Hartmann team reveals a moving conference room – check it out!

2018 Hartman Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Hartmann, a tuning studio that specializes in upgrading exclusively Mercedes-Benz machines, has recently revealed its latest project – a fully renovated Sprinter that incorporates parts and systems from different studios and machines and showcases a rather satisfying final result. Let’s check it out!

The body kit is from “SP Stream” customizing range in which Hartmann team has been developing additions for their vehicles for years. The front-end is supplemented by a sexy skirt and spoiler attachment, rocker panels and four-piece rear skirt with SP Stream conversion kit. Furthermore, a perfect addition to the customizing is the set of wheels – these bad boys are 9×20 HALSA 2 rims, wrapped in 255/45/ R20 Continental tires as standard. Sweet!

In terms of interior, the team has included a large table – the idea is to turn the cabin in a moving conference room and include all kind of utilities and goodies. The table is mounted on the factory-made flop mounts for the car seats and features safety box and security control. In fact, Hartmann team is open for different interpretations – their other idea is a “motorcycle lounge” that includes space for four occupants and two motorcycles. Hartmann Tuning Work on Mercedes-Benz Sprinter

Hartmann Tuning Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 319 CDI has been enhanced with tuner’s VANSPORTS styling-programm. The result is that the customization specialists have turned it into unique service vehicle. This red and racey looking Mercedes-Benz Sprinter has received new spoilers at the front and the rear, sideskirts and lowering springs. There are also painted mirror caps and tinted tail lights which contribute even more to this van’s outstanding appearance.

Being a fast service vehicle, the tuners decided to equip it with right sport wheels. As a consequence, the Sprinter received black glossy finished VEST-3-rims in the size of 9 x 20 inches. The wheels are part of the large VANSPORTS wheel-program and are coupled with Pirelli P-Zeo Nero tyres in the dimensions of 265/45 R20).

The optimal deceleration of the Mercedes vehicle is ensured by the high performance braking system with its six-pistons brake calipers and perforated discs. After the work on the exterior, the specialists at Hartmann Tuning continued with the modifications throughout the interior.

They added some attractive VANSPORTS accessories such as leather steering wheel, leather shift levers, pedal covers, genuine carbon decoration and chrome door sill plates. There were also included Singler leather seats in both first and second row. The special rail system on the soil guarantees variable seating arrangements. At last to be mentioned are the folding table and the installed Sortimo van racking system.

Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Caravan Concept – Safer, Cleaner, More Comfortable and Striking

Mercedes-Benz will be showcasing the new Sprinter Caravan Concept at the Caravan Salon in Dusseldorf from 31^st August to 8^th September. The special Sprinter is now even safer, cleaner, more comfortable and more striking.

The exterior boasts tenorite grey metallic, high-roof and a cutaway section revealing a living area with front seats turned around and a spacious side-facing bench seat – which can be pulled out to form a double bed – a kitchen to the left of the opening and a bathroom with integrated wardrobe fitted in transverse position in the rear.

The cut-away model is fitted with furniture featuring a hard-wearing HPL coating in high-gloss white, grey laminate flooring, and seats featuring white genuine automobile leather from Mercedes-Benz. This combination lends the interior the elegant character of a yacht. Side walls and ceiling are covered in Alcantara, with LED lighting throughout. On the outside, the Sprinter sports the new tenorite grey metallic paint finish.

2012 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter

The new 2012 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter is ready to hit the market. The vehicle is put on tough, practical testing, which focuses on the key customer requirements of safety, economy and comfort.

Some of the innovations include a 7-speed torque-converter automatic transmission. So, the new Sprinter is the first van in the world to be available with it. The fuel consumption is reduced even further by the BlueEFFICIENCY package and a higher axle ratio. Other very important technology is the standard fitted ESP – stability control program.

