  • Noelle Motors team showcases a massive upgrade for BMW M5

2018 Noelle Motors BMW M5The current generation of M5 vehicles is considered to be one of the pinnacle engineering solutions that BMW delivers to its customers. In fact, the latest unit generates a total of 600hp via its twin-turbo V8 power unit. However, there are still people who do not satisfy themselves with the stock packaging. Such are the good gentlemen at noelle motors that specialize in upgrading BMW vehicles.

And now the prestigious tuning studio demonstrates its extensive tuning program for 540i and M550i models. There was done remapping with a special Vmax delimiter that was done in two stages. In the first stage, the power output was risen from 340 to 380hp and the overall torque to 530 from 450Nm. In Stage II there was added control device to the six-cylinder gasoline unit that has further boosted the power to a total of 410hp and 580Nm. All these modifications result on sprinting from 0 to 100km/h in mere 4.4 seconds.

Furthermore, there is a Stage III in which the mapping optimization is mixed with two control devices, two air filter housing and new downpipes. This further boosts the output to the massive 629hp and 820Nm of torque. All this reduces the 0 to 100km/h run to 3.6 seconds. Furthermore, the top speed varies between 310 and 330km/h, depending on whether the upgrade process has been staged. And finally noelle motors have revised the speedometer to go up to 330km/h. Sweet!

The iconic BMW 750i receives a three staged power uprating program

This project will excite many BMW enthusiasts, because it adds more power within the means of three upgrade stages. The conversion has been developed for the BMW 750i G11, and those looking for an uprating might consider this one. So, here are the details.

If you are very strongly linked with your love for BMW, then you should probably know the tuning company called noelle motors, which is responsible for the current project here. An interesting fact is that it’s founder Karl-Otto Noelle was the former head of engine development at Alpina in the 80s. He’s main passion and duty was to extract massive amount of power from engines.

The legendary BMW 750i is currently equipped with the V8 unit, which due to the addition of a pair of turbochargers, direct injection and Valvetronic, pumps out 450 hp and 650 Nm of torque.  In other words, the engineers at noelle motors has the best possible toy to play with. They have thus developed a three staged program for the bi-turbo V8 N63B44 motor.

Stage 1 is just software optimization, which takes the output to 590 hp and 760 Nm of torque. Given that these numbers have been raised, this means that the benchmark 0-100 km/h sprint should be shortened: it is now 4.0 seconds, compared to the standard 4.7 seconds.

The Stage 2 conversion adds over the first one a free-flow exhaust downpipe with the appropriate ECU remapping. The result is 609 hp and 790 Nm of torque and even a shorter 0-100 km/h sprint time: 3.8 seconds.

At the top of this project is the Stage 3 modification, which unleashes V8’s unlimited potential. It adds modifications to the turbochargers, larger downpipe and tailored ECU remapping, thus helping the BMW 750i produce 629 hp and 820 Nm of torque. If you wonder about the 0-100 km/h time, it is just 3.6 seconds, giving noelle motors’ BMW 750i a place in the super sports car league.

That’s kind of great, isn’t it?

  • Noelle Motors Granted BMW Alpina Bi-Turbo With Some Special Attention

2015 Noelle Motors BMW Bi-TurboDownsizing, one of the most important feature and keyword when it comes to engine construction has been Karl-Otto Noelle’s passion for decades. Back in 1980s the started to improve the way of achieving maximum performance on small engine sizes with simultaneous turbo-charging. In later years, in the early 90s, he makes a noticeable achievement: Noelle is already the Alpina engine boss, thanks to the double forced ventilation, 360hp (264kW) and 520 Nm produced from the Alpina B10 Biturbo’s 3.4-liter unit, geared in BMW 5 series. So, let’s see what made this man special and what made this machine special.

Noelle motor points out that the basis of the BMW 650i Gran Coupe xDrive is still with untapped power potential and still sumbers in the current engine generations. And now, after installing the performance-oriented Stage 4 kits that offer modified turbochargers, downpipes with 400cell-sport catalysts, sporty mufflerswith valve control and a map advancement that includes cdeactivation of electronic Vmax governor, the 4.4-liter biturbo V8 will now confidently produce a total of 622hp (457kW) and 773 Nm of torque. This means that the coupe benefits from additional 172hp and 123 Nm. All the upgrades and additions contribute to the 3,7 second 0-100km/h (62mph) sprint and that smooth, yet responsive driving experience.
