The Porsche 911 Turbo in this unique edition, whose lines cannot be mistaken for anything else in the world. A collectable and a real treat for the lovers of sheer beauty and luxury.

The characteristic feature of all Racing Green conversions is emerald green 100% hand-brushed paint. The subtle and glittering pattern under the coat of paint, carefully mastered by Carlex Design experts, has given the Porsche 911 Turbo a unique touch. The Porsche 911 Turbo in this special version is a real piece of art with an extraordinary character and a totally lavish look. The Carlex Design bespoke forged three-piece rims, painted to match the car’s exterior, as well as copper-hued brake callipers, perfectly mark the car’s outstanding interior.

This is what makes the work on special editions absolutely fascinating.

The new interior of the Racing Green Edition is all about top quality aged leather that is classic, light chocolate brown, and perfectly corresponds with bottle green hued leather inserts, matching the Racing Green car body. The seat chord seams give it a rough and artisanal look, and the perforation has increased the comfort and aesthetic qualities. A stylish holdall and a backpack perfectly match this unique special edition.

2021 Porsche 910 TURBOThe World Car Awards recognizes the new Porsche 911 TURBO as the 2021 World Performance Cars winner with the vote of all the 93 dedicated journalists and experts, all part of the demanding jury at the event.

This also marks the seventh World Performance Car win for Porsche in World Car Award’s 17-year history.

The 911 Turbo was chosen from an initial entry list of nine other contestants from all over the world and the World Car Awards jury managed to narrow down the competing vehicles to only 3 – Audi RS Q8, the Porsche 911 Turbo and the Toyota GR Yaris. However, the 911 Turbo managed to show the performance and refinement needed to become the winner at the event.

  • Germany’s Wagenbauanstalt studio presents a new tuning project! Check it out!

2018 Wagenbauanstalt Porsche 911 TurboThere are numerous tuning studios in Germany, but today we will be talking about a particular one – Wagenbauanstalt. Although it is not that popular and known, the crew can show off with numerous tuning projects that catch the eye with both styling customization and advanced engineering solutions.

One of Wagenbauantsalt highlights is a refined Porsche 911 Turbo from 1993. What the team did is to remove wheel arches, doors, fenders, side panels and rear wing and replace them with exclusive hand-made substitutes. Furthermore, the rims are also custom-made from Wheel-Tex 24. However, the most fascinating feature in the whole project is the fact that Wagenbauanstalt has managed to maintain this pure and authentic retro Porsche expression and just to build up from this glorious foundation.

In fact, the retro styling was obtained from Kaege program – by installing Candy-Fade-Away coat coverage, hand-polished cup style rollover cage, 1940s Lincoln door openers/handles and hand-polished decorations in Candy gold.

  • Porsche and the Fairytale for 2017 911 Turbo Models

2017 Porsche 911 Turbo Porsche will make a powerful start in 2016 when the 2017 911 Turbo and 911 Turbo S models will be unveiled at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit in January. The vehicles will be offered in coupe and convertible body style and will feature sharper and more aggressive design, enhanced driving capabilities and extended list of standard equipment. The 911 Turbo will be geared with a 3.8-liter twin-turbo six-cylinder power unit that produces a total of 540hp (397kW), whereas 911 Turbo S will produce 580hp (426kW) and will further benefit from turbochargers with larger impelle. The meaning of all these numbers is that they contribute to incredible 0 to 100km/h (62mph) acceleration: 911 Turbo S finishes the sprint in 2.8 seconds and has a top speed of 369km/h (205mph), while 911 Turbo offers  2.9 seconds and top speed of 356km/h (198mph).

In fact, the engines also offer a dynamic boost function that improves throttle response during more aggressive driving. What it does is to maintain the boost pressure during load changes which results on better engine responds and enhanced engine flexibility.

    Bold and sharp design

    2017 Porsche 911 Turbo

The new generation of 911 Turbo models come with restyled front air blades and narrow LED front lights with double fillets. There are new door handles without recess covers, while the rear fascia has also received some attention: it proudly demonstrates three-dimensional lights with four-point brake lights and aura-like illumination. The models also feature dual tailpipes and exhaust tips. And the sporty, yet beautiful exterior affair is finished with stylish 20-inch wheels with seven double spokes.

Another cool feature is the Sport Response button. When it is pressed, it preconditions the engine and gearbox and offers some boosted performance for up to 20 seconds.

And as we talk about performance, we must mention the PASM feature that delivers even better balance between performance and comfort. Furthermore, 911 Turbo S offers a full array of performance gadgets like the active roll stabilization program and Porsche Composite Ceramic Brake. The vehicles will also benefit from Park Assist front and rear cameras, LED headlights, 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats Plus, two-tone leather interior and carbon-fiber elements.

