2020 Nissan 370Z 50th Anniversary EditionNew 2020 Nissan 370Z 50th Anniversary Edition made its debut in New York a week before the annual International Auto Show held in the city. With tons of surprises and dramatic changes, the new family member celebrates half a century as it is expected – with confidence and pride.

The exclusive edition will be available in four trim levels – Base, Sport, Sport Touring and 370Z NISMO. Let’s check out more, shall we?

    Exterior styling

    2020 Nissan 370Z 50th Anniversary Edition

What defines the special edition is the original BRE race car design. Or at least, it is a mimic that perfectly fits the requirements of the contemporary age with these timeless lines and shapes. Key design cues include two signature stripes on the side of the vehicle and the painted trunk, hood, side mirrors and A-pillars on the accent door.

Furthermore, the Anniversary Edition retains the sleek profile of the classic vehicles in the lineup and features low roofline, upswept quarter-window design and slope of the rear hatch. There are these neat boomerang shape headlights and redesigned LED daytime running lamps, blended with a distinct front bumper.

At the rear, the integration of the boomerang taillights, rear spoiler and flared fenders define the rear-end and give it a sporty and muscular expression.

    Interior design

    2020 Nissan 370Z 50th Anniversary Edition

The inside is entirely driver-focused and includes a full-length center console, a special “50th Anniversary” steering wheel, Alcantara-wrapped seats and numerous dark chrome accents. Every single piece of technology is elegant and handy. Last, but not least, the exclusive Bose audio system, the noise cancellation system and the overall sporty ambience complete the entire interior design concept.

    Drivetrain system

    2020 Nissan 370Z 50th Anniversary Edition

Nissan engineers have included the trustworthy 3.7-liter V6 power unit that produces a total of 332hp and 270lb-ft of torque. What is special for this system is the innovative VVEL gadget that optimizes the intake valve, allowing air to be sent to the combustion chamber at the precise time it is needed.

The 50th Anniversary Edition model also comes with a close-ratio 6-speed manual gearbox with synchronized downshift rev-matching system called SynchoRev Match. What it does, is to automatically control and adjust the engine speed when shifting to the exact speed of the next gear position, essentially giving this smooth and progressive acceleration and smooth up/down shifts.

In fact, the 2020 370Z can be specified with an exclusive 7-speed automatic gearbox with Downshift Rev Matching, paddle shifters and adaptive shift control. Furthermore, the vehicle features a double-wishbone front suspension with lightweight forged aluminum arms, a lightweight aluminum-alloy cradle and a hollow construction stabilizer bar.

The 332 horsepower output is generated by this very same 3.7-liter DOHC V6 engine, one more time available with Variable Valve Event and Lift Control. What is different is the gearbox equipment. • Senner Bling the Nissan Juke Nismo

    2013-Senner-Nissan-Juke-Nismo-shadow2013-Senner-Nissan-Juke-Nismo-medium

Senner pride themselves with their work on various Nissan 350Z and 370Zs. But anything that’s worthy of the attention of Nismo is worthy of the attention of Senner. Enter the Nissan Juke Nismo – an already vicious powerhouse of aggressiveness, sportiness and testosterone.

The first thing you might notice about the Senner Juke is the prevailing black and white. It is an especially pronounced theme on the Oxigin Oxrock 14 wheels with a “white-wrap-refinement” on the rim well. We wouldn’t call it refinement though. Too flashy for our liking. The sizes: 9,5-inches wide, 20-inch diameter fitted with Continental Sport Contact 5P 255/30 tires. The whole vehicle also sits 35 mm lower to the ground with Senner’s springs

Senner haven’t really tried to improve on the Nismo aerodynamic package. Instead, they have went for small accesorizing – wind deflectors on the side windows, LED daytime running lights, LED license plate illumination and, of all things, Philips Silver Vision chromium flashing indicator bulbs.

Now to the more serious stuff. The Juke’s 1.6-liter engine has received a boost in power because of some witchcraft with the electronics and because of the brand new INJEN-Cold Air Intake module. That’s 225 hp (as opposed to 200 hp) and 275 Nm of torque (as opposed to 250 Nm).

For the appropriate soundtrack, Senner have thrown in their custom made stainless steel exhaust system with ridiculously wide end-pipes.

The whole thing, provided that you already happen to own a Nissan Juke Nismo, will cost you around $12,222. We can’t say if it’s worth it or not.

  • A Stillen Nissan 370Z Bumper for DriftHobby Team

Nissan-370Z-Stillen-Bumper-thumbStillen are adamant that their products are strictly functional. So the Stillen 370Z bumper should be no exception. It’s made from urethane and, according to the Stillen guys, it does what a bumper should do – channel air to all the right places, provide down force and cool the brakes. Then comes, as a secondary priority, the looks. Tiago’s Drift Hobby team seems to agree.

Tiago Drift Hobby is young team from Brasil, Sao Paulo that, as the name suggests, likes to go sideways on tracks amidst much smoke and tire smell. It’s a living… or a hobby. Either way, the front bumper on their rather purple car is in fact, the aforementioned Stillen product. There’s even a video out to as a testimonial – for a moment you see a bumperlees 370Z and then you don’t. As soon as everything is patched up (an easy fix as the bumper uses the stock mounts of the car), the boys throw the now finished Nissan on the track for some rubber squealing action.
