    QUANTiNO

Yes, we have seen the QUANTiNO in a concept variant, and it was too premiered at the Geneva Motor Show. However, the production version has been completely revised. As a low-voltage car, it has been actually rated at just 48 volts. In addition, it can produce up to 109 HP (80 kW) metric split between four electric motors. They drive all four wheels.

    QUANT FE

Next, the QUANT FE is an evolution of the well known QUANT F model. However it is thoroughbred sports car with a coupe-like design, offering seats for four occupants (2+2) design. Just like the QUANT F, the FE is equipped with the same drivetrain producing the outrageous 1090 HP (801 kW). They help the electric street racer accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in mere 2.8 seconds.

The energy needed for this is produced by the onboard power plant in a sustainable and toxicologically completely harmless process. If you have figured it already out, the E in the name QUANT FE stands for Evolution, showing the advancement in the development of the car. There has been a complete revision of the interior done too, but any other details are scarce.

  • nanoFLOWCELL Debuts Second Concept in Geneva

nanoFLOWCELL has just announced that there will be another debuting concept car on their stand at the Geneva Motor Show. Next to the 1090 hp Quant F the company will introduce the QUANTiNO Concept. We have received two pictures that show what the model would look like. In addition, nanoFlowcell claimed that the car will be a sensation and one of the absolute highlights of the show.

To go into details, the QUANTiNO is the smaller sibling of the Quant E and Quant F. It is an innovative electric vehicle with contemporary appeal that features sporty, dynamic and low-voltage drive system.

The car is 3.91 metres long and sports 2+2-seater design. It runs on 22-inch wheels. Both front and rear demonstrate the connection with the nanoFlowcell family.

With a rated voltage of only 48 V the company has achieved four times 25 kW, corresponding to around 136 hp, through a combination of nanoFlowcell, buffer system and electric motors. The result is a top speed of more than 200 km/h in electric mode and range of over 1,000 kilometres.

This is only possible because of the implementation of the low-voltage systems. They have enabled the company to generate levels of drive power that previously appeared impossible.

With its two 175-litre tanks, the QUANTiNO is able to carry 350 litres of ionic liquid in total. The first tanks carries a positive charge while the second – negative charge. The refueling process is similar to this of the diesel and gasoline cars, with the sole difference that the two tanks will be filled simultaneously, each with a different fluid.

QUANTiNO will make its official world debut on 3rd of March at the Geneva Auto Saloon.

  • Tesla Beware! nanoFlowcell Quant F to produce 1090 HP and Effortlessly Cover 800 km?

Remember the nanoFlowcell Quant e-Sportlimousine which was introduced at the last Geneva Auto Show? Well, it is time for the next concept model in company’s portfolio which is dubbed nanoFlowcell Quant F Concept. This is an electric automobile which has a range of 800 km and shows exceptional performance. This almost sounds unbelievable, but we will see all coming true at this year’s auto saloon in Geneva, where the concept will make its official premiere.

The four-seater is an e-sports saloon equipped with nanoFlowcell drive technology. It is equipped with new two-speed automatic transmission that was developed in-house specifically to deliver impressive performance.

And so it does! The top speed here is estimated over 300 km/h in all-electric mode. But this means also zero harmful emissions! And here’s why this car is a big deal: the new QUANT F is not only environment-friendly, but also extremely powerful. Precisely it can produce up to 1090 hp (this equals 801.69 kW!)

The Quant F features an expressive red exterior color, but also integrates newly developed technical components. The enhanced nanoFlowcell continuously feeds over 50 amperes of current into the newly buffer system. In turn, this buffer system is briefly able to supply over 2000 amperes when needed for full performance.

On the other hand a carbon fibre monocoque made with a narrower A-pillar provides the electric beast with more spacious interior and elegant lines.  At the same time it offers exceptional safety for four passengers and range of 800 km.

Yes, the 5.25-metre long sports saloon can cover a renage of over 800 km in all-electric mode alone! In addition, as an alternative drive system, the nanoFlowcell is operated with an ionic fluid. Instead of utilizing hydrogen and oxygen as in a conventional fuel cell, the company works with positive charge ionic fluid and one with a negative charge.

Another exclusive feature is the permanent 4×4 all-wheel drive. It is applied through a four electric motors, which can be converted automatically into a rear-wheel drive at appropriately high speeds or high acceleration rates. To this end the front axle is declutched and subsequently runs in idling mode.

Next, the 2-stage aerofoil needs to be mentioned as well. This feature is activated automatically when the car reaches a speed of 80 km/h, applying additional negative lift force to the rear wheels.

  • Quant e-Sportlimousine Is Now Road Legal In Europe

Quant-e-Sportlimousine-nanoFLOWCELL-Concept-THUMBQuant e-Sportlimousine concept with the nanoFLOWCELL drivetrain has been approved road legal for the European roads by TÜV Süd in Munich. Currently the team at nanoFLOWCELL AG together with its partners is working at top speed on the homologation of the Quant e-Sportlimousine Concept for series production. This is a historic moment for the company and the automotive world because for the first time flow-cell electric drive technology will appear on European roads. Fourteen years of hard development will be eventually put it into practice.

The concept vehicle has its premiere at this year’s Geneva Motor Show. Now, after this approve, the automobile can be entered into detailed planning and development. This will enable nanoFLOWCELL AG to drive forward the wide range of possible applications and potential of the innovative drivetrain.

The concept car is powered by the nanoFLOWcell unit which is an anelectrolyte flow cell power system. It operates on the principles of the redox flowcell. The latter was developed in 1976 for NASA’s American space program.

The result is that the vehicle has a driving range of up to 600 km and it is powered exclusively by salt water. It produces over 912 horsepower (670 kW) and has a projected top speed of over 350 km/h. The acceleration time of the car from 0 to 100 km/h is measured at 2.8 seconds.

  • QUANT e-Sportlimousine To Make Official Debut In Geneva

NanoFLOWCELL AG is going to make a very special debut at the Geneva International Motor Show in a month. It is going to stage a world premiere of the QUANT e-Sportlimousine. The latter is the first research car equipped with nanoFLOWCELL drive.

What has been announced is that the vehicle has an overall length of 5.25 metres and will be a four-seater. It will also offer unique combination of innovative technology, outstanding design and an entirely new energy storage system, called the nanoFLOWCELL technology.

Back in 2009 Swedish supercar builder Koenigsegg joined NLV Solar AG to release the QUANT project. The model used Flow Accumulator Energy Storage (FAES), which was responsible for the 512 hp (376 kW) and 714 Nm (527 lb-ft) of torque, and had a range of 300-mile and a charging time of 15-20 minutes.

And although the intent of both companies was to start the production of the model, this didn’t happen even in 2010 when NanoFLOWCELL AG returned to the show without the Swedish automaker. Four years later we are to see the birth of this brand new project, which still carries the same name and has the same aim – to deliver innovative technologies and exceptional design. Stay tuned for more information, which is to be released near the official debut.
