Vorsteiner Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG Front ViewVorsteiner has finally released their latest project and first for the 2016 year. It is based on the strong and beautiful Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG, which was recently updated by Mercedes in terms of visuals, but also in terms of power and torque. As a matter of fact, the latest Mercedes E63 AMG has a lot to offer with its 557 hp (410 kW) and 720 Nm (531 lb-ft) in both the Limo and the T-model. What is more, the factory S version, enhanced with the AMG Performance Package,  pumps out above 585 hp (430 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft).

The additional 26 horsepower are due to changes to the engine-management system as well as increased peak injection and boost pressure. In other words, this is the most horsepower that the E63 has ever gotten! The top speed of the E63 AMG was also uplifted and is now up to 186 mph (300 km/h) in comparison to the standard 155 mph (250 km/h). The acceleration time for the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h is achieved at 3.6 seconds.

Stepping over the already enhanced horsepower, the tuners at Vorsteiner have created a special VBR E63 AMG Aero Program. Basis for the making of this car was the perfection and function inspired art. And we can say that these key goals were ultimately achieved throughout. The carbon fiber aftermarket customization accentuates car’s performance oriented nature and it also maintains the style and luxury of the E-Class.

    The VBR Aero Kit

The kit comprises of a front aero spoiler and a rear aero diffuser. The first one was created to underline the front of the E63 AMG, making it even more sleek and classy. In addition, the spoiler was also designed to deliver performance and airflow dedicated aesthetic update.

Next, the VBR rear aero diffuser accentuates the back of the E63 AMG. The new carbon diffuser not only improves the downforce, but also produces better airflow and contributes for more aggressive note at the tail side of the vehicle.

    Vorsteiner V-FF 102 Alloys

At last, rounding out this tuning are the in-house made V-FF 102 Flow Forged wheels, which measure 20×9 and 20×10 inches at the front and rear, respectively. By the way, the alloys feature Brushed finish that even further emphasize the exclusive exterior. They give the Mercedes a perfect and sleek finishing touch.

  • Performmaster Redefines Pure “E-nergy” with Custom Mercedes E63 AMG

Performmaster Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG Side View Mercedes E63 AMG is definitely a car, which shows a lot of power, potential and performance capabilities, even without anyone working on it. However, it is also one of the most favorite cars of tuning companies. The newest example is Performmaster’s variant of E63 AMG, which has received a special treatment for its engine. As the tuning company says: it redefines pure “E-nergy”. And this perfectly describes the “E” letter of car’s name, because in physics it stands for energy (in case you wonder).

By the way, the latest Mercedes E63 AMG has certainly a lot to offer. It produces 557 hp (410 kW) and 720 Nm (531 lb-ft) in both the Limo and the T-model. Even more, the factory S version pumps out 585 hp (430 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft).

    The PEC Tuning-Module

Performmaster Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG Front View

This is exactly where Performmaster stepped in with the purest intention of giving more to the already powerful output of the E-class. This wouldn’t have happened without the use of PEC Tuning-Module, which has upgraded the initial force of the E63 to 702 hp (516 kW) and 1,000 Nm (738 lb-ft).

    The Comparison

If we have to compare the new performance numbers with those of the production car, then I will make the math for you and immediately tell you that this is an increase of 145 hp (106 kW) and 280 Nm (207 lb-ft). But this is not all. The tuners decided to ‘add’ to the top speed too. The PEC Tuning-Module’s USP is the fully integrated V-max neutralization, thus raising the Vmax from 250 to 320 km/h.

In other words, this car will take you where only super sports cars could go.

  • Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG Enhanced by Posaidon

There are always numbers of high-speed and more-power-connoisseurs who simply never get enough from what they receive. The constant demand for more and more ushers tuning companies to push their craftsmanship and abilities to their limits and produce something that will have the ultimate WOW-factor.

Such is the situation with the current Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG. Its sufficient serial output of 557 PS does not seem to be satisfying enough. For this reason, Posaidon is taking care of the performance improvements of the car, thus answering the needs of a large number of performance enthusiasts.

With the additionally generated PS in the E-class by Posaidon, the car turns into a real driving machine. Due to fine coordination of the motor electronics, the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG “RS 850” demonstrates an expanded power output of 853 PS. Respectively, the torque jumps from 720 Nm to the impressive 1,300 Nm which will leave you dumbfounded. The maximum speed is 345 km/h, electronically limited. The gearbox and the rear axle are optimized as well in order to resist the increased stress. In addition to this, Posaidon professionals offer less extreme performance stages, varying from 630 to 749 PS for all model series with M157 63 AMG biturbo motors.

The performance treatment includes two upgrade turbochargers installed in connection with a changed charging air cooling, optimized suction paths of the 5.5 litres V8-biturbo drive and completely new exhaust technology which replaced the old one. The brand-new exhaust system is comprised of turbo downpipes, racing sports catalysers and flap control.

Undoubtedly, with such improvements, Posaidon definitely manages to unleash the full potential of the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG “RS 850”.

  • Cadillac works on 2016 CTS-V model

The Cadillac CTS-V has been around for nearly 10 years now. Launched back in 2004 as a high-performance version of the CTS sedan it targeted other fast cars such as the BMW M5 and the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG. Coming at first with a powerful 5.7-liter LS6, V8 engine for 400 HP (294 kW) of power and 395 lb-ft (535 Nm) of torque, the Cadillac CTS-V was upgraded in 2006, receiving a 6.0-liter LS2 engine with the same power but a better torque range. More changes were applied in 2008 with the second generation Cadillac CTS-V. This time the car had a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine that produced 556 HP (409 kW) of power and 551 lb-ft (747 Nm) of torque.

Now Cadillac CTS-V fans will get to see and experience the third generation of this muscle vehicle. The new car is based on the brand-new CTS sedan and has a redesigned exterior and a larger interior, while at the same time bringing more power, newer technologies and less weight.

The new Cadillac CTS-V comes with one important change so we chose to start with it. The new generation will be an attempt by Cadillac to better differentiate its high-performance models from standard ones and the CTS line will be the first one to benefit from this change. The first change is that the grille of the car no longer resembles the one of a standard 2014 CTS. The new one is both wider and shorter and comes with an entirely new design. The bumper is also different and larger intakes replace the more stylish cutouts in the regular CTS. In addition the vehicle is expected to be even more aerodynamic and there will be air vents on the hood that suggest there’s a force-fed V8 engine inside the car.

As to engines there’s little information but we do know that the new 2015 Cadillac CTS-V line will come with at least one V8 gasoline engine that will produce around 600 HP (441 kW) and 580 lb-ft (786 Nm) of torque.

Just like before the main targets of the Cadillac CTS-V will be the 2014 BMW M5 and the current Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG. Both cars are slightly more powerful than the Cadillac CTS-V but sell for around USD 90 000 and more, which is a disadvantage when compared to the 2015 Cadillac CTS-V – a car that is expected to sell for around USD 70 000.
