Lexus team presents new sporty and sexy RC F Coupe machine!

2019 Lexus RC F Coupe After proving itself worthy, Lexus team has decided to take the challenge to the next level and create a new performance-focused RC F Track Edition model. After numerous winning sessions, RC F has managed to inspire its own creators in order to achieve more.

Already on sale, the 2019 RC F Coupe benefits from numerous changes and tweaks. Of course, the most notable are within the drivetrain system, but there are also changes made on within the cabin and utility features.

In order to gain more refined feel, the engineering team has added arms and steering rack mounts to the suspension system, all along with more rigid engine mounts. The powerful engine is a 5.0-liter V8 beast that delivers a total of 457hp and 520Nm of torque. It is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission that features high final drive ratio (3.13 vs 2.93), which contributes to a more off-the-line response.

In order to ensure sharp acceleration from a standing start, the new electronic launch control has made its debut with this model. It automatically adjusts the traction and throttle control for maximum take-off performance. The only thing the driver needs to press is the brake pedal and then to engage the system by pressing a single button on the central console.

RC F also gains new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires, exclusively designed for this particular coupe. These feature an unique profile and tread pattern, which helps to reduce understeer, improve lateral grip and increase durability in extreme driving conditions.

In terms of styling changes, there are tons of changes and additions. There’s a new headlight design with stacked arrangement of LEDs with integrated daytime running lights, signature spindle grille and lower lip opening, which spans the base of the grille, creating the effect of a shorter front fascia. At the rear-end, there’s a new tail light set, revised bumper design and overall cleaner and more straightforward design.

Reflecting lineup’s motorsport success, the new RC F Track Edition is also equipped with tons of advanced parts in order to improve aerodynamics and performance rates. Such include numerous carbon-fiber components as front lip spoiler, the fixed carbon fiber rear wing, a Brembo braking system and sweet 19-inch BBS forged wheels.

Nissan reveals details for 2019 Murano lineup

2019 Nissan Murano is named “The best 2-Row SUV for the Money” by US News & World Report for the fourth time in five years.

For its third generation, Murano receives a comprehensive upgrade pack that features a more pronounced V-motion grille, restyled LED headlights and taillights, new LED fog lights, 18-inch and 20-inch aluminum-alloy wheel design and three additional body colors – Sunset Drift Chromaflair, Mocha Almond Pearl and Deep Blue Pearl.

Additional upgrades include semi-aniline leather-appointed seats with diamond-quilted inserts and contrasting micro-piping trim for the seats, door armrests and central console lid for the Platinum grade. Other changes include three new interior trim finishes: Dark Wood-Tone, Light Wood-Tone and Metallic.

Furthermore, all 2019 Murano machines come with Nissan’s exclusive Rear Door Alert system and Intelligent Driver Alertness. These two gadgets learn each driver’s steering patters and aid them if a drowsy driving is detected. This system includes Intelligent Around View Monitor. Safety systems have also been revised for 2019 model year with the arriving of Nissan Safety Shield 360 – a suite of six advanced active safety- and driver-assist technologies, especially created to provide enhanced levels of safety and comfort. Lexus RC F is the Newest NSW Police Vehicle

Lexus RC F NSW Police Coupe Front View Lexus RC F will join the Police Force as it was added to the NSW Police fleet of vehicles. The V8 high-performance coupe will be utilized as a multi-purpose vehicle for the aforementioned police, thus playing an active role in roadside campaigns by promoting safety, and at the same time it will feature static display at community engagement activities such as the MS Sydney and the Gong bike ride.

The car will be also featured as a race control vehicle in motorsport events such as the Bathurst Six Hour during Easter. There it will open and close the circuit before and after the races. The RC F coupe will be mainly seen (and used) in the Southern Region, assisting the officers with their important tasks.

Well, starting with the common features, the police vehicle will be powered by the same engine driving the production RC F: the V8 unit, which produces 477 hp (351 kW) and 530 Nm (391 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to an eight-speed Sports Program Direct Shift transmission, which drives the rear wheels. There’s also an adjustable torque vectoring differential, which distributes the torque to each wheel.

And here are the details that differentiate it from other RC F coupes. NSW RC F Coupe will have more focused handling thanks to a stiff chassis and racetrack developed suspension, which features ZF Sachs monotube shock absorbers. The stopping power is ensured by Brembo brake package.