  • Porsche Exclusive’s “Aerokit Turbo” is what every 911 Turbo Needs

New Aerokit from Porsche Exclusive is now here for all 911 Turbo and Turbo S models. The performance package will add to the exclusiveness of the car and gives it more character and sportiness to its traditional silhouette. Precisely, it includes new front spoiler with side fins as well as an entirely redesigned rear deck lid. The latter has a fixed rear spoiler with side winglets while maintaining the automatically adjusting rear wing.

But the attractive look wasn’t priority number one for the designers. In fact, the aerodynamic function was a top goal during development of the Aerokit. There were extensive tests conducted in the wind tunnel as well as many test drives on the test circuit at the Porsche Development Center in Germany.

The end goal was to enhance the driving dynamics by further improving the downforce. At the same time, Porsche preserved the same coefficient of drag as the standard equipment. The result is a proper integration of the flow-optimized Aerokit into the harmoniously balanced overall concept.

To make an example, the aerodynamic components of the “Aerokit Turbo” create even more downforce at the front and rear axles. This in turn increases driving stability at high speeds. The total downforce generated by the 911 Turbo adaptive aerodynamics at 186 mph on the track was increased to 57 lbs in the Speed setting, and to 331 lbs in the Performance setting.

There are two versions of the “Aerokit Turbo”. The first one is in car’s body color, while the second one is in high-gloss black. Next to the goodies coming from the kit, there are also side skirts and rear fascia painted in the body color. In the black version only, the air intake cover on the rear lid is painted black.

Porsche Exclusive’s “Aerokit Turbo” is currently on sale with a starting price of $6,950 USD.

  • PP-Performance Tunes Porsche 911 Turbo to the World Record [VIDEO]

PP-Performance released a video showing how a tweaked Porsche 911 Turbo is making a world record. The car covers the ¼ mile for 9.8s! The tuning company has put some more oomph into the probably most known Zuffenhausen sports car forge family member. After the engine intervention the serial horsepower numbers have been significantly raised. Precisely, the Porsche 911 Turbo produces 520 hp (382 kW) and maximum torque of 660 Nm (487 lb-ft) without the tuning.

The “surgical intervention” (as the professionals call it) into the engine techniques include PP-Performance Digital Racing Box, IPD intake plenum, 3-to-1 headers, downpipes, x-pipe and BMC high performance air filters. The result: the 911 Turbo model is capable of producing 670 horsepower (493 kW) and 820 Nm (605 lb-ft) of optimum torque.

But more importantly, this power boost gave the opportunity for the team to reach impressive acceleration values. In details, the car can now cover the 0-60 mph sprint within 2.5 seconds instead of the serial 3.4 seconds. This literally means that the 911 Turbo’s acceleration time equals with Bugatti Veyron 16.4.

In addition, the car also made a speed world record, which you can view below. Instead of 11.1 seconds of the serial version, the 120 mph limit is reached by PP-911 within 8.2 seconds. In addition, the 9.8 seconds world record in the corresponding class for the ¼ mile on dragstrip is also no wonder! See for yourself:

  • Can Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet be More Exclusive? VILNER Answers with new Project!

Porsche 911 is a synonym that stands for the ultimate sports car. The engineers of the brand from Stuttgart have polished this 911 diamond into even more glamorous and exclusive “creature”. However, the specialists at the Bulgarian studio Vilner, know that one can always do and expect more. And they have proven it once again with their latest project on 911 (997) Turbo Convertible, thus showing that there can be more exclusivity to a 911Turbo Cabrio.

Despite the expectations of a total transformation, the car hasn’t received any exterior enhancements. And we think it does not need them, because the interior is so abundant and splendid.

The red-black design theme of the original interior has also been preserved, but it now has received a brand new stance thanks to the combination of red nappa leather and black Alcantara used for the seats. Their headrests are embossed with Porsche’s emblem.

Vilner managed to imbue some extra exclusivity with several attractive design solutions.

First, the steering wheel received new ergonomic shape. Then it also got rich amount of handmade carbon fiber. The same material was used for a substitution of the plastic parts of the seat belts sockets. The gearshift lever also received a carbon therapy, just like the decorative elements around it and the door handles.

Unexpected but very exciting is the fact that Vilner has improved the 6-cylinder turbo boxer engine. They did this with the help of the German specialists at RaceChip. The result is 17% more horsepower.  In numbers, this means 561 hp (413 kW) or in other words – additional 81 hp to the serial 480 hp (353 kW).