Like all new components of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, these new features have to demonstrate their ability to withstand extreme testing in unforgiving conditions near the Arctic Circle.
The testing program includes starting and running at minus 30 degrees Celsius and even lower. Everything is tested, from the cold-start of the engine equipped with the BlueEFFICIENCY package through the new 7-speed automatic gearbox and other control systems. Their sensors have to be tuned with absolute precision to ensure that the systems are always ready to intervene with corrective measures – regardless of how hostile the operating conditions may be.

The fuel consumption is one of the most important features for the working vehicles. So the new Sprinter can be equipped with BlueEFFICIENCY package, which cuts it with 0.5 liters per 100 km. It comprises of the ECO start/stop function, tyres with reduced rolling resistance, the ECO power steering pump, alternator management and an electrically controlled fuel pump. The result is excellent – 7.4 liters per 100 km.

2012 Hartmann Mercedes-Benz Sprinter SP5 Conference

The new tuning made by Hartmann is based on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter model. The interior of the vehicle is absolutely spectacular and combines luxury and refinement in every possible level. At its core the vehicle is a salon with two single seats and two swivel chairs. In addition, they are also covered with the best genuine Mercedes-Benz nappa leather in “Sunset red” colour or fine Alcantara in “Java” colour.

Furthermore, they are heated as well. In the centre of this Sprinter is a seat and table rail system, which were created in colaboration with TÜV Nord. The side panels and the canopy were also covered in the high-quality leather.

In the rear part of the interior, Hartmann tuners installed different furnishings made of non-distorting boat plywood, which was additionally covered with makassar veneer on both sides, a 6-fold coat of paint and polished. Moreover, there are two highly luxurious roller front cupboards suitable for wardrobe and files, including two 12-Volt connections and an external 220-Volt connection for an additional power supply.

Adding to the spectacular interior there were also installed a catering cabinet for some dishes, a cabinet with an integrated compressor cooling box and a Nespresso coffee bar. The entire setup is lit by ambience lighting with warm-light LED lamps in the canopy and lighting under the rear worktables. Of course, the Sprinter was fully insulated to enhance even further the privacy.

Another refinement with leather and alcantara was made on the drivers and passengers area. In addition, the technicians installed a Pioneer head unit with route planner, Bluetooth phone, DVD-/CD-changer and Ampire low-range bass, as well as a sophisticated speaker system. The tuners didin’t miss the steering wheel: it was covered in special leather in black and sunset red.

There were also included individual carpets in dark red wool velour. In addition to all this, 2012 Hartmann Mercedes-Benz Sprinter SP5 Conference comes with aluminium wheel set, equipped with 265/40R20 tyres; aerodynamics construction set, including front spoiler skirt, a side sill set and tail skirt create a skilfully sportive appearance.

Fleet News – 2010 BMW 3-Series is the most reliable car

The most reliable car is the BMW 3-Series, according to the survey, retaining its number one position from 2010, while the Honda Accord retains its second place from 2010. What is more, German brands have caught up with Japanese cars when it comes to reliability. In other words – six German brands appear in the top 10 as three of them in the top five.

The final two places in the table are taken by two cars absent from the top 10 last year, with the Mazda6 taking ninth place and the BMW 5 Series securing 10^th place. BMW also takes the top spot as the most reliable car manufacturer, with Audi taking second place.

“We are delighted to have won the overall honour in the FN50 reliability survey. The outgoing BMW 3 Series Saloon and the 3 Series range overall has been and continues to be an outstanding success for us.”, commented Tim Abbott, managing director at BMW UK.

“Awards such as this ensure customers can buy a class-leading vehicle safe in the knowledge that only years of enjoyable, hassle free motoring in a premium car await.”, he added.

Daimler AG invests in expansion of Sprinter production

The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter introduced to the market in spring 2006 has been outstandingly well received by customers. To better satisfy the persisting high demand for the vans manufactured in Düsseldorf and Ludwigsfelde, the Board of Management of Daimler AG has decided to invest a total of 177 million euros in the two German van-making facilities.
