Mercedes-Benz ML63 Wide Body R by Expression Motorsport is a project we must review. The iconic ML63 model of the German brand has been tuned in order to deliver enhanced racing aesthetics and performance on the track. The vehicle has been carefully customized with carbon fiber parts, includes new LED lights and wheels and more importantly features a wide body kit which makes it even more aggressive.
Firstly, the tuners added larger openings in the front bumper. They help the engine get a better cooling. Carbon fiber has been used for the new inserts and front spoiler lip, thus giving this Mercedes-Benz better racing capabilities and more muscular stance.
Furthermore, the front bumper set features LED daytime running lights. A wide body kit was then mounted and it includes a set of fender flares comprising of 10 pieces and including air intakes.
This modification has allowed the specialists at Expression Motorsport to mount wider wheels in the size of 23″. Another benefit from the kit is the added lower suspension. A carbon fiber rear diffuser with F1 brake light combined with the double twin tip exhaust rounds out the entire modification of the vehicle.
Revozport Mercedes-Benz W166 ML63 Rezonance can be considered as the fastest and best looking ML. Originally it is equipped with V8 turbo-engine, which delivered 525 horsepower. After the enhancements done on the unit by Revozport, it is now capable of generating the mind-blowing 600 horsepower.
The specialists have done this by thy putting in a new carbon induction system, engine management mapping and a complete titanium exhaust. Furthermore, in order to complete the improvement of this Mercedes-Benz, they have completed its design with a new set of aerokit.
The name of the latter is Rezonance ML, which includes a new double deck carbon fibre front splitter, 30 mm wider carbon over fender kit, bespoke 22” forged alloy wheels and 13J x 335 tires.
At the rear one can see a complete 3 element diffuser in carbon fibre, a trunk roof spoiler and exhaust system in complete Titanium. Other parts includes carbon mirror cover and front grills.
2013 Mercedes-Benz ML 500 4MATIC BlueEFFICIENCY is the third generation of the ML-Class, equipped with a V8 petrol version. Furthermore, it includes new safety features such as COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST (CPA)*. The new ML 500 4MATIC BlueEFFICIENCY will be arriving at dealerships in autumn this year.
First, the new turbocharged BlueDIRECT V8 of this Mercedes-Benz SUV model is a direct injection petrol engine. More importantly however, it offers excellent performance along with top-class efficiency. The powerful V8 engine generates 300 kW (408 hp) at 600 Nm of torque and is available at a much lower engine speed of 1600 rpm.
Despite reduced displacement, the high output is achieved thanks to the two exhaust gas turbochargers – one for each bank of cylinders. V8 also includes third-generation direct fuel injection system with spray-guided combustion and piezo injectors combined with multi-spark ignition.
All this results in outstanding fuel economy, which is additionally improved by the comprehensive package of BlueEFFICIENCY measures. For example it includes the ECO start/stop function which comes as standard, the seven-speed 7G-TRONIC PLUS automatic transmission, low-friction axle drives, electric steering, optimised belt drive, on-demand control of the ancillary components.

The new 2012 Mercedes-Benz M-Class is set to have its official debut at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show. However, the premium manufacturer has released full details and specification about the new SAV.
By “new” we don’t mean entirely redesigned model, but a slight facelift, which practically is the old M-Class, but with bigger taillights and interesting headlights. The highlights worth mentioning include a new front grille, new wheel designs from 17” to 21” as the biggest come with AMG badge. The improvements are present, still, we think that the rear lights are directly taken from BMW E61 (the previous 5-Series touring). It is tough to create something new and different these days, but this is Mercedes! If they don’t have the designers and the engineers to create a real new SAV, nobody can’t.
2012 Mercedes-Benz M-Class – Back
The interior is something different. The cabin is way better than the previous model and now feature higher quality materials and a lot of wood. Yes! The dashboard came directly from the S-Class, so we love it. The center console is wider and has some aluminum elements. The updated COMAND system is also present and as an option, you can order panoramic sunroof. Nice!

As you may suggest, the engines are brilliant. The entry level is ML 250 BlueTec with 2.1 liter four-cylinder diesel delivering hefty 204PS (150 kW) and 500Nm (369 lb-ft). The more powerful diesel – ML 350 BlueTec comes with a 3.0 liter V6 with 258PS (190 kW) and 619Nm (457 lb-ft). The performance is brutal – 0 to 100 km/h for 7.5 seconds and top speed of 224 km/h. Excellent for SAV.
The petrol engine is in ML 350 BueEfficiency with a 3.5 liter V6 with 306PS (225 kW) and 370Nm (273 lb-ft). The top speed is 235 km/h and 0 to 100 km/h takes 7.6 seconds.
All engines come with a 7G-Tronic automatic gearbox delivering the power to an all-wheel drive system.
The new M-Class has a selective damping suspension, while the Airmatic self-leveling air suspension and an Active Curve System with dynamic roll stabilization is available as an option. The SAV equipped with this will be a pleasure to drive.
The safety is at extemely high level – Night View Assist Plus including pedestrian recognition, Speed Limit Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Assist, Active Park Assist and Distronic Plus and some other intersting systems.
The price is not announced, yet!

The Range Rover is may be the most luxurious SUVs on the market. It is in the same class with the BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz ML and Audi Q7. There is no doubt that all vehicles offer exclusive comfort, but in a way the Range Rover surpasses them.
The tuning company Startech has a good solutions of customizing the Range Rover. (more…)
The first BMW X5 was introduced in 1999, it’s code is E53. Since it was put on sale, the big SAV (Sport Activity Vehicle) became an instant hit. X5 was better in every single point compared to the direct rival – Mercedes-Benz ML. The BMW had better engines, better handling, more aggressive look and it was also better off the road. Because of all these good aspects, BMW didn’t wait too much and refreshed the X5 at 2003 with the introduction of the xDrive – one of the best four wheel-drive systems in the world. With the facelift, X5 also got more powerful engines and minor style changes. (more…)