Furthermore, the high performance mechanical package comprises of an aggressive as well as aerodynamic styling kit, while the interior is cockpit-like and includes competition-inspired high back sports seats, steering wheel, pedals and instrument meters.

Was Lexus the Star at This Year’s SEMA Show?

Although this year’s SEMA show witnessed numerous incredible vehicle projects and concepts, Lexus’ current model range made a great impact on the whole event. And this time Lexus included the RC F GT3 race car that will compete next year in USA, along with GS F, RC F, IS and RC 200t models.

And the GS F model was demonstrated with the special Gloss Burnt Orange Wrap and geared with a Tein suspension system and special damper kit. The special body color, along with the Advanced Racing GT gloss black wheels and the fitted Falken Azenis FK 453 tires really contribute to this vehicle’s unique presence. The improved vehicle also includes a special dual system exhaust, Brembo brakes and Sumero custom carbon fiber aero kit.

And along with this beauty, the team paid attention and to the RC F model. The vehicle was demonstrated with Ultra Matte gunmetal blue 20-inch wheels and emphasized style with the Widebody GT Kit Pandem aero pack. The car also comes with KW suspension and FIA-approved Sparco race seats.

The IS 200t was also on display at SEMA and proudly demonstrated a Seibon Carbon aero kit and stylish Voseen 20-inch gold wheels with ultra-low profile Nitto Invo tyres.

SEMA audience also witnessed the restyled RC 200t by Guy S. DeAwis and 360 Motorworks. The body is covered with 3M Gloss Cosmic Blue, matched with stance brushed titanium-finished 20-inch wheels and especially lowered springs. The vehicle also is geared with AIMGAIN aero body kit and Tenabe Medalion Touring exhaust.

Lexus Announcing new F-High-Performance Model. Could it be a GS F?

Lexus just teased with couple of images its addition to the F-high-performance range. This is the second vehicle that will be added to company’s growing stable of F cars. Earlier this year the luxury automaker unveiled the brand new RC F and announced that it will debut at 2015 Auto Show in Detroit. This is where we will also see the reveal of a new F model. In particular, it is scheduled for 13th of January, so don’t expect it earlier.

RC F is expected to be launched in February next year. It is powered by a 5.0-litre, 32-valve V8 engine. This unit was specifically created for the car. It is linked to a calibrated eight-speed Sports Direct Shift transmission thanks to which it can help the sports vehicle achieve an impressive 450 hp (330 kW) and 520 Nm (384 lb-ft).

Besides this information and the two photos, the Japanese brand did not disclose anything else. We are wondering whether this is a more extreme version of the RC F or a brand new one. Rumors suggest that the car is likely to be based on the GS line-up.

Judged by the pictures, the highly-probable GS F features new headlights and boomerang-shaped DRLs. There is also a more masculine front bumper and multi-spoke lightweight alloy wheels finished in black. Underneath them we see oversized brakes. We also see that Lexus added carbon-fiber bits.

Lexus RC F: Dynamic Beauty

No one can deny that the styling of the new Lexus RC F coupe exhibits particular sophistication and determination in every curve. Being good on the outside is one thing, but being equally good on the inside and under the bonnet is totally different. The combination of such characteristics results in an ultimate quality which signifies efficiency and remarkable dynamic potentials. All of this is well demonstrated by the RC F.

Inspired and developed from the exclusive LF-LC and LF-CC concepts which Lexus revealed in 2013, the RC F conveys a distinguishable appearance which is confident enough to stand out in the crowd. The compelling coupe has a front end that is enhanced by a new spindle grille. This time around, it has a double-spindle effect with a graduated F-motif mesh grille which helps ventilate the 5.0-litre engine.

Stability when driving at high speed is further complemented by the slick flow of vented air over the top and sides of the Lexus and by the aero-stabilizing fins integrated in the door frame moulding.

Finally, the RC F Carbon incudes a bonnet, roof and rear wing fabricated in lightweight Carbon Fibre Reinforced Plastic, reducing the coupe’s overall weight by approximately 10kg.

Lexus RC F is available to order now with a starting price of £59,995. UK customer deliveries are going to start in February.

