Looking far more aggressive and assertive than before, Volkswagen Passat B8 receives some enhancements from ABT. The tuning package for the new generation VW combines elegance style and excellent performance which design a car that is really attractive. Performance-wise, the tuners from Bavaria could be said to add a lot. The ABT latest engine technology is represented by a 2.0 TDI engine which offers utmost power, reliability and balance. The power unit boosts the initial power of 240 HP (176 kW) to 280 HP (206 kW).

The sporty flavor of the ABT Volkswagen Passat B8 can be sensed not only under the hood but on the outside as well. Thus, the wagon takes advantage of an aerodynamic body kit which features a front lip spoiler, improved side skirts and revised rear spoiler. The latter can be ordered for both the limo and the estate models in different variants.

Lastly, the last components which add an underlining finishing touch to the style of the Volkswagen Passat B8 are the ABT-branded floor mats and 20- or 21-inch alloy wheels fitted with sports tyres in 245/35 ZR20 or 255/30 ZR20 dimensions.

The Boring Volkswagen Passat B8 Receives Refreshing Ox18 Concave Alloys

Soon after the dealer premiere of the new Volkswagen Passat B8, Streetec presented their air-ride system for this mid-sized model. The air suspension specialists manage to give the car optimized handling and more ride-advantages.

With the selection of Oxigin Ox18 Concave alloys, Streetec succeeded in inserting a fresh tone into the sturdy but rather boring character of the 2015 Passat B8. And thanks God we have them otherwise looking at the car would be the same as staring at the wall – boring and a waste of time! These 9.0J x 20-inch concave designed one-piece wheels in contrasting Black Full Polish style are wrapped in 245/30ZR20 Pirelli P Zero tires. Such combination could be said to be the only feel of exclusiveness that springs out from the Passat B8.

To make things even more interesting for the 2015 Volkswagen Passat B8, there are several alternative finishes for the Ox18 Concave: Black, Black Full Polish Matt, Graphite Polish, Bright Chrome and Dark Chrome as well as eight Polished Colour options and individual Bicolour finishes.

Lastly, five neon colours are available along with a range of other finishes crafted out in foil wrap. Sizes is varied – from 7.5J x 17 to 11.5J x 22-inches.

B&B Improves the New VW Passat B8

With the introduction of its all-new Passat B8, Volkswagen managed to impress some people with the car’s 2.0-liter biturbo diesel engine. It came with a new seven-speed DSG gearbox and 4Motion all-wheel drive. Still if you are among the ones who were more like “meeeh” when they found out the specs, there is another chance now to be wowed. At least a little bit.

The Siegen-based tuning specialist B&B optimized the performance of the 2015 Volkswagen Passat B8 by increasing the power output from 240 HP to 300 HP. There is not only an increase of horses but of Newton meters as well. As a result, they have grown from 500 Nm to the screaming 630 Nm of peak torque. The 0 to 60 mph (to 100 km/h)run is covered in 5.5 seconds, accompanied by a Vmax increase to 250 km/h. To compare these numbers before the tuning, the standard model was able to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (100 km/h) in 6.3 seconds. See the difference?

Now, because there are always-complaining individuals who might find the 300 HP too much and the 240 HP not enough, B&B has taken care of this too. The tuner offers another power package which is not as comprehensive as the first one that costs 3,950-euro. The second engine programme is priced 1,298 euros and produces a total output of 275 HP and 570 Nm of torque.

Other extras for the Passat B8 distributed by B&B include: fully-adjustable coil-over suspension kit (1.498 euro), which comes with both comfort or sport settings and exclusive B&B 19-inch or 20-inch alloy wheels.
