEOT 3008 DKR. Heir of one of the most successful machines from previous championships, this confident beast has a lot to demonstrate. So, let’s waste no more time and see what the key features are!

    First of all, the new Dakar warrior is based on a new PEUGEOT SUV vehicle, yet to be revealed and at the same time stays true to some of brand’s successful concept ideas. Racers will still be dealing with a two-wheel drive system and many more familiar stuff, but they will also meet some sweet changes and additions.

    Going directly to the drivetrain system, we first see a revised 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbodiesel power unit that is especially created to deliver greater torque levels at low revs. What might disappoint some of the fans and enthusiasts is that there is also a smaller restrictor in the engine that results on a loss of 20horse power (14kW). However, the engineering team decided to make this sacrifice in the name of more torque at low revs.

    Further tweaks have been made onto the suspension system. Definitely a key component for success in the Dakar challenge, the vehicle now offers the aid of exclusive fine-tuned system, revised geometry and some damper improvement. Sweet.

    And there is also one more important upgrade. The air conditioning. Maybe some of you think that this is a tool for the whining princess wanna-be girls, but you are wrong. When a crew spends up to 12 hours a day in a vehicle’s cabin in temperatures that easily excess 60 degrees, good air conditioning system is not a fad, but a must. And they got one. Exclusive, revised and improved. Cool.

    Before the great Dakar challenge, Carloz Sainz himself will test the new PEUGEOT 3008 DKR against other competitors during Morocco’s Rally in October (3rd to 7th October).

  • Have you ever heard of hypercars? Aston Martin and Red Bull Racing have already revealed one!

    2018 Aston Martin Red Bull Racing AM-RB 001 Aston Martin and Red Bull Racing revealed a stunning vehicle: a so-called hypercar, the AM-RB 001. The collaboration process between the British luxury brand and the F1 team combined the skills and passion of two world-leading manufacturers to deliver us a machine that we have not seen before.

    Geared with a lightweight carbon fiber structure, the AM-RB 001 demonstrates a sort of radical aerodynamic solutions, incredible levels of downforce and definitely a pure racing styling. We see some notable Aston Martin shapes and curves, but this is definitely a vehicle far more distinctive that anything the British manufacturer has presented so far.

    2018 Aston Martin Red Bull Racing AM-RB 001

    AM-RB 001 will be built by David King and his fellow teammates at Gaydon, in Aston Martin’s facility, where their original hypercar, the One-77 was built. We still don’t know much about machine’s performance, but what we know is that the engineers have brought us a vehicle with mid-mounted and high-revving V12 power unit with the capability of achieving a 1:1 power-to-engine-ratio and 1bhp per kilo of weight. Sounds good, right?

    Also, in order to cope with extreme aerodynamic loading at high speeds and to deliver the on-road flexibility and comfort at the same time, AM-RB 001’s suspension will come with some special technology and will adopt the principles honed by Newey over his 3-decade career. We expect something similar to be incorporated in the transmission.

    What is also expected from the alliance is that there will be between 99 and 150 road-legal units produced at total and only 25 track-only prototypes. First deliveries are scheduled for 2018.

  • 2015 CPOP Will Witness Doughie Lampkin Performing at the Event!

    Cholmondeley Pageant of Power (CPOP) 2015 will see Dougie Lampkin MBE, a bike legend, who won twelve world titles will show off some skills on 13th and 14tn of June.  Ahead of the debut, Red Bull UK’s athlete some more tricks at the Media City piazza in Manchester. As you might know, Dougie was joined by a wide range of extreme vehicles, that represent variable elements of this year’s CPOP from 80s vehicles to modern machines. And here is the full list:

    And something more. The event will witness the world’s only flying Vulcan, that will dominate the skies above Cholmondeley for its last Cheshire flight, while the Red Bull Matadors will entertain the crowd with special aerobatic performance.

    And for full and pleasurable experience, the organizers also included numerous artists, live music, trade stands and numerous more. The event surely becomes tastier and tastier!

  • Renault Megane RS 265 Red Bull RB8 Limited Edition

    Renault has announced Megane RS 265 Red Bull RB8 Limited Edition to celebrate team’s drivers’ and constructors’ triumph for the 4th consecutive season in Formula 1. The series will be produced in just 120 units and all of them will have an exclusive Dusk Blue paint scheme with platinum detailing.

    Packed with cutting edge technology, the only thing missing is wings. The striking hot hatch includes Recaro seats, R-Link Multimedia system and TomTom Live navigation system, Bridgestone Potenza RE050A tyres, plus the latest on-board Renaultsport Monitor v2.0 featuring a more user-friendly interface, GPS-tracked lap timing, 0-62 mph times, G-force diagram, power output data and other information.

  • Infiniti Red Bull Racing – RB9 Race Car

    Infiniti Red Bull Racing set the defence of its Formula One Drivers’ and Constructors’ Championship titles in motion today in Milton Keynes UK.

    The manufacturer has presented the RB9 race car. Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber will compete this season with the updated vehicle. During the presentation both drivers were joined on stage by team principal Christian Horner, chief technical officer Adrian Newey andcorporate vice president global marketing communications representing Infiniti, Simon Sproule.

    Despite the largely unchanged nature of the technical regulations for 2013, AdrianNewey explained that the off-season was far from relaxed.

    The continuity in Infiniti Red Bull Racing’s driver line-up for 2013 is much more straightforward. Sebastian is beginning his fifth year with the team, while this will be Mark’s seventh straight season with Infiniti Red Bull Racing, the longest-established teamdriver combination on the 2013 grid.

    The team departs for southern Spain this evening, with testing of the RB9 due to commence at the Jerez de la Frontera circuit on Tuesday. Mark Webber will give the car its track debut, driving on Tues 5 and Wed 6 February, with Sebastian taking over for the final two days, on 7th and 8th February.

  • Red Bull Skoda Team

    The Red Bull Skoda team will make its official debut at the Mexico Rally, next weekend (5-6th March). This is the first round of the 2011 S-WRC series.

    Juho Hanninen and Mikko Markkula, will be driving a Skoda Fabia S2000.

    The Mexico Rally is one of the most interesting courses of the entire S-WRC series. It features gravel event around Leon with high altitudes and at high temperatures. (more…)