Updated 2015 Lexus RC F Delivers Performance For All

2015 Lexus RC F made its global premiere at NAIAS event in the beginning of the year. Now the coupe is ready for launch before the end of the year in the United Kingdom with customer deliveries from January 2015. This is the most powerful production V8 coupe the company has ever produced. The car features contemporary styling combined with thoroughbred performance, handling and advanced new technologies. In the UK this Lexus will be launched in two versions RC F and the RC F Carbon.

If you have ever wondered what’s the meaning of the “F” designation in car’s name, well it denotes Fuji Speedway, the Japanese track where Lexus carries out much of its high-speed product testing. The key ingredient for this performance is the 5.0-litre V8 engine. It produces 471 hp (346 kW) and 530 Nm (390 lb-ft) of torque.

The unit is coupled with a significantly upgraded eight-speed Sports Direct Shift transmission that gives the driver a choice of five operating modes, from fuel-efficient Eco to full-blooded Sport S+. 2015 RC F covers the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in 4.5 seconds and can reach a top speed of 168 mph.

The RC F also received a revision in terms of Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management system due to the addition of the new Sport and Expert settings. They allow the driver safely exploit the car’s full performance capabilities.

In addition, the coupe has been engineered to offer exceptional grip, agility and high-speed stability with chassis, brakes, steering and suspension. Precisely, the handling features active rear wing and Torque Vectoring Differential.

Many of the body elements are made of carbon fiber for improved lightweight. We should also note the clever instrumentation that automatically changes display with different driving modes and a stirring engine note, project into the cabin through an Active Sound Control system.

Custom Lexus NX 200t F SPORT also Starring at SEMA

More news from Lexus! The ban is obviously making a furore at SEMA show, because it has just released additional information on two other models that are currently under the spotlight at the event. We are speaking about the NX 200t F SPORT made by 360 Elite Motorworks and the Instabuilt RC F by VIP Auto Salon. The NX model of choice is of course the 200t Sport, which is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine.

In addition, the car features unique tweaks such as the Artisan Spirits aerodynamic kit. It includes front lip, front bumper LED attachment, rocker panels, rear diffuser and trunk spoiler. As you can see, the paint isn’t the production one. In the case of this NX, the Foreign Auto Body studio has created a specific paint scheme called Molten Pearl.

21 inch HRE P104 forged monoblok wheels in gloss black fitted with Toyo Proxes T1R Sport tires as well as the new front and rear fender flares is what rounds-out this exclusive SEMA-built project.

Next, the Instabuilt RC F by VIP Auto Salon adds Lexon Exclusive Japan kit, which comprises of a front and lip spoiler, and side Steps. Lexus Updates 2015 RC F With Even More Powerful Engine [VIDEO]

2015 Lexus RC F which debuted at 2014 NAIAS event is the most powerful production V8 coupe the company has ever produced … until now. Lexus has just revealed that the RC F is getting an engine update that will endow it with even more horsepower. The new coupe will develop 477 horsepower (351 kW) from its naturally aspirated 5.0-litre V8 engine. Compared to the version introduced in the beginning of the year, this one is getting 27 hp (21 kW) additional strength.

Furthermore, the new engine will develop nearly 13 per cent more power than the IS F engine on which it is based. And these simple facts are making the new RC F driven by the most powerful Lexus V8 engine in the company’s history.

The 5.0-litre, 32-valve engine features new cylinder heads and lighter moving parts. These additions contribute towards an increase of the maximum power by 40kW, and maximum revolutions increased from 6600 to 7300rpm.

The updated RC F will be also fitted with an intelligent engine management system, which will allows the drivetrain to switch between Atkinson and Otto cycle. The result will be conserved fuel while coasting or delivering maximum power when required. 2015 Lexus RC F V8 is scheduled for launch during the first quarter of 2015.

2015 Lexus RC F made its global debut at this years NAIAS event in the beginning of the year. Now the coupe is ready for launch before the end of the year in the United Kingdom. This is the most powerful production V8 coupe the company has ever produced. The car features contemporary styling combined with thoroughbred performance, handling and advanced new technologies. In the UK this Lexus will be launched in two versions RC F and the RC F Carbon.

Both of course will be powered by the 5.0-litre, 32-valve V8. This engine was specifically developed for the RC F and matched to calibrated eight-speed Sports Direct Shift transmission. The results it achieves are impressive, namely – 450 hp (330 kW) and 520 Nm (384 lb-ft).

When one looks from the sides the RC F, the first thing to grab the attention is the 19-inch forged alloy wheels with Brembo brakes behind them. There are also Sachs monotube shock absorbers and an active rear wing, Lexus’s Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management (VDIM) system.

RC F Carbon benefits from additional features such as torque-vectoring differential and carbon fibre-reinforced plastic (CFRP) roof, bonnet and rear spoiler. It gives the driver the choice of with three operating modes with which he or she ca operate traction and vehicle control in different scenarios. The use of CFRP contributes significantly for reduction of weight. This material has been originally developed by Lexus for its LFA supercar.

Furthermore, the RC F also takes advantage from the comprehensive array of comfort, safety and advanced technology features. The coupe comes equipped with high and low beam LED headlights with automatic high beam function, a 10-speaker multimedia system including DAB, DVD player, a new Remote Touch touchpad control and Lexus Premium Navigation, dual-zone climate control and Drive Mode Select.

In terms of safety, the brand has provided eight airbags, a reversing camera, Hill Assist Control, Lane Departure and Rear Cross Traffic Alert, a blind spot monitor and VDIM, ABS, brake assist, traction control and electronic brakeforce distribution. Other features include front and rear parking sensors, electric, auto-dimming, folding and heated door mirrors; cruise control, an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, electric steering column adjustment and keyless Smart Entry.

Inside, the luxurious feel of the RC F is strengthened by the high-grade leather upholstery and electrically adjustable front seats with heating and ventilation functions. Throughout the interior there are Lexus ‘F’-themed details. As available features, Lexus is offering Adaptive Cruise Control with a Pre-Crash Safety system and a Mark Levinson Surround Sound system.

RC F Carbon also runs on 19-inch forged alloy wheels; however inside it features Alcantara upholstery. The Mark Levinson Surround Sound system here is included as standard. The ACC/PCS combination is optional.

Order books for 2015 Lexus RC F and RC F Carbon are open now. The first cars are expected to arrive to customers in late January.

2015 Lexus RC F Adds “Solar Flare” Paint Finish Chosen By Fans

Last month Lexus has challenged its Facebook fans to come up with a name for the blazing orange paint finish which will be available for the 2015 RC F high performance coupe. There were hundreds of suggestions from which the best one was picked and it is called “Solar Flare”. The choice was made by company’s director, Richard Balshaw. “Solar Flare” will become an official color for the RC F in the UK and will be offered exclusively when it goes on sale at the end of the year.

RC F was officially revealed at the Detroit motor show in January. The coupe matches its visual impact with great performance. It is powered by the most powerful V8 engine Lexus has engineered for a production model and which in addition was specifically developed for the RC F. The 5.0-litre 32-valve unit produces more than 450 hp (330 kW) and 520 Nm (384 lb-ft) of torque.

Furthermore, the powertrain is coupled with an eight speed direct-shift transmission. The unit has been engineered to switch between different operating cycles in order to secure optimum efficiency and performance in driving. RC F is built from lightweight carbon fibre parts, and has an active rear wing and a torque vectoring differential. They all part of the RC F’s advanced engineering package.

Lexus Confirms RC 350 And RC F For Australia

Lexus is currently introducing RC 350 coupe and the fire-breathing RC F performance coupe for the Australian market. Both vehicles are due for launch by the end of this year of in early 2015. They have been purpose-built in order to deliver excellent design and perfect driving dynamics. For Australia, the RC 350 will be equipped with an all-alloy direct and port-injected 3.5-litre V6 engine, which produces 318 horsepower (234 kW) and a peak torque of 380 Nm (280 lb-ft). The unit is coupled with an eight-speed sequential transmission. RC 350 will put all this power to the ground via the rear wheels.

On the other hand, the RC F will be powered by the naturally aspirated five-litre V8 powerplant. It develops 450 horsepower (330 kW) and 520Nm (384 lb-ft) of torque. It can also switch between Atkinson and Otto cycles for better fuel economy.

The engine is managed by a specifically tuned eight-speed Sports Direct Shift (SPDS) transmission. It enhances the linear response to accelerator-pedal operation, letting the driver better feel the torque and power as it is applied.

In addition, the RC F features a host of unique engineering and design elements which ensures its powerful performance. The race-bred development of the model includes a chassis, suspension, aerodynamic measures, wheel and tyre package along with a host of other engineering changes.
